This Hampton Inn is perfectly fine but nothing special. Being in Brattleboro for an overnight it was exactly what I needed. Free breakfast from 6-10am The pool is currently being renovated Free parking Designated parking for diamond members Free cookies at check-in Free item for diamond members at check-in The rooms are dated and could use a face lift. The walls are thin. The beds are comfortable and the shower pressure was nice in the bathroom. It was clean. It felt safe. I would stay here again if i needed to.

This probably one of the best places to stay while on your ski/snowboard trip. Decent complimentary breakfast with hot food, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal, pastries, bagels, fruits, and juice. There is coffee and tea available at the lobby all the time as well. Staff is friendly. One issue with this place or maybe just the area in general, the water pressure and plumbing is terrible. It is hard to flush even one piece of toilet paper down...

Incredibly rude and disrespectful service by Robert at the front desk. Avoid this hotel at all costs and specifically Robert.

The absolute only problem we had was that it was so very difficult to find. Directions were rather complicated as it is hidden on a very noice lot, behind a local grocery shopping center with only a small service road address near an interaction with a major road through town. You really cannot even see it from I-91 because of the trees. Remember, this is Vermont, land of big green trees. My best hint for those looking, even with a map, is to turn at the Hannaford Supermarket and take the service road to get behind it. Our room was more elegant than expected for a quick service hotel. Though the heat took some help in adjusting as the weather had turned suddenly cold, we got help from the desk and it turned out not to have been on the "heat" setting yet and then we had two warm cozy nights. It had better lighting than most and because of vision impairment, I need that. They had a nice breakfast laid out in the entry lounge though we opted for our fave donuts as we headed out early the first morning to get to Hanover to spend the day with friends where we knew food was waiting. The second morning we set out just with the hot drinks as it was very early and we needed to get in 3 hours of driving to the Providence airport to fly home. If I was to go to Brattleboro again, I would definitely stay here.

The hotel is newly renovated and the room was bright and spacious. The beds were comfy and the furniture in the room seems good quality and relatively new. Bathroom was bright and had great lighting. Bath area was clean and dry. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of hot food choices in addition to the traditional continental breakfast items. The lady who was in charge of the breakfast area was awesome. She checked to make sure each item had a good amount left in the tray, if not, she refilled it immediately. The only complaint was that the check-in time was supposed to be at 3:00 pm, but my room was not ready until almost 5:00 pm. We arrived the hotel at 4:15 pm and the front desk advised me that they would need another 5-10 minutes to wrap up the cleaning. We waited in the parking lot until 4:30 and walked back in to check with the front desk, she told me that they would need another few minutes and she said she would call me as soon as the room was ready. We waited in the parking lot and again we walked in to check at 5:00, guess what, she said the room was ready for us! Where was the call that we were supposed to receive "as soon as the room is ready"? ... this was quite disappointing.

From the moment you walk in you are treated with warm hospitality by the owners Judy & Phil along with their staff. Something that stands out is the staff have been the same, which speaks for the owners. I can't say enough about how friendly, accommodating, and welcoming, everyone. We stayed in the main building, in rooms 17, 15, 12 & 14 all have cozy accommodations that are spacious and very clean. Room 15 was a two-room suite with a gas fireplace that we enjoyed in the evening. Room 14 also has a gas fireplaced that we enjoyed. Our favorite room is 12 on the first floor with a private balcony. All the rooms have very comfortable beds, and each room has a small refrigerator. Each of these rooms all had a view of the mountains in the background. Breakfast is included and is served in the lovely dining room. Thersa is very friendly and always ensures we have everything. Breakfast starts with fresh baked muffins and fruit. There is always a selection for breakfast from eggs, omelets and either French toast, waffles or pancakes. I have enjoyed different omelets, the Cinnamon French toast, waffles w/strawberries and blueberry pancakes served with warm maple syrup that comes from a local farm. In the afternoon you can relax by the fireplace in the parlor and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a variety of fresh baked cookies that are set up for your enjoyment. I highly recommend having dinner in the dining room that is right on the premises at least one night during your stay. The chef prepares great meals, and the menu has a very nice selection. Service has always been exceptional. There is a nice selection of wine, beer and specialty cocktails to choose from. I would highly recommend taking a ride to the "Vermont Country Store" during your stay. The store brought us back to our childhood with the nostalgic toys, rows of penny candy and the original tins of "Charlie chips and much more! Judy and Phil, along with all their staff, are very kind and caring. Thank you all very much for a lovely stay. See you on our next stay. Kathy & Ray Milford, CT

I made a midweek reservation for three rooms via Priceline. Upon arrival, the rooms were booked as single king beds. We needed one of the rooms to have two Queen beds. The young man at the counter was confrontational and poorly trained. He treated the fact that I reserved the rooms through Priceline as some kind of insult. The hotel was empty and they refused to make one of the reservations for two queens rather than one king. The appeal to the manager was equally repugnant. The fact I've stayed there multiple times, am a choice rewards member in high standing was not considered. The staff was young and need to be taught how to resolve issues rather than instigate them. They charged me an extra $44 to change one room from a king to a double and were rude to my guests. The different I. The owner needs to invest in some training for these people. They were dressed like they just changed the oil on a truck and their demeanor was the reason people trash this younger generation of workers. Additionally, the owner just lost the business of people who stay at their property at least once a year. Please invest in some training for your manager and reception employees. If Priceline bookings offend the owner, try offering online prices through choice rewards website that are not 50% higher than your online prices through choice. Get rid of Priceline rather than do business with them if you feel the Priceline guests are of lesser value. Brattleboro needs strong businesses and the workers in the are need these jobs but they must be taught how to communicate properly with your guests.

They even threaten to charge a huge fee if you smoke in your room, while the filthy housekeepers are on the street smoking every 5 minutes. Our first room hadn't even been cleaned yet. The bathroom definitely needs an update despite being billed as authentic and vintage. For the money I can't recommend staying here. Maybe the other rooms are nicer b/c we were in a pet-friendly room, but we're not heading back.
