So I figured I better get it looked at. I heard such good things about Enders so I decided to give them a call. Rich answered and I explained what I was dealing with. He said they could get me in to look at it that day! Once there and after they inspected it, Rich had good news. It was only a crack and they could repair it with a piece of new pipe. (YES!! I didn't need a whole new muffler or exhaust system!) He gave me the price which was WAY under what I thought it would be - completely do-able - and he said it would take about 40 min., they had to order the pipe from the local part store. People - it didn't even take 10 min before the pipe was walking through the door. They repaired the exhaust system quickly and even took off the rusty hitch when I asked them to - and didn't charge me for it! To the ladies out there having to take on car maintenance by them selves, let me just say - these guys are the real deal. They are honest, kind and just all around wonderful. They are not transparent with their total costs with customers. They go over individual line items…read morefor recommended services and have a parts cost included to add a bit more confusion. I provided feedback that total cost should be outlined after the recommended services are accepted so the customer can have a clear picture of the cost (which would include labor) to prevent any misconception of cost - as a second chance to make sure everything was understood. I was met with resistance from their Operations Services Manager implying we didn't look in the right spot but why didn't they say - this is going to cost this based on what you're accepting - he didn't agree and said that wasn't part of their protocol. I took full responsibility for misunderstanding but said they can be more obvious and clear about total end cost when folks are accepting recommended repairs - this feedback was not accepted. So make sure you're asking total cost (looking at the far right side of the quote sheet) and ask for the complete total cost of all the repairs because they are NOT going to offer that to you unless asked. But they'll say afterward they did tell you that or were shown the information but you got to make sure you look at the right column. I won't be back and hopefully this prevents someone from getting surprised at the total cost when they're paying.

I knew he was in route but he should have called, rang the door bell, or knocked on the door to introduce himself before starting the job. I heard noises so I went outside and I introduced myself to him. He told me the hole was in one place which turned out to be true but I initially told him the hole was in a different place which also turned out to be true which he finally agreed.
