We have been grateful for Hammers service for 7 years now as we live between two homes and they give us enormous peace of mind for when we are away. They do periodic checks of our extensive grounds in addition to the interior of our home for any unexpected calamities such as a pipe breaking and flooding our basement, finding a king snake in the water heater closet, or as in this week's intruder. We received warning texts from our security company (separate from Hammers) that there was motion inside our home, which had set off the loud alarm inside the house. We immediately called Hammers from our desert home and they quickly dispatched someone to check on the house, which was pretty brave! When they got there they indeed found an intruder - a squirrel who had come down the chimney and made himself at home at our dining room table. The Hammers patrol person was able to humanely capture the squirrel and release it. Love these guys & gals! read more

They are not an honest company. We were in a rented Vrbo for the weekend and the place did not have hot water and the heat did not work correctly. Evolve the managing company called them to go out and Hammer Patrol said we would not let them in. They never came or called us, but told the managing company they did. We asked them to review the outside camera footage to prove they never showed up, but they refused. Awful weekend for our entire family. Incompetent company! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We called and spoke with Ron, the owner, and were told we were put on the schedule to have our access road plowed at 8:20 AM. He told us he would shoot to be there for before noon. Then we called at 1 PM and he told us he would be there in an hour and a half. He never showed up, never answered any of our phone calls, and never gave us a call back. We own a rental home and because the road was never plowed we ended up with guests snowed in and other guests who were supposed to check stranded and sitting in their car in the freezing cold having nowhere to go. To not even give us a heads up that they couldn't make it so we could find someone else is not only rude and inconsiderate, but dangerous in these conditions. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!! read more

Ron and sons did a great job of removing snow from our property. More importantly, he said he would be up at our place in Lake Arrowhead at a specific time on the day before our arrival and he called me when he arrived exactly like he said he would. He gave me a reasonable estimate and proceeded to clear our driveway, stairs, and deck. He saved my husband hours of shoveling. Very professional, prompt, and aims to please. Last year, I contacted Hammer's Mountain Services from a referral given to me by a local real-estate agent when I was notified by the county re. my cabin's excessive weeds and pine needles, and it was a no-brainer to call when I was notified again this year. Both times Ron and his team completed the work perfectly and on time - better yet, his staff filed the notice with the county, offering peace of mind for me not to have to deal directly with the county. Ron has communicated through every step of the process, answers/returns phone calls and is precise with what is required and what was done. On Friday December 11th, my husband, myself and our cat rode up the mountain in a Toyota Camry w/o chains. We had no idea there was ice and snow on the roads that would cause being stuck. There was no snow patrol or signs. When we reach Grass Valley and made our left from Peninsula we immediately saw ice and snow - a lot blocking - but we manage to keep going until we came across a white Silverado truck that was stuck and blocking the road. Because we slowed down & stopped, our car became stuck. Naturally we didn't know what to do. We almost made it to the top of the incline near Brentwood Drive but with our cat we could not dare to walk with the cold air. And the fact (I have to admit) our cat is fat and heavy. I thought immediately that perhaps Ron Hammer would know what to do. He not only volunteered to find us and help us get home but most of all he gave me comfort and the feeling of being safe. It turns out that the driver of the truck had been drinking and his truck kept rolling back almost on top of us. Somehow the driver backed his truck down the road and started going up again and did make it. In between events he yelled out he only lived 100 years away. We backed up too and started back up the road and got going & arrived safely at home. The comfort of Ron staying in touch with us proves that he and his company will go beyond the call of duty for their clients (friends).
