This has been a family favorite for many many years. The owners are so lovely and friendly. We visit throughout they year and they are always there, and always with a smile on their faces. We love the chocolate shoppe!

The ice cream here is solid. I came with my husband and ordered a banana split with vanilla, strawberry, and one of the coffee flavors (the name slips my mind), but all of them were delicious. The ice cream was not icy, but it was hard-packed, and I wish it was softer. Also, I wish they had crushed peanuts as a topping, but they only had walnuts, almonds, or pecans. Overall, I would come again. I really liked the cheekiness of the decor and the names of some of the flavors. It's a chain, but it has a family feel. The owners were friendly, and the place was clean.

There is never a dull moment getting Chocolate Shoppe ice cream. The flavors from chocolate shoppe are so good and you can never go wrong. We don't mind paying a bit extra for quality. The owners at this location are so nice and always smiling. The place isn't overly large but it has smoke y dining area and a small area outside for eating. They usually have pop music playing but not too loud.

We picked up a quart each of a couple of our Chocolate Shoppe favorites - zanzibar chocolate and strawberry. This was our first visit to this particular store and it is totally independent of the same named Chocolate Shoppe in Edison Park. Current pricing here is $10.60 per quart and that's a healthy discount (about 25%) from Edison Park. Anita is the friendly owner here and Govind is her friendly husband. They've been at it for 11 years and they'll likely be there behind the counter when you arrive. Unlike Edison Park, they do accept credit cards (yaay!), but they don't give you free cones for the asking, they don't have the rewards program of buy 7 get the 8th free, and they don't have the snazzy themed and rotating decor here. But again, they do charge significantly less. The ice cream is the same great premium quality sourced from Wisconsin, and so there you have the story.

This place is so cute and the ice cream here is smooth and delicious. I had the Oreo and Serious flavor and I couldn't get to the second flavor because they are generous with the scoops. I couldn't eat it in once sitting but both were amazing! The owner was really nice and had great energy!

Is ice cream from Wisconsin better? I had a scoop of Heaps of Love and it was delicious! I cant wait to try another flavor. Customer service was just as good.

Govind and Anita were great. There are so many flavors. Because of covid they don't have frozen yogurt but that doesn't matter to much to us. The fudge is amazing they sell it by the pound.

Expecting a long wait, I was pleasantly surprised that while I was asked to pull to the side, my wait was only 5-6 minutes. I ordered a combo meal and when I got home my food was still hot. The burger was as good as I remembered! Fresh, quality beef and prepared exactly how I requested. I upgraded to the Parmesan truffle fries and while they tasted great, TBJ still cannot seem to make crisp French fries. They were again soggy as always and very disappointing. I remember my daughter loving their burgers/patty melts and always telling me to skip the fries. They really need to work on that. For a $16 combo meal I would expect better. (My Diet Pepsi was great.) Ha ha ha

The fries were still warm (though a little soggy) when I arrived at my destination (abt five minutes). I do love skin-on fries though, and I enjoyed them. The burger was ok -- not hot, not really warm either, a little too much sauce. I am willing to try again but I'll probably have to eat in the restaurant. Good customer service though -- friendly staff -- and I am pleased that they included a large stack of napkins and container of ketchup, even without me asking.

But lately I've been getting the Atlantic cod dinner or the Walleye dinner. The nice lady behind the counter took my order for the 2 piece cod dinner and handed me a number. The place was packed and I found a table and waited. The dining area is large but felt small with so many people. I received my order and dug in. The fish was fresh and hot, tasted like it just was made. The fish was flaky and crispy. I love the tartar sauce that they give you. With a squeeze of lemon and malt vinegar the fish is so good that I wish I would have gotten the 3 piece dinner. The cole slaw was creamy with a good crunch. The French fries were really good. The roll wasn't as fluffy this time around and didn't get any butter. But, I'm lazy and didn't want to get up, so I dipped my roll in the tartar sauce, not bad. I left full and happy. I have to go back for the walleye before it disappears.

I came here several times and I don't know why I didn't do a review until now however, this most recent visit on a Friday during lent was absolutely fantastic. The lady working at the register behind the counter was so super friendly and helpful. She made me aware of so many different combinations and options of what you can do with a simple two-piece fish platter that comes with two side sides. For example, I didn't know you could even change out the sides, let alone app for the premium size or even forfeit some of the sides. I usually eat at Culver's on Fridays during lent and this is the first time anyone's ever told me all the possible options, which was mind-boggling While it might be a little overwhelming, I will say it was great to even realize that there were any options to begin with She had the most bubbly, friendly personality, absolute patience to even explain all of these things to us and then to take our order and get it right who knew? Anyhow, she is great whoever trained her was fantastic and whoever hired her definitely saw her ability to do well at this job. She clearly likes people she likes communicating and being helpful. I like Culver's overall not just for fish but also for the cheese curds and the sandwich sandwiches. This is a solid go to for fast food when I have to choose fast food.

Banana Pudding Bundt Cake made with Nilla: Nothing Bundt Cakes (NBC) Banana Pudding Bundt Cake was…read morefirst introduced in 2025, but its limited run from 2/16-4/12/26 was my first tasting. Opening the container, the cake itself had a yellow/golden color and a mild vanilla aroma. The official description is "a delectably comforting banana cake, baked with real banana puree, made with real Mini Nilla Wafers and drizzled with vanilla pudding" (and of course their delicious, sweet cream cheese frosting). As usual, the texture is superb, with one of the best aspects of their cakes being the exceptional moistness of them. In this case, I think the pudding and possibly banana puree contributes to the moistness factor as this seemed moister than usual (in a good way). This is where things get a little perplexing. The name "Banana Pudding" makes me think that the pudding would be banana flavored, but according to the description, the pudding is vanilla and the batter is what's made with bananas. My taste buds only got a vanilla flavor from both the pudding and the cake though (zero banana). There was a fair amount of vanilla pudding in the center, but both the pudding drizzled on the exterior and in the center is difficult to see with the naked eye. The Nilla Wafers were crisp, but soft. I can't really hold this against NBC because unless eaten immediately after prep it's almost impossible to keep them crisp. It's also important to note that the wafers were baked throughout the cake and not just the conspicuous one decorating the summit. Unfortunately, the Nilla Wafers do not really contribute anything as the overall flavor is already vanilla and the soft texture gets lost within the moistness of the cake. This one is tough because it was a phenomenal vanilla pudding bundt cake, but it's a terrible banana cake. They really should be calling it Vanilla Pudding Bundt Cake made with Nilla. Doughboy approved as a vanilla pudding cake, avoid if you're hoping for bananas. Doughboy_Food_Reviews My top bundt cakes: 1. OREO 2. Biscoff Cookie Butter 3. Confetti 4. Churro Dulce de Leche 5.
