For a budget-ish hotel in Napa, it'll do. Rooms are not soundproof by any means (you can hear walking above, walking in the hallways, etc), but what hotel isn't nowadays... Good location and budget price for Napa. Complimentary breakfast in the morning, which is nice. Decent for simple hotel breakfast. See below for photo: assorted pastries, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, oatmeal, assorted cereals, assorted fruits, etc. They also have a waffle making machine, which all Hampton Inns seem to have (at least the ones I've been to).

Appreciate that there's more than 1 shower hook

Overall I had a pretty good stay. I find the 1-Queen room to be spacious. Though there's only one luggage holder, I appreciate that there's two ottomans for other guests to put their luggage on if needed. I found the beds to be comfortable, though I could use firmer pillows. But I slept fine nonetheless. I also liked that they used wired shelves that pull out so your clothes don't smell like wood. The bathroom is also spacious with plenty of counter space. The shower pressure was fine. And the amenities were refillable, which I appreciate. I didn't use much of the shower amenities, just the hand soap and body lotion which were of good quality. I also appreciate that there was more than one towel hook! I find it so annoying when rooms that can accommodate 4 guests only have one hook the bathroom. The only negative comment I have about the bathroom is that the water bottles are there. I don't think that's sanitary... I highly doubt they are replaced if the last guest didn't use them. And if they are replaced, then that's a waste of water and plastic unless they use the water elsewhere. I just don't think any food/drink item should be near a toilet. The area around the hotel is okay. The rooms that face the west have a nice view of the park and river. I even saw a hot air balloon land right outside! The hotel is next to a strip mall where Carabao, which is the top 25 restaurants in Napa, is located. There's also a cute coffee shop, other eateries, and a movie theatre. The only issue is that it's poorly lit at night and there is are unhoused people nearby so it doesn't feel safe walking that short distance. I would probably stay somewhere close to downtown next time, but the Hampton is a good option if you're on a budget.

Stayed at Hampton Inn for a quick staycay a few weeks ago. Located in the big lot that centers Cinemark theatre and Shape Up gym right off of Socal Ave in Napa....its a really good place to get value accomadations for your dollar. The lobby contains the dinning room for breakfast and a nice store to pick up food items, otc medicines, and a few selections of wine. Has a pool, meeting rooms for business or pleasure and a very equiped gym its all you need to get away from home even if you're not that far away from home. Front Desk and Sales staff were great, so I will be coming back here as often as I can. Ciao for now.....

This is the first time we visit Napa and decide to actually stay in Napa. My bf had Hilton points to use for this hotel and we decided to stay for 2 nights. It is located really close to multiple casual food places, grocery store, movie theatre and there is a gym next to it. They have parking on the front, but during gym peak hours it might get crowded. The hotel looks clean and welcoming. They have a small shop just in case you forget something and they have a wide selection of wines. Our room was enough for what we needed and it had a small mini fridge, no microwave. They offer free buffet style breakfast in the morning which includes: bagels, pastries, eggs, yogurt, fruit, varied hot food and waffles. I love fresh waffles so I was happy! They have toppings like granola, butter, whip cream, cream cheese, honey, jams, Nutella, etc. The hot items varied every day and included some egg item, carb item and other protein. I feel like it was a decent breakfast to stay your day. The day that we needed to do our checkout, we were packing a bit of in a rush because we had to go to another hotel and get ready for a wedding. My bf travels with a small pillow from the Purple Brand. He had misplaced an AirPod so he checked everywhere in the sheets until we found it. In this process, we left the pillow behind. We knew once we got to the other hotel that we had forgotten it at this hotel. We called and let them know, they informed us that they hadn't found it yet but would let us know. Not a big deal, not even 1 day had gone by and they may not have cleaned the room yet. We called the following morning and were told that there was no pillow left behind and asked if we were sure. We told them we were 100% sure and described the pillow. I told my bf that we needed to drive back to go and get it since we weren't that far away. Once we got there, it seemed like they hadn't even started looking for it and couldn't find it. My bf was very upset at this point since we knew we left it there and it was in a greyish case which should stand out. They said they would let us know once they find it. We called later in the day and no pillow. The manager told us that she was checking if she could expense a replacement pillow but if we would want points instead. We did not want points, we wanted the pillow. About 2 days later my bf got a call that they found the pillow. They questioned if we had used the ice machine which we hadn't because the pillow was found on top of the ice machine with the ice bucket. To us it seems like a cleaning lady was planning on keeping it and had hidden it for a few days until it cooled down but we were too insistent. Thankfully they shipped it back us and we have it now. We will place an AirTag on it. This being said, be careful what you leave and don't believe everything they say.

