And it's on me for not knowing ahead of time that that was a requirement along with being cash only. Once I saw the area for kayaking and picnicking I wanted to bring my whole family back. So I called and left a message saying I was interested and wanted to know how to proceed. When I didn't hear back, I reached out on social media and got a response that it was the Fourth of July weekend, so I shouldn't expect a response until Monday. Fair enough, though the outgoing message on the day I called (July 5) said they were open and doing business all weekend for the 4th. The person on their social media (who I kind of feel is the same person who we saw the day we were there who I believe is the owner) said my message was on somebody's desk and I would get a call on Monday. I waited through Monday and into Tuesday before reaching out again via DM to say that I still had not heard back from my voicemail. They responded that they were very surprised that I hadn't gotten a message back because they were pretty sure everybody's messages got answered. After I reiterated that mine hadn't been answered, they didn't respond further. The irony at this point is that the amount of time going back-and-forth on DM to tell me that they don't answer questions on DM could've easily be used to answer questions. So I gave up on the kayaking and chose a different activity for my family. All this to say, my original very good feeling about such a beautiful place has now been replaced with a sour taste in my mouth because of very poor communication, which is a bummer.

Be fore we could say a word he started yelling " That guy would not listen to where I told him to park. I don't run this like other farms. I have a lot of f$&king money. A looooottt of f$&king money. I don't need them" My wife was sitting in the passenger seat in shock. He then yells barks at her " don't like at me like that !!" She never said a word. I say - " we are leaving " he said good - get the F$&k out I don't need your money" We drove away and went to BlueBerry Bills in Hammonton which was awesome. Stay away from this place.

I miss the North Georgia wineries we frequented when we lived in Atlanta. We'd been to a couple in…read morethis area, but none bowled me over. Until today, that is. White Horse is located about an hour from Philadelphia. The property is beautiful, the staff laid back & friendly. We sampled two flights, three tastes in each. Some selections didn't send me (like Albarino and Merlot.). I loved the Cab Franc, but my family did not. (Good thing, since it's $42.50 a bottle.). In the mood for rose, we purchased a bottle of the reserve and enjoyed it with a charcuterie board. White Horse Winery is dog friendly, imperative since I have a little furry house guest this week. Saturday afternoon we were entertained by singer/guitarist Zac Run. (Zac makes his rounds at restaurants, local wineries and distilleries. He's quite good!) By mid-afternoon the winery was hopping with a birthday gathering and what looked like two bachelorette parties. There's plenty of seating on the porch, inside and on the grounds. I stumbled upon Amore on accident while looking through pictures of a wedding that a friend…read moreattended. Their "winter tree" centerpieces stood out and I knew that I had to contact them for my own wedding. I was wowed at our consultation because Lisa actually LISTENED to what I wanted and was able to bring my vision to life with minimal direction. Everyone in the office was spectacular when I kept calling to add boutonnieres or change drop off locations. Overall, the flowers and centerpieces were absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted. The best part is that Amore is completely affordable! When I found out what friends spent for the same quantity and quality of flowers, I couldn't believe my ears.

Yet I see on their website and social media no mention of this rule. They consider themselves "NJ's most sought and trusted centerpiece rental company", but won't travel within NJ. what you will see, is they go to PA AND DELAWARE THOUGH. All of a sudden Kenisha brings up another gay wedding similar to ours they did. How does she know our wedding is similar? We have not communicated the details, just a generic email based on vibe. And why was is she bringing up a gay wedding to us? Because we are another gay couple? To prove there's no homophobia? What was the point of this?! They are a company full of excuses. In this economy turning down work? They just did not want to work with us from the beginning. This whole interaction was gross.

My son and I were looking for a place to play miniature golf for Father's Day when we found this…read moreplace. I was bummed that we arrived before it opened because I hadn't checked the opening times, but imagine my surprise to discover they leave clubs and balls out for people to play and only charge $5 on the honor system. The course is well maintained and enjoyable and we had a wonderful morning just the two of us playing, the only other people on the property being a few others using the driving range. Looks like they have a nice selection of ice cream, sodas, hotdogs and other stuff at the snack bar too. Great spot! Family friendly and won't put a dent in your wallet either!

The mini golf was fairly well maintained, easy to get started and a lot of fun. It was really affordable compared to most mini golf places in the area. My favorite part was the ice cream stand! Tons of flavors and options, a perfect cap to a round of mini golf! The service was super friendly, they let us try a few flavors before deciding as well. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a quick adventure in mini golf or a swing at the range!
