Arrived 30 July 530 pm. Lobby overrun with people and loud music making it hard for the only check in person to do her job. We had to yell just to communicate. I ask what was going on and she said it was a class reunion from New York. I took the dog out at 1020 PM and the party was going strong there was no way to talk. I managed to catch a desk worked in the hall to ask when the party will be over as your "quiet hours" policy says "1030 PM-0700 AM". He said "the DJ will stop at 1100 and the party should be over at 1130" Seems that your "policy" was not in play that night and your "Manager" was enjoying the party so much the comfort of the non-party guests was not a concern. I took the dog out at 0130 AM and the music was loud and the bar area, pool, lobby was packed with intoxicated people that had spilled out into the front drop off area. It's not always fun to have drunk people trying to talk to you at 0130 in the morning when you just want to get your dog back inside. I would never stay here again or suggest this place to anyone that may want to use the bar/pool/lobby. It was hard to know which people were guest or "management" as they blended in so well, I guess they were enjoying the party and not much concern for the other paying guests that were just looking for peace and quiet. This hotel is not for families or anyone looking for a relaxing night. read more

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially for a group working over the holiday weekend. We got extra towels, the front desk receptionist remembered my request from the day before and checked in on me. Another front desk receptionist helped us with our day time excursion. Staff can make or break a business, and the staff at Aloft definitely do well for their property. We have traveled all over the world, stayed in a lot of hotels, the room could be amazing & the staff horrible & that is what will be remembered. Or the room could be horrible & staff amazing, so you "suffer" through the room if it's a one night stay. You remember how people treat you, and the entire staff that we came in contact with, from beginning to end were fabulous. We made a last minute reservation because our grandchild arrived 2 weeks early so wasn't sure what to expect. We encountered a problem with our first room, happened to mention it as we went out to get our bags, we were promptly moved to another room without even having to ask. A lot of properties would have been "too bad, so sad", and went on about their day. Not at Aloft, they want you to be happy. All check-in staff: 100%. Bartender, he was great: 100% We didn't encounter housekeeping, wish trash had been emptied, towels replaced, during our 3 night stay but we got some towels at desk. We stayed at the Aloft after traveling here for some business in the area. I personally love Aloft's because the brand is super pet-friendly, but also they all always have an amazing bar to relax at after a long day out. Both check-in and check-out were super easy and fast, the room was very clean, and when we needed extra towels we got them immediately with no wait. We opted for the included breakfast rate and the sandwiches and wraps they had were very good to get our day started. Their cold brew coffee is also amazing, and it was an added plus that they offered oat milk. Highly recommend this hotel if ever in the area. read more

Michelle at this location gets a five for getting us through this..I really did a poor job of reservations as our trip changed, but, she stepped up, corrected my error (along with my daughter). She was definitely the star of the show.Now on to the facility and rest of staff. This is the ugliest place I have ever stayed. The hallways make you feel like you are being dragged into a dungeon. Add the unmatched very ugly drapery over the lighting above and it feels like you are entering an unsafe safe. Now to the room...the lighting switches are a nightmare for those not in know..it's bright light or no light until you figure out the secret..Again an unsafe feeling..but, when the lights come on you almost wish they didn't..turquoise and navy blue graphic flooring..brown and gray walls and blinds with black, beige and orange stripes..Wth? Looks like a crayon box threw up in there. Location not bad, bedding and pillows were excellent, but, as a visual person it's an uncomfortable environment. This was my first time staying in Aloft. The building itself looked very nice and modern and so did the lobby. The two ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. I couldnt tell from the decor it was going for a modern look or a retro look. For example, there were lots of clean lines with metallic colors, but then the glass at the bar and the coffee machine had pink neon light colors. The room was clean and nice but a little on the small side, which was ok for us this trip. The glass shower was really nice with lots of pressure and we were on the 5th floor. My only two negative comments are the AC in the room didnt work well. It never really go cool in the room. And the walls are pretty think. ... you could hear people and doors in the hallways pretty easily. But it is a nice place in a central location for what we were doing on this trip. read more

