We are doing a cross country trip and heading back home and decided to stop here. My family is picky for a clean hotel. This hotel is very clean and updated! Jessica was super friendly and even gave us a snack at check in! Beds are amazing, and the tub is a lay down tub. This is a plus if you want to soak in a nice warm bath. Little shop downstairs for snacks and necessities too. There are three plug ins integrated into the dressers and side tables that have regular plugs, USB ports, and even a plug in for an internet cable. Flat screen TV too! I would stay here again, and would highly recommend.

But I'm just glad that I found this hotel that's conveniently located off the freeway and that allows pets.

Our stay at T Frere bed and breakfast…read more When me and my husband arrived at T'Frere's House Bed & Breakfast we were very excited to be staying at this B&B because of the history of the house. We were met a few mins after we arrived by Miss Donna she was very friendly and we quickly felt right at home. She showed us around the common areas explained door codes made us feel like we were family. We met Casey and he brought to our attention all the new art work that was acquired for the common rooms, as well as some more history of the house and the fact that soon there will be a small scale model of the house before it was remodeled hand crafted from memory i spired by a 96 year old man that grew up in the house but lives close by. We chose the Fais Do Do suit little private walk way off the courtyard but we look forward to staying in the main house next time. The house was built in 1890 and I have to say I was never hot anywhere in the house or our suit. Louisiana is hot and humid lol The courtyard is beautiful a very nice gentleman was outside hanging lights above the courtyard I can't imagine them not being there they look amazing. Be sure and check for books in the Parlor for info about the B&B history. Our suit had a mini fridge, Keurig, very nice king size towels lots of pillows and lots of plugs, Free WiFi, comfortable bed very spacious rooms, cable tv, beverages and ice are in the guest fridge in the main house. We had breakfast in the sun room at 8:30 delicious eggs, bacon, and biscuits with OJ and Coffee but breakfast changes daily. We will definitely be returning and look forward to staying in each of the rooms. The staff make this place extra special!! And the science museum is right down the road couple miles.

After traveling from Katy, Texas and making stops along the way, I had decided to call around in…read moreLafayette for a hotel stay. I was extremely tired and the time was after 11:00 pm. It was very hard to receive a room after 11 on a Saturday night in Lafayette. So many hotels didn't have anything available. The one hotel that did make my night, was Best Western in Broussard right off of Hwy 90. I called and Michelle the weekend front desk person was very busy at the moment with others checking ins. She said I do have rooms availble Mrs Mary can I get your phone number and call you less than 5 mins? I refused to drive home to Baton Rouge. Once Michelle called me back, she immediately asked me for my information so once I arrive I just had to walk up and get my keys. Walking into the hotel it was very pretty, extremely clean & had a pleasant scent. The rooms were spotless. The breakfast was very tasty and the bar was well kept. If you are traveling through Lafayette on a weekend and u are extremely tired, please give Michelle a call. She won't let you down. She is a very kind soft spoken lady that treated me and my family with lots of generousity. Once again, THANK YOU MICHELLE for calling us back

Great spot for downtown adventuring…read more -Parking is a little strange. The lot is small and you'll miss the entrance if you don't know where you're going. -There's a little pub or bar right next door but they kept the roar to a minimum. -Service was ok. -There's a common area upstairs where snacks will randomly appear. -The rooms have big ol bathtubs but not big ol water pressure or heating to keep up with the hotel demand. We went Valentine's Day weekend during a freeze and were looking forward to hot showers or a soak to shake off the cold, but so was everyone else at the hotel. -You can tell the hotel is is a bit...outdated and that the owners have tried to make improvements. -Rooms are definitely not spotless but also not disgusting. -The bed slept ok. Now for the tasty bits: Our tv was in when we checked into the room, which we thought was a little weird but not massively unusual. We figured the housekeeper was catching up on The Bold and the Beautiful. We were wrong. The housekeeping staff laid a carefully constructed trap by leaving the TV on LIfetime. You see, we had every intention of getting out and taking in what downtown Lafayette had to offer. Instead, we got sucked into the vortex of trash television and the convenience of drinking beer from your bed. A shameful portion of our weekend was spent guzzling hazy IPAs from Parish and ridiculing life choices made by the actors on Marrying Millions. My husband and I had a blast! We just really wished there had been enough hot water for everyone.
