I remember when this hotel was first built and driving by thinking how nice it looked. I was excited to stay here for some girls time with my neice and her mom. The hotel is very unimpressive on the inside. It's a bit outdated and actually kind of gross. The elevators skip when you walk on them which made me a little nervous, but then we got to our room and only one of the two keys worked. We open the door and get smacked in the face with the smell of dirty mop water. When we took off our shoes, and our socks got soaked, we realized the smell was because they freshly shampood the rug in our room. Which I appreciate, but maybe don't rent out a room with wet rugs? The smell stuck with us for the full time we were there, it got a bit nauseating. Beds were nice and comfortable but the pillows were AWFUL and gave no support (even while stacking all 4). We all woke up with stiff necks. The pool is indoors but there were no towels to be found so I'm glad we brought our own. Also, the pool was FREEZING. We couldn't spend more than 5 minutes there, which was one of the main reasons we booked here so that was disappointing. Plus the cameras in the pool kept moving to watch us. It wasn't automatic, there was definitely someone watching us. Hope you enjoyed your view. We booked here because they promised a continental breakfast. During covid times, I know alot of hotels were giving prepackaged meals for their continental breakfast rather than the hot buffet style they used to offer, but it's now July 2021 and most covid restrictions are lifted, so maybe stop saying you are offering a continental breakfast if you are only offering boxed cereal and some pre-packaged muffins. There are much better hotels in the area and I probably would not return to this one. read more

I just want to say just how wonderful this hotel is. My family was in from out of town and I couldn't wait to spend time with the grand kids. As soon as I walked inside I was greeted by a very nice man at the check in desk. The lobby was clean and very well kept. The room my grand kids were staying in was also very nice. I did not spend the night at the Hampton inn with my family but I wish I did after hearing how good the breakfast buffet was. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends in the book club. read more

Who remembers the NFL 2024 playoffs Buffalo Bills vs Chiefs and the game was cancelled due to EXTREME weather? It dumped so much snow that the game was postponed. Volunteers were commissioned to help clear the stadium. Anyhow, we arrived at this hotel and were lucky enough to take shelter in the crowded lobby during the travel ban. The ladies at the front desk were as accommodating to everyone as possible. Word spread around the room that other hotels were turning people away and won't allow anyone to wait out the storm in their lobby. Locals couldn't get home, 3 miles away. All the rooms were sold out, but some were lucky enough to get one, as reservations were being cancelled. We were one of the lucky ones, and they didn't jack up the prices either. My review is really for the workers and compassion they had for everyone here, hats off to the staff. The hotel is conveniently located right off the I-90. read more

I really wish the pictures (which are like the other Hampton Inn's I have stayed in, were what I stayed in. This Hampton seem like it's on the lower end of the ones in the Buffalo area next to a rundown KMart and an abandoned parking lot. Very small. Ladies at the front desk were very nice but this one seems like it needs an updating ASAP! I walked into my room and was reminded of staying in Holiday Inns as a 6year old. Old fixtures, humming lights, headboard from my childhood bed. Wow. The bathroom was outdated and was a tub. The WiFi kept going in and out - which as a Honors Reward member? Is UNACCEPTABLE. In terms of the best part of a Hampton Inn? Breakfast was on the normal side: scrambled eggs and sausage cuts, waffle, AJ, and coffee. The area was kept very clean but the heat on the food was lacking. In general the employees here are very nice, but the hotel needs updated. Plain and simple. read more