I once stayed here when the hotel first arrived to the area. It's been at least three years since my return and I must say overall the stay was pleasant. My main reason for returning was to experience the DJ featured on Saturday nights at 8pm. Well upon arrival, I checked to make sure the DJ was set as scheduled. I arrived close to 6pm and the front desk clerk advised someone has a meeting scheduled a band will perform during the meeting... Well it's 8pm and the DJ is not set nor is he playing music. Returned to the lobby about 9pm and still no DJ playing. Super disappointed. As a result, I never returned to see if the DJ was all set and playing music. A side from this disappoint, the room stay was great. House keeping was a bit slow when the request was made for extra towels and washcloths. Someone arrived after 30 minutes. Breakfast is offered - cost...the hot meals are a bit different than what I am used too...but I did find a salad that I was happy with. Andrea - the clerk on Saturday around 6pm was pleasant and the another clerk - Sunday at checkout around 11 am was pleasant as well. I just wish the DJ was set because I was ready to mix and mingle and go up to the room afterwards. Nevertheless, the hotel offers free parking and there is also a full bar inside. You'll find an outdoor area where smokers are welcome and an indoor pool. This hotel has a nice vibe and I'd say it's more of an adult friendly environment. I'd think twice about bringing children, but I did witness families in and out of the hotel. Hotel surroundings: other hotel chains, shopping including Wal-Mart and Dollar Stores are less than 10 minutes away. Greenbrier Mall is within walking distance but it is located across the super busy Greenbrier Parkway. Eateries are nearby and there is a movie theater within walking distance as well. Worst hotel stay ever. Booked 2 rooms, paid $1500. This hotel is no way a 3-star one. It's dirty everywhere. Furniture in the lobby are leather-like material, and they are very dirty, clearly rarely cleaned or wiped. We booked rooms with free breakfast and the table where we had to sit to wait and eat was dirty, we had to call someone to wipe it clean, and even then she didn't do a good job. We stayed from Saturday to Wednesday and not one single time the housekeeper stepped foot in our rooms to clean, despite seeing a housekeeper roaming around the hallway with her cart. We were told full cleaning day was Tuesday and was asked if we wanted our room cleaned; we answered "yes" but the housekeeper never showed up, not even to replace towels and rags. We only had clean towels on the first night. The second day, housekeeper removed dirty towels from room, left them outside the door, and never came back to pick them up. When we returned to the room after a full day of activities, we were greeted by dirty towels by our door. We were told someone was coming to pick them up, that someone never showed. This happened again. We had to go to the front desk to get clean towels and toilet paper. Our trash accumulated and we had to take them out ourselves for fear of being charged extra for leaving the room dirty, even if their housekeeping service should be taking care of that. You never know. Room doesn't come with an iron but a steamer that is very inconvenient to use. We are working on getting refunded for our stay as we didn't receive anything for the amount we paid. I understand being short-staffed but to charge guests $1500 and no service except for a mediocre bed to sleep on... imagine having to get your own towels and toilet paper from the front desk. When we checked out, the front desk asked us about our stay. We told her all of this. She said she was sorry, and was visibly embarrassed. She said she would have done anything about it but we have to go through Priceline to make things right as we booked our stay on their site. Went through Priceline and were told to go back and contact the hotel as it is a hotel issue. A total rip-off. read more

This hotel is not well kept and it is obvious that it's corporate office and employees don't give a phuck, especially the housekeeping. The hotel is dingy and dirty and a bunch of things are broken. It's like an upscale roach motel where some married guys might brings their ratchet sneaky links during their "work day hours" with $40 and a Burger King drink and meal in tow. I thought that Aloft would be out of my budget but thankfully with my Military discount I was able to get a decent price! This hotel smells clean and decor set up is very cool! The staff were helpful and super nice. Our room was very clean, which I always appreciate. Some issues I ran across were with the TV but that's ok. I found movies to watch that were really good. Another issue was the bathroom light was pretty dim.. all in all, I would definitely stay at Aloft again!! read more

