Horrible management issues. I watched as a young lady, who already paid for joining suites was told that she can be downgraded to two double rooms for all 8 of them. I'm telling you, we will not be back to this location. The front desk staff went in the back to talk to someone. When they came back they were asked who they went to see and never answered. Seriously, if this locations manager isn't fired, then Hampton Inn has issues. Shame on you. read more

I am helping my elderly parents downsize and it is a challenging process to be a guide but also listen and let them make their decisions. Frankly, it has been a hard trip. From the moment we checked in until I departed, it has been a great experience. The evening receptionist was so friendly, it felt as if we were visiting her own her home. The first morning at breakfast, a hotel representative asked how I was doing and I could tell she was sincere. The second morning was a bit more engaging as the hotel room representative asked how breakfast was and then he said he wished I had a very good day. I re-approached him and I said I appreciated his sentiment. Who makes those kind gestures in this day and age? Thank you for your hospitality. read more

Brand new Hampton Inn. Breanna greeted us at arrival and was very warm and friendly. The hotel is clean, bright and comfortable. Our room was well thought out and planned, plugs USB outlet where you needed them and easy to access. Breanna is a blessing to this establishment. In the morning she was vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning tables, and helping guests check out. We need more employees like this everywhere, people who see something needs done and do it even if it isn't part of their job or their job description. I bet the next time I am at this location she will be managing the hotel, which will be a good move for Hilton since she sees things and takes care of them I will definitely be back. read more

I got a notice on my digital key that the room was being prepared, then it turned red and said please report to front desk to provide some details. We drive to the hotel and I'm told no we don't need information that red means the room isn't ready, I'm like that doesn't make sense first it said preparing room so if the room isn't ready why turn off the key? She said call back in 40 minutes, so we sit in the lobby right in front of the desk, she sees us sitting there but chats up a guy mopping. 40 minutes later walk to the counter and oh hey the room is ready, yet the front desk lady never bothered to tell us. The bed springs killed my back, so even though it was only for a night it was miserable. I'm reading some of these great reviews and I think they are fake some by employees or friends because they cannot be talking about this place! Too pricey for this place, but we found better places to stay next time, won't be back here for sure. Being a Hilton honors member I've never checked into one of there hotels without the staff saying "Welcome and thanks for being a Hilton member"! The corporation needs to come inspect and train the people here to be up to par especially for the price, $269 foot one night. I would have slept better in a van down by the river! read more

I stayed here for a work trip and Miranda made the experience truly amazing. She always greeted me whenever she saw me, and made me feel really welcomed there. I've stayed at a few Hampton Inn locations for work, and Miranda is hands down the best person that I've ever encountered at the front desk. She made my check-in process super easy where she basically took care of the billing before I even checked into the hotel. read more

Absolutely clean and still very new hotel. Convenient and much needed in that area. Amazing front desk staff. On a July 3rd stay I was awakened by a housekeeper calling the room quite early from her cell phone and hanging up. Hours away from checkout. They proceeded to clean and talk loudly along with slamming doors. Assumingly prompting guests to check out quickly so they could start on their holiday celebration. I am all for everyone having a great time but not at my expense. After a later call. this time asking if I was checking out (again before the checkout time) we exited the room to a housekeeper holding a cell phone and appearing shocked for me to see her talking towards our door. The very polite gentleman at the front desk had no idea that these calls were being made and apologized. In the parking lot I did notice other guests leaving in a hurry. They probably received the same wake-up calls. Note to housekeepers, tighten up. Breakfast is always great here as well. Feels safe and welcoming. I will absolutely visit again but will not be as understanding about any housekeeping drama. read more

