The floor in the room were not clean. There was a rust spot in the tub. They only had two towels and a washcloth in the room. The mattress sagged and every time I turned over the bed squeaked. I asked about a bathmat and hand towels and received two bathmats and two more washcloths. The lobby was not manned most times that we went into that section of the hotel. The coffee in the lobby was cold. The breakfast room was not manned during the breakfast hours or stocked as items diminished during the morning. MOLD Do not stay here if you have lungs. I checked in and stayed for about an hour before I couldn't take anymore. As soon as we walked into the room we could smell the mold and it didn't take long for our lungs and sinuses to start suffering. We tried to move to a different room but the mold was even worse at the other end of the hall. Worst hotel ever. Website never mentioned it was under construction. No phone. No alarm clock. No coffee maker. No pen or paper. Intermittent internet at best. Outside perimeter door completely unlockable so there was no secure way to keep people outside that should not have access to hotel. Room keys did not work most of the time. No power outlets other than the one lamp. One chair in the room was 18 inches off the ground and could not be adjusted. Room smelled like a dead person. Staff was nice and friendly but clueless on helping. Only thing operable was the TV. Wife decided to sleep in car she was so sick. This place is horrible!!! The room was completely disgusting. The fridge was dirty and didn't work, the bed sheets and pillowcases weren't washed or changed. The tables had dust and juice stains all over them. My husband went the weekend of Father's Day 2021 to meet his old Navy buddies. He was booked for four days. Upon entering the lobby he was overcome with stale cigarette smell. The room he got faced the parking lot and he felt like his room was going to get broken in to. There were stains on the wall. The bathroom felt dirty and gross. INCIDENT WITH HOUSEKEEPER** I am a DIAMOND member with Choice Hotels.... We stayed here for almost 2 months, then with new management and price increases we decided to leave. The night before leaving we were moving all of our things into our vehicle& we're in the middle of putting a sheet on a 200lb mattress.a woman keeps trying to back into the spot directly next to us almost hitting our vehicle 3 times. Then she pulls into another spot and yells over at me "Close your fucking door I want to park there!" To avoid drama I stopped what I was doing, dropped the mattress almost hurting my finger, and shut the door. When she's done pulling in that spot we needed for 2 more minutes, she was still talking at me. I couldn't hear what she was saying but I said to her "why are you mad? I shut the door for you even after you yelled at me. that was very entitled of you to do that when you saw we were struggling with something heavy!" She then screams at me "IM ENTITLED?! FUCK YOU BITCH! I WORK HERE! I DON'T WANT ANYONE STEALING MY SHIT SO I WANT TO PARK HERE! IM GOING TO GET YOU KICKED OUT OF HERE! DO YOU PAY FOR YOUR DOG BTW YOU WHITE TRASH?!" So I again stopped what I was doing and went right to the front desk to talk to management. Just for the record I am disabled so our Dog is a Service Dog, that right there is discrimination by an employee as well. I said "oh good I can show you who it was, this is her right here" to which she responded while she was behind the desk "I'm not on the clock I can say whatever I want to you!" then she tried to say we were being horrible to her and that WE were racist?! She was just mad i said...that someone needing that spot when there were at least 10 other ones right next to them/us available while we were needing that door open and moving things just bc she wants to park there... is entitled. Especially when you work at the place. Guests should have the spot needed to move our belongings! I asked for her name, he wouldn't give it to me.  I am literally shaking I am so disgusted by her behavior! I've never been treated like this let alone by someone that works at the place o am a paying customer at! Apparently while I was at the front desk making the complaint she had continued to go at it with my husband and went as far as to drop her purse like she was going to go at him physically! Then comes to the front and tries to put it all on us. I said you know what this isn't going anywhere, you're not worth me getting more upset at, I'll contact corporate & Choice Hotels. The next day the manager comes to our room and says "you can't stay here unless you remove your review" (this review is the exact one I left that night) she said they would handle the situation she would be fired. S then I heard from corporate who only offered me 5,000 of the 10,000 points I used for that room. We drove by the hotel two weeks later