I stayed here recently for a friend's wedding and had a great experience! The hotel is in a convenient area close to a shopping center with a Target, In-N-Out, and plenty of other businesses nearby, which made it really easy to grab anything we needed. The rooms were big, clean, and comfortable, and the staff kept everything well maintained throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed the hot tub--it was perfect for relaxing after the wedding--and the gym was really nice and well equipped. They also include breakfast, which was a great bonus. It's a little farther from downtown Napa, but still very accessible if you don't mind a short drive. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again!

The Hampton Inn by Hilton is a great addition to the many lodging options in Napa. This was our first stay at this location and found it to be a nice property. We stayed a total of 3 nights and their prices were of great value compared to other properties in the area. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms that have big standalone showers. Rooms had fridges, sitting area and plenty of places to store your clothes. Breakfast is included with the price of the room and we found the breakfast to be some of the best we have experienced at any Hampton Inn in the United States. They have a pool, outdoor sitting area, gym and a small store on site. The hotel is within easy access to several restaurants, a movie theater and a huge health club. Parking can be a bitch and they missed cleaning our room 1 day. If not for those issues this property would have earned 5 stars. We visit Napa 2-3 times a year. We will definitely put the Hampton Inn & Suites on our short list of properties to stay.

WHY WE WENT HERE: - business trip THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on Hartle Ct - located next door to In-Shape Family Fitness and walking distance to Cinemark Century Napa Valley and XD - parking feels crowded/limited because of the gym next door THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - room itself was a little on the smaller side, but not too crowded feeling - clean and modern - my room was overlooking the parking lot, so I felt comfort being able to see my car out my window; further in the distance you can see the Target and other shopping center - gym was a decent size - eating area for the complimentary breakfast is very spacious - FYI the microwave is in the lobby, NOT in your room CUSTOMER SERVICE: - parking overnight requires a trip to the front desk for a parking pass to display on your dash despite the ability to check-in and check-out online/via the app

Not in the standard rooms, just a regular tub/shower combo. There is a spa and pool outside though.

An Unforgettable Bouchaine Experience!…read more My three girlfriends and I had the most amazing tasting experience at Bouchaine Vineyards. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and truly special. Our wine educator, Rob Fischer, was absolutely wonderful. He was warm, knowledgeable, funny and genuinely passionate about Bouchaine. He shared the winery's rich history in such an engaging way and made our tasting feel personal rather than rehearsed. Rob was a huge part of what made our visit so memorable. We especially loved learning that Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros and sits along the southern edge of Napa Valley, overlooking the beautiful vineyards near San Pablo Bay. We were also impressed to learn about the remarkable women helping lead the winery: proprietor and president Tatiana Copeland and president and winemaker Chris Kajani. The setting is gorgeous. We relaxed on the beautiful patio, surrounded by vineyards, and enjoyed the peaceful Carneros scenery while tasting some exceptional wines. It feels tucked away from the busier parts of Napa Valley, which makes the experience even more special. Rob also told us about the new wine cave currently being built into the hillside. It sounds incredible, and we are already looking forward to returning when it is finished! Bouchaine offers everything you hope for in a Napa Valley tasting: excellent wine, fascinating history, beautiful surroundings and personal hospitality. Thank you, Rob, for making four girlfriends feel so special. We will definitely be back!

