Do not go here, they change their estimate price after the procedure is done and say that insurance did not cover it. This was after I asked if everything was approved prior to beginning. Poor customer service from Jasmine and just wrong information given by the staff. read more

I have always loved going to the dentist. I first came here about a year ago and had an okay experience. My most recent visit was fantastic. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The lady that took me back to my room was very kind and so was the dental hygienist I had. Even the dentist was extremely friendly. You can tell these people really love their jobs and care about you and want you to feel at home in the office. And to make it even better everything was extremely clean. If you're looking for a dentist this is the place to go. read more

Wow Winter Garden Smiles really value their patients. I mean they go out of there way to make you feel comfortable, they are helpful, patient, and most of all caring. I came in to the office today for a general cleaning. I made an appointment via phone, because of COVID-19 I missed my original cleaning. So I had to reschedule. The staff advised me to wait in the car and they would call when it was my turn to go in. They also prescreened me with questions about COVID-19 over the phone. Upon entering the office with my mask of course, I was escorted to a table to then fill a waiver, again about COVID-19. Once completed, my temperature was taken then I was escorted to my chair to wait for my hygienist. All staff were professional and taking all precautions seriously. I waited two seconds and my hygienist was there advising me to take my mask off so she could then clean my teeth. She was very kind and helpful, but most of all she was thorough, we all know when people take their time with you and she did. My teeth felt squeaky clean. Trust me I'm obsessed with cleaning my teeth.. So I grind my teeth at night and I knew I needed to be fitted for a night guard and had every intentions of getting one, however they quoted me with the full price $500. So I said not this time. At the end of my appointment a different lady returned with a new quote this with my insurance included and it was only $191. A much more affordable price. So I decided to proceed. A little mix up. My only advice is to double check they included your insurance. They are going above and beyond and you can tell!! When I lived in Palm Beach Gardens, I had the best dentist ever. So when I moved to Orlando finding a new dentist had a hard act to follow. Originally I went to one of those chain offices. It was horrible. Over priced, only interested in selling unnecessary treatments, impersonal, and I felt like just a number. After much research I found Winter Garden Smiles. The best decision I have made. I felt comfortable and as if I was family. Never up sold, or pressured. The whole team was genuinely kind and helpful. The dentist was gentle and informative. I was never rushed through and truly felt like they cared about me. Thank you to the dentist and the whole team. You guys have been the best! I'm moving soon and am dismayed at the the idea of finding a new dentist, and once again, they're going to have a hard act to follow. You guys are great! Thanks for everything! read more

tipping ellis Fri, May 20, 11:36 AM (12 days ago) to me I am 68 years old and recently moved to Winter Garden Florida.  I have had regular dental visits all my life, but never experienced such a lack of professionalism nor "financial racket" under duress as experienced today. Today I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned at Winter Garden Smiles. I was told over the phone that the best deal was a 2 visit package for $285. When I arrived I had to wait 20 minutes beyond my appointment time. When I was taken back to a treatment room I was asked, under duress, to sign a paper saying I owed $390. I was told verbally I would not have to pay this, if I later signed up for the $285 package.  So I signed. Then I was given 18 X-rays - never near that many with prior dentists, but was assured "not much radiation." Then somebody came in to check my gums. Then the dentist came in to check my teeth. Still no teeth cleaning. With all this unexpected and unexplained (and likely undesired additional expense, at this point I decided to forgo the cleaning and whatever else might be coming and just leave. I asked what I owed. The hygienist told me the dentist recommended I get the Perio package for $455. I declined. The receptionist said I could leave, but I owed $390. I declined to pay. She consulted with her manager who said I could get the $285 package and apologized for the 20 minute wait. I declined. I did not receive any x-rays or other results. I left at this point. I just got a bill in the mail for $293. I will pay it, and consider it lesson learned read more

Office and staff are amazing! They were extremely easy to schedule with and even have text reminders for your appointments. They are a great small practice that makes you feel like an individual. I needed to have a filling replaced and the dentist was amazing with the work he did and explaining the process. Also took my 14 month old for his first dentist visit and the staff could not have been sweeter to him. read more