Overall, I really like this hotel. The modern look, clean lines, and minimalistic rooms are perfect for people who are tired of the other hotel chains. The room was absolutely stunning. We had a king bed with two desks on either side of a wall-mounted TV. It would have been nice to have 2 desk chairs instead of just one, but that's just being picky. The room feels very spacious because there isn't unnecessary furniture like big dressers and tv stands. This may sound silly, but I really like the color scheme; bright and vibrant, but not too over the top. BEST PART OF THE ROOM has got to be the number of outlets! I'm not even kidding you; there's one on each desk (one that has 2 USB ports), one on each night stand, one on each wall on the side of the bed, and then one in the bathroom. These guys really know that people have multiple devices and that in other hotels, the struggle is real. The bathroom is laid out very nicely with a sliding door to give the toilet and shower privacy from the sink. The shower had very good water pressure and hot water so that's always a plus too. The seal on the door for the shower isn't the greatest so it allows a lot of water to spray out so make sure you're careful when getting out. In that same area is the "closet" but it's situated weird: only has room for 4 hangers (see attached picture). Also, there's a weird shelf that doesn't seem practical for anything other that skinny alcohol bottles (see attached picture). There's a pretty chill area near the lobby with a pool table, rocking chairs, and a nice bar as well (called w xyz). Another cool thing is that they also have nightly entertainment starting at 8pm. It's nice to go down and chill, but on the downside, you can also hear it in your room as well; not really that great if you're trying to watch something on the tv or trying to concentrate while doing work. Another plus a of the hotel is that it is dog friendly. I sometimes need to bring my dog with me during work travel, so it's really nice they have that. There is plenty of grass around the property (even though you're surrounded by parking lot) to walk Fido. If you book ahead, be sure to try to get ground level to make it easier on yourself: we booked last-minute and we on the second floor so it was just a short elevator ride away. The on-site gym is always a nice plus even though equipment is minimal; at least it is clean. They have a few yoga mats, treadmills, bicycles, ellipticals, and free weights as well as a machine that allows you to select different configurations. There is also a water cooler there too. The indoor pool area seems nice enough but didn't look like anything to write home about. All in all, I would love to stay here again if I'm in the area. My team and I had a two-day business trip in Chesapeake. The pros: 1) Seemingly located in a suburban area of town, Aloft is affordable, clean, and new. My room was furnished with a king size bed, flat screen television, two work desk, one long cushioned bench, sliding bathroom door with full-size mirror, and coffee maker. A complimentary bottle of water, Bliss toiletries, and blow dryer are also provided. 2) The Wi-Fi was incredibly stable and had good reception. I had at least three devices connected during my two-day stay and rarely did any of them disconnect. 3) The bed was perfectly situated directly across from the wall-mounted television, so I had the luxury of working on my laptop in bed while enjoying the 2017 NBA playoff series. 4) Parking is free at a large lot right outside the hotel. 5) The fitness facility is rather small but conveniently located on the first floor where there is also a swimming pool and reading area. Had my stay been extended, I would have made use of all of those facilities. The cons: 1) Aloft does not provide a complimentary hot breakfast. 2) Most restaurants are not within a walking distance but they are also just a short drive away. read more

Ceiling repair, dirty mattress As soon as we opened the door, I was hit w/ a smoke covered w/ perfume smell. (Non smoking room) I immediately pulled back the sheets to looks at the mattress to check for bugs or stains + was shocked! This was my first stay at this particular Aloft hotel. It is very modern in its decor starting with the outside. Plenty of parking. Entrances at front and side of building. The inside lobby area is beautiful and welcoming with a small convenience items area immediately to your right, the bar to your left along with pool tables, and seating. Ice cold lemon water awaits you as soon as you walk in. The staff: Upon check-in I was greeted by Victoria and Rudy. There were a few other guests waiting to check in also. Victoria was super helpful she had answers to every question guests has. Wifi passwords, closest restaurants, things to do. She was ready and I felt that was great customer service! She even had a printed out sheet with restaurants in a 5 mile radius! The room: I included pictures so you get the visual. I was expecting a somewhat cramped small space since it advertises lofts. What I received in room 321 was quite the opposite. Tons of space in the room area, king size bed fit comfortably, spacious walk in shower. There are no dressers only a small curtain area as soon as you walk in to store clothing. A little more storage space or a few dressers here would be great especially for an extended stay. The shower was equipped with shower gel and body wash. Both were great and I appreciated this as I forgot to pack my own. Cleanliness: It appeared clean, the comforter looks like it was just tossed on, but the comforter is also one of those ones that looks unmade all the time. I did find a receipt under the top fold of the comforter from another guest. Sheets and comforter were clean to the eye. Bathroom was spotless. Entertainment: The rooms include an entertainment box where there's an hdmi port, AV ports for you to plug in your devices. Bring your Chromecast, Your Firestick, Your Roku, etc and catch up on your shows while enjoying your room. I had some issues with my entertainment box working, the engineers tried to fix my first night there but could not. They were to come back the next day but no one showed, after a couple calls and a walk downstairs the gentleman at the desk promised to send someone up while I was out at dinner. Upon my return it worked! Prison Break time :) Other Amenities: There is no ice machine, but bags of ice are free and readily available in the lobby. There is a 24/7 Gym that was equipped very nicely. Indoor pool that is open til 11pm Bar- they have happy hour specials! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Can't wait to come again and stay little longer! I could easily see Aloft being my little getaway from home where I can get work done. and relax. read more

