The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Dead roaches in the stairways, mold in showers, broken beds, broken tiles falling off the walls, sweet fella at the front desk that steals from you, and a mediocre breakfast. Went with a sports team and they managed to overcharge every single family. Not just with our team, every family in the hotel playing. When addressed, the grifter behind the front desk justified the overcharge, then was reprimanded and forced to refund the families by the tournament coordinator. If you're a spots team, do NOT stay here. read more

I have to give this place 5 stars, based on the price and the location. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean, and it's very convenient to the casinos - in fact, there is an indoor walkway between the hotel and the casino for when the weather is bad. They have a mini fridge and a microwave. The parking lot is safe, and although it's close to the interstate, the road noise is very minimal. The breakfast is on the interesting side, but I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! read more

I come here for work quite often and always stay here. Staff is friendly and it's super clean. They have a workout room and pool. They clean rooms daily if you want it cleaned and in winter months they have a soup every night in the crock pot. Long hallway leads you to the Ameristar casino and you don't have to go outside to get to it when it's super cold here. There's a restaurant in the casino you can eat at also which is very convenient. read more

I will solely give stars for where it's due. The receptionist at the front desk is really nice and friendly upon checking into my hotel room. Very clean presentation upon entering. The room was very clean and well taken care of. I loved that you can walk to the casino without stepping a foot outside using the connecting path to the hotel. My problems didn't incur until I was getting ready for bed after visiting the casino. The TV kept shutting off after every time I tried changing the channel on top of its HDMI not being plugged into the TV from the cable box... The bathroom sink doesn't drain and the lever is broken or attached! The bath tub itself has a really big crack in it as well which really disappointed me. I never have issues at these hotels or at this magnitude, so I'll look elsewhere upon future bookings in the Omaha area. 1.75 stars read more

This place was a big disappointment. First, they never disclosed that we have a pet fee and then they charge a $75 for the pet fee. This is crooked. The room key failed to work often. The woman with a long dark hair, kept messing up our room key, but made me wait in long lines to change the key and I had to leave my belongings and wait for that long time. I thought this was really rude. The tone of her voice was a bit vitriolic. The next morning, the woman with short blonde hair seem to agitated when I asked her to change the key and after the third time, I finally just gave up. The key was not working after many changes. Breakfast was gross. The only thing I liked about the place was that we could bring our dog. But charging us a Dog fee when it was never disclosed is the worst part. We will never stop there again on our way from Boulder to Chicago. read more

I took my grandkids to the Henry Dooly Zoo so we wanted a hotel close by that had a pool and good free breakfast. This hotel fit the bill. I did wish it had a hot tub. The staff and other guests were all friendly and we felt safe there. The breakfast was awesome and they even had honey for my coffee. We got a kick out of the nearby casinos robotic security in the parking lot lol. The beds were comfy, the room smelled fresh and the bathroom amenities were great. There is a railroad close by, but it was not disturbing to us. We would stay here again. read more

This is my go to spot in Omaha/Council Bliffs area. Main reason - It's connected to the Casino by a tunnel so when it's freezing cold outside or I'm just tired, I can simply head back to my hotel and walk over to dinner or drinks staying toasty warm. It's got beautiful river views put back that are fun to walk along. The hotel itself is a typical Hampton which is always a comfortable stay. read more

We stopped here for a night en-route to Mount Rushmore, SD and really enjoyed the stay! They have an EXCELLENT workout room. Everything was really clean. Parking was great. The hotel itself is ok. We had a reservation with a guaranteed accessible room with roll in shower. When we arrived, we were told our room was accessible but, it was a standard room. Upon returning to front desk we were told " Hilton screwed up." Basically, the hotel had been sold out the night before and our room was given to someone else. We can understand this happening but there were no wheelchair accessible rooms for that night. What was most annoying was the blaming of Hilton when it was basically an error at the local level. We had a room for the night and were switched to the other room for the next night but it was an inconvenience. The room was large but the bathroom was not to code for wheelchair users. It would be good if the staff had training which covered what people with disabilities need and what the ADA specifies is necessary for something to be considered "accessible." One staff person seemed to not quite understand what made a room work for a wheelchair user. The hotel was quieter than we would have expected and fairly clean. However, the roll in shower room needs a good cleaning. The manager, Esther, was very nice and genuinely seemed to care about guests. She worked hard to do her best for us in less than ideal circumstances read more

Went for the Men's CWS. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. But, the best part was that they shuttled us to and from the Charles Schwab stadium everyday. I will recommend staying there and we will be back. read more