Dr. Gil and Brittney were wonderful each and every time I came in for a visit. They took the time to actually listen to my concerns and calmed me even when I was anxious or nervous about a procedure. Just moved here from out of state and started looking for a local dentist for my family. I called to set up my family due to all the good reviews and was greeted on the phone by someone who did not sound happy to help me out. After being put on hold 4 times throughout the call, about 45 min later we all had appts. I was first to have an appt. I sat down for a exam/cleaning and waited for the X-ray tech. He came in and began shoving xray films into my mouth and bruising my gums. I told him to stop, it hurt too bad. He moved to the other side, kept having to retake the X-rays over and over and continued to bruise my gums. Most painful X-rays I've ever had in my 40 years! He then said he was going to get help, and had another tech come in to take the xrays. She was much gentler and was able to get them on the first try. Then she began cleaning my teeth with a DRILL!! I have never experienced that before, so I asked why she wasn't using the manual tool I've always had used on my cleanings in the past. She said that's what they used and I told her it was also painful to my already sore gums from the X-rays. She said she would "turn it down". She then proceeded to clean my teeth with the drill that was EAR PIERCING LOUD AND EXTREMELY PAINFUL!!! I stopped the cleaning and walked out in tears. My mouth is swollen and hurting now hours later. I canceled all my family members appts and will never recommend this office! read more

I would give them zero but the lowest is one. Staff, front desk people and office manager Vanessa are super unprofessional and rude! I told all my community how bad they treat military family! I have been told by front desk lady that they are in network, made appointment and when I was sitting on the chair they told oh you have to pay yourself we just saw that we are out of network. WINTER Garden Smiles is amazing! They went above and beyond and I am so grateful. I developed tooth pain on my wedding day and they found time to meet with me that following Monday. They also called multiple endodontists to find one that was able to do my emergency root canal in time to leave for my honeymoon that afternoon. I never like giving one star, however, Winter Garden Smiles is deserving of just that. I was asked to go to the back for my cleaning 2 mins before my actual appointment time and asked to take a seat in the dentist chair. I was kindly handed a remote control, a bib around my neck and told my dental hygienist would be in within a minute to start my cleaning. After sitting in the chair for 22 minutes I decided I wasn't going to sit there any longer. No one bothered to come back and tell me they were running late (which rarely happens with cleanings) or that there were any emergencies or anything. I took off the bib off walked up to the front desk and said, "I sat back there for 22 minutes and I'm not going to sit anymore. I have appointments I need to keep this afternoon. Have a nice day." No one bothered to call me and no one seemed to care. I understand things happen in dentist offices, however, when they don't have the decency to let you know what's going on, why you are just sitting in the dentist chair waiting then they aren't worthy of my business. I have appointments I need to keep as well and dentists are a dime a dozen in Orlando. Unfortunately since they didn't even have the decency to follow up with me it looks like I'll be switching my entire family to a new dentist. With this low level service they won't have many customers before long. read more

I love Winter Garden Smiles. If you are a parent in Winter Garden looking for a wonderful dentist and staff look no more! I've spent a lot of time looking for a pediatric dentist that would allow me to go back with the kids if they needed work done. I know a lot of places say the kids do better without the parents hovering and in some cases they may be right but I prefer to be with my child. I was so relieved after searching and almost making an appointment 40 minutes away from me, to find Winter Garden smiles. They are so patient and sweet to my children that have anxiety due to previous dentists. My kids no longer feel scared to go to the dentist!! What a relief. read more

My daughter fell and chipped her two front teeth. As a existing patient, I called and got an appointment to get them fixed. Went in, spent an hour there only to be told I had to come back for another visit to get them fixed! I guess my time is not valuable!! read more

Looking for a new dentist, wastes my insurance by waiting until 6pm the night before to cancel an appointment via text message that has been on the books for 6 months and confirmed via their email confirmation request this week because they decided at the last minute they didn't want to work on Dec. 30th, leaving no option to reschedule this insurance year so now we get to pay out of pocket for dental cleanings which should have been covered. read more

Went in today with a Groupon. OK it was a discount but they told they would not clean my teeth if I didn't do the Periodontal Cleaning, and it would cost me another $800 for this. That is bad practice. Unless you have insurance this dentist is no good! read more