We come to Chesapeake once a month and stay at a hotel. This one was by far the best. This hotel has a modern feel to it. You walk in and you have a lounge area with a pool table, couches, and a few tables. If you keep walking you'll see the WXYZ bar & another little lounge area. On Friday they had a paint & sip going on. Saturday they had a DJ. They also have a nice lounge area outside for smokers or to just hang out and catch the breeze. The hotel has a gym and a small pool. They have an area where you can grab some quick snacks or drinks as well. In the morning you can order a hot meal. Also, if you choose not to get room service, you will get a $5 voucher to spend on the food! The room itself was pretty nice too. Stand up shower with a sliding door and nice sink area. Then you go deeper into the room & you'll find the bed, a small work desk, and a little lounge couch. The bed is pretty comfy which is hard to come by in a hotel I think. The tv..... pretty cool. If you have Netflix or Hulu just log in right from the tv. Otherwise just bring your fire stick & plug it in! The staff is super friendly and housekeeping does their job! Every morning at the same time you will see several housekeepers with their carts doing their job. Will definitely come back! read more

Oh where do you start for a short 6 hour stay and you feel so unsafe you leave. Only in my room for 6 hours when I go to my vehicle and notice it has been broken in to and everything stolen. Was told by the GM she would not charge me for anything only to get my charge card statement and was charged for the whole 5 days. Now trying to get my money refunded is a joke. Note: my vehicle was in front of the doors under a light. Was told by police that this is not uncommon for this place and that multiple cars had been broken into that night. This seemed to be one of the best options in the area and it has the potential to be but... Where should I start? PROS: very nice area, filled with hotels, quiet, and well lit. The lobby has a pool table and a bar, which is a plus. CONS: I came here for business and needed to get a lot of work done from my hotel room, but the internet service was down. I'm not sure if I was more pissed off at not having internet, or angrier about how they handled it. Customer Service is REALLY important to me. I was in a total panic when I couldn't log on to work and I called them and they said, "oh, I don't fix internet, so there's nothing we can do... we'll call the guy tomorrow." Wait, what? Without internet, I wouldn't have chosen this hotel. I'm not sure what other amenities were included because they don't tell you much at check-in. Sometimes they're at the desk, sometimes they're not. (Depends on how they feel, I guess) Again, this hotel has the potential to be great. More than you expect, at half the cost... I travel a fair bit, and stay in some pretty nice places (multi-year SPG Platinum). but no matter what , I have never found a Hotel with more genuinely happy, pleasant staff than here. Great times in the bar, live music often, and excellent pours! Always my go to place. Incredible leadership on display. From the Food / bar manager to the site manager and now the Regional manager , roll up their sleeves and make a great guest experience. The other night , a bartender called out , and others were on vacation. Did they close the bar? heck no!! Penny the regional manger, worked all day, but stayed till close and worked the bar in a demonstration of true leadership. She may not have known how to make most cocktails , but she clearly knows how to put Guests first. I am uploading a picture of her doing it for all the staff that missed (Sara and Brent !!) We've been to the area a few times and stayed at a couple different hotels, for this trip we decided to try the Aloft. I'm not sure we will be back. The room is a little on the small side but that's ok as it actually seems mostly clean. The cleanliness of the hotel, not so much. Back to the room, there are plenty of electrical outlets; unfortunately, many of them don't work. We called the grunt desk for help, they sent someone up to check the circuit breaker, never heard from him again. Called back to the front desk to check, they said he's checking, one day later, still no electricity and no feedback from the front desk. This is just basic customer service. read more

