When we checked in this place was almost fully occupied some working crews. Parking was filled with their vehicles and trucks. Found a parking near the side door by chance. Check in was smooth. They gave us a room in the ground floor itself. Amenities are Ok. The air conditioning was functional. That was the best thing on a hot summer day. Their breakfast area is smaller - options are limited - especially of you are someone with dietary restrictions. They've got a nice backyard to sit and enjoy the evenings or some fun time with kids. We used the laundry there - clean and quite useful. Our stay was a pleasant one. No hiccups. No hassles. Happy about the experience.

This hotel is not, and should not, be your first choice when looking for a place to stay, but when…read morethe only other hotel in town is booked up and you can't keep your eyes open... you just gotta do what you gotta do. It's not completely bad, but it's not that good either. When you first walk in there's an odor. I don't know exactly what the odor is, but it hits you even harder in the room. Even though the room is def small for the high price it seems pretty put together well, and clean, with the exception of the floor. It's dirty. I mean it's 'turned the bottom of my sons white socks to a mud color' dirty. I did notice while walking down the corridors that several people had their work boots sitting outside of their rooms. My husband took a second to comment on good home training since he does something similar with his work boots at home. I'm assuming not everyone does this for whatever reasons and the carpet suffers the price. Any whoo! Tip 1: Use your flip flops to go shower and keep your shoes on till you get in bed. The bed was pretty comfy plus we were exhausted, so that worked out. The only thing there was these stains on the ceiling the shape of a bed that kinda made you feel as if the bed on the floor above you was going to fall through. Weird. The shower sucks. Warm hard water and no pressure. The breakfast wasn't great either, but it was food... I think. Oh wait, the drive on this long, dark and wooded road coming up to the hotel will definitely make you uneasy. Half way up you may start to question the gps, but it's up there. Be brave!

It is the most peaceful place and we loved staying there. There is a shared living room, kitchen, and wrap around porch. We spent hours on the porch as we don't have any outdoor space at our home in the city. We met sooo many nice people who were staying there and we all hung out on the porch together each day. We arrived on a Sunday night and learned from other guests that no places are open for dining on Sundays, so we went to the local food store and bought steaks and other side dishes and cooked out on the gas grill area. Like everyone is saying in their reviews, the breakfast is spectacular. We also bought a ton of homemade jam, salsa, and honey in the gift shop. It was quite reasonably priced. In terms of exercising, I didn't really feel safe biking or running from the bnb as the roads have no shoulder and the large trucks speed down the road, but my bf biked from there every day. I walked the steep hilly dirt road across the street and drove to safer places to run/bike. Everything is a pretty far drive away, but I think that is normal life for this part of the state and we just enjoyed the scenery of country life on our drives. I def would stay here again next time if I come back to this area.

Absolutely beautiful property, many amenities for guests to enjoy and the two corgis running around was a lovely bonus if you ask my 8 year old daughter. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch of the farmhouse and playing board games while we waited for dusk. Breakfast was delicious - plenty of options to meet every palate. Lots of cute goodies in the gift shop as well. Price was very reasonable, especially for the service provided. We would love to stay again one day!

We stayed in one of the suites as all the cabins had been already booked. But even though you have neighbors, you don't get the feeling that you're crowded. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the balcony at night and in the early morning staring at the creek. Brings a sense of peace and calm. The room was fully stocked with towels, sheets, washcloths. All sorts of kitchen gadgets. There is an AC, fan, fireplace. Pretty much everything you need for your stay is provided. Now cellphone service is spotty to non existent so plan accordingly. The place has wifi but the signal at the suites isn't very strong so it was constantly going in and out. My only complaint is that the gazebo has this giant led light strip that they keep on all night. We wanted to take some photos of the night sky but this bright light that is kept on prevented us from doing that. All in all, great place to spend a few days with some peace and quiet.

The images on the website are fake. Our room was not a suite, not luxury and not spacious as depicted. It was tiny! Our bed was next to the refrigerator. We had to walk one at a time between the bed and kitchen counter. The sofa was so old when we sat down we sank into the floor and had a very hard time getting up out of the hole. We will not return. We got so tired of hearing the truck engines on our short vacation. What a disappointment. Do not recommend.
