Saddle and ready for a trail ride. Summertime

They are under new management and the place is getting cleaned up. They have shares for sale in the roa office. Book a tour with the ranch. 1-707-252-0140 Yearly assessment are $2500. It's a slice of heaven, a place away from the hustle and bustle of the work week.

A beautiful place to spend time with your family and make new friends. At the R-Ranch you'll find horseback riding, swimming pool, dog park and a small golf course for kids. The worst part of the ranch is management, destroying the owners morale and causing a negative impact. I observed as management and employees disrespected and mistreated owners and their rights. In our experience, the management were extremely retaliatory against owners. Management go through personal documents and files and stock on social media many of the owners they are disgruntled with and use the information against the owners to cause anger. Management is quick to call the sheriffs on owners instead of resolving issues in house. Methods used to gain control and or retaliate for owners questioning rules. But through it all, sometimes owners, management and employees of the R-Ranch can put aside problematic behavior to enjoy what's left of the R Ranch this summer. Hopefully, positive communication continue to create an invitingly happy vibe at the ranch in the future.

It's gonna be a HOT One...families are starting to bring kids a coolers for a day of fun.

Great year round family experience. Camping, horseback riding, large pool and Turtle Rock is just down the street.

Ask the Community - R-Ranch At the Lake

What's there to do during the winter months?

Same things as summer, napa has a very mild winter. P.s. buy camping gear and stay at the most expensive places you can find....you'll still save $800 a year (dues are $1800 per year after you buy in). Check out thedyrt.com

Does anybody know the yearly membership fees?

    They are currently $1500.00 a year 2018

Wendee was sweet enough to reach out to us to ask if we still wanted to have our experience outside of Airbnb and we were so excited to take her up on the offer. We booked a Reiki meditation with Horses session ultimately :) After a beautiful hour drive up to Wendee's location from Santa Rosa, we were greeted by the wonderful Wendee herself. We were offered some wonderful mint tea w/sweetener as well as some fresh fruit to snack on while we opened our reiki meditation session. Following, we were able to down to the fields and join her beautiful three horses and use our reiki meditation to invite animals into our space and use that time to bond with them, as they were willing to. We learned about each horse and what made them special. I ultimately felt like I had a connection with Brioso and I was happy to see that he felt that way with me too :) We were also able to bathe Arturo and Brioso and had some special appearances from Wendee's cats who were super friendly and allowed us in their space with lots of purring. Ultimately, my guests and I had an absolute blast. Wendee was a terrific host with three beautiful horses that allowed us to practice and learn reiki meditation in a very helpful way. Could not recommend this experience enough. If you are in the Sonoma or Napa area, this is a beautiful experience that you shouldn't miss out on. Definitely bring a hat and sunscreen if the weather is hot, Wendee's place is beautiful but the sun has no mercy and you'll need the protection. She does provided plenty of hydration for the heat though. See my pictures below to see how happy I was with this meditation

We spent the weekend walking through the practice and connecting with her horses, cats and sweet dog Ruthie. Whether you're looking for a new way to connect with animals, a respite from your hectic day-to-day or a unique experience during a trip to the valley, I would definitely recommend a visit.

The counselors were fun and supportive. The activities were engaging. Thomas loved the food. This year he encouraged a friend from school to join him. That boy had a great time, and they both made new friends too. Thomas came back with greater confidence and displaying more independence too. We can't wait to get back the pictures he took with his disposable camera! What I love best, besides hearing the stories about him getting up early to care for the horses that he once found intimidating, was the call we received from Dawn mid-week. We weren't worried. We've had great experiences at Cloverleaf. We know the ratios of campers to counselors allows for attentive care. Still, the mid-week phone call telling us how his week was going just reinforced how much the staff really cares. For this reason, Cloverleaf will continue to be a Cremidis family tradition for many years to come. Next year, little brother will be old enough for residential camp and he's already making plans for how he'll spend his time.

I didn't feel comfortable with this arrangement and am glad I didn't sign my daughter up for sleep-away camp. She enjoyed the day camp but the staff seemed more concerned with protecting themselves rather than allowing parents to protect their children. I was expecting some nice local horse riding girls to mentor her and instead had to leave her with boys who wouldn't tell me their names. She won't be back.

I am allowed to bring in and store my own food (orchard grass from Higby's) with the standard stall rate and have arranged for fan service for a fee (Matt graciously installed the fan in my mare's stall) so my mare gets TLC when it is hot. The stalls (x-small wood chips covered + matted paddock) are kept very clean, with someone coming to remove manure at least twice a day. It is a busy barn with some boarded horses and a many lesson horses, so it is easy to arrange for someone to help blanket and provide grain to my mare, daily. The owners live at the barn so there is someone keeping an eye on horses 24/7. I have learned so much from my trainer CeCe who has a background in eventing. I feel safe during our sessions, and she takes the fitness level and soundness of my horse into consideration. Pine Trails offers large number of lessons weekdays after school and weekend mornings, so it can become a very busy during these times, but my mare enjoys the higher level of activity at this barn and would be bored otherwise! I generally ride during the late evenings and there are usually at least one or two people out and about for company. During the hot days of summer, there is the option of riding your own horse at the coolest hours of the day. As mentioned before I truly appreciate the flexibility Michelle, the owner, offers. Arena lights are on until 10PM. The footing in the four arenas is sand, crushed walnut shells, or a combination of both, watered once a day and dragged a few times a week. Ivan, a local farrier, is wonderful and comes to the barn every week, so arranging appointments is easy. The barn-cats, dog, geese, ducks, and many other animals are a fun bonus to the experience.
