We stayed at the Dury Inn April 26 to May 2nd. The room was clean. The front desk employees were all pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed the option of free breakfast and dinner. We were also able to get 2 cocktails complimentary during happy hour. I wrote this review because we are pleased with our stay and will be returning. Parking was free and secure. We were on a road trip and I decided to book Drury hotels for most, if not all of our hotel stays. Joanie checked me in and was very pleasant. Since we checked in as the Kickback Hour was occurring, she assisted me as quickly as possible because they cannot serve you alcohol after 7pm. The kickback hour is such an amazing idea/concept. It is just as fulfilling as the breakfast buffet! Plus, you get 3 alcoholic drinks to enjoy that are included. There is usually beer, wine, scotch, gin, rum, vodka, and I believe tequila. There is also a soda fountain machine for anyone who does not drink. The menu changes daily for the kickback hour but they only work off of 3 different menus they rotate. Every night, there is a form of potato side and vegetables. As well as nachos and cheese, hot dogs with buns, and some sort of main dish. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a long drive the following day so we decided not to go too crazy with going out that evening. We went out for drinks and a bite to eat and just chilled at the hotel most of the evening. We spent a couple of hours sitting in the lobby/lounge areas. Breakfast was good but smaller than other Drury buffets I have been to. We usually find this brand to be superior to most other brands but this location is struggling. The breakfast area is crowded, not well organized (eg coffee is in a corner that results in extra crowding) and understaffed. The premade pancakes were extremely tough from over mixing and drenched in oil. We needed maintenance for a plumbing stoppage and they came and dropped off a plunger instead of coming in to investigate or address our concern! The TVs in the hotel were all offline and IT wasn't responding to requests from the front desk to fix them. The staff were kind and well mannered when approached; although not the chipper, go-out-of-their-way type, like what we've experienced at other Drury's. The beds were super comfy and the rooms were clean though! read more

On our way to Michigan we stayed at the Chattanooga location and it was 5/5! So we decided to book another Drury Inn on the way back but this time in Morrow... yeaaaa no. Find somewhere else. You can hear the cars all night, the train.. the room did seem clean but I honestly felt so itchy in the bed. Whatever laundry detergent is used smells god awful. No sleep -5/5. Overall, I have to give them a five star because we really like this hotel. The rooms are very nice and they seem clean. We never have a problem with them. The personnel is wonderful. They're always kind and friendly. They have an evening happy hour and the food is OK and then the continental breakfast in the morning and the food is OK. We are passing through and had to stop to rest the employees are friendly the atmosphere is laid back but area is sketchy. It's the location i mean people where propping doors open in the back where anyone could come in and out along with the pool. The pool was dirty like it looked like toilet paper floating in the pool. People where letting people in that were not staying at the hotel to swim very sketchy people i was laying out and had to go back to my room i was uncomfortable being out. I never ate there food so idk how that taste. They do have robot security that go through the parking lot all night. The good: there is ample gated parking. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and friendly. There's hot coffee early in the morning. The not so good: the hotel is very dated, which normally would not bother me, but the room smelled of musty , moldy stench. When checking to see if I could change anything on the ac unit, I found the carpet was wet in front of the ac. No wonder the smell. We could hear people above us, around us, it was just loud, not good for sleeping. I love Drury but this location needs a refresh. read more

We are loyal Drury Inn patrons so I'm a bit sad to write a negative review. I would rate this place 2.5 out of 5. On the positive, Front desk staff were nice. But unfortunately lots of negatives. Parking lot required code access and while we were waiting to check in saw people letting non guests get their cars into the lot. That was a bit sketchy. Had to change rooms because there were so many teens hanging out in our hallway by our room door. Hotel Location is right between a major highway and a railroad track. It is incredibly loud inside the room from the outdoor road noise (at all hours) and train noise. Makes it hard to sleep. They truly need better sound insulating windows. Breakfast was a literal mess, I don't think staffing was able to keep up with demand and things were very messy and in need of refills. Soda machine was off or broken so no ice or pop available. Eating area is relatively small so we opted to take our food back to the room to eat. Room (standard King) was quite small, not even room for a chair (other than the desk chair). Room was clean except for a noticeable pile of hair in the shower which was gross. If we are passing this way again, we will not stay at this hotel. read more

