After lightning struck my house in early May and put a hole in the roof, I found myself unexpectedly thrown into the search for a reputable roofing company. Had Nor'Easter replace our roof in October '24 and was very happy with the quality of work, price, and quick project completion. Contacted Rob and he replied quickly to setup a time to go over options and get the work scheduled within a few weeks. Entire replacement took 2 days as Rob had estimated and he and his team were great. They did a great job cleaning up the debris and any nails that had gotten into the yard. We had worked with Rob and his team during a home addition project 7 years ago so we knew we could trust him and went with him for this more timely repair (squirrel damage causing a leak). We had a complicated project of coordinating solar panel removal, roof replacement and flashing repair around the chimney) and solar panel reinstallation. I must have had 10 contractors provide quotes and advice. For me, I wanted value and someone who did it the right way. I wanted a company that was fair on price but had the technical competence of a successful corporation. So in the end I went with Robert Chaille from Nor'easter Roofing. When you meet Rob you will see he has the acumen to assess the requirements of the job. He will show up confident in his team's ability to get the job done the right way - and for good reason. When Nor'easter Roofing was done with my roof I couldn't stop staring at it.... We paid a premium price expecting a professional job. I figured they would have used a matching color drip edge since white and tan and black don't match. He did put it in the contract so read your contract carefully. There are now large gaps between our roofing/drip edge and our gutters. He was quick to point out flaws in our detached garage but doesn't see it on his own work. His crew blew debris off our driveway into our lawn when completed. Things were moved off our back deck that I needed to be put back. They knocked off an outdoor temperature gauge which then fell into pieces. I only found half the parts. I asked the woman who was cleaning up in the area if she had seen them but she couldn't speak English so she couldn't help me so that is now junk. He was supposed to do the job in April or May and it is now June. I contacted him a few days ago to find out when he was going to do our good because we put down a deposit last fall. He tells me two weeks and then less than a week later he wants to show up. There is no way that I would use Nor'East Roofing again. I thought for nearly $20,000 I would have gotten a better job. read more

Our home is only 9 years old and had to have roof replaced. This was due to snow being shoveled off in 2015, which damaged the roof and started causing leaks in our bedroom.
