My excitement started fading quickly after I arrived to pick up my order. You see, I was disappointed in myself because I was almost 20 minutes late. I was worried about the freshness of my order. I waited in the line marked "order pick up" noticing that my sandwiches were sitting on the counter. After being ignored by all 4 employees for over 5 minutes (including 1 that was standing within 3 feet of me) I said something to get some attention. She politely explained that the fries just went down. What? I thought to myself. It was supposed to be ready 20 minutes ago. Oh well, at least the fries will be fresh, and it was, after all, partially my fault for being late. However, the Cheesesteak with extra steak and cheese will soon be a block of cheese just sitting there on the counter. What I didn't understand is why I was still waiting after the fries had finished cooking. All I could think of what that cheesesteak sitting on the counter. Another 5 minutes passed before I approached the counter again. The employee stepped up and explained that "it is almost ready." I said those fries are almost ready? Pointing to the full bin of fries that they just filled an order out of. She said nothing, turned around, finally filled my order, then turned back to me and explained that she had "forgotten all about me. I was 1 of only 2 people in the place at the time of that comment. At least she was telling the truth. The entire time I was in there I felt ignored and forgotten. Two ladies waiting on their order made it clear to me that they felt the same way....... Finally home and time to unveil the sandwiches and eat. The Grilled Turkey Provolone is described as "Oven-roasted turkey breast, provolone, lettuce, Roma tomato YOUR CHOICE: mayo, spicy brown mustard, honey mustard." I guess they misspelled the words "Your Choice" because it should have read "Their Choice." I say that because they decided to leave the lettuce and roma tomato off the sandwich entirely. While I was waiting for my order a guy came back in the store with his bag because his order was also wrong. They had given him toppings he asked to leave off. I think anything but meat and cheese confuses this crew. Toppings seem to be where they struggle. As mentioned above, I ordered extra steak and extra cheese on my sub. I had to look for the steak in this roll of bread. Glad I ordered extra because regular amounts would have led to a bread sandwich with the smell of steak at best. I have been to Penn Stations in four different states, and they were all consistent. Until this one. I don't even recognize this as Penn Station. If you would have handed me that Cheesesteak without me knowing where it was from and told me it was Penn Station, I'd have called you a liar. Disappointing meal to say the least. The service was terrible, and the quality control was nowhere to be found. This all points to a subpar staff which is usually caused by lack of training from poor management. This place is newly opened, and they need to get it together fast or it will be quickly closed.

Most people are coming straight from the bike park -- very casual and often with kids -- yet The Pearl has a fine dining atmosphere with classical music, cloth napkins, and a polished, upscale feel. It's a beautiful space, but many families (including ours) had kids who weren't quite ready for a full sit-down experience, and this was the only food option available. A more casual option nearby, like a sports bar, would make a lot of sense for this location. As for the food, we had mixed experiences. First of all, the menu was ginormous! I feel like they would have done better with a smaller range of options so that they could perfect the offerings. My husband didn't enjoy the chipotle chicken tacos (they were on the spicy side) but I loved the seasonal lobster bisque and the wedge salad with added chicken. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was good and served with thick pita bread triangles. Kids meals were $10 and came with a good side and drink, which felt fair. Desserts looked great, but we didn't order any this time. Overall, good food and a beautiful restaurant -- just a slightly unexpected fit for the bike park crowd.

No "I'm sorry about that" , nothing. Sandwich was remade and again the box was filthy. That must be this locations signature. Sandwich was ok at best. I ate half and threw the rest away. Will not be back. Will not recommend to others.

Early '90s couple of former firefighters in Jacksonville Florida decided the branch off into the sandwich chain. Originally started in the Jacksonville area franchise quickly but it didn't go very good and they bought back all the locations. They would try a different marketing angle bringing in a investment group and the different kind of expansion. Because I am a huge fan of corned beef and pastrami. One of these times I'll try a different sandwich one time allows and one of their salads this is a nice location.. it's an easy walk from the truck stop a few extra steps but it's okay very clean. The staff are very nice. Everything was very well presented and I enjoyed my food very much so this visit here and review gets four stars definitely above average for sure in my opinion.

To pass the time, we went to Walmart and returned about 27 minutes after the initial order was placed. Upon arriving, the staff at the front offered no greeting, no smile, and no sense of hospitality. Their demeanor made it clear that customers were more of an inconvenience than a priority. When I asked where to pick up my order, I was simply pointed toward the bar. I gave my name to the bartender, who also offered no greeting or acknowledgment beyond taking my name and money. At this point, I waited another 11 minutes (all verified with maps history). Meanwhile, my teenage kids were sitting in the car in the heat and humidity. I had turned the car off because I never expected a "15-20 minute" order to turn into a 37+ minute ordeal. I eventually had to leave just to restart the car so they wouldn't be sitting in unbearable conditions. When I returned, another employee asked for my name again, and only then, a few minutes later, was my order finally brought out. The most frustrating part? The restaurant was not busy. Staff members were standing around, and the hosts appeared more focused on their phones at times, than on the customers in front of them. As for the pizzas: the good news is they use real mozzarella and the sauce had good bold flavor. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. Portions of both pizzas were missing cheese and toppings, and the crust was noticeably undercooked. After an excessive wait, poor service, and obvious lack of urgency, it is hard to understand how the food itself still missed the mark. For the high prices, this experience was nowhere near worth the price. My takeaway: save your money. Perhaps this was just an unusually bad day, but first impressions matter, and this one was terrible. When a business shows so little regard for customer service or the customer experience, it raises serious concerns about leadership and management. Employees typically reflect the standards of those who hire and lead them, and this experience said a lot. Quite honestly, unless management makes significant changes to its approach, I do not believe this business will last another year. It says a lot when my entire family would rather have Little Caesars, and for the same price, we could get six pizzas, instead of two here. That comparison alone should be a serious wake-up call.

I also got a large strawberry lemonade. When they handed it to me I laughed and said wow you guys weren't kidding about a large. It was probably about a 32 ounce container. So I would definitely come back!
