    Cabinet that doesn't close.

The cleanliness of the building. The professionalism and courteousness of the staff. I will not stay here again and will not recommend anyone else stay here.

Gross stuff stuck down my drain in my second room. Looks alike a toothbrush and what I thought was a bandaid but honestly idk.

I had a pretty unfortunate stay here. My first room for my first night had a broken AC. This is an issues for many reasons. It's in the 80's-90's. I run very hot. So I went down to the front desk to get it figured out. They were sold out. And no one was there to look at the AC. A worker named Terry came to my room and basically told me I was dumb. He said my room wasn't hot. The AC was working and it would just take time to cool down. Well that is not true. My coworker's room was right next to mine and was cool. They were not having my issue. Terry was just rude to me the entire day. We had more issues but that's not really worth adding. Luckily my second night I was able to get a new room. A room that actually has a working AC. It was a smaller room but honestly I couldn't care less. I just needed AC. My first room didn't have a phone in it so I had to either go downstairs to get things done or try and call on my cell phone. My second room had stuff down the drain that was very gross. (See picture) Anyway I will never be staying here again.

Disappointing stay. Toilet was running, fridge not working and disgusting mildew in bath tub. Disgraced the Hampton Inn name.

It was raining extremely heavily and they closed the side door of the Hotel; - So, by the time I reached the front of the Hotel - to begin waiting on the Check in Line - I was drenched. I felt terrible for the young man that was checking everyone in. Guests, were primarily misfits with poor credit. People on the line were demanding Extra Cots in their rooms and would proceed to share their life stories with the young clerk - mind you; I want to go on the record and tell you what a gentleman he was. Roaming crowds of Prepubescent Energetic Girls ran through the hallways and occupied the pool area. I was terrified to take a dip in the pool. I'm just going to go on record and tell you - overall my room was essential outdated and filthy. Nothing luxurious about this place. I had requested a Handicapped Room and these were all taken up and I took extra care not to slip and dislocate my neck - exiting the shower. Why L-rd? Limited selection of items, the following morning, at the Breakfast Buffet which was packed with an overzealous crowd of eclectics. This Hotel is the furthest thing from luxury - But, in the end - I'm grateful for the shelter and the kindness of the Clerk who was forced to deal with guests who had overspent their credit cards. What an experience? Oh beautiful for spacious skies, I won't be relocating to this section of American anytime soon.

I ask what was going on and she said it was a class reunion from New York. I took the dog out at 1020 PM and the party was going strong there was no way to talk. I managed to catch a desk worked in the hall to ask when the party will be over as your "quiet hours" policy says "1030 PM-0700 AM". He said "the DJ will stop at 1100 and the party should be over at 1130" Seems that your "policy" was not in play that night and your "Manager" was enjoying the party so much the comfort of the non-party guests was not a concern. I took the dog out at 0130 AM and the music was loud and the bar area, pool, lobby was packed with intoxicated people that had spilled out into the front drop off area. It's not always fun to have drunk people trying to talk to you at 0130 in the morning when you just want to get your dog back inside. I would never stay here again or suggest this place to anyone that may want to use the bar/pool/lobby. It was hard to know which people were guest or "management" as they blended in so well, I guess they were enjoying the party and not much concern for the other paying guests that were just looking for peace and quiet. This hotel is not for families or anyone looking for a relaxing night.

I asked could I get a room close to the elevator as I was disabled. They said of course except the elevator was out of service and has been since April according to other long term stay clients I spoke with there and the staff confirmed as well. I had to walk to the back of the hotel. The room was very run down. The wall paper is peeling in the hallways and rooms. The carpet is filthy and needs deep cleaning as it's stained. The room had severe worn couch that you could not sit on without you and the metals springs being intimately introduced. The cushions have been worn out for years I would assume as they were flat. The mattresses were old worn out was the supporting platform boxspring. My pictures will tell the rest of the story and I will be sure to next time call Hilton before I stay at a place so worn down and beaten. The staff knows the issues but no one is giving the the right personnel to fix things. The maintenance staff dress like bums with paint stained clothing and unkempt. They had USB ports in the lamps, but it's 2026, who's still using those older USB plugs like that? That alone was frustrating. To be fair, the room itself was clean, but stepping outside into the hallway was a different story. There was what looked like the craziest stain in the carpet, not fresh, but clearly the aftermath of a rough night for somebody. The wild part is we had to walk past it for five days, so whatever cleaning happened clearly didn't fully take care of it. On top of that, the hallways had a light marijuana smell that lingered throughout the building. They do have a pool, but it had to be drained twice during our stay. It also didn't help that kids were running around unaccompanied, not just in the pool, but also in the gym, which ended up getting trashed too. And honestly, calling it a pool is being generous. It's just big enough to qualify, and even then it feels like the bare minimum, closer to a kiddie pool than anything worth using. Now let's talk breakfast, because this one was all over the place. Day one: sausage, oatmeal, boiled eggs. Day two: scrambled eggs and dry turkey sausage. Day three: scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, corned beef hash. By day five, I just skipped it. And yes, there were waffles every day if that's your thing, but I don't eat those. Honestly, I don't understand why they couldn't just keep it simple, eggs, potatoes, and a meat. Some of the options felt random, and at times, the food just wasn't good. One thing I will give them, the staff was great. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and check-in was quick and smooth. That was easily the best part of the stay. The location is solid too, right by a mall and plenty of food options, which made things convenient. Overall, for the price, it wasn't terrible, but I'd definitely pay a little more next time to stay somewhere else. It didn't ruin the trip, but it also didn't feel like a true Marriott experience. Definitely a one and done for me.

I was warmly greeted by their team at check in and was in my room in no time. Room was clean and comfortable and pretty quiet considering how close we were to the interstate. Interestingly, liners were staged for use in trash cans but not in the cans. Even more interesting is the inability to connect to their wifi. Not too big of a deal as I had nothing pressing to take care of, but as a Bonvoy member I was unable to access despite my credentials. To be fair, I realize internet services may have been impacted by SC tornadoes spawned by Hurricane Helene. Breakfast was abundant and good. Eggs, sausage, sweet waffles and other items made the meal good and satisfying. The best part of the stay? The SpringHill Suites Team! Cheerful and accommodating! I'd return to this property.
