I've been on the road with my guy friend who drives trucks. We stopped at this hotel after three days of staying in hotels that were just disgusting! Hotels I couldn't even take a shower in being terrified of germs and getting sick. Check in here was quick and easy. They had adequate parking for him to park his truck. The rooms are clean and appear to be pretty new. Shower had hot water. The beds and pillows were the softest I've experienced in a while. They have a complimentary breakfast. I printed quickly with no issues at their business center. And all of the staff were friendly, accommodating, and appeared to actually like being at work. I didn't get a chance to work out in their gym but I plan to on the next visit. I recommend this hotel and their staff and appreciate them being a breath of fresh air. read more

Booked a King Suite with Bookings.com - check in was quick and easy. The hotel card booklet also included breakfast hours. Parking was free and readily available. The room was a lot bigger than I imagined. The bed was clean and had plenty of pillows. The room had a microwave and fridge. The a/c can be changed on the thermostat and blew cold air throughout the night. I could not hear any of my next door neighbors through the walls, but in the morning I could hear my upstairs neighbor getting up. Not too loud but just something to note. The bathroom was filled with plenty of towels and had typical amenities (shampoo, conditioner, lotion). I went to the front desk to ask for a toothbrush and they also offered toothpaste and mouth wash. The shower pressure was good, not too low nor blasting. The water was hot almost instantly. The drainage worked properly for a bath (took about 5-10 minutes to fill the bathtub). Breakfast was good. Due to COVID, they stopped serving hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, biscuits, etc). They still had a good selection of fruits, breakfast snacks, and microwaveable breakfast items. There was coffee, hot water and juice available as well. Staff was friendly and quick. If price is your only concern then this hotel is for you. To start with, it's extremely difficult/dangerous at times to make the left turn into the parking lot-across heavy traffic. The lobby is most likely where most of the money was spent during the construction. The elevator is extremely slow, the laundry room has one washer and a stacked double dryer that left my work pants with stains that they did not have before-use at your own risk. The hall ways are echo chambers for all the little kids/teenagers banging doors and running up and down the hall. The hall ways have been beat up pretty bad; corner baseboards have fallen off and not repaired. Better choices in the area. read more

Employees upon check in have been outstanding Aimee helped me find my reservation that was somehow lost, she is a great asset here, night staff can barely look at you as you come in the door. Hotel is being updated. Not sure where they are hiring their contractors though, you can tell the workers are just doing their job with no care. Rooms could definitely be cleaner. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is standard but cramped. Elevator is still slow. Laundry room. Still one washer and the dryer through two cycles still could not get my clothes dry my entire room was covered in damp clothes. Dorm fridge barely functions. Door to hallway does not have a tight seal so the floor roommates who are pot smokers are flooding my room with their habit. My room could be cleaner for sure. Bathroom door has someone else's hair scattered on it. Floors have not been swept very well. I would stay here again but only if I could not find somewhere else. read more

I'm a fan of the Comfort Suites chain in general. I've stayed in a few and always leave satisfied. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and the staff are friendly. This one was no different. I find them to be affordable and I do love the fact that the offer a continental breakfast. It's no gourmet breakfast for sure, but it's hey, it's free. The eggs aren't very good, but the juice is sweet and cold and there's plenty of fresh fruit and yogurt. Free wifi and comfy beds as well. A good choice if you need a room in Lafayette. read more

I'm still in shock...THE WORST customer service EVER. Story is: I had a change in travel plans (crazy right? Travel plans changing?). I notified this hotel very early in the day (9am) over the phone and in person to see if they would work with me at all. The GM, Anne Gros, REFUSED to cancel my reservation and said that "it's my decision" and that I would be charged whether or not I stayed in the room. I begged, pleaded and offered my first born to not be charged for this room, as I needed to get back to my family. She refused over and over. This place sucks. Have a heart. If someone doesn't need a room, they shouldn't have to pay for it. People pay to sleep in rooms. They shouldn't have to pay when they don't sleep in the room. Period. Not only was the situation not handled correctly, it was more about the way the GM spoke to me. She was unsympathetic to a very logical reasoning of why we should at least meet in the middle on the room. If your hotel is surviving on keeping a one night room rate, you are in trouble. What was suppose to be an enjoyable 10th birthday sleepover for my daughter and friends ended up being an horrible hotel experience. After requesting conjoining rooms, we were not accommodated. I called to ask why this was the case and was lectured to by the manager "if I knew what request mean?" Well, yes I do I responded. The most unprofessional thing happen later when one of our room keys stopped working. The hotel staff sent an "employee" to deliver the new key. After waiting a while, a man, not dressed in hotel uniform or anything close to professional attire, no ID bade, and drinking beer showed up to deliver the new key. This employee was drunk and drinking on the job. What a joke of an establishment! This was our first and LAST time staying at any Comfort Inn hotels! Avoid this location! The management staff is a joke. As CEO of my company, I would be embarrassed and upset if my customers were treated anywhere close to this and that my employees were drinking on the job. read more