My family stayed here for about 2 weeks this summer after losing our home in a fire. My insurance paid thousands of dollars for us to be here, but ultimately we were made to feel like intruders and we left 4 days earlier than we were approved for. Not only that, but charges were made to my card without my authorization or any warning, despite the fact that they knew I was coming from a fire and my stay was not out of pocket. There are some really great, sweet, helpful staff members, but at least a few who undo all the hard work of the caring staff with their actions. Normally, Hampton Inn is a great place to stay. And, when I travel, that's where I stay. However, this Hampton Inn did not provide the service most other Hampton Inn's do. First, we needed to make some changes to the reservation. We tried to get into an accessible room because my traveling companion needed a shower she could get in and out of more easily. There weren't accessible rooms available for the duration of our stay. I understand that. What I didn't understand was the demeanor of the evening front desk clerk who audibly sighed and gave us attitude when we were figuring out our changes. If I could have changed hotels at that moment, I would have. Yes, we made two changes. I am sure we were frustrating, but Jody's lack of professionalism in that moment was uncalled for. She even argued with me about what she told me. Please don't argue with me, and don't sigh loudly at me, and don't ask me if I have any more changes to make in an ugly tone of voice. When we got to the hotel, there was someone's cigarette sitting attached counter in front of the front desk. Not the most welcoming moment, especially when trying to check in and Jody takes another customer who came in behind us first. When we got to the room, the shade would not come down. The night manager Andy, graciously came up and fixed it. We were staying for 6 nights. We were told housekeeping would come on the 5th day, but that we could get a room refresh upon request. On the third day, I asked for a refresh. We didn't get it. I had to go down and get towels, and trash bags. I ended up having to empty our trash for the entire stay. I had to get toilet tissue from the cleaning cart. On the 5th day, we talked to a housekeeper and asked her to do the refresh. Despite it being the 5th day, we weren't on her list for cleaning. However, she was very pleasant and asked us to let the front desk know she was going in to do the refresh so they would know she was entering the room. She offered to do a full clean, but since we were checking out the next day, we declined. No need at this point since she was refreshing the room. We didn't want to make extra work for her. For 4 mornings in a row, there was no dark roast coffee. I was told they don't make it until breakfast was over (even though breakfast was over). While this is a small thing, don't have the dark roast urn out there if you don't intend to provide it. There was also a lack of carts. This may not be the hotel's fault as much as that of guests who take carts in the rooms and hoard them. This was such a disappointing stay. Will not stay at this Hampton location again. read more

Passing through while visiting family and stayed over in Middleburg at Hampton Inn and Suites. What a great choice. Everything was clean and nice, but the best surprise was the three personable and helpful young ladies that greeted us and took care of our needs and even looked up restaurants for us. They were engaging and had bright welcoming smiles. A big shout out to Sami, Rickia Collie and Shania Bell. Thank you for your strong work ethic and desire to serve others. Great Hotel !!! When I arrived Amy was at the front desk. She was extremely friendly and made you feel glad that you picked that property. She was very concerned that everything was done to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast every morning was very good and the employees keeping the food fresh were very friendly. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. I stayed there for 3 days and very happy that I stayed there. Then when I checked out Courtney the manager on charge was wonderful. Had a question on my bill and everything was taken care of. Great Place to Stay. I will be staying there again on the Christmas Holiday. read more

Although we began staying at Hampton Inn & Suites Middleburg (1735 Jeremiah St., Middleburg, FL 32068) shortly after it first opened, our review concerns contractually renting its meeting room for a special event. On September 23, 2022, we entered into a written agreement to rent this room on November 20th of this year for a 100th birthday party, clearly an indisputably extremely rare at most once-in-a-life-time milestone. This written agreement was done well in advance of the scheduled event, and the family group organizing this celebration interacted with this Hampton Inn facility's staff a number of times after September 23 to confirm that our reservation was in order as well as to inspect/view the room in question, including at 9am on the morning of the scheduled event. At no time were we told that our contracted reservation would not be honored. Many people came from across the country to attend this very special event. Our written contract states that we were to have the meeting room during the time interval 11am-7pm, November 20, 2022--we visited it at 9am because our verbal agreement was that we could begin decorating any time that morning, but were turned away and told to return at noon; the celebration was to begin at 2pm. Upon return arrival, we were informed that the room had been rented to another group, and we could not use it as per our written contract. Our option was to accept the breakfast dining area, or leave. This definitely is a bait-and-switch situation; we were put in a position in which we could not move the event, given that it would begin just a few hours after our latest arrival, we still had to decorate for it, and all of the invitations sent to attendees had the Hampton Inn address on them. We were informed that: we could not complain about our circumstances because the staff on duty had nothing to do with this scheduling mishap; the general manager refused to interact, let alone meet face-to-face, with us and no other manager was on duty; for privacy reasons we could not be told whether or not our written contract reservation was the first made (at a later date, the general manager confirmed that our agreement was the first one signed); and, that we should make the best of our situation, or leave the facility. To say the least, we were put in an impossible situation and compelled to accept our awful circumstances, ending up in an inferior space, one that could not be properly configured for such a celebration. Our family was highly embarrassed by hosting an extraordinary event in a privacy-lacking open hotel breakfast-lobby seating area. This setup compromised the quality of our event, including attendees not realizing that the card to be signed for the centenarian being honored was not part of a hotel lobby display. We found this entirety unacceptable; we had a confirmed, signed, written contract that, if honored, would have preserved our intentions! Next, the general manager emailed us during the event--we were busy with the event, which she had to have known, and hence this, again, is completely unacceptable--and said she was willing to meet with us the day after our celebration. We consider this appearance of reaching out to us to be far too little far too late. We warn others--buyer beware--that this facility is willing to breach a signed contract, and no one at it or its parent Hilton (to whom we contacted for on-the-spot assistance through our HHonors loyalty membership) was willing to assist us in correcting the situation. We will never patronize a Hilton brand again. read more
