After several weeks of design, we finalized a plan and purchased all the hardware/door. The next step was to find an open-mined handyman/carpenter to execute the plan. As recommended, we interviewed and received several estimates as well as alternative suggestion to our design. Growing up with a father that loved challenges and was a jack of all trades, finding someone that would listen and charge a reasonable fee turned into a challenge. Frustrated and ready to put the door/channel up with sticky tape, we looked on Thumbtack and found Vadzim. Who also appeared on Yelp. The cost of the job was reasonable; time estimate was right on; the install looks great. He provides several services and is on our to call list.

Steve at Mr. Handyman reached out right away and asked me to call him to discuss the details. I called Steve to explain a job I needed done involving an access door from my garage. He explained what he thought would be the best approach and that one of his employees would give me a better idea when he arrived for the quote. Steve explained the pricing, hourly rate, etc. and that his employee would give me a final quote before starting any work. Derek arrived on time for the appointment (I also got a text when he was on his way which was a nice touch). We went through all the details together, he explained what he would do and the estimated cost. I agreed and he got to work. He did an excellent job and the door looks great. I asked about a second project involving our swing set which he thankfully had time to include. Again, he went over all the details and estimates before proceeding. The work quality was again absolutely excellent. Derek cleaned up his work area completely. The final price came in exactly where expected, which I will also say I think is a fair price for the length of time he was here and the quality of the work performed. He asked me about any other needs I had and gave me some documentation regarding the most common jobs his company handles in case I need anything in the future. I can't think of anything about the process that could have been improved here. I would definitely give them a call again if I need anything!

Eli offers a reasonably priced plumbing service and came in over a thousand dollars less than other area plumbers quotes to replace our water heater. He also provided high quality service quickly and ended up doing the job a day early! Eli is a pleasure to work with as well! We recently had a complete failure of our wonderful AO Smith Tankless Water Heater. We all have a worthless nonsense 15 year warranty. Unfortunately it only covers the heat exchanger and no labor for THEIR failed leaking part. Ultimately the labor cost is much higher than the part cost. It made absolutely no sense for us to keep fixing an aging out annoying tankless unit. Since the tankless unit requires a yearly descaling process and this was our second failure we decided to go with a 50 gallon power vented tank unit that we are very happy with. A tank unit only requires a simple yearly flush. The advantage of the tank unit is using far less cold water to get hot water to start out and should result in lower sewer bill cost with less wastefully running cold water running down the drain! We determined that a tank and tankless new install were somewhat comparable in cost and efficiency. Again. Eli is a great resource and we will be using him in the future for our plumbing needs.......

The entire project team was great to work with, very responsive and highly organized. We really liked the project management app and 3D design software they used. Before bringing in the Core team my husband and I struggled with making decisions around the final design. However once we brought in Corey's team, they helped with determining the design elements and provided great guidance & suggestions that made the decision process much easier.
