    Pool low

Pool low on water. Closed. Staff was filling pool .Musty/funky smell in room and hallway. Only ice machine working was on the first floor. Way overpriced i blame Hilton Honors App, but the area is nice with numerous eating options close by.

This is a ghetto hotel. Looks nice from outside but it is as if no one works here. Waited 5 min at front desk before someone came out. Elevator is damaged and dirty. Hallways are hot, and look as if they haven't been vacuumed in a couple days. Storeroom doors are standing open. No key needed to enter building or elevator. Room is dirty, not wiped down or vacuumed. And the pool!

There is no bed sheet. Fitted sheet, with a "comforter" that is supposed to be in a duvet.

Completely unacceptable, which has become par for Hampton Inn and slowly invading how other Hilton properties are run as well. The good here...the front desk person upon check in was very nice. Friendly, helpful with a dood recommendation, just a really nice person. The bad, and there is a lot...fruit flies all over the breakfast area. Coffee empty, no plates for food, no forks for food, all while 2 people handling breakfast were in the back chatting. When we politely notified them they were out of several things, they seemed annoyed. The microwave was flithy. While sitting downstairs for over an hour, no one ever came out to clean tables after use The food itself was garden variety "plastic" Hampton food. Nothing stood out. The rooms...well, first the hall carpet hadn't been vacuumed in some time. That's the first thing you notice before going into the room. The first impression of the room is it has gone through the latest Hampton update, but has already been shabbily repaired a couple of times. The blanket on the bed was worn and stained. I think it was clean, I hope, but this should've been thrown out long ago. Underneath that was a "comforter" of similar condition. It was not in the normal duvet cover so the stains were quite evident. Again, throw it out. The bed had no bed sheets. It did have a fitted sheet, but not other sheets. WTH? Finally, the plumbing...the toilet literally took 5 minutes after flushing to fill the tank. The sink, literally took 5 minutes to drain. Might be time to look into a new maintenance crew.

Horrendous. Don't stay here, the property is disgusting and they lie to Hilton corporate! We checked in around 9pm with a digital key in app. By 9:11pm I was on the phone with Hilton support requesting a transfer to another hotel because the room was absolutely disgusting. We checked for bed bugs. We leave and are trying to rebook at another nearby Hilton property. The on-site Manager asks if we're leaving because she noticed we were upstairs for all of 10 minutes. She chased us outside to ask what was wrong and we told her the room was gross and we weren't staying. She said she would let her manager know and we left. The manager here then lied and told Hilton the room was "used" to not get penalized. STAY AWAY!!

Hilton hotel was full and they refer us to this inn. It actually located in a nice neighborhood and convenient location. I was trying to checked in online but could not . I then came in late at night and the receptionist handed me the keys and said she already checked me in??? She was nice though . Room, bed set and shower definitely need some upgrades. Breakfast included that's convenient but the server was not that nice , showing attitude to everyone with raising voice and throwing stuffs strongly. Not prefer to be back here soon if I don't have to .

First and foremost I don't often look at reviews or even write them. But this place was so poorly ran. I felt the need to come to Yelp so anyone else wanting to spend their money here, would have the heads up to just sleep in your car instead. Let's start with the staff. Only Brittney at the front desk is worth anything to this company. Everyone else has either just not cared at all to do their job. Or has given attitude when asked for anything. I work in a job field that requires travel. Myself and 9 other guys have been here for almost 4 months... Why even stay here if you know it's so bad? Great question, between long hours and going home on the weekends, we have all hoped to receive better service. But every week, everyday we are let down. Finally after all this time we have decided to just change hotels. Everyone has had terrible service from our team. But I'll speak personally to my experiences in the last week. I show up and check in per normal. Room was 8/10 when checking in. No room service(cleaning) even upon asking for it. 6/10 If you beg? Still a slight chance it will get done. Constantly having to ask for the digital key to be accepted. Never getting fresh towels or linen. Attitude from the staff when asking for fixes to the issues. 4/10. The shower was clogged, when I lifted up the grate covering the drain I found an old bandaid and hair clogging the drain. Along with mass amounts of mold growing below. 1/10. You beg for room cleanings, you beg for common services and get nothing. My company has paid well north of 60k in hotel prices. And we get 1/10 service.... I travel for work. I'm a diamond member. I have stayed in some of the nicest places Hilton has to offer. I've stayed an some sketchy low end places. But this place.... By far takes the cake of the worst hotel/service I've ever received. I'll be writing Hilton corporate a personal letter regarding this horrific stay. Save you're money from this place, spend it at a Marriott or even the hole in the wall motel in the slums. - signed a 5 year diamond member of Hilton.

    Me relaxing in my room

This place has some of the slowest and rudest front desk clerks the housekeeping ladies don't offer clean towels there was hair all over the bathroom r

Shower floor with chips in the flooring.

