This hotel smells like pinesol, chlorine, dirt and mold had a party. My room wasn't clean. I checked in and then out again within 30 minutes. I was offered a different room but when I told them I couldn't take the smell, they said 2nd floor (which my room was on) was the worst and that the upper floors were better. They refunded me without any hassle though and staff was friendly.

Overall a nice hotel.. in the middle of nowhere. It's a good distance from Omaha airport. My cab fare ended up as $38. The room delivers. It isn't the cheapest though, at $139/night. Pros: Free Wi-Fi. Yay! Free continental breakfast, and I'm not talking about just pastries. They have yogurt, fruit cups, chocolate milk, hash browns, and scrambled + hard-boiled eggs. Friendly staff Nice large beds Decent washroom, no complaints there. Air conditioning! This one is the baller model. It's controlled by the room thermostat. In other words, no fidgeting with the modes/settings. Pretty decent pool. It's not the deepest at 1.5m (deep end), but the water is very clean. And lastly.. FREE BEER EVERY AFTERNOON, as it's Happy Hour before 1900. I am not kidding. This deserves a star alone. It's not just beer. It's also free wine, nachos, and Swedish meatballs. See pics. Cons: TV channels are not HD. So it's all grainy. Staff tend to disappear at night. Took me a few minutes to find the guy. No real food around here. There's a strip mall to the South, but that's it. I guess you can't expect much when you're located next to a highway.

It was convenient to stay, so that the little ones could swim while others went upstairs to rest after the party.

Wonderful Stay and Exceptional Customer Service!…read more My husband and I stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Omaha, Nebraska, for 4 nights and 5 days, July 20-24, 2026. My husband was in Omaha for business, and I came along to accompany him. From the moment we arrived, the customer service from the front desk staff, Kylie and Hera, was exceptional. They were both welcoming, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. One Tuesday was such a beautiful day, and I wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Unfortunately, there wasn't an outdoor seating area for guests. I asked Kylie if I could take a chair outside, and she checked with management, but they said no. However, Kylie went above and beyond--she offered me a lawn chair of her own so I could sit outside. I was so touched by her kindness. I sat outside for about four hours reading and enjoying the beautiful day. When I came back in to return the chair, Hera told me Kylie had already left and that I could keep the chair until I was finished with it. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend that the hotel consider adding some type of outdoor seating area for guests. It would be wonderful on nice days for guests who want to sit outside, read a book, relax, or wait for a ride. We also had a small issue with our television going on and off, which required us to move to another room. Hera was very accommodating and helpful throughout the situation. Although these things were minor mishaps during our stay, having staff members like Kylie and Hera who were willing to help and make our stay more pleasant made all the difference. The hotel was clean, the bedding was comfortable, the towels were nice and soft--not scratchy--and the complimentary breakfast was definitely a plus. Thank you, Microtel Inn & Suites, for a comfortable stay. And a very special thank-you to Kylie and Hera for your kindness, wonderful customer service, and for making us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Omaha!

The hotel itself was a Holiday Inn exactly what you would expect. The quality and service were great. The pool door lock is broken, which was great for us because we didn't have to fight with it but if you have a young child or a child who would go on their own, just a note. Wheelchair accessibility: so this hotel had the lightest hotel door we have ever encountered. It was easy for my partner who uses a chair to open the door on their own both in and out of the room. The room itself was very nice, spacious and had enough enough to navigate. The bed was a little high. The bathroom has a built-in shower bench with grab bars however, the controls for the shower are completely out of reach from anybody using the shower bench. The handle for the shower is really hard to turn and could probably use some WD40. The parking lot you can tell has been there for a little while and so the sidewalk is a little rough to navigate with a chair and I would assume with a stroller. But there is plenty of accessible parking. All in all next time we're in Omaha will probably stay here again.

Positives- lots of places to eat around, friendly staff, fancy coffee machine in lobby. Negatives- this place needs some maintenance. The pool has grime that's built up around the pool. Spa was broken. Treadmill was broken. Stains on the floor. Sounded like someone was running above us all night. Breakfast was like the bare minimum compared to other IHG properties.

Shelby was so kind in assisting us in the reservation for our family (2 adults, a toddler who needed a crib, a dog and a cat!). From here, Miranda checked us in and we saw her frequently on the night shift. She was always extremely friendly, informative, and helpful! These ladies deserve a medal for outstanding service! And lastly, Thomas! He was so helpful in pushing our reservation for us a couple nights when we got delayed in leaving our original destination. We saw him each morning and he was always just so friendly and keeping busy with stocking, cleaning, etc... but still took a moment to wish you a good day with a great big smile! This was THE best hotel stay I've ever experienced (and I've had a lot traveling every 2 weeks for work for well over a year)! I would recommend this hotel and this staff to anyone looking in the area (my mother is coming to Bellevue for a short work contract and already reserved a room here too!). Thank you to the staff here! I didn't catch the names of some of housekeeping but those ladies were also just as kind and attentive to requests or needs. All around, this is a wonderfully great hotel stay and experience!

My conference is also yards away so I didn't even need my rental car except to get to/from the airport. As a matter of fact, I can't think of a base that had a more conveniently located Lodging facility in terms of on base facilities. Perhaps the Miramar Inn at MCAS Miramar can beat it in terms of convenience but that's the only one I can think of and it may be a tie... plus Miramar is in San Diego so I may be biased because San Diego is pure paradise. But if a member in one of the Sea Services was forced to spend a week at a base far, far away from the ocean, I think one can't go wrong staying here. It also checks my three "must have" boxes: free WIFI (although I'm only seeing 2MB down and up), a mini-fridge and a microwave. I'm here for work so I don't need anything other than a place to perform 4S Operations* and to nuke my cans of Chef Boyardee. *Yes, I realize that there are five, even six S's to be performed in one's room but I don't intend to shine anything on this trip and I don't have much to shampoo these days. So for me, I'll take my four S's and call it good. And yes, for those with their minds in the gutter, I recognized there indeed can be 7, 8 and 9 S Operations that can be performed in ones room but at that point I don't believe convenient location or the fact that a microwave is provided is a high priority to you.... certainly CAC readers are not. Thank you for your time.... That is all.