My husband and I live here in GA, but we had a wedding to attend with a 2day event so we decided to get a room for a few days. We never stayed at the Drury INN in Morrow. The whole experience from checking in to the room service, and the meals were wonderfu. Everyone was so nice, professional and helpful. The check out process was a bit disappointing. I informed the young lady that I was checking out. I placed my door key on the counter, she grabbed the basket that the keys were in put it in my face and said put your key here. Then slammed the basket back on the counter. She asked me if I wanted the receipt Emailed or printed. I asked if everything was OK because of her attitude. She said yea why. I told her she seemed upset. She told me no and asked if I wanted to talk to a manager. I told her no. I was not going to get upset and was heading to a wedding. Not everyone should be at the front desk dealing with the public. It almost ruins the whole stay. But I understand it's not the hotels fault. But I thought I'd write a review. This is the second Drury I've stayed @ now and I will say that there pretty decent. I'm a long time Choice Diamond member as well as a Marriott member and these are right there with them in quality. The only issue I had was there wasn't any soap for bathroom use but that's ok I did have a bar of dial that I carry with me. Breakfast was oatmeal and a banana. I missed dinner by 10 minutes so I don't have a clue what they had then. read more

The hotel staff was awesome and the women who cooked did an amazing job and also asked if there was anything else we needed. WARNING: If you are a light sleeper this hotel might not be a good choice for you! 1) The hotel is located directly next to railroad tracks. The train passes by at 12:30AM and approx 6:00AM and blows its horn while passing the hotel. 2) The hotel has VERY thin walls. If people in the room next to you talk loud, have TV volume loud, or have a barking dog (not sure if pets are allowed, the people next to ne definitely had one and it barked!) you will also hear every time the people next door or above you flush the toilet or take a shower. I'm a VERY VERY heavy sleeper and each of these things woke me up the two nights that I stayed here. Other than the noise, I do like this hotel. There are many stores, restaurants and a mall nearby. Breakfast here is pretty decent. The nightly happy hour here was a pleasant surprise. Would I stay here again? Probably, but I would definitely bring earplugs for a better night's sleep. read more

The bad: The hallway had been flooded because some idiot decided to pull the fire alarm day before and set off the sprinklers in the hall. The hall was flooded with trash can and fans. The bed was very hard and the traffic noise was horrible. Hard to sleep. The Good : Our check-in was very good. The lady at the front desk was pleasant. I stayed here for the weekend for Imagine Music Festival. The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean. This Drury Inn has everything you need for a comfortable stay for travelers, and more. Our room had two full sized beds with four pillows. We had a large screen tv with working remote, a microwave, mini fridge, desk, and a lot of electrical outlets for everyone staying in our room. The shower had strong water pressure and always had hot water. The a/c unit mostly worked; I thought the room was usually warmer than what the thermostat read, but it was never uncomfortable. The room fee includes breakfast. They have a rotating menu of dishes, but usually eggs, a meat (bacon, sausage), a bread (pancake, waffle, toast), oatmeal, fruit, cereal, and juices and coffee. The food is fresh and a great way to start the day. They are strict on the food hours though; the staff will move you to the lobby area after hours so they can clean the dining room. The best part of our stay was the daily Happy Hour from 5:30- 7 pm. For every day that you stay, you get a card that gives you three free drinks during this time. They also provide light bites and snacks, such as hot dogs, nachos, baked potato, and pasta. The bartenders do NOT play at happy hour; they are heavy-handed in their pours and they also offer double and triple pours to get your drinks in before happy hour is over. They have several televisions in the dining area, and lots of tables to sit and relax. This was one of the coolest services provided by a hotel that I have stayed at, and it really goes above and beyond what is expected in a hotel stay. There is a pool, which requires room key entry. The parking lot also requires key entry, but the front drive-thru area makes it easy for Ubers to pick you up. Located right off of I-75, this Drury Inn is a reliable and hospitable place to stay if you're visiting the area or traveling through. read more