to see that woman's vehicle still in the parking lot. I read the negative reviews before booking, but my son was getting married and I really needed an inexpensive, last-minute motel. I thought "How bad can it be?" The answer: HORRIBLE!!!!!!! The room smelled and was FILTHY. I wish I had taken pics because it is impossible to describe just how FILTHY even the lampshades were. I brought my own spray cleaner, and also brought brought my own sheets, thankfully, but I still stripped everything from the bed, including blanket and comforter, because no way was I sleeping on anything that was there. Curtains had a layer of dust. TV remote didn't work. Clock radio didn't work. Only 1 outlet in the room worked. And -- get this -- THE TOILET SEAT AND LID WERE BOTH BROKEN. The lid was just laying on top of the seat, so you had to REMOVE THE LID each time you used the toilet!!!!. It was clear from the second I entered that this was not the kind of place where you could call down to get something fixed, because NOTHING HAS BEEN REPAIRED OR CLEANED IN THIS MOTEL FOR YEARS!!!! I wish there was an option for no stars. This place is absolutely foul! My husband and I booked a 3 night stay. And were told to leave less than 24 hours after we had checked in. Why? You may ask? I'll tell you. This is going to be the most ridiculous thing you have ever heard! We get to the room and can not open the door. My husband had to lift it really hard and put his shoulder into it just to get it open shutting it was the same deal and you really had to slam it to get it to shut. It was completely bent off the hinges. As you see in the pics the other side of the frame is broken too. The lock was bent and you had to lift the door and slide the lock over at the same time to get it to shut and lock together. Super annoying but whatever it shuts and locks. Now we move to the bathroom. It was DISGUSTING! Hair and dirt all over the floor ashes even though it's suppose to be nonsmoking. After driving 8 hours we were exhausted and just decided to go to sleep. Fast forward to the next morning which was Saturday 9/1. I go to the front desk explain the situation with the door and the room being dirty and asked if we could have a different room? I was told that they would send housekeeping up and someone to fix the door. This should of never even been a thing , but maintenance shows up and takes 30 minutes to attempt to fix the door while we are just sitting in the room because we aren't going to leave our things while they are working on the door with it wide open. So they finally agree after being asked many more times if we can just have a different room. The guy from the front desk comes up and says we have another room get your stuff and come with me to the other end of the hall so we do. He then tells me to go in and make sure it's clean and everything is ok. I go in and the floors are wet like they were mopped but there was hair and dirt all over them so I said "No it's not ok it's filthy!" He tells me he doesn't see anything so what do I do? I wipe my hand across the floor and of course it's covered in dirt and hair as you can see in the video. So of course I said this is not ok. It's disgusting. He told me I needed to go to talk to the manager so I go to the front desk where the manager and the guy who took us to the second room are talking in their language. As soon as I came to the desk I am instantly asked by the manager "What is your problem" to which I replied "The room you have moved us to is just as gross as the first one" he said there was nothing wrong with the first room and since no one came into our room last night the door was fine too. He said come with me show me what YOU think is gross. I said the hair and dirt all over the floor is gross. The guy behind the desk said something in his language about me wiping my hand on the floor and the manager questioned me about doing it I said yes I did it and it was disgusting. The manager immediately started yelling at me and said "you have NO RIGHT to wipe your hand on the floor and tell me my rooms are disgusting! You need get out of my property." This was before we had even made it up there for me to show him what I was talking about. At that point it didn't matter what I said he just talked over me and kept telling "GET OUT" "GET OUT NOW" I went back upstairs to tell my husband what had happened and he went down to talk to them to find out why they were making us leave and he was instantly met with the manager telling him " don't say anything just leave right now". My husband took the keys back to the desk and get a receipt showing we had checked out so they couldn't say we didn't and keep charging us. As I'm looking at the receipt I realize it says Balance Due $(176.80). But they had already charged my card for the full 3 nights. I thought it was the refund for the 2 nights even though