First time staying in an Aloft, may be the last time. This was the worst hotel experience I have had in a long time. Upon arrival with my service dog, we entered the lobby/bar area and it was so loud with the karaoke in the bar area that I literally could not hear the person at the desk. Got my room key and went down to my room. As soon as I got in the room, I could hear several kids screaming next door, I went to call the front desk to ask to be moved and the phone didn't work, I figured out that the speaker portion could be used and called the desk. However, due to the blaring music she could not hear me and came down to the room in question. She knocked, there were no adults in the room just kids. I asked about moving my room and she said you've already been in the room, and was reluctant to let me move. She said there were two more pet friendly rooms available, one next to the exit door and one right above the bar. My dog is a service dog, which could be seen clearly by the vest she was wearing, so I didn't need to be in a pet friendly room. She was really not helpful at all and told me the walls are paper thin. I unpacked and just decided to stay where I was, and make do best as possible. If I had known, I would have stayed elsewhere. A/C didn't work, the phone didn't work properly, the bed felt like I was sleeping on a bumpy rock and then the kicker I went to eat breakfast and everything had prices on it like they expected me to pay for a free breakfast. I really wanted to like Aloft as a brand and maybe I'll try again after thoroughly reading future reviews, but this was truly a crappy experience. I would have expected more would have been done to those who were obnoxiously loud and disrespectful. i was awoken very early from the same kids who were noisy and wouldn't let me get sleep the night I checked in. There is a lot that can be done to remedy some of these situations -- first soundproof your rooms. I could hear people talking outside my room this morning -- outside the windows of the hotel itself, not just the indoor corridor. Make sure the phones work, make sure the A/C works properly at the temperature its set at. Above all else, make sure your night staff is properly trained. The morning desk clerk was appalled and took money off my stay. Lastly, free breakfast with prices on it! Come on, really? You don't see that at the majority of other chain hotels, at least not the ones I typically stay in. Can't at all recommend any part of this hotel based on my experiences. read more

Lifetime Titanium member here.....not a fan of the Aloft brand but I was in the area and needed a place to stay and hoped this was better than Courtyard. There's no way to begin to describe how wrong I was! First night the folks in the room next to us kept banging and slamming their door (I'm talking 3-4 A.M.) and then a few hours after that they began FIGHTING. A call to the front desk resulted in "we don't have security but someone will come up." Now, the woman who came up was very prompt but the male occupant had just run out of the room and she passed him in the hallway so she was too late to help out the poor woman in the room. Fast forward an hour or two and now the woman in the room is screaming for 10-15 minutes that "SHE WANTS HER FUCKING MONEY." Another call to the front desk and I requested that the person be moved. Never saw anyone come up to end this situation but it did stop. Now, it's not the hotels fault that there was a fight or two but your top paying guests shouldn't have to make repeated calls when there's an obvious fight going on in their hotel. Most of the other guests we saw seemed to be a bit on the rough side as well. Bed is horribly uncomfortable - no box spring as is usual these days. Just a soft mattress on a hard platform. Very soft, unsupportive pillows as well. I wish Marriott had more full service hotels instead of all these less expensive, less comfortable places. I won't stay at Fairfield Inns, Springhill Suites, Courtyards or Residence Inns - beds are horrible and rooms aren't always nice. Now I'll add Aloft to that list. And as we checked out this morning there are liquor bottles on top of bushes! Keep it classy southern VA! read more

We visited friends who were staying here. I have never heard of or been here before. This place is really nice. When you walk in the concierge is small and right I. Front desk f the doors. They have a section where you can eat. There is a bar and lounge area with a pool table. On the first floor there is also a lounge next to the bar with TVs and access to another lounge area outside. This place has an indoor pool and gym as well. The rooms are very modern. And quite comfortable if you want to have a weekend staycation or if you just want to be alone and hide out. They had a DJ set up for NYE. A room with appetizers as well. Whoever made the enormous meatballs did a very good job. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

First of all...I really wanted to like this hotel. There truly shouldn't be a reason why I shouldn't like this hotel. But...I had such a crappy stay here that I hated this hotel. Here are my reasons why my stay sucked: 1. When I called and made the reservation, they said they were extremely pet friendly and that your pet would receive a pet bed and a treat basket full of dog treats and such. Wrong. They only accept dogs under 40lbs and I had to ask for all the other items. They did make an exception for my dog, being 107lbs, but I think its because I told them that "pet friendly" usually means well...you can bring your pet. Maybe they should advertise as "lap dog pet friendly." 2. Our air conditioner in our room didn't work and it was 100 degrees outside. They do boast they have a super quiet whisper air conditioner, but I think its super quiet cause it isn't on. They control the temp, just like a cheap landlord. It was hot in my room all night long (and not in a good way). 3. They seem to be saving money by not only controlling the so called air conditioner in the rooms, but in the hallways as well. It was stuffy and muggy just walking from my room to the elevator. 4. Speaking of the elevator, no matter how early you make your hotel reservations, I've learned that hotels will give the best rooms to those who check in first. That being said, when I arrived at 11:30pm, I got not the quiet room that I wanted, but the room right next to the elevators...which mind you sound like the screaming Alien from the Sigourney Weaver flick. I heard that scream all night long. 5. But...the good thing about the screaming Alien elevator is that it blocked out my neighbors moaning and groaning occasionally...the walls are pretty thin. Aside from those reasons, walking into this hotel made me feel like I was in a over 18 club. Sure its trendy, but I live in NY and those hotels are a dime a dozen. When I walked downstairs to ask the receptionist if I could get someone to check out my air conditioner, I had to literally scream over the music. Needless to say, I had just flew in from Hawaii to Newark, then drove down from Newark to Chesapeake...I should have been passed out asleep from sheer exhaustion, but nope. It was one of the worst nights sleep I've ever had at a hotel. I was supposed to stay until Saturday morning, but I couldn't take it anymore and around 2:30 am, I got up, checked out early and drove back to NY. This hotel has everything I could ask for...but failed at every level. I'm staying at the Hampton Inn for now on. It may not be the trendiest, but at least the air conditioner works and I can sleep. read more

