Oh my this place is amazingly CLEAN, super kind, and has all day coffee in the lobby... three things you rarely find since the nutty big Corp California has invaded. The ONLY reason I'm giving this a 2 star review is because of the staff. They were very friendly and the breakfast was decent. The negative...I can't believe The price I paid for 1 night with the room we got. We couldn't get the door open. My husband had to pull the door towards him while I slid the key because the door was jammed. The AC didn't work very well. Not sure why you have a thermostat on your wall when the AC is controlled by the unit under the window. The AC was covered in some yellow stain. There was a HUGE crack across our window that was TAPED with packing tape as a solution and the bathroom door wouldn't close or lock. There was also a huge patch job on the ceiling by the window like it had previously leaked. The lobby and hallways were hot and NONE of the ice machines worked. I'm pretty shocked at how this room looked. Very disappointed!! read more

Night staff was super friendly and attentive, which gives the extra star. The reality though, the hotel is loud and you hear everything in the halls. Worst of all, you can't shower in the morning. Water pressure was so low I could barely brush my teeth. The front desk said maintenance has confirmed nothing is wrong and it's fine. For near 200 a night, it isn't fine and I apparently don't have a shower included with my stay. read more

First off, Kudos to Alysia the frontdesk. She went far and beyond to get me check in really quickly and also prepared me a Togo breakfast for the next morning because I explained to her that I would have to miss breakfast since I had to report to work super early. So before I even got to my room, I got my breakfast Togo bag, a cold bottle of water and a freshly baked cookies at the front desk. It was a long 9 hours drive to the hotel so I really appreciated the smooth check-in and a nice clean room to rest up. The room looks newly renovated. Very spacely and has all the amenities I need to be comfortable while away from home. I've always enjoyed my stay at most of my Hampton Inn stays. read more

We Booked several rooms for graduation stay and the place looks like it could need some updating. We were greeted by Brittany who was super friendly and accommodating. She had our Hilton Honors snacks ready for us. We got to our room and noticed the mold in the shower and the bathroom door did not close. I do recommend this hotel. We have family in this area so we've stayed in at least half of the hotels this town has to offer and this one has been the best by far. With that being said they're not immaculate by any means. I couldn't get the bathroom door to shut easily, the beds are bouncy and a little uncomfortable but not horrible. The front desk staff was super friendly and helped us with anything we needed and wanted. I did use the app to reserve our room and it worked perfectly. I've stayed here many times and Alyssa has always been very helpful and great to deal with. Room seem to have been upgraded over the last 5 years and are more modern. All the staff is great and it's clean and quite. I have nothing to complain about here and I can usually find issues at most hotels as I spend about 300 nights a year in hotels so I am very picky and observant. read more

The manager at this location Rosalinda De Los Reyes, is extremely disrespectful. I'm appaled by the way she spoke to me. Claims to have been in the hospitality business for 10 years according to he linked in and claims to have a passion keeping people happy. I can honestly say that is just straight asinine. I stay in Hilton 90% of the year as well as 4 of my employees. Never have I encountered a situation like this. I had a reservation. I checked in on the app like I always do before I arrive. It asks what time I was arriving and I put after 10PM. When I show up early in the morning I am told that it was canceled because I was a no show. How are you going to say I'm a no show when it's early in the morning during the time frame of my reservation. Needless to say I told them I wanted a refund and I was told no. This location is a absolute embarrassment to the Hilton flag. In addition that this is probably the most outdated Hampton Inn I've seen. read more

