DO NOT COME - if you're expecting direct communication, understanding -- or traveling with a group of children. The staff immediately gets nasty! I'd like to begin by saying during our stay we were more than willing to abide by the rules set forth by comfort inn. We arrived on a Saturday at 10pm with a group of girls (8 preteens) for rest and a quick practice in preparation for a dance competition. We asked could we use the conference room --knowing it was later into the night ; just to prevent any noise issues while there; so our girls could practice. The front desk agent - who seemed irritated that we arrived with children: called her boss who refused saying we needed a contract for incidentals. We offered to wait for one to be typed up but the manager stated it had to be keyed a week in advance. We had proper forms of payment for the incidentals as we only needed the room for an hour or so and not a full days contract -- and were again refused. In order not to bother neighboring guests on the floor of our rooms( the time is now 11:15) we went to the 24 hour fitness room. The next night attendant came around the corner stating "she herself could not hear us" but her manager called from home telling them to shut down the 24 hour fitness center as a liability ... Saying it was not meant for "dance" - which in fact is fitness- when questioned why ...the excuse of "a mirror could fall" was given -- which doesn't make sense because a mirror could fall while someone was using any of the gym provided equipment. Nonetheless we were kicked out of the 24HOUR fitness center and it was "closed" for the rest of the night. (The time is now 11:35) We then moved to the lobby- where we were told we couldn't use the chairs - or move them : because the lobby closed at "12" and we would have to leave. (The time is now 11:50) 8 brown girls and 2 brown women quietly practicing their routines (to counts -- no loud music ) were interrogated the whole time we were at this location. The $100 HARD CASH incidental fee per room-- we were not informed of, but happily paid it. The short and snappy women we dealt with - the "I just work here attitude" nobody was willing to assist. It got to the point we were made to be a burden from arrival to departure. As an owner of a traveling majorette team; totaling over 50 dancers-- not including parents and supporters; we typically travel often. In this specific case I had 8 of my 50 --- Due to the service received; Comfort Inn will not be receiving the business of myself or my business partner personally. We also will refuse to use comfort inn - in any city when traveling for our business going forward. We were considering leaving the premises and going to neighboring hotels that would accommodate our needs-- HOWEVER; the time is now after midnight; and the girls have eaten and unpacked in their rooms. Due to the time: we would've taken the loss on 2 rooms and received subpar service. read more

The room appeared clean when we checked in, however, upon closer inspection the walls in each room were smeared with a variety of bodily fluids. I will attach pictures. My youngest daughter wanted to sleep on the fold out couch and that mattress was disgusting. It looked to be smeared with Flaming Hot Cheetos, and spilled fluid. Just gross feeling. Yuck. read more

ONE BEDROOM SUITE; one of the worst if not the worst floor plans I have ever seen. Architect should be sued for such a crappy design. Will not return for this one reason. Otherwise, hotel was clean breakfast was average except no real cream for coffee. Traffic in front of hotel is horrible during rush hour. But price was good. read more

The place was ok but breakfast "to go bags" because of covid stopped at 9am on a weekend :( Also, they arent serving coffee because of covid(besides the gross room coffee). It was not accomodating at all. I know Covid is upon us but don't take away coffee & at least breakfast til 10 on a weekend. Overall it was pretty clean. read more

I would not stay here again. The place need a major updating. The carpets need to be replaced & the first elevator stunk. The blankets on my beds were peeling, the throws at the foot of the bed had bleach stains. The breakfast was not good although the lady who prepared it was very nice and caring. I could tell she gave preparation of breakfast her all, but the food sucked. The shower was the smallest thing I've ever seen. The microwave had a turn dial & did not heat properly. My toilet was not cleaned well the first day I checked in. Housekeeping did a better job the second day, However, you only get one chance to make a first impression. I would not walk around my room without shoes on, made sure my door was bolted before going to bed, and couldn't wait to check out. Don't waste your money. It's really the staff that makes this place great. You just cannot go wrong at a hotel in which you and the staff are in the hotel kitchen scouting for milk and cookies--just really laid back, down home vibe! And the breakfast!!! I'm not sure what sister girl puts in the eggs, but they rock!!! And no body is telling me what it is in them. Good location for a slightly above average hotel in Stockbridge Georgia. Free continental breakfast is subpar. I recommend real plates and cutlery. You have to staff to wash them and it adds to the experience. Rooms recently remodeled. They are specious. Back deck/ patio is in despair. It would be inexpensive to fix this and greatly adds to the experience. Front desk is nice enough, but some what subdued. Recommend you energize the staff. I would never stay here again. First off I reserved a double bed and upon arrival was told that they were completely booked and I would have to settle for a king size bed which would have been fine if I wasn't traveling with children. Once we got to the room there was mold in the shower. The toilet was not clean and the hallway smelled like mildew. I went to the desk to ask to be moved or either they could refund me and I would check into another hotel and I was told they could not accommodate me at all. We stayed for two nights and I was excited to leave. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The customer service was horrible. Then I emailed corporate and they offered me 1000 points. Why would I need the points? I will never ever stay at a choice hotel again. Also the pool area had the strongest chlorine smell ever. My kids couldn't even enjoy the pool because the chlorine was so strong. Never ever again would I stay here. Absolutely unacceptable. Also our smoke detector was missing. read more