The entire experience was stellar, beginning with a welcome glass of Vin Gris, which counts as one of the five wines in the tasting. We settled into comfortable, spacious semicircular couches with panoramic views overlooking the vineyards, gardens, and mountains beyond. What truly elevated our visit was Dulce, our hostess, who has more than 20 years of wine experience. She described each wine with such knowledge and detail that we were able to choose wines we genuinely enjoyed. But it was more than expertise. She shared her knowledge and passion so freely and with such heart that she made the afternoon feel special. Dulce is truly a gift to Bouchaine. The hospitality began even before we arrived. When we realized we didn't need as much time between wineries, we called and asked whether we could move our 3:30 tasting to 2:30. They accommodated us with grace. We ended up staying more than 2 1/2 hours and never once felt hurried. I especially appreciated the generous spacing between the seating areas, which gave each group privacy and made the tasting feel peaceful rather than crowded. The grounds were lovely, with purple agapanthus and black-eyed Susans blooming against the vineyards and mountains. Even the modern wood architecture--from the tasting room and offices to the beautifully designed bathroom--made us feel as though we were somewhere thoughtfully created and genuinely special. Every member of the staff we encountered was warm and welcoming. Some wineries you visit once because you're curious to experience them. Bouchaine is the kind of place I would return to simply because of how wonderful it felt to be there. Although I would definitely be getting the Gewurztraminer, Merlot, and Pinot Noirs again too.

"There is a light that shines special for you and me..." - The Light by Common…read more ~ THE AMBIANCE ~ Are we in the Bay or are we in Hawaii? Newport Beach? Is this even Vallejo? Karlo and I toured two other venues before visiting the Lighthouse well over a year ago and immediately fell in love with the lush greenery, the palm trees, and the view overlooking the water. The Lighthouse felt like a destination even though it's in the Bay Area. It truly is a hidden gem and we got a lot of questions from our guests as to how we found this place. As a kid, I would often go to Suisun for the weekends with my Lola (Grandma) to visit family. The Carquinez bridge was pretty much the halfway point to getting home or to my Aunt's place - Crossing the Bridge and seeing the C&H Sugar factory served as a marker and indicator for me that I was almost home or almost there. At the venue, there is a pathway that leads to a lookout point where you'll see both the bridge and the sugar factory, and it was then we knew that we were going to get married here. ~ THE VENUE ~ The venue has two lawn areas which naturally lend themselves to a ceremony or cocktail hour space. It's absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony on the East Lawn (smaller lawn area to the left when facing the Lighthouse from the parking lot). It has a downward slope which made for an amphitheater like setting. We used the green palms as a backdrop for our ceremony and to be honest - it's beautiful as is even without decor. The bigger lawn area is where we had our Cocktail hour and it was the perfect setting and large enough to host 92 guests. We wanted an all in one space where we could have the ceremony and reception at one place, and the Lighthouse offered that. The indoor banquet hall fit our guest count and the windows all around gave a spectacular view to the marina and the sun set. The only downside is the four pillars that hold up the Lighthouse as it does block the view in certain angles especially when my husband and I had our first dance; however, guests got out of their seats to have a closer look. The kitchen also isn't a full kitchen so be aware of this. There's no stove to cook on or to keep food warm, and there is no ice machine. This one didn't really affect us as we had paella catered and everything was done outside on the paella pans and burners. The biggest selling point is the inn upstairs which accommodates up to 8 guests. Our brothers have younger children and we knew that this would be most convenient for them as the kids nap/are in need of a diaper change/need an area to pump. We had two guests who needed to pump and it was nice to be able to offer a comfortable place for them to do so in privacy without having to take up a bathroom stall in the hall. The inn is well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the decor is tasteful and we loved how history was incorporated in the small touches. It really made for beautiful getting ready photos and was such a pleasure to wake up to a view like that. ~ THE PEOPLE ~ As if the venue is not enough, the people behind the Lighthouse are truly the heart of it all. Crystal, Maggie and Alma like a what lighthouse does, guided us throughout the planning process, checked-in and made sure we were okay throughout the evening. They were so kind through it all and even made sure that my elderly parents were comfortable as mobility is an issue. We booked our vendors based on two things: kindness & connection, and we will never take for granted the hospitality they have offered us both leading up to our Wedding day and on the day-of. Thank you for everything! All in all, if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind, intimate venue, the Lighthouse is it. My husband and I are already looking forward to planning another event here in the near future!