Unfortunately they were doing some remodeling during my stay, but they were very informative and apologetic and had everything closed off quite nicely so there wasn't dust everywhere. I loved the western decor of the hotel. The actual room was very clean and surprisingly spacious. The shower was the best part - extremely large with a high shower head. Free breakfast was pretty standard with the exception of the omelettes and sausage and biscuits....maybe I just had a long night, but they tasted amazing and really hit the spot. Thanks, Hampton. This hotel does have a nice free breakfast consisting of waffles, cereal, few pastries, a little fruit, coffee and juice. There was some kind of omelette but it did not taste good at all. The staff are all very friendly and nice, but the hotel really needs some updating. Thank goodness the room air conditioner worked very well. The air conditioner in the meeting room was broke, the hallways were SO HOT and humid, the elevator stunk, and the meeting room floor had cobwebs and dead bugs in the corner. The pool is indoor, but there was so much chlorine it was over whelming. Our kids (all) sniffed and snorted all night and looked like they were on drugs when they got out of pool. read more

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I come here for work a few times a year and since we have a special discount rate, I usually stay here. They have a manager's reception from 5-7pm. Which is really just free Bud light, Coors light and another simliar quality beer and some light snacks. This is good to look forward to after a long day of work and waiting till dinner time. Front staff is very helpful. I usually forgot my toothpaste, but they always have extra of that and other toiletries for free. Room is clean. Bed is comfy. Breakfast is your standard continental breakfast (cheese omelette, sasauge, muffin, waffles, fruit, cereal yogurt with your coffee/milk/juice). They also have these grab bags if you need to be one the run but still need some food. Those have a bottle water, apple, breakfast bar and muffin along with some mints. This come in handy when you really need to get to the plant because you stayed up late watching HBO at night. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that needs a great nice sleep after a day of traveling/work/play/etc. It is worth every penny and then some. I frequent this hotel for business based on the amenities that come along with it as well as the recommendations I get from coworkers. Given that the town isn't big, you still get great amenities. Clean areas, clean rooms and well lit. The staff is responsive. If you are one of those pay attention to details, then this place may not be for you. Heck, the town may not be the place for you. But as long as it's clean and has those free perks you would normally have to pay for, this place deserves the 4 stars. Some useful tips: it seems that each room is setup different. Not all rooms have the fridge and microwave. WiFi has poor signal on the ends of the facility so stay closer to the middle. read more

Everyone there was very sweet. The lobby was very clean and well put together. Room was immaculate. As soon as my husband checked in there's a whiteboard that the employees wrote members of the day and gave us a basket of candy, chips and a bag of water and other goodies. Very nice of them! We booked two rooms for graduation and we received an email that our reservation was canceled. We never received a phone call till 5:00 pm. Just happed to see the email and then I called. The young man answered the phone and he told me he did what he was told to do by his manger. I asked to speak with the manager and was told SHE was not there. She called me later that night and stated they were over booked even though I had confirmation numbers. The manager put the blame on Hilton computer issue. I called the diamond desk and was told the hotel is the one who post available rooms not Hilton so its the hotels fault. I told the hotel manger she should not be running this hotel as I receive several reports that this happens all the time with this hotel. I would not stay here anyway as the hotel needs cleaned up and a makeover. read more

I came into this motel the morning of December 9th to book a room for 12/22 and 12/23. I am an ER nurse and I work nights. I explained this to the clerk at the desk that morning and asked if there were anyway I could check in at 7 to 730 am the morning of the 22nd since I will be working the night of the 21st. I was told "ABSOLUTLY, NO PROBLEM" so I booked the room and paid with my credit card. Well low and behold I showed up yesterday morning the 22nd, only to be told "Um, I'm sorry but we have nothing for you", I explained that I had come in and booked in person. The clerk had the audacity to look at me and lie saying "I'm sorry but I was not aware of this booking or know anything about it". Spoiler alert hun, I BOOKED IT WITH THE SAME CLERK, she's the one that told me no problem and supposedly notated it on my reservation. So i get told next that "Oh we have a new management team that came in a couple of days ago, it must have gotten fouled up that way. I'm sorry, again not buying the excuse. I live 2 hours away, I worked a 12 hour shift, and now I have no place to stay. Thanks Hampton Inn, I ended up sleeping in my truck, not being able to shower or change clothes, or even brush my teeth, before having to go back into work for my shift last night. EPIC FAIL!!!! No attempt to offer and fix the problem or anything! The salt to the wound was the fact that it was the exact same person I spoke with both times, and to tell me you have no idea what I was referring to? Really???? how many people do you have coming in requesting to check in early because they need to sleep during the day due to working nights. Again EPIC FAIL! The hotel is falling apart. Broken lights in room. Burnt out lights and they could not give you a new bulb. Stained furniture. Trim pieces falling apart. Then they gave me another room that had working lights but was almost as dirty. The original room booked was a king but ended up in a room with two queens. And they did bit honor the Hilton satisfaction promise. As a diamond member with 180 hotel nights a year I can say that this is the worst Hampton I've stayed in over the past few years. read more

