My husband and I were strolling around downtown Napa at 3pm and wanted to find a place we can pop in easily for a snack. We had dinner reservations at 6:15pm, so we wanted to find a spot where we wouldn't over do it on the tapas. We passed by Quilt & Co, which looked inviting especially with the patrons chilling outside. I spotted a group with a bunch of small plates, which was exactly what we were looking for. Since my allergies were killing me, I opted to sit inside at the bar. The wine bar had a nice interior - laid back but classy lounge feel to it. We got a glass each and shared tuna crispy rice bites and eggplant ice cream. Both food items were extraordinary, but I have to give it up for the eggplant ice cream that pleasantly surprised me. As weird as it sounds, do not sleep on this dish. It was fantastic and absolutely worth the try. You definitely get that earthy eggplant flavor, which blends well with the sesame ice cream. It also had candied oranges that brightened the flavor and added a different texture. Lastly, the bartenders were awesome. Friendly, personable, and excited to offer recommendations.

Came here with a group of 4 in 2022 and we chose to sit outdoors and enjoy the nice weather. At that time, they had a clear canopy/tent situation set up with cute chandelier lights above. They started us off with a complimentary white wine which was a pleasant introduction. They also let my partner & I split a wine tasting & were still generous with their pours, which we greatly appreciated. Each wine was brought out one at a time but we didn't feel rushed to finish. We also ordered a charcuterie to pair with our wine tasting. Everything was delicious and we had a great time here. Definitely excited to come back & check out the rooftop seating next time.

Francesco was delightful and curated a tasting that suited my daughter & me. Great way to relax and learn all the offerings from Joey Wagner.

Came here for drinks with the fam as well as to play a board game. Since we weren't sure at first if we'd be doing a tasting, we sat downstairs at a booth that easily accommodates 6+ people. It was large We in fact did decide to do a tasting. The tasting is $55/person and then you can have it waived if you buy 3 bottles (which the math isn't mathing but we did have 3 bottles we wanted so at least we got one tasting waived) My fave was the Clark & telephone. The Chardonnay was honestly the best Chardonnay I've ever had. Also really liked the one with the key on it too The ambiance and service was fantastic. Truly enjoyed our time here. We played a board game during this time as well and they were extremely accommodating. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Great venue in a very cool historic building. Didn't make it to the rooftop, and definitely planning to hit that up on the spring or summer. Loved the service; attentive, informative and great overall service. Only had the mixed nuts, and those were great between wine sips. Couldn't have been more happier to walk out with some great bottles to take home and good sips in a nice relaxing spot.

Such a great place. The only rooftop bar in Napa. Gorgeous inside. Service was great. Belle Glos wine is so darn good. Food looked great but we didn't come to eat. Joe Wagner wine!

Wonderful tasting room right by the river. Wonderful wine selection, knowledgeable staff and a tasty paired menu. Definitely worth a stop!

If you're a big fan of the Boen, Bella Glos or Quilt wines, Quilt & Co is a must stop when you're in Napa. Everything Joseph Wagner crafts is high end, artisan wine. We were lucky enough to spend an afternoon here tasting nearly everything on the wine tasting menu including all four Bella Glos vineyards. All are distinctly different. I've long been a fan of the Quilt wine brand (~$45) but nothing prepared me for the Quilt reserve label. WOW. The reserve takes the Quilt wine to the next level of fine wine. Bolder, more oak, beefier tannins - the finest wine crafted by Joe Wagner. The tasting room is fairly simple and unpretentious, but all the wines that are poured here are beautifully crafted. The Bella Glos wine is one of the most unique, fullest bodied Pinot Noir varietals on the market. It's hard to critique anything about the wines served here -- just be forewarned to bring your wallet -- Pinot Noir is an expensive habit! Enjoy.

Great service and small plates for snacking on while sipping on all the delicious wine. Nate was great explains all the history and wine he even got me me convinced to join the club. Gear spot to meet up and relax not bust on a Thursday.

This was our favorite tasting room of our whole weekend. They pour for several different wineries, so you get a good cross section of Napa wines. I had a tasting flight the server put together based on my preference and every one I tried was fantastic. The vibe is casual and relaxed.

Really enjoyed our visit in the cool building. The rooftop bar was fun. Nate, our host, was excellent. He was able to enhance the experience with his knowledge of the area and the wine making process. And, the little tasters of food were excellent.

Such a great place to stumble in! Our wine educator, Cassidy, was amazing! They have amazing service and good conversation. Cassidy is so knowledgeable and is great at her job! The atmosphere was warm and energetic! Also, Nate was equally helpful and friendly! 10/10

An Unforgettable Bouchaine Experience!…read more My three girlfriends and I had the most amazing tasting experience at Bouchaine Vineyards. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and truly special. Our wine educator, Rob Fischer, was absolutely wonderful. He was warm, knowledgeable, funny and genuinely passionate about Bouchaine. He shared the winery's rich history in such an engaging way and made our tasting feel personal rather than rehearsed. Rob was a huge part of what made our visit so memorable. We especially loved learning that Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros and sits along the southern edge of Napa Valley, overlooking the beautiful vineyards near San Pablo Bay. We were also impressed to learn about the remarkable women helping lead the winery: proprietor and president Tatiana Copeland and president and winemaker Chris Kajani. The setting is gorgeous. We relaxed on the beautiful patio, surrounded by vineyards, and enjoyed the peaceful Carneros scenery while tasting some exceptional wines. It feels tucked away from the busier parts of Napa Valley, which makes the experience even more special. Rob also told us about the new wine cave currently being built into the hillside. It sounds incredible, and we are already looking forward to returning when it is finished! Bouchaine offers everything you hope for in a Napa Valley tasting: excellent wine, fascinating history, beautiful surroundings and personal hospitality. Thank you, Rob, for making four girlfriends feel so special. We will definitely be back!

The entire experience was stellar, beginning with a welcome glass of Vin Gris, which counts as one of the five wines in the tasting. We settled into comfortable, spacious semicircular couches with panoramic views overlooking the vineyards, gardens, and mountains beyond. What truly elevated our visit was Dulce, our hostess, who has more than 20 years of wine experience. She described each wine with such knowledge and detail that we were able to choose wines we genuinely enjoyed. But it was more than expertise. She shared her knowledge and passion so freely and with such heart that she made the afternoon feel special. Dulce is truly a gift to Bouchaine. The hospitality began even before we arrived. When we realized we didn't need as much time between wineries, we called and asked whether we could move our 3:30 tasting to 2:30. They accommodated us with grace. We ended up staying more than 2 1/2 hours and never once felt hurried. I especially appreciated the generous spacing between the seating areas, which gave each group privacy and made the tasting feel peaceful rather than crowded. The grounds were lovely, with purple agapanthus and black-eyed Susans blooming against the vineyards and mountains. Even the modern wood architecture--from the tasting room and offices to the beautifully designed bathroom--made us feel as though we were somewhere thoughtfully created and genuinely special. Every member of the staff we encountered was warm and welcoming. Some wineries you visit once because you're curious to experience them. Bouchaine is the kind of place I would return to simply because of how wonderful it felt to be there. Although I would definitely be getting the Gewurztraminer, Merlot, and Pinot Noirs again too.

My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. But dog friendly. Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. The first pour was the smallest and then slowly they seemed to give us more (maybe they heard me!) Honestly, the pricier wines tasted better.
