The second call, we were trying to order and got to a roll the worker didn't recognize and we were like okay, just the others. We pull in 2 minutes before they close, only to discover the phoneline had cut out again and they didn't have our order at all. We talked for a minute realizing there had been a misunderstanding on both sides. That Roll we were trying to order? We were looking at a menu for another restaurant with the same name. The guy offered to make us some rolls, and we said no because clearly they were trying to clean up and get out of there. He ended up making us some rolls anyway! He probably doesn't know it but he absolutely saved our night and kept an hour drive from being wasted. These folx were so kind, went above and beyond, and the food was GOOD. They use crispy pork belly instead of sliced Chasu, which was different but very good, rich in flavor with a bit of a crunch that added a nice contrast in texture from a standard ramen. My egg yolk was still soft, maybe slightly over done by 20 or so seconds but still very good. I didn't try any of the sushi rolls, my wife prefers rolls where I prefer nigiri, and couldn't finish my ramen I was soo full since this was technically our second meal of the night - and I really liked the tonkotsu broth. Service was quick, and was checked on multiple times, fast on drink refills. It's very trendy feeling, with Japanese Anime being projected on the wall. I will be back to try more offerings - they show bluefin otoro on the menu and I'm a sucker for some fatty tuna - haven't seen that one anyone's menu around Knoxville so I'm excited to come back and give it a try.
