The parking was fine but maybe needed some clarity as there was a restaurant and post office adjacent to the lot. It's a gravel lot basically with no clear signage. Not a big issue but FYI. There's a handful of places to visit within walking distance for eating and shopping. Very small town feel. Inside the office, the receptionist welcomed me and was new but friendly and professional. She helped me get set up on the app (still a work in progress) and gave me a quick tour. The big main spaces were already reserved but the phone booth space was adequate to my needs. The internet speed was decent but there was no ethernet cable for direct connection. The common kitchen area was clean and beverages were available as well as small snacks. Terry, the director for the space, was very helpful in troubleshooting issues with billing and reservations. Pricing was also reasonable for a one-day pass. Military veteran pricing is available. If I came to the city more often, I'd get a subscription because it's very close and isn't overcrowded like some co-working spaces.

We went to Holland in Mt. Holly for a birthday dinner and had a great experience. The vibes and…read moreatmosphere of the restaurant were really enjoyable, and it wasn't too busy on a Friday night with our 6:30 PM reservation. Our waiter was very friendly, constantly checking on us and keeping our drinks refilled. We ordered the lettuce wraps, Korean BBQ wings, grilled shrimp, filet mignon, spare ribs, and crème brûlée. Everything had great taste and flavor. The Korean BBQ wings and grilled shrimp had a really nice kick to them. Our bill came to about $130 for all the food (we only drank water), which felt fair for the quality and amount we ordered. You should definitely give it a try--we'll definitely be back!

The service was fine but our server was frazzled. It seemed they were light staffed, and it took a while to get our order and our drinks (which we could see sitting in the well). The food- the appetizers- they were great! Would eat the shrimp, crab dip and Brussels again. Shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, as were the Brussels. The entrees - not so much. Essentially everyone was eating raw, cold meat. Our one friend said the short rib was fine, but needed salt. Everyone else got some type of steak that was woefully underdone (as in we ordered medium, and got it flash seared). One friend described it as just chewy, raw meat. We also got a side of asparagus, and they were the saddest stalks I had ever seen - pale and mushy - and maybe 6 stalks for $8 - not worth it. After the food came, we couldn't find our server, but there was also a wedding party coming in to the upper space. Overall, I think they bit off more than they could chew that evening, and we were left chewing on undercooked meat and sad sides.

It has been 8 months since our wedding & am still haunted by what transpired. I too had a similar experience as the other reviewer but instead of cutting ties when I should've, I gave her the benefit of the doubt by letting her plan our wedding. I had bad experiences with a couple of other vendors that she highly recommended, which I know wonder if she contributed to that. I felt like she told us one thing and them something else. The warning signs were there but I trusted her. After all, she did this for a living. She was completely unorganized. So much so that I had to hire a friend who was a retired Project Manager @ BOA to help with the wedding planning. Till this day, our Save The Dates are nowhere to be found. She claimed to have mailed it out twice but no one has ever seen them. The week of the wedding was not what I had planned. I stayed up several hours w/ very little sleep working on the day of schedule & stressing out about whether or not my Planner knew what she was doing.. The rehearsal was a mess, which caused a delay on everything that day. We were extremely behind schedule on the day of the wedding and she was nowhere to be seen except for when I arrived at the church. Looking back, I wished we wouldn't have gone cheap on the wedding planner & hired someone w/ more experience to handle our wedding. The only positive thing I can say is that her design skills are great but it came with a cost. Needless to say, our budget quadrupled by the time our wedding was over b/c she lured us into thinking we could get glam at a discounted price. Brides to be, let me tell you - there's no such thing!

She booked another…read morewedding on my day a month after I booked with her (after she specifically told me she didn't). Even her mom told a guest at my wedding 'my daughter spread herself too thin'. We went way over budget, she was MIA 80% of the time. I had to start all communication with her. Always had to talk about her life for her to respond to any of my questions. She adopted a baby 3 weeks before my wedding, which is her business, but then FOUR DAYS before my wedding that she wouldn't be there because.... she had a 3 week old. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! A bride is beyond stressed and you should really let them know of any surprises as early as possible, but she waited until the very last minute. Infuriating. She doesn't ever know what she's talking about, always late and should not be in this business! I should've fired her when I had the chance, but atleast now maybe I can stop another bride from her trauma. Do not hire her!!!! Ps- most of the 5 star reviews on her pages aren't real brides. She's just trying to overcompensate for the terrible reviews that she gets... like mine!