Made a reservation over the phone for a 2 Queen bed room. Drove 5 hours for a family function. Went to check in & young girl at front was very nice. Went to room & it was a 1 king bed room. Went back downstairs & the girl at the front that was previously nice was very condescending & rude. Said she had no room to move us to & loudly asked "Do you want me to cancel your reservation" SERIOUSLY !!!! She asked the manager to come over & "THE MANAGER" to come over who had approximately 5-6 piercings in her face, WOULD NOT LOOK ME IN THE EYE AT ALL & said there was NOTHING she could do & asked AGAIN IF I WANTED TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION !!!!! I called EVERY hotel in that town & they were all full. So i told her NO THERE IS NOWHERE else to go. After rolling her eyes & walking off i went to my room & then went to meet my family. When i walked out the two were sitting in chairs with feet propped up watching TV !!!!! This TOTALLY disappointed me about "Hampton Inn". My son is on a travel baseball team & we travel EVERY weekend of the summer & usually choose Hampton Inn to stay in if we can. Well. Your two fine employees & "manager" have TOTALLY ruined that. This hotel is fantastic! Checked in a day early via the smartphone app, arrived 30 mins before 3pm and picked up our keys since our room was ready. Walked into the room and it smelled clean and looked great! The decor is appropriate for the area (rustic Texan), and looks nice. Just like home!! Clean and very well maintained. A delicious breakfast. We came through when the weather was in the teens and the furnace in our room kept us warm, cozy and comfortable!! The very best part of this Hampton Inn was the hospitality of the staff! Brody was happy, friendly and accommodating - Brody helped us get the TV satellite system in our room functioning correctly with ease and ensured there were plenty of those DELICIOUS, soft, assorted, fresh baked cookies available to the guests - a genuine guy all the way. Gabby was simply adorable! During breakfast she checked on all the guests ensuring everyone was enjoying the food and that everything was picked up/clean. I even saw her helping a young mother with her 4 small children with drinks etc. Gabby had her hair, makeup and clothes done impeccably, it was clear to see that she knows how to put her professional self in the face of the public, which is a rare find and extremely refreshing! Overall, I was happy with our stay. We stayed in the "King Suite" which was rather large, very nice and had a whirlpool bathtub. The bed was nice and everything was very clean. The one complaint that I have was with housekeeping. We asked for a late checkout and I confirmed this three times. I was told that late checkout would be 2 PM. At noon (the normal checkout time), housekeeping would not stop knocking on our door, called us from another room and hung up and we actually had to go to the door and tell them we were checking out at 2 PM. While looking through the peephole, one woman was pointing at her watch and rolling her eyes. I called the concierge to ask them if there was a problem and was told that Head of Housekeeping was told, but apparently no one else was. We checked out anyway. I would probably stay there again, but I would be sure to check out at the normal time. read more

I would only book with this Hotel or corporation if you intend to get unauthorized charges on your credit card. Reservations cannot be canceled or moved to another date, so when the room is booked plan on paying for it and also being charged extra fees after the initial charge. The front desk attendant over the phone was rude and obnoxious even though we canceled the room only to have to pay for it and never checked in, then have extra charges added to our credit card.
