At least in the Ludlow/Springfield area...because I've been to two and they were both ducks. quack quack. I went in feeling a little skeptical, but there wasn't much of a variety of local foot doctors. Walking in there, the receptionist gave me a dirty look...I don't know, maybe that's just the way her face is. haha, but I said I had an appt and she said the doctor would be out shortly...she seemed very nonchalant. I think it's because I look young, and therefore am clueless. I know this is no one's fault, but the doctor has weird eyes. the whole time he was talking to me, I could sense he was looking at my face, but his eyes were staring at my chest. It makes me feel awkward when people talk to me and don't give me eye contact. I know he probably can't help it but if you're going to deal with people everyday, get corrective eye surgery or something. That might be mean, but isn't a sign that doubtfulness or lying can be correlated with lack of eye contact? Plus, every time I would ask him a question, he seemed very unsure of what he was talking about. He couldn't give me a definite answer. It was more like, "Will you live with an infected toenail? Who's to say?" Doctors are people you should trust...and if they know as much as you, it's like having your friend take a look at your body and hack away. Probably the only thing I liked about the first doctor I went to was that they put a curtain in front of me so I couldn't see the grossness of my toe. This doctor put it all in front of me...but I didn't look. I'd rather not see my toe bleeding, thank you. And he told me I could go to work the next day, when the first doctor told me to stay off my foot for a few days. And my toe isn't completely healed. He seemed surprised that it was getting worse (ahem, you just charged me like 100 dollars to just look at my toe and not do anything to it). There's no pain, but it doesn't look healthy like the other toe. He even made me get bloodwork done but it came back as not infected. Then a week later, he has to operate on it because it got infected? They couldn't tell me why you get an ingrown toenail or ways to prevent it, but I could find out all that information from a pamphlet waiting in the office? He got a lot of plaques and diplomas from colleges which made me feel secure about him, but when I finally had the experience, I was not impressed. A diploma is just a piece of paper saying you graduated, but it doesn't really determine how good you are at what you do. I'm sorry but if you're in Ludlow with foot problems, I'd suggest looking somewhere else. :/

I work in the medical field so I used to how offices treat you like another number; in and out. Hampden Podiatry is completely different. Dr. Vomero was pleasant, talkative and knowledgable. He explained in detail what I should expect and what other alternatives were available. I decided on surgery. I had my right foot done first (in march) and am now recovering from my left. My recoveries have been textbook. I should also add that Dr. Vomero calls you at home to check on you and sits with you before and after the procedure. He gets to know you personally and genuinely cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone in need of foot care.

He's an excellent Dr. ! knows his stuff, and has been in his business for many yrs. and is excellent! Thank you for being there Dr. C. and making my orthotics, and giving me Cortisone shots , when i really needed for my foot. Dr. C. opened his doors once on a Friday, to see me.! i couldn't believe it.. he was not opened i think these are the days he's usually not there... thank you dr. C.

He does the job that is asked of him by me, but the negative, very rude attitude is consistent in every appointment. I really hope that other patients do not have to endure the same mean, offensive attitude that I have had to endure with this man. For that reason, I will attempt to not have to go back to his office for treatment, just because I've never met such an unnecessarily mean doctor. I do not recommend going to him unless there is no other option for you. In that case, I hope you have thick skin to deal with this man's offensive attitude.

Had to go outside Adult Medicine to make a PCP change because Adult Medicine staff would rather…read moreinvest extra energy in making it difficult. A nice woman in Peds made the change and it took only a minute. Candace had repeatedly put me on hold just to tell me to call insurance AGAIN, purposely ignoring me and interrupting me when I repeatedly attempted to tell her that I already called insurance twice (they couldn't help because TRINITY needed to correct a coding on their end). Because of her and other nasty Adult Medicine staff, I had to drive over there to get basic help and it only took someone in the Peds Department a minute. There are plenty of bad reviews on Google about how rude some of the Adult Medicine staff are. I am no longer willing to tolerate it. We shouldn't have to. What ever happened to just doing your job? Don't like that? Healthcare is not for you.

I made another appointment, and she was scolding me for not doing my stretches. I went to NEOS , and they couldn't even believe it! Recently went back for neck pain, and she was acting like a drill Sargent! She bashed my dentist for his diagnosis approximately 4 times. She kept throwing question after question at me, and I felt like a child. She stopped and just stares in my face. This lady is horrible, and I have never felt to uncomfortable in my life. She never greets you, never says anything just walks out. If I wasn't in a full panic attack when I left I would of told her off. She absolutely has no respect, or dignity. Shame on Luciann.

She opted to test for Covid and the flu which is understandable. The tests both came back negative and I stated I would need antibiotics because it's the only thing that works or I'll get worse. She said that I should simply rest and it'll run its course. Not listening to her patient caused me to get pneumonia and now I'm out of work again with worse symptoms way more pills to take all because they won't give antibiotics or listen to their patients.

I was assigned to Katlyn Lavin PA-C. My initial visit seemed fine but a little off. The nurse in charge of taking my initital vitals was pleasant enough, even though she seemed a bit unsure of herself. When she attempted to take my temperature she explained that the thermometer was a "bit temperamental". She was unable to make it work and said we would get back to that. Although we never did. Also, in taking a basic eye test, they made me stand in a hall with one eye covered reading letters off a chart. Seems easy enough. Except, at least 3 people walked down the same narrow hall which was incredibly distracting. All of that could be overlooked if the rest was consistent, but far from it. I had several blood tests taken as well as an EKG. I was told that if anything was off with the results, the doctor would call. I was also asked to make an appointment for the following week to have a Holter monitor attached for 48 hours. While speaking to the woman at the front desk, she asked if I needed an appointment card. i did not as I had entered it in my phone. When I showed up Monday, no one had put me in the books. Perhaps, they need to make their own appointment cards. After only a short wait (once again, this makes sense now), my monitor was put in place and then I was handed an appointment for a specialist in Springfield. I was told my blood results were not back yet, they were setting up a total of 3 appointments with different specialists for varying conditions. I am all for being cautious, but this seemed completely peculiar as I just had the monitor put on AND, the PA still had not called. 2 days later, I returned the monitor. Katlyn was not in the office and my blood results still weren't in. This was a week after the "2-3 day" window they had initially told me it would take. Funnily enough, when I opened my mail 2 hours later, my blood results were there with some pretty shocking news. News that the Dr. or PA or whomever was supposed to call me with. I called for 2 days in a row to ask questions. Stacey told me Katlyn was with other patients and she would hand deliver the messages. No reply. But I keep getting mail from the appointments set up from specialists. This seems to be a practice that treats patients like a Production Line. Don't waste your time as they clearly won't waste theirs.