The Aloft, where do I begin....the first time I stayed in the Aloft was in Winchester, Va. Beautiful hotel, the scenic views were awesome, location on point. The Aloft in Chesapeake Va, not so great. .... first we turned the ac down while we were at dinner only to come back and it doesn't work.....the tv makes this high pitch noise and it has a black screen, basically not working. The door to the bathroom jams so you may get stuck in there if your not careful. I guess my only highlight was the 3 hybrid only parking spaces, since I drive a hybrid it was a plus. Overall we won't be back to this location. read more

I have stayed at a few Alofts and they have always been good. This Aloft was a little run down. The fit and finish and upkeep was not quite what I have seen before. It looks just worn and not well-kept. The elevators were dirty and scratched up. The room was just worn, the shower filthy, the sink plugged, the TP holder falling off. I know it's covid, but there is not much foodwise in the lobby. Business center is closed, and the lobby music so loud I can't even listen to a phone call. Trash in the halls ALL night. Not sure if it's the area or the hotel, but it smells of natural gas the whole time I've been here. Not really happy with this stay. Mostly just disappointed that it did not meet my expectations for the brand. The staff was courteous and friendly. read more

I went to the WXYZ lounge located in the lobby of the Aloft. It's a nice cozy area to hangout and socialize. The bartenders were very nice and friendly. The food was just Okay. I would definitely return to hangout again. The rooms are nice and modern but not too big. The beds were very comfortable. There's No bath tub just a shower in the bathroom. read more

My stay at the Aloft Hotel was OK. The lobby was nice. There was a pool table and a bar - the bartender made the drinks insanely strong. Drinks were worth the value. The room... well... The room was nice, but there were some discrepancies. For one, when we checked the beds, there was a crusty, brown stain on the comforter by the head part, which was gross. My friend found like hard lollipop stains on her comforter. We requested new ones, and were rewarded with clean ones. Who knows if they even changed the damn bed sheets or pillow cases though! The walls above the pillows were dusty and had handprints... so you can imagine who was having sex in there before us. Still wondering if they changed the sheets or were we sleeping in someone else's juices? The only other thing that's worth mentioning is the fact that we heard someone try to open our door at least 4x during our 3 day stay. I don't know if it was the maids trying to come in to clean and they weren't informed that the room was occupied or someone was actually testing to see if the door was open. It was a little unsettling to know that if we didn't lock the damn door, we could've had someone walk in. Lastly, the walls are REALLY paper thin. I was in town this past weekend for a wedding. My room was included with a lot of rooms the wedding party held. The Bad: I didn't have enough money in my account to cover my 2 day stay. I had CASH in my purse, but forgot to make my bank deposit. Yes, that was my fault, but the issue I had was that the Front desk would not accept my credit card on file. I had to stay with another family member while a relative went to the bank. No they don't take cash!!! The other ridiculous inconvenience was the food. They gave us a voucher for breakfast with a $10 credit. When we went downstairs to order breakfast, we had to order it at the reservationists desk! Then we had to wait, while they bought styrofoam boxes to us with the breakfast! There was 3 small tables right in the Lobby to eat. There was no area to sit comfortably and eat. They have a small area with snacks which are too expensive. You would be better going out to eat. The Good: a young lady named Heather, who was in the lobby. She was cleaning every time I saw her. She was gracious, and was most helpful. I'm a Marriott person, so if it wasn't for the lot of rooms the wedding party held, I probably would not have stayed there. But we survived 2 days.