Great location that felt safe. It's located near a business park. The room was comfortable and clean. The AC took a while to really kick in, but it was cold by the morning. The shower door was also a bit messed up - picture below. The disappointing part about this was the breakfast. I understand COVID hinders some things, but now I think the hotels are using it as an excuse to not provide a decent breakfast. There were 2 kinds of cereal and a few pre-packaged danishes. There were no waffles, fruit, yogurt, or hot breakfast options. It was highly disappointing, especially for the price we paid for the room.

When we got to our room we were amazed on how big the space was. We all had plenty of room so there was no overlapping of space between 3 people and there was plenty of nearby restaurants that we were able to walk to and Railroad Park to enjoy a day in the sun. The breakfast was good considering it was the holidays and the mini store was reasonably priced. My wife said that she would love to make this our regular hotel whenever we come in town. Great job!

The main reason we chose this location was because of the excellent experience we previously had at the Home2 Suites location in Hoover, Alabama. That property was superb, so we expected the same level of cleanliness and service. Unfortunately, the downtown Birmingham location fell far short of those expectations. Upon entering our room, it was clear that cleanliness was an issue. The bathroom sink had brown residue in it, the shower floor was dirty, and there was hair throughout the bathroom. I actually had to clean the bathroom myself before feeling comfortable using it. The couch in the room was also covered in visible stains, making it unusable for us during our stay. To make matters worse, the ironing board completely fell apart while we were trying to iron our clothes. As a result, we had to iron our clothing on the bed, which is far from ideal and does not provide the same results as using a properly functioning ironing board. This was another indication that the room furnishings and equipment were not being adequately maintained. I will say that the beds were comfortable, and the hotel's downtown location is very convenient. Being close to restaurants, entertainment, and other attractions was definitely a plus. Another major concern was the parking situation. Guests are required to pay for self-parking, yet there was rarely any available parking. To make matters worse, catering vehicles from Taziki's, a restaurant located across from the hotel, appeared to be occupying spaces in the hotel parking area. Those spaces should be reserved for paying hotel guests. While the location is excellent, that alone does not make up for poor cleanliness, poorly maintained furnishings, and a lack of attention to the overall guest experience. This stay was a stark contrast to the outstanding experience we had at the Hoover location. Because of that, we will not be returning to this particular property. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements so future guests can have a better experience.

My flight to Birmingham was cancelled upon arrival in Chicago at 9:30p and I could not get another flight to Birmingham for 24 hours, too late to attend my meeting. The issue: the reservation only provided a customer service number to "Customer Care" (an apparent south Asian company) who stated, after me waiting on hold for 45 minutes, that the 'guest hotel' did not "pick up their phone". So Customer Care was not able to tell the hotel I had to cancel due to a cancelled flight. No direct phone number to the hotel was given on my reservation confirmation paperwork. I was told by Customer Care I would receive confirmation of their contacting the hotel within 24 hours. TEN days later I still did not receive a confirmation that Customer Care contacted the hotel and was sent an email that same day that the hotel denied my request to cancel 10 days earlier and denied my request for a refund. So: -no obvious way to directly contact this hotel via reservation paperwork, only Customer Care -they did not pick up a call from their own contracted customer service provider -it took 10 days for their customer service provider to get back to me after multiple requests for an update -Hilton refused even a one day refund of the 2 days charged me for a cancellation that was completely out of my control due to an airline flight cancellation No reason to ever consider Hilton again

The rooftop bar was a nice place to sit and quiet enough to have a conversation. The view over the city was nice to have, although not especially exciting. Valet parking was quick and easy, and the only option. It was conveniently located downtown with a bunch of food options around, including coffee shops. I would rate this Hilton property 0 stars if we could. We are loyal Hilton Diamond members and have stayed at multiple Hilton properties around the world. This was one of the worst properties we have ever stayed at. We stayed here in February and from the time we attempted to check in, it was disappointing. We were upgraded due to our Diamond status and upon checking into our room it was absolutely disgusting. The bedsheets appeared dingy and the bathroom was gross. There was hair on the ground and a vomit stain on the tile. So vile! We called downstairs right away and were moved to another room that was not much better. However, we were there for a family function and has other guests arriving that we has suggested the hotel to. We did notify the manager on duty and he told us he would escalate our concerns. The next day, the hotel manager, Tonya was on sight and sat down and spoke to us regarding the issues. She agreed that our experience was 100% unacceptable and promised to compensate our Hilton Honors points for our entire stay. She assured us that she would make this happen. Also, despite our complaints and meeting with her, our room was never even serviced by house keeping our entire stay. Now over 1 month later after no follow-up call or email, we contacted her and at first she acted as if she has no idea what we were talking about. Then she stated she escalated the issue to corporate but was unauthorized to issue more than 20,000 points, which covers absolutely nothing. And stated there was not really anything for her to do! She totally and outright lied to us, after she had assured us in person and in an email that our entire points would be compensated. She even had the audacity to even yell at us on the phone. This is not the type of experience I expect as a loyal Hilton Diamond Member. In conclusion avoid this disgusting and poor quality Hilton property at all costs.