You can't go wrong staying at a Drury Inn. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly. There is a train track that runs down the side of the hotel. While waiting for the kickback (that is free dinner and 3 free drinks). I stepped out to enjoy the weather and the train went by. I was excited to see and hear the train it wasn't very long but kids would love it. The kickback started at 5:30 and last till 7:00. On the menu that night was tacos tortillas -black beans rice and then all the toppings - baked potatoes -soup -chili and hotdogs and salad. Chip so you can make nachos. Free pop and three free drinks Beer- Wine or mixed drinks for people over 21. In the morning free breakfast Monday through Friday breakfast is 6 o'clock to 9:30 and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 to 10:00 so people can sleep in. Breakfast you can make your own waffles -sausage eggs -biscuits and gravy -pastries -cereal -yogurt. Indoor pool and exercise room. driving to Florida from Ohio, we decided to plan for a stop on the way down. since we'd had a great experience at the Drury outside Columbus, OH that we decided to book a room at Drury (Atlanta/Morrow). after driving all day we got there to discover they'd not saved a room for us (reserved a King room for one night) so the attendant upgraded us to a suite on the 3rd floor. cool. great. i wasn't planning to stay up anyway. it was about 8:30-9:00pm (maybe 9:30) and we'd been driving all day. I didn't sleep much the night before and I was tired and planned to take advantage of the 11am checkout and sleep till 10:30am. my plans were not considered, though, by whomever began barging through the stairwell door outside our bedroom at 4:30am. what the actual hell? i don't know if it was an employee or an inconsiderate a**hole customer, but 4:30am??!??! i was livid. i couldn't get back to sleep, though, thankfully Danielle was able to sleep (how?). anyway, i had to just sit and watch TV until she woke up and we went to have breakfast downstairs and leave for Florida. we'd been here once before back when it was Fairfield Inn but never again. Despite the staff, who were very friendly, I'll avoid this place in the future. read more

We have wanted to stay in this hotel chain for many years. We finally tried it last night. I have to say we are not disappointed. The beds are better than the Hamptons. The room is spacious day split bathroom is very accommodating. The grab bars are appropriately placed. The breakfast was amazing. Everything had been adjusted to meet Covid requirements so instead of having a Buffay they have a server who repaired your plate. I much prefer this to an open buffet any day of the week. Everything was hot the eggs were delicious and the only thing that was missing was an almond or plant-based creamer. We did get the opportunity to speak with the manager and he took note of that particular item. I found that the hotel chain is not publicly traded but owned by a single-family that had started the chain in 1974. An absolute delight so nice to see a family take the amount of pride in ownership in providing a superior product. We will stay in Drury Inns again. read more

