Booked a Party for our son at the Center. We paid $400 for the party and had to argue and fight the whole time. It is a lot of nickel and dime nonsense. We paid for 32 skaters and had about 16, but they were still trying to charge the adults at the door $5 to come skate even though it was clearly spoken about that they would count towards the 32. We had to monitor the door so our guests weren't charged for something we already paid for. Also the $400 includes $2.50 for roller skate rentals. The in line skates are $3. Instead of telling you they charge your guests $3 at the door for the in line skates, they just do it and act like everyone is being cheap. The woman at the front simply makes up stories as you confront her about it and continues to do it and acts like you are cheap. She is very difficult to deal with. When it is time for pizza even though you paid for 32 people pizza, they do not put it out. They put it out as needed. I would describe them as cheap. We also don't drink Hi-C fruit punch so we asked for a pitcher of water for the kids. They refused. They said they don't do water. When I pressed them harder they said we can use the water fountain. When I asked the woman at the front she said they don't do water. I felt like I was taking crazy pills dealing with these people. I was able to get one little small cup of water at a time because the gal behind the counter felt bad for us. After all that I got the final bill with all the little BS add on fees they don't tell you about for your party. I paid it with my credit card and she asked me if I wanted to give a tip for the staff. I said no, she said why not. I explained to her that they refused to give us water and were extremely difficult to deal with. I gave the girl at the counter some cash because I know she isn't involved and just works there. The woman at the front kept pressing me for a tip. She treated me as cheap, but it was the same way I felt her treating me when I walked in the door and had to hold her to the agreement. It is one thing to pay $400 for a party, it is another thing to have to deal with this woman and her techniques the entire time. If the owners of the rink ever read this, please review your policies. Please disclose up front to people booking parties that none of the things are included even though you pay for them. Please let us know you plan on charging our guests on top of us paying for them Please allow people to have water from the faucet or at least tell us you won't and to bring our own. Please know that the woman you have at the front treats people in a way that is degrading. It is a shame. This is such a cool concept to still have roller skating alive... could be so much better with some little simple changes. No one likes to be lied to and no one likes feeling cheap when spending so much on a kids party. We did not have a good experience and we won't be back. read more

I love Young's Skating Center in South Jersey. They offer a freeze game with a prize for three wins, and you can choose between roller blades and roller skates. They have three height options for training wheels, even accommodating adults. The cost is around $10, including skates. There's $10 minimum for credit card transactions. The $4 fee for trainers is quite reasonable. With free parking and a not-too-crowded atmosphere, it's perfect for beginners. You can opt to buy drinks either from the vending machines or the food stand. This location truly rekindled the joy of childhood for me, especially during moments of happiness. The drawback is that it's not in proximity to a mall or restaurants and you definitely need a car to get there. Overall, I would consider returning in the future. read more

they don't know how to manage staff and they lost so many shoes one night. can't control the kids and are unsanitary. they have mice and roaches in the bathroom. they treat their employees and clients terribly. they locked people out and wouldn't let them in. and one of the staff members quit while working and created chaos and lost lots of people's shoes. very disrespectful and there is never a night without trouble here. the one worker the beanie molests children and is very creepy. this isn't the first time i have heard this either. do not give them buisness read more

It's absolutely ridiculous that I had to pay to walk in the door and sit on a bench to watch my kid. I did not skate. Your ripping people off that way and I will not be back to your establishment. read more
