They've also helped me out with my veneers on my two front teeth (I was in a bike accident when I was 11) and helped ensure that they'd last since it can be challenging to align my bite. I had what I thought was an "emergency" dental situation last week. Dr. Kennedy was out of town so I went somewhere else local (not going to out them, but it wasn't a great experience). That dentist told me I would need ALL this very, very expensive dental work immediately. I felt weird about it so I waited a week to see Dr. Kennedy when he came back into town today. He looked at X-rays and my teeth and said I absolutely do not need the expensive dental work the other guy said I needed. Totally trust Dr. Kennedy and the staff. 100000% recommend to anyone. The administration in the front office promptly scheduled an appointment, which surprised me considering how busy they were. Within 2 seconds of sitting in the chair the dental assistant determined it was a filling and not something more serious. I was immediately relieved I didn't chip a tooth or god knows what else. Despite being an adult, I'm afraid of needles in my mouth - (I've had bad experiences at other dentist and can remember how painful some of the injections were) but when Dr. Van administrated the numbing injection I didn't feel a thing and she talked me through it the entire 5 seconds. If it was publicly acceptable to shed a tear over something like that I would have on the spot. She had me out the door in less than an hour and the quality + care I received was great like it's always been at their office - (when I went to the dentist 2x a year like I'm supposed to) I also don't have insurance but the bill was still affordable and I'd be 3x as much for their care if I had to. They demanded payment prior to service( i have a good dental plan icidently) accepting only credit card at a 3.4% premium or CASH no check. If you needed to go to an ATM it was a few minutes away but until i returned with the green stuff they wouldn't sklowvmy wife to begin her treatment. They had to take their own X-rays even though our dentist that sent them to this practice, so like in more fees! The doctors bedside manner was lukewarm and not people oriented. When we saw their business manager they explained reauthorization would take several weeks where in other medical /dental offices they could receive that information almost instantaneously. I suppose a degree of laziness or not wantpting to accept insurance may be the prevailing policy. It was an $80 mistake today but ill be seeking different oral care providers.

Had a horrible experience. My mom went in as a first time patient. Prior to going to her…read moreappointment they verified that they take her insurance. When she got there, they listed a bunch of "required" procedures she needed as a new patient. She explained she had only made the appointment for a regular x-ray and cleaning that is covered by insurance. They said she HAD to do a "special x-ray" and that the fluoride treatment was mandatory. My mom sees a dentist every 6 months. That is what is covered by insurance. Unfortunately she moved and this office was the closest to her. She has never had this happen before at any of her prior dentist offices. They always just take x-rays and do her cleaning. She doesn't have implants or any special dental problems that would "require" all these procedures that conveniently for them was not covered by insurance and my mom would have to pay out of pocket. This is obviously a scam to double dip, get paid by insurance and also have people pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for things they don't really need.