The room is very CLEAN (not halfway) CLEAN! The bathroom and tub very CLEAN cause that makes or breaks it for me. The single bed is huge the 6th floor view is very nice. The dinner was a nacho bar with fixins..pasta..salad..hot dogs with fixins..chicken tenders and finally A BAR!!!! Yes let that encourage you to visit. Dinner ends at 7pm not sure when it starts. Breakfast the usual 6-9 am. I should probably wait to post breakfast but pictures make some uncomfortable...so I posted several here. Hope if in Georgia you consider to lay your head here. I have traveled all over the world and lived in multiple countries. I have stayed in expensive 5-star hotels. But no where I have stayed has topped Drury Inn & Suites (Morrow). The luxury hotels may have fancier furniture, but that's it. The staff here, and I mean every single person I interacted with, was top-notch friendly, accommodating and caring. This property is ultra clean and well maintained. I actually noticed nothing that needed attention. It is so well maintained that I was surprised to learn from the manager that they will begin a total renovation in August 2023 to bring an even better experience and more services to their guests. Among the many amenities are...Free WiFi, Free Breakfast, Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center and an evening happy hour that I consider free dinner. It's that good. There is a different meat, starch and vegetable every night along with free beverages, hotdogs, chili, nachos, fresh hot popcorn and more. AND each guest gets 3 FREE alcoholic drinks, wine, beer and a selection of mixed drinks such as margaritas, tequila sunrises and more. This would've been an amazing stay except for the new general manager. My family comes here all the time and we've never had an issue until now. When the pool was getting ready to close we sang happy birthday to my daughter with a cake. some woman in regular clothes began shouting at us saying that we can't bring food in the pool area. There was no sign anywhere that said no food was allowed. When I asked if she worked there, she said yes and asked us for our room number (totally unprofessional in regular clothes) we found out later she was the general manage, but she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She must've brought the hugs with her because we saw 3 roaches in our bathroom. the toilet was running so loud it sounded like the shower was on (they had to change our room). The next day the GM had on her badge and was in uniform and continued to make passive aggressive comments. We will be reporting her to corporate, but the black lady behind the next was very pleasant as always and we tried to make the most of this horrible experience. They need to hire a new PROFESSIONAL manager. I mean, who asks for a guests room number in regular clothes like a stalker? she was very creepy! read more

This is a very nice hotel and the staff was super pleasant (Angela was there at night when we checked in and it was Alyssa in the morning for our check out - both ladies were exceptional). The room was nice, clean and updated. There is a $40 pet fee. Hotel has a secured parking lot. OMGOSH! Run and stay as far away from this place as you can!!! It was awful! I was feeling a little apprehensive by the looks of the exterior. So after my husband checked us in, him and I went and had a look at our room before we unpacked all our kids and gear. Steeping foot inside this hotel and I was immediately hit by a stench that was nauseating. Not to mention it was as if the air conditioner wasn't on or working. It's HOT outside, 92* to be exact, with high humidity. The hotel felt just as hot! Upon walking in to was to be our room, for the evenings stay, I knew instantly we were NOT staying the night here. It was dirty, smelly, HOT and old. Like furnishings from when the place opened decades ago. We immediately went down stairs and asked to cancel our reservation. Thankfully at Drury Hotels you have til 6pm to cancel without being penalized. Onward to finding a cleaner, better hotel to rest our heads for the night. read more

We love Drury Inns! The quality is consistent across the many locations I have stayed. The staff at this specific location was amazing, everyone was super sweet and attentive. The breakfast and kickback (evening reception with hot food and cocktails) were both great and considering it's included in the price, amazing! The rooms are nice, with a desk and chair, armchair, fridge, and microwave. The closet is bigger than you'll need for a hotel. The shower and toilet are in one room with a separate sink area. The room was very clean. Throughout the hotel are seating areas, which is nice if you need a quiet place while traveling in groups. The area is 10 mins from a MARTA station, and about 20 minutes (without traffic) to Atlanta attractions (but take the MARTA and avoid traffic, it's super easy!) If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the side of the hotel furthest from I-75. For a mid-priced hotel, it's great! read more

Dirty, elevators that were all but inoperable, drug deal in the parking lot, evening food (which is pretty good elsewhere) that was inedible, even the mixed drinks tasted odd. I have stayed at many Drury Inns. This one was worse than any one star hotel. Very disappointed in Drury Inns for having such a poor facility. read more

Requested high floor quiet room, and was placed in room next to I75, horrible road noise all night. Charged $190, arrived at 7:30pm and checked out at 5am so did not enjoy breakfast or kick back happy hour. This will be my last stay at a Drury Inn in the Atlanta area. read more