We found this property very up to date. Our room was clean, and neatly attired. The bed was not up to our standard, but not every mattress fits every body type. We booked, checked in/out using the H Honors app being a H Honors member, which allows us contactless check in/out and the use of a digital door key using our smartphone. Got this room to stay the weekend for a baseball tournament. Played in the heat all day, thought it would be nice to come cool off by the indoor pool. Nope! Literally hotter in the pool area than outside and there's no where to sit and relax. Pool and hot tub are tiny. Also roasting hot in the hallways and the elevator. What a waste of money! The carpet in the bedroom next to the bathroom was damp and sticky after we showered. However the personnel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the attendant especially pleasant. Thin thin walls you hear everything in the hall. It was an extremely busy night for this hotel and at 4am it is finally quieting down. It was an extremely loud night. Seems we are sharing the hotel with like 60 wrestling teams and the obviously are done wrestling and are now partying. The halls have been full all night the lobby was a zoo. Craziest night I have ever spent in a hotel. I am just waiting for breakfast to open up so I can eat and get the heck out of here. So while the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The lack of insulation means you are at the mercy of the guests around you. When I went down to the front desk at 2:30 to see what was going on the lobby was a party and those loud guest were screaming at the front desk person that was trying to get them to quiet down. Hence why the front desk was not answering their phone as he was fielding calls from most of the floors in the hotel. First time ever I felt unsafe in a hotel lobby. So sorry Hampton Inn I won't ever stay here again. read more

The Good: Rooms are comfortable and clean Always has very hot showers Connected to a Casino The Bad: Parking can be difficult when tractor trailers decide to use the parking lot. Constantly doing work to the property which will keep some amenities closed While the walls are pretty good about keeping your neighbors sound drowned out, the cleaning crews start way too early and you can hear them pretty well. Overall, the stay was ok.... The beds were comfortable and even though we were assigned the room right next to the elevator, we couldn't hear elevator noise. Also, despite some reviews about the rooms stinking of cigarette smoke I found that our room did not have that problem. I would say, however, that on the spectrum of Hampton Inns this one was far from great. Carpets and flooring in the room were dingy and kinda dirty. The room was either laid out less well than other facilities or just smaller resulting in an inability to both put bags anywhere and walk. While we couldn't hear the elevator we definitely heard the kids running through the hallways pretty late into the night. Not sure if this place had a reception with food because the front staff didn't say... I think they were overwhelmed by the hordes or children and families there for a sporting event nearby. My visit here consisted of two weeks that was paid for by my work. The breakfast is absolutely terrible. You're lucky if the fruit is even fresh. The AC barely works and takes forever to even feel cool. The hot water in the shower was lukewarm. TV and accessories weren't plugged in so I plugged everything in myself. Maybe just a prior guest using the hdmi ports and plugs for something else. Also had to go down 3 times one night because my keycard was 'reset' by accident. Bed was comfortable at least. Parking is still a nightmare. Our non smoking room 415 reeked of cigarette smoke. But our room was directly across from the elevator which I thought might be a problem but happily was not. The rooms are remarkably sound insulated. Everything was clean and staff was courteous. read more

Thanks for the trip to the emergency room!! This place was horrible!! I guess smoke free doesn't mean smoke free anymore. As we walked into the room I was blasted by the most horrible, choking smell I have experienced in any hotel. I couldn't pin point the smell or the choking feeling in the back of my throat as we brought the bags into the room but as my throat started to close and I started feeling more and more anxiety I quickly realized I was breathing in about 2 years of smoke that had be ground into the carpets, the curtains and pretty much everything in the room!! Why?!! Why wasn't the room cleaned properly, why wasn't the room monitored since they advertise that it is smoke free. I didn't even have a chance to look around at the rest of the room as I had to escape the room and the hotel and take a trip to the emergency room since I couldn't breathe any more. Thank you for the trip to the hospital. I've never had such a bad experience at any hotel. Never again, I'll just keep driving next time I pass through this town. The worst part is I had to leave my father in-law at another room in the hotel that smelled like they left all the chemicals on the floor and all over the counters, I didn't even think about it at the time but now I'm wondering what they were trying to cover up in his room....never again...just keep driving. read more

The beds are AMAZING. The lady who does the weekend brkfst buffet is crazy friendly and helpful. She was a real pleasure since you could tell she loved her job. I was not pleased with the parking at the hotel, they had pipes running across the parking lot to pump water from the Ameristar somewhere besides into the flooding MO river. That means NO PARKING after 5 pm. Not the hotels fault, but a pain if you want to go our for dinner and not have to hike back to the hotel. The Holiday Inn next door was having a terrible 80's party in their banquet room which meant bleed over music in our room which sucked. Hampton fixed that issue quickly but when the doors opened it was annoying. Frankly, for the price compared to the other hotels in the area I would stay there again once the parking lot issue is fixed. The room was great, smelled wonderful, my only issue was the carpet was dirty. We had to wear our shoes to keep from ruining our socks or getting our feet too dirty to crawl into the wonderful fluffy beds. But the manager at the facility was very cool when i gave them feedback and it made me a huge fan of Hampton Inn. read more
