If your standards are none, this is your best choice. Dirty, unacceptable, and less than hospitable are the words that come to mind to describe my stay. Dirty shower floor, hair in shower, in the sink, in the drawer, unvacumed carpet. Requested a new room upon check in, and was told no rooms were available, but that management would get back to me - they did not. I then requested a new room in the morning and was told that despite my request, I would not be moved, but housekeeping would do a deep clean. I watched housekeeping wipe down surfaces, and change linens. It was not a deep cleaning by anyone's standards. The construction made this hotel an eye sore and was appalling to me, considering what I paid for 3 nights. None of these things should be so carelessly visible to the consumer. I always had to look for a front desk staff member, and when leaving, had to call from my cell phone to check out because no one was there. It was so bad that I checked out a day early, because I was done with the second class experience. Customer service is non existent here. This is a motel with hotel prices. The Atlanta Hampton Inn at Stockbridge may have not received all of the newest updates but it is a VERY solid location. It's clean, well maintained and the front desk went out of their way to still get me a room when their systems were down. You are very close to a bunch of different food options and you are within reasonable range of the airport without being in an "airport hotel" and everything that comes along with it. read more

Hotel is currently being renovated. Nothing mentioned in Hilton App. Room reeked of fresh paint, no windows to open/vent. Interior room is 90% complete, but 30+ year old AC remained. Hallway looks like it is being rehabitated after a mortar went off. read more

I travel and this was one of the worst stays I've had. The ladies at the front counter were very nice but the opportunity is with the management here. Quiet hours were not enforced, there was heavy construction going on throughout the hotel and I get that but the management let the construction workers work up until 8 PM with loud stereos and equipment and it was obvious they were not told or held accountable to being respectful of the guests. And I should have taken and dropped pics of how dirty the halls, elevator and common ground was. There were dogs in the rooms around me that barked. It was not good. I'll never come back to this Hampton. read more

This has to be the worst Hilton I've visited compared to the one in Darium Ga back on Labor Day. They should really consider upgrading this place being there are so many better hotels in the area. My wife was traveling for work, and I went along with her for the trip. On one night of our trip, we chose to stay at the Hampton Inn located in Stockbridge, GA. We booked this room directly through the Hilton HHonors app a few weeks in advance of our stay. We did have to change the reservation once about two weeks before our visit due to changes in my wife's itinerary but it was easy and free using the app. We tend to use a mix of Hilton, Mariott and booking.com locations when we travel and find Hilton has an overall good guest experience on most of our stays with only minor variances between properties. Overall the brand standards of both the Hampton and Hilton Garden Inn properties are generally abided by and provide for a comfortable stay. CheckIn Experience: Our check-in was pretty fast and straightforward. I showed my ID and provided my credit card used for booking and had to swipe for any incidental charges. Our clerk at check in was not overly friendly but was not rude or dismissive toward us. Our desk clerk made it apparent that she had other tasks she preferred to be attending to but she did do her job, and we got checked in. I would rate our arrival experience as being neutral 2.5 Guest Room / Property: The overall condition of the hotel and our guest room was well maintained, safe and comfortable. The access doors were all secured and only accessible by room key except for the front lobby which was open. We used the digital key in the Hilton app and did not experience any issues with any door locks or access. Our room was fresh and odor free, the bed linens were clean, and the room was very clean. Bedding was comfortable and consistent with all other Hilton Hampton properties we stay in. While all the surface areas were clean, it was apparent that the housekeeping department looked at the surfaces and forgot about surfaces outside the main view. In the regions that remained lesser focal points, there was dust and some lint accumulated but not enough to cause any concerns. Common areas of the hotel were all very clean, neat and orderly. The lobby coffee area was kept stocked and clean throughout our stay. We really had no complaints about the quality, comfort or cleanliness of our room or the property. I would rate the property at a high-quality mark at a solid 4 since there was room for improvement with maybe a housekeeping supervisor or manager following up before a room is made ready. Check Out: Our check out experience was probably the best part of our stay. The clerk who checked us out was efficient, friendly and seemed overall concerned with the experience of the guest. She asked about our stay and as she printed the folio asked what brought us to the property. She asked if she could assist in any future reservations and said she hoped to see us again on future visits. Our check out clerk actually provided an exceptional level of service in making us feel like valued guests and provide the level of service we are accustomed to at Hilton properties. As a side note, the check out clerk was not a member of the management or supervisory team although I am sure that will quickly change for her based upon the level of hospitality she demonstrated with all the guests departing that morning. Honestly, she would have been a delight at our check-in experience as we felt more welcome in leaving than we did when arriving. Our departure experience was s solid 5 with no room for improvement. read more