Upon my arrival, staff was very friendly and helpful. The modern interior appeared to be newly remodeled and was clean, and stylish. Check in was flawless. The room appeared clean and cozy amply supplied with towels and toiletries. Plenty of coffee and tea, along with a microwave and refrigerator. All impeccably clean and in perfect working order. The bed was so comfortable and cozy that I decided to stay an extra night. So quiet I was not woken up even once. Going forward, this will be my new go to place to stay when I come home for a visit. This was such a nice hotel. I honestly wasn't expecting good conditions in Lafayette, but I was totally wrong. The staff was wonderful. Just so sweet and accommodating. I was even able to check in early after a long trip! They were accommodating and knowledgeable and even shared things that are in the area. The rooms are really spacious and a super big bathroom for a hotel bathroom which I found to be cool. We had one room with two queen beds. The room was super spacious and clean and no complaints Very quiet area and no issues. Continental Breakfast was available and even has an omelet available. The attendant Colby was great and just so friendly. I have a pleasant stay here. Also, no issues with parking. Ample Parking as well as food in walking distance. read more

This was such a nice hotel with friendly staff. It was worth every penny! I had a queen sized bed, a living room, a spacious bathroom and even got a call from the front desk 30 mins after check in to make sure my room was up to par and if I needed anything! They even gave me a goody bag upon arrival since I'm a platinum choice rewards member. I didn't get a chance to try their breakfast or walk around the facility. We've been driving cross country and have found our experiences at Comfort Inn and Suites have been good! We loved this hotel in particular. I booked a last minute reservation when we were in need of a new hotel. It was clean, comfortable and quiet! The service was excellent. The room was very comfortable and was in great shape. Usually, when a hotel experience starts with the desk clerk telling me my reservation doesn't exist, a five-star rating does not ensue. However, after the initial snafu, the rest of the experience was wonderful! Most of the time, Peter was on desk duty, and we ran him ragged! Aimee Broussard was the manager on duty the evening I checked in and helped with resolving the reservation issue. What I appreciate most of all from those in the service industry is a willingness to help resolve a situation quickly without becoming defensive. A large group of soccer players and their families were staying over the weekend of September 25, 2015 and we are a noisy, demanding bunch! Our team manager requested an early breakfast Sunday because of an extremely early game, we had a player get sick and we needed to freshen the room and then there was my reservation issue - all handled well from a staff willing to please. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room spacious and clean. I feel the room is up-to-date with the times, providing several outlet charging options for electronics and plentiful counter space in the bathroom for toiletries. If I had to find something to pick about, I would prefer the signs indicating which direction the rooms are to be directly in front of the elevator. However, that is really reaching and smacks of high-maintenance, which I surely am NOT!! (snicker) Thank you all for a pleasant weekend! read more

I was there for a day for a family cookout in St. Martinville La and I'm happy I stayed at this hotel. If you BLINK you will miss it. Its a skinny street that sits behind Chili's Restaurant RueFernand. But its a nice quiet spot. I had a King room with Sofa Set, allot of space. Room 303 was nice. Its at the end of the hallway and my view was nothing but Trees. I rather a street view next time but it was pleasant. The breakfast was awesome...THOSE BISCUITS! Soft and Yummy! The rooms here is Kool! I totally enjoyed the bathroom. I had so much fun just taking my shower with a removable and re adjustable shower head. I really love the atmosphere here. I had the choice of sleeping with firm and soft pillows. Everything was Clean. The towels were folded the same way, my mattress pad top was clean. My bed sheets were clean. There Were also a nice decorative night stand with an outlet plug to charge the phone and or even your laptop. The floor pattern was so awesome! I love the use of the Browns and teal blues used in the carpet floorings. The television was flatscreen and attached to the wall. The curtain and curtain drapes were really nice. But the favorite highlight of my stay here is Mr. COLBY. Mr. Colby is the breakfast cook for the complimentary breakfast in the lobby. He's so friendly and just ready to make my breakfast a good one. He kept the food area clean and organized. They even had cheese omelets yall!!!!! Woohoo!!!!! He was friendly and he wanted to know if everything was good to my liking. We were driving from Orlando, Florida back to San Antonio, Texas and needed a last minute stay. We've always found Comfort Suites to be affordable, clean, spacious and SUPER COMFTY! We checked in on Tuesday night around 11pm and the room was $100 after taxes! I still can't believe it was so cheap, we've spent $140 on other hotels that were average. This was a pretty good stay for spur of the moment. We were able to use a pack n play for our toddler and the room was nice and clean. The breakfast in the morning was free and fairly good. The only issue we had was they seem to be short staffed in the evening and the shower seemed slow to drain as well as clogged with calcium build up a little on the shower head making the water not come out too well. read more