they said they were not giving it. Aahhhh nope.. they charged us another $176 for checking out early. They falsified information saying the reason I was charged the $176 was because it was OUR choice to leave. When I called to see what could be done the person helping me through Quality Inn corporate office kept asking me if at any point I asked for a refund before they had told us to leave and I said "no because I just wanted a clean room" but in their notes it was written more than once that WE had asked to modify our stay from 1 night to 3. Staff was super friendly, hence the 2nd star. Otherwise I would give it one star. The floors in the room were dirty. We had to switch rooms because our toilet wouldn't flush right and ended up clogging. There were slight differences between the two rooms (one had a mini fridge with a freezer but the other did not, one had a box of tissues but the other did not, and one had two towels and two washcloths while the other had 3 towels and 4 washcloths). The bed frame in the first room was made for a king but had a queen mattress on it. The bed frames were likely aluminum, which caused for loud squeaking when repositioning at night or getting on and off the bed. TV was decent. Microwave worked fine. No daily room service. No elevator. Breakfast was just waffles, toast, English muffins, and mini muffins, as well as 2 cereal choices, yogurt, ok and apple juice, and coffee, all of which were sub par. The walls and ceiling was very thin so you could hear everything above you and outside your room. Will not stay again. read more

TRAVELER BEWARE!!! Do NOT stay here!!! We were exhausted after a 10 hour drive and almost all other hotels in the area were booked. Booked it on my phone in the car through a travel site that gave it 2 stars, and the hotel's photos on the site looked decent enough. I could kick myself for not reading the reviews on here first. It was the most disgusting, horrifying hotel (if you want to call it that) that we've ever had the displeasure of entering. The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. My children really had to pee, but the "public restroom" (which was basically a dirty storage room with a toilet) was so disgusting that they decided to hold it until we got up to our room. Which was a debacle. They assigned us Room 217. We slid the key card and opened the door to room 217, only to find a gentleman laying in one of the beds watching tv. I was mortified. Thank goodness he was dressed. We had to go back downstairs (no elevator by the way) and wait again at the front desk for them to issue us a new room and card. We were then assigned room 216. Back upstairs we go. The hallways were dark and also smelled bad. My nine year old asked me if our room was going to smell this bad, too? Which brings me to the room. Saying that this room was in disrepair is simply an understatement. There were large cracks in the walls, and it looked like there was water damage near the AC wall unit. When we walked in, the window was wide open, with no screen. This was a safety concern, as the area outside was shady at best. There was a guy outside in the parking lot changing his clothes in his car. Back to the room. The shower/tub was so dirty I would never dream of using it. Here's the worst part: when we turned down the beds, the sheets on one of the beds had blood stains on them. I know what blood stains look like, and these were definitely blood stains. At that point, we knew we couldn't stay there. My husband and I both got on the phone and called numerous hotels before we finally found one that had a room available. We took our things back downstairs and complained to the woman at the front desk, who could have cared less. She didn't apologize, let alone offer to even change the sheets. I told her that we were leaving and asked for a manager. She told me to call "Choice". We then dragged our children to another hotel at 10:30 at night and paid another $236. Worst experience ever. How are they still in business??? So many health violations it's unbelievable. Don't learn the hard way like I did. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I will try to post photos as well. First, the good: The location can't be beat, the staff are very friendly, the room is clean-ish, and the price is about half what you'll pay at other major hotel chains in the area. Now, the bad: You get what you pay for. The owner, as is somewhat typical of many who run hotels in this chain, has zero interest in putting money into running the place and keeping it up. Everything is running down, broken fixtures aren't getting replaced, and there is a general air of cutting costs. For instance, the breakfast is absolutely the worst I've seen, with the barest of offerings (even the coffee is dispensed from one of those little instant machines) and everything being crammed into a miserable