One star is not even sufficient, but it was the lowest rating available. First of all, would expect Hampton Inn to be professional and accommodating, since it is owned by Hilton. Prior to my stay at this Hampton location, contacted the hotel directly and requested a toilet seat riser, due to disability. Was informed that risers were on order. Upon arrival, the manager at this location did provide me with a riser, courtesy of another Hampton location. At this point, I was satisfied, or so I thought. The next day, after being out all day, returned to my room, only to find the beds had not been made and dirty towels (for 3 people) on the bathroom floor. I called the front desk and informed them of this and was asked did I put a sign on the door. I did not know about any signs. I waited several minutes and called front desk again. Front desk asked me if I could come and pick up replacement towels; mind you I am temporarily disabled. The only descent thing I can say about this location is that the breakfast is hot. Terrible terrible, took me 20 minutes to check in at the front desk with two people manning the station trying to check in one guest ahead of me. When I did come up to the front of the line, they never apologize for the wait. The gentleman who I was traveling with was not a diamond member, couldn't even get a bottle of water when he asked. Beautiful hotel with great location but all of that was ruined when we were abruptly forced to check out because another guest LIED about one of our SERVICE dogs. I was walking my 2 service dogs on leash early in the morning (dark) and this lady is standing under some trees in all black. I was more than 10 feet from her when she started screaming "omg look at those big a$$ dogs! I hate dogs!" then starts running down the hill. Naturally, it drew my dogs' attention and the smaller one jerked the leash out of my hand and ran towards the lady. Never growled or barked didn't jump on her. Simply wagged her tail and crouched down smelling her feet and bottom legs. I had another dog and was trying to keep control while this lady is absolutely FREAKING out screaming and running around. I got the leash for my smaller dog and walked back inside after repeatedly asking the lady to please stop screaming. Our dogs are PTSD service dogs trained to sense anxiety and panic in a person and react to it in a loving and social way and she posed NO threat to this lady. The hotel did NO investigating other than looking at a video where the dog pulled the leash from my hand...conveniently the lady was out of camera view so you couldn't see her ANTICS that CAUSED THE WHOLE SITUATION TO HAPPEN! She then LIED to the front desk saying my dog was aggressive and tried to attack her and the hotel didn't care to hear our side of the situation, they just made us check out immediately, and THEN TRIED TO CHARGE MY CARD $350???? Absolutely APPAULING!!! To be a pet-friendly hotel, they are certainly not friendly to the pets or pet owners! The lady kept saying she was attacked by a dog when she was little (this lady was at LEAST 35 years old)...then tell me why you stay in a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL??? I will NEVER stay at Woodspring again and corporate and a lawyer will be contacted about this unfair and unprofessional occurrence. If you have dogs DO NOT STAY HERE! They can and will put you out for ANY reason and will not refund you and will try to take MORE MONEY from you! DISGUSTING!!!! read more

Terrible and disgusting. Between the pubic hair on the shower floor and the bedding that clearly smelled of body odor this hotel definitely does NOT follow even basic hygiene practices let alone "elevated" hygiene practices. Kids were playing in the hall way with an electric car until 2am. Construction worker smoking marijuana in the parking lot....it's a no from me. Never again will I stay in any Hampton inn......didn't sleep a wink. And area is sketchy. The best part was the hotel employee who checked us in and spoke to me like I was a child with an attitude that literally shocked me. read more

We stayed overnight at the Hampton in Stockbridge expecting its usual above average experience. The check in went smoothly and the front desk agent was a delight. The room was a king/spa room, and the large jacuzzi tub was awesome. The bed however, was one of the worst nights sleep we have had. When we sat on the bed you could not only hear springs but feel them as well. We both got about 2 hours sleep. Upon checkout I informed the front desk agent, and she did not apologize or offer to credit any portion of our $220 room. She said, she would tell maintenance to check it out and thanked me for bringing it to her attention. I am a Hilton Honors member, and needless to say, I am not happy and will not be visiting any Hampton's anytime soon. Also, the hotel room was very tired, and could use some paint repairs and freshening up a bit. On the plus side, breakfast selections and quality were excellent. read more

Great room. It was really big. I loved the living area being separate from the bedroom. The bathroom was huge also. The room was outdated though. It was in need of a major renovation. The cabinets in the kitchen area looked very old and they were hanging crooked. These rooms should have a full refrigerator like the location near the airport. I was really happy with the location of this hotel. It was right next to the highway and within walking distance to restaurants, a grocery store, and other shopping. The main road is busy though, so you could walk, but it would be better to drive. There were fresh cookies in the dining area when I arrived and they tasted amazing. The front desk person, her name began with an O, was very helpful and pleasant. My room was clean when I got in; it should have been because when I arrived at 3:30 p.m. to check in it wasn't ready yet. I had ample towels and extra blankets. This roomm was so spacious. I absolutely loved that aspect of it. I would stay again once they renovate. read more

The room was comfortable, a little old and could use a renovation. The lighting was yellow fluorescent light, and instead of settings warm mood it made you look jaundice. But it was clean and roomy. Main reason for this review is for the staff and mainly Orr at the front desk. She was the most pleasant person you will find. We arrived about 20 minutes after our scheduled arrival time only to be told the room wasn't ready. I asked when it would be ready and was told that they didn't know. The MOD said they were busy and then walked away leaving the property. I emailed the General Manager but she never replied. I travel a lot and always try to stay in Hampton Inns. The property had been updated and our room was one the the best we have stayed in. Sad the local management doesn't seem to care. On my next trip I am staying at the Hampton in Morrow. For my daughter's birthday, I wanted her to have a couple of friends for a sleepover somewhere with an indoor pool since her birthday is in November. I picked the Hampton Inn because of their ratings, their location, and the indoor pool. Kelly at the front desk was very courteous, the king suite is very nice for a decent price, the pool is clean and not cold, and the breakfast is really good also!! This is without a doubt the worst hotel I have stayed at so far in my life. We had a 1 king bed suite and when we entered it smelled terrible, almost like mildew. The cabinets were broken and when I asked for the maintenance to come in to fix it the next day they never came and fixed it. The front desk overnight agent also told us that she would make sure we wouldn't get charged for the damages, I would not pay if she did charge me. It is not my fault the rooms are held to such poor standards. The shower curtain rod was broken so every time you showered it would flood the bathroom. The breakfast wasn't that good. There was a loud party that was in the lobby area being obnoxious the whole three nights that I was there. The front desk didn't seem to mind regardless of complaints. This place lacked professionalism and care for the upkeep of there hotel and it shows. The only thing that was ok about my stay was the pool and the spa wasn't even working and the fitness center smelled terrible. Overall this hotel was terrible and will never stay there again. I was disappointed to say that this was a hotel within the Hilton collection. read more
