Amy provides home made cooking that included a fruit parfait followed by a sausage bake. She sat us strategically as a super host would and we sat with a very nice couple. The sticker on the mirror also says "unless otherwise requested", so I called back down and asked for everyday and she said they can't do that because they're short staffed. The fitness center is two treadmills and an elliptical machine. The front door is broken and stays open 24/7 and one of the stairwells has no lights. This place is an absolute dump and not worth the money especially with other options in the area did the same price. The room itself and breakfast were just ok. This specific location needs an overhaul in management it seems as well as staff in general.

Not only were we able to locate a room at our first choice location, but we were able to locate a 2 bedroom SUITE for $108. Crazy cheap (not it is winter so this was their "off season" rate). There is no online booking, but there is an online email address to determine availability. I completed my request and received a return email very promptly. I then called to reserve the room. The woman I dealt with (the owner, I believe) was very friendly/helpful. Check in was a breeze (though the entrance/parking lot is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle) and our suite was SPOTLESS. It was well appointed (flat screen in both BRs, mini frig, microwave, sleeper sofa, table and 2 chairs) and very comfortable. I'm already looking for another reason to stay here!

There is a shared living room, kitchen, and wrap around porch. We spent hours on the porch as we don't have any outdoor space at our home in the city. We met sooo many nice people who were staying there and we all hung out on the porch together each day. We arrived on a Sunday night and learned from other guests that no places are open for dining on Sundays, so we went to the local food store and bought steaks and other side dishes and cooked out on the gas grill area. Like everyone is saying in their reviews, the breakfast is spectacular. We also bought a ton of homemade jam, salsa, and honey in the gift shop. It was quite reasonably priced. In terms of exercising, I didn't really feel safe biking or running from the bnb as the roads have no shoulder and the large trucks speed down the road, but my bf biked from there every day. I walked the steep hilly dirt road across the street and drove to safer places to run/bike. Everything is a pretty far drive away, but I think that is normal life for this part of the state and we just enjoyed the scenery of country life on our drives. I def would stay here again next time if I come back to this area.

Our room was not a suite, not luxury and not spacious as depicted. It was tiny! Our bed was next to the refrigerator. We had to walk one at a time between the bed and kitchen counter. The sofa was so old when we sat down we sank into the floor and had a very hard time getting up out of the hole. We will not return.