little room that accommodates only four tables for all the guests. And speaking of guests, it would appear that the hotel serves as temporary lodging for the down-and-out; I'll say no more about that, other than that the semi-permanent clientele are the noisiest guests I've ever shared a facility with -- up and down the halls, shouting about all night long, all three nights. To start off, the management and staff was very careless. We asked the front desk to come into the room to see our concern and she refused, so we decided to take pictures and send them to cooperate. She did offer another room, which was next door, and as soon as we walked in we had to walk back out due to the horrible smell. The room we had was disgusting; there were cigarette burns everywhere (in a non-smoking room) including the bed sheets, window curtains, and toilet seat. The bathroom tub was very nasty and had a bad odor, the bathroom door was broken and there were rust stains everywhere. The microwave and refrigerator were both damaged and had access food in it, which could have been cleaned. The bed sheets on both beds had multiple stains that looked like blood and make-up. There were four of us saying in this room and none of us got sleep, there were loud banging noises through out the night and yelling in the hallway. Staying at this Quality Inn hotel has been the worse experience thus far. Because it was the only hotel available to stay, we had no choice but to stay here, I paid $220 for one night and I believe we got ripped off. read more

This hotel is beyond disgusting, dilapidated, bug infested, and nasty! I checked into this hotel because of the Quality name. There is no quality in the least here! The room was moldy. The stale smell radiated through the entire room. The walls have cracks going through them and appear to be experiencing structural issues!!! While sleeping the lamp shade completely broke apart and crashed down on the floor lamp, which scared the Hell out of me. There was bugs in the shower. The towels appeared to be used, thankfully I had my own towels. There appeared to be several groups of people outside hanging out against the building and people's vehicles, whom appeared to be doing drugs. When I checked out and informed the staff of what the conditions are like, they did not care. I received an alert a few hours later from my credit card company that a separate charge of $250.00 was charged to my card by the hotel, claiming smoking. I haven't touched a cigarette in over 5 years and can't be around smoke due to health issues. I contacted the hotel twice asking to speak to the manager, and was told he wasn't there. The third time I called the manager pretended to not speak English and hung up on me. I then disputed the charge through the credit card company and submitted documentation, but the hotel told them a different story now and it was charged to me anyways. Stay here if you want to stay in the only non smoking room while the secondhand smoke oozes through the walls while you sleep. With the thoughts of bedbugs on your mind and the dank smell that permeates this heap you should get a very restful nights sleep. Don't mind the stale rankness that hang in the hallways when you enter. You won't mind it as the secondhand smoke permeates your lungs and gets you high on other peoples expelled smoke. Where to start....stayed here over night when passing through the area and was very upset over the cleanliness of the room. The accommodations were new and modern, but I was totally grossed out over crumbs, hair and makeup stains and the tv remote being broken. After a day of traveling, all you want to do is sit, not have to get up and adjust the volume or change the channel. It would light up when you pressed volume or channel but nothing would change. There was hair on my pillow and blush or eye shadow from the person before. And also on the sheets. One spot looked like blood, but I am not sure. In the sink there was also some of the pink makeup on the side. When I initially walked in, it smelled like disinfectant so I thought to myself, "Wow, must be really clean!" Not so much. There were crumbs by the night stand and under the dresser. I know this because my dog was trying to eat something that was under there. I do understand this was a pet room, but if you have to pay 35 per dog (and I had 2 so 70 $) you would think it would be at least vacuumed. There was dust in the shower and dust on the base of the lamp of our table. I did call the front desk and request new sheets and we did have someone come ASAP and change them, but still. This Quality Inn gets a star from me simply because our originally booked hotel dropped our reservations and the lady at the front desk was exceptionally nice and understanding and worked around our budget. We were driving from out of town to attend s concert and we had a tight