On Sunday at 1:44 AM, my alarm company called LA Patrol to respond to an alarm at my home in Lake Arrowhead. I have been a client of LA Patrol for over 30 years. The LA Patrol response, "We don't have anyone to respond to your call." That was it. They never followed up until I called this Monday morning. The local manager called back and said they did not have anyone to work the night shift so they were not responding to these calls for response at night. ???? Their website says 24 Alarm Response and their service will exceed your expectations. Baloney! The manager offered me a month's refund. On top of that, I just received a letter from this manager saying they were going to raise my monthly rate! Seems like they are in the business of billing but not honoring their contract. I am going to another local provider. Who by the way is cheaper and recommended by my alarm provider. I suggest anyone who is a Lake Arrowhead Patrol customer, do so at their own risk. read more

Have had this service for several years....long before ability to register review with Yelp! Service staff just left after checking out a possible failure of the system here at home. The office had called earlier today saying their system showed a possible problem. The gentlemen who checked it out have been here before, replaced a battery, reset tripped circuit breaker and reported the "resusitation" was all it needed. Again, have used this service for years, they have come out when I forgot to turn off the water during a blizzard type quick storm and always are friendly, competent and professional. We live 1 hour and a half away and visit our home on weekends. To have the peace of mind knowing our house is being taken care of is huge. The staff are courteous, friendly and professional. Installation was done with attention to detail and explained in detail. I am very happy with Lake Arrowhead Security. A word to the wise: STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM ADT. You don't deal directly with them but with their "approved" third party installers. The system constantly gave false alarms. When we moved and no longer needed the system, we told the rep this and not once did she say if we didn't continue the service in our new location, we would be penalized. Never once was it brought to our attention when we signed up were we shown the fine print, and sure enough, they took us to collections and we had to shell out over $500. I had this service for years without major complaints but recently the ownership changed. They visited the premises 3 times in the last month and never noticed or never cared that the alarm was not on (armed) thus I was not being monitored for about a month. I was not offered an adjustment for this lack of monitoring. Maybe since they are under new ownership they should change their name as well: "Airhead Alarm" or "Errorhead Alarm" sound like good descriptive choices. read more

Everything was accomplished in a matter of hours. After installing the system, Fred walked us through the programming of the digital pad. I had a break in this week at my office building early in the am. The alarm scared off the thieves and they ran away and did not take anything.They had already unplugged a video monitor and that was probably just when the alarm went off. Three weeks ago we had a theft and the crooks face was on the security camera. We were able to give a video to the police of both events. Both times Lake Arrowhead Patrol notified us and the police immediately. read more

Ok, this is my first review on yelp. I have to give Arrowhead Patrol five stars based on their services. It is a family owned business and the owners Karen and Richard are wonderful people. Karen was the the one who give us the price quote on the phone and Richard was the one who installed the alarm systems for us. Since this mountain home is our part time / vacation home, we really rely on their patrol and monitoring service. I had a few minor issues with operating the system since it was new and I was not familiar with it. Their customer service girls - Toni ( I think that was her name) and Susie were very helpful and patient with me. We are very glad to have them watching our home where we are away. read more

Trey was excellent. My system was complicated due to several automation and it required multiple visits. Trey handled the work very well. He was professional, responsive and likable. This is keeping in mind that my system is not 100% complete with pending some automation adjustments, which I hope to see complete within the next 2 weeks. I do love the system of door lock, lighting (pending programming and other adjustments) and will love the water valve automation once it is complete (still pending completion). read more