The young lady by the name of Meagan was rude and very disrespectable. Considering when i was about to check in she was outside with a young male smoking a cigarette. If this a person who runs this hotel thinks this young lady has customer service skills, he's wrong. never look at a person and judge the book by its cover. I didn't check in the atmosphere was so ghetto and not very profession at all. YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE DESPORATE TO STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! This was my first time making a reservation with this hotel, I WILL NEVER RESERVE WITH THEM AGAIN!!!! The general Manger (Wayne) is very nasty, i asked about early check in since I'm here from another state he said no I was fine with that but I called back about 230pm to ask if I could check in then as I had an apt @3pm he seemed very irritated by my question I told him about his tone and he said i was judging him and proceeded to CANCEL my reservation stating because I judged him that he didn't want my business. So just know if you have an opinion about the service your receiving being unsatisfactory your reservation will be canceled by Wayne. He doesn't like to be told about his unprofessional attitude. I now have to try and find other accommodation because of his poor customer service. This is unacceptable!!! read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the way management handled a situation.. after driving 13 hours, we were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub & pool. What we got, was a bunch of black girls in the hot tub, who were chanting, and screaming.. loud, rude & obnoxious. I asked them to stop.. they laughed & continued. I walked down to the front desk & complained; mgt. said they rec'd several complaints on them, but THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT!! They didn't call their rooms and get the parents, nor did they kick them out.... And then, the following morning, they had trashed the breakfast area at 7AM!! they took up 3 table, plus the coffee area. One of the girls was eating, standing up,, no shoes on... and using her fingers!! GROSS We asked for a refund,& we were told to fill out a formal complaint on line.. well, here it is. Really a shame. I am here on business and called the front desk at approximately 11:15PM to get the internet code, as I was not given it on check-in. After several failed attempts, someone answered and it was very obvious this call was forwarded to a cell phone at a bar. The male on the other end started yelling at me over a crowd that I was given a piece of paper from a lady when I checked in (which I was not - and was actually checked in by a male) and then said there was a placard next to my tv with the code (which there was not.) He became more upset and confrontational with me. I then found a placard on my desk (nowhere near my tv) with a code and told him this. There happened to be three separate placards (no where near my TV) with three different codes on them - two of which were obviously wrong. He then thought he hung up and started complaining to his friends, "these motherf*ckers are so stupid -they expect you to wipe their ass for them - I'm so sick of these motherf*ckers," before the line hung up. This is not the place to stay if you need to do business - unless you get berated by a drunk for not getting an internet code from the person who checked you in Stay away from this terrible place. read more

This was my first Comfort Suits experience and I was very pleased. The rooms are very big, tall ceilings, nice TV's, very nice bathrooms, and the best part was the super comfy bed! They have an average gym, an indoor pool, and a big patio that we were able to grill on (had to buy our own grill). Average hot breakfast, with a nice dining area, and friendly staff. Stockbridge is a nice area, not a whole lot to do, but its a pretty south Atlanta area. 15 min from airport, and 25 min from downtown. O'Charleys is pretty good for food right down the street. Walmart at the end of the road to the East too. read more

Spent one night before our flight home, the front desk clerk.....Regina was SO friendly and informative about where we could have dinner! Our room was immaculate with the coolest a/c ever!!! The bed and all the bedding was wonderful!! I could have stayed longer than one night!!! Maybe next time!!! Definitely recommend!!! read more

Can not recommend: don't plan on sleeping in, the noise on the 1st floor is bad (guests AND staff). Rear access door did not work, chair in room was falling apart..dirty. Price high, value bad. read more

This was our second stay here and was as nice as our first. It seems to be a newly built/remodeled hotel. It is very clean from the lobby to the rooms. The beds are very comfy. The location of the hotel is convenient to many restaurants. We definitely plan to stay here again when in the Atlanta area. read more

I will never go back here. We paid for our room with cash upon check out. When I got home and checked online banking, I realized they had charged me twice in addition to my deposit. We stayed two nights and they charged me $240, and then another charge for $117 which makes no sense since we paid with cash. They also withheld $90 for the deposit (which I completely understand). What I don't understand is why my account was charged an additional $240 plus $117 when I paid with cash and had my receipt to show it. These funds were not put back into my account for a full week. When I called and asked the front desk about it they were rude and told me my BANK debited those additional charges for incidentals. Which is 100% not true as I have never had bank of america randomly decide they would pull out extra money for a hotel stay. I then requested to speak to a manager and was told by the manager "If you cant afford to stay here then we can't do anything about it. Its standard procedure." I then went all the way up the chain to corporate and no one....not one person was ever able to tell my why my account had these charges on them. Its obvious the front desk made a mistake and authorized these additional charges, but not one person in the company was able to apologize for the mistake or even admit that anything was out of the ordinary. Whats funny is we stayed with a group rate which was $79.00 for two nights. The additional changes are not even for the $79.00. Its like they made a number up and decided to debit my account two more times. To make it worse I saw an employee spit on my car when cleaning out side. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want to pay close to to $450 dollars when it really should have been $79 to stay and not be able to access your money for a week.