budget for hotel accommodations as we had only planned for the hotel that dropped us. Unfortunately that is about the only good point here and the only person my friends and I encountered that was trained in customer service. To begin with the main outside door leading to our room's hallway was always unlocked. A guy outside smoking a cigarette even remarked "you don't ever need your key to get in here." Next the hallway is dark all the time as many of the lights are dim or do not work. Which prepared us for the fact that our hotel room was just as dim. The bathroom tub was filthy when we arrived as well. The cleaning staff only comes once a day from 6am until 9 am and if you happen to be sleep you miss the chance to get fresh towels and sheets. As you can see we were out of options and had no where else to go. But the final straw for my friends and I was on the second to last day (we stayed for the weekend). We discovered ants coming in through the window and traveling to the icebox and in our luggage. We went down to the front desk to alert them of the problems and we were told the manager wasn't in but that they would make a note for when we checked out the next day. We were also given a bottle of spray to kill the ants. The next morning however, the manager still wasn't in and the front desk attendant gave us the hardest time. She insisted that they have an exterminator come every month so we must be lying. She also questioned why we had waited so long to alert anyone. I mentioned the room not being cleaned and she said we left a do not disturb sign up so they didn't clean it. All in all she refunded $10 from a $80 a night room and sent us on our way complaining that there was nothing she could do to help. read more

I got a choice to choose 3 rooms to stay in and I didn't stay in any of them because they all was dirty, dangerous to your health and smelly. The 1st room was dirty and had dog hair, mascara and unidentifiable strains all over the sheets and the toilet. The bath floor was sticky. But sadly that was the best room. It got worse! The 2nd room Had a double bed and there was pee and blood strains on the sheets and bed bug cover. The bathroom floor was sticky and once again the room had a nasty flowery smell. It got worse when I was shown the 3rd room, which had blood, urine, dog hair all over the sheets, blanks, comforter and bed bug covering. It smell like urine and the bathroom was not cleaned. There was scum all over the tub and a dirty ring around the toilet. The carpet was also very sticky. And to make matters worse the the building manger (m. Patel) lied and said he was just an employee who worked there.( M. Patel) would not even refund our money even though he witnessed the inhabitable experience. We took pictures of this disgusting facility. I would not let my dog stay there. Overall even giving this place one star is being way too generous, We did not get a refund of the first night and lost money because we refused to stay there and left and paid for another hotel. Overall worst hotel experience EVER. If you want to get sick, that would be the best place. read more

They only got 1 star because I had to give them one in order to write this review. We checked into this hotel late at night with our kids. We just pulled into town and needed something available 11:30 at night. We check in and go to our room not even 5 minutes into being in the room we see a roach drawing from the AC unit. I called the front desk and the convo went as such "Sir, are you aware that there are roaches in this room?" Sir: "no I'm not. No one has ever complained of roaches before". Me:" I'm telling you now that this room has roaches." Sir: "would you like me to move you to another room? Maybe one on the 2nd floor. It may just be because your own the 1st floor". Me: "sir, I'm not a roach expert but I'm sure if there's one on the 1st floor there's some on the 2nd floor." My husband says humor the man so we go to the 2nd floor and what do we find? Another roach. We immediately leave the room and demand a refund and leave. Well manager isn't there for a refund so we're told to return tomorrow after 12pm. We leave and sleep in our car that night. We call the following day at 12:30 and were told the manager will not be in until 3pm. So we call back after 3pm and we are told we would only be given back $11 out of the $87 we paid for the room. They claim we used the bed and toilets. We were in each room no more than 10 minutes respectively. No one pulled covers back and yes we used the toilets. We had been driving all night and we had our 3 kids with us. I do not know who to complain to concerning the lack of quality in Quality Inn. Management and their staff was utterly disrespectful in the way they handled this situation. I've never seen one so nasty in all my life and we travel a lot and always use Choice hotels. read more