They don't take noise complaints seriously We stayed 4 nights in a row during Thanksgiving week. The first 2 nights were OK, but on the 3rd night there were a bunch of teenagers wandering around our hallway laughing, slamming doors etc. Then they gathered in the room next to ours and it sounded like they were having a party and hitting a ping pong ball against the wall we shared. Around 10:30 I got out of bed and went to the front desk to complain, and they sent someone up who asked them to please quiet down. The kids quieted down a bit, but I don't know where their parents were (probably the adults I saw hanging out and drinking in the lobby when I went to the front desk), and I didn't hear the employee ask where the parents were. The next afternoon, I heard the same loud teenage girls out in the hall again, and a woman from a neighboring room telling them she had had about enough of them. They just mouth off to her, and I hope she complained to management. Then my wife and I were headed out, and we saw some little kids about 6 or 7 playing hockey (with nets and hockey sticks, the whole shebang) at the end of the hall. I said "oh no, maybe we should say something", but my wife said not to worry since it was still afternoon. But that night at 11 pm we were awoken by those same kids wacking a ball around and screaming and running in the hall. I went out and they ran into a room, and the door was wide open and some adults were in there. I told the male (father?) to keep his kids under control, and as I was walking away an employee came down the hall. She picked up the hokcy sticks and net and told them these weren't' allowed, and to please keep it down. The clueless entitled female (mother?) said hey, it's a hockey tournament and they're just kids, you know how they are. And I said it was her job to watch them, it's not everyone else's problem she can't control her kids. Then she said to the employee, "For future reference, if you have a hockey team staying here, you should put them in a room away from other people" and the employee actually apologized to the woman like it was the hotel's fault! I told the employee I wanted my money back for that night since I had to drive all day the next day, and she said she'd talk to the manager. The next morning while checking out, I got the bill, and I asked what was done about the noise, and they offered me some points, and I said I didn't travel enoguh to use them, and they said they would talk to the manager about crediting my credit card. So 3 weeks later, I never got an apology from management, and only a measly $53 credit on my card, which I assume was the adjustment for all the hassle and lost sleep? So moral of the story is, don't expect the Hampton to take noise complaints seriously. They fill up rooms with unruly teenagers without adult supervision, and don't bother to threaten really outrageously bad behavior by both kids and adults with any consequences whatsoever. I saw people bringing large dogs (not service animals) to their rooms, but I actually didn't hear anything from the dogs. It's just a trashy free-for-all for a high price. Oh, and top of all this the free breakfast is really bad. Waffles that are undercooked and stick to the griddle, and they don't have any jellies or syrups that aren't artificially sweetened. read more

Had a wonderful 3 night stay here from start to finish. Elizabeth checked us in, and out. She was pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was surprisingly very very good and plentiful. Easy location to find just outside Buffalo. Most amenities within a few minutes of the hotel. This appears to be an older hotel that is due for an update. The breakfast is pretty good, and they offer their own smoothies which are great with the exception of a paper straw (yuk). Don't bother leaving a card on file with the front desk for amenities because (as I was told) "there aren't any". So if you want a snack, check the vending machine or go to the store. Hopefully they update soon - not a bad stay, but better days are ahead. read more

We stayed here for a hockey tournament about 3-4 weeks ago; I just haven't put this up yet. We were very satisfied with our stay. Staff was very hard working, nice, and could help you with anything. The pool is very nice with plenty of hangout room and a shower. Walking into our room it was obvious that it was cleaned because of the aroma of cleaning supplies. After breakfast on our two nights of our stay, the lady who was working at breakfast was cleaning up and made everything look very good. Overall very pleased with our stay! read more

Picture it, holiday weekend and you're getting ready to go away and then out of nowhere, you get hit with the craziest blizzard ever! I was about to be stranded on the road during an awful blizzard with my family and thankfully this hotel had an opening and took us in. This blizzard caused power outages and the entire county was in a state of emergency and had a travel ban. There are not enough words to thank the hotel and the entire staff at this establishment- for real, Hampton Inn higher ups, yall should *really* give every single person who was working during the storm a huge bonus! This was a terrifying situation- they took people in and let them stay in the lobby, they communicated when they found out more information, and they even were able to find a loca restaurant to deliver food to the restaurant. My family and I will forever be thankful to this establishment! I will not be going near Buffalo any time soon- I most definitely need a recovery period BUT if I was in the area or if you are looking for a spot, this hotel was incredibly clean, has a solid gym with a Peloton, and the hotel staff were all amazing. No it's not the freakin Plaza Hotel straight out of Home Alone 2: Lost I'm New York....but this place is great. The staff was among some of the most friendly and accommodating people I have ever met. Complimentary drinks when we checked in as well as free printer access and late night breakfast! I work with a crew of people with odd hours, we left our rooms at 7:30am and returned back around 2am, with no food open we asked to have a few boxes of cereal, the staff generously allowed us to have some snacks after a long day. Overall, the hotel is your typical Hampton Inn. Clean rooms, no frills, but just enough to have a good stay. However, the staff is what makes this place so great. These people should be training other hotel workers as they have their customer service dialed in perfectly. read more

I brought my daughter here for her 9th birthday to go swimming and relax. We arrived on 2/15 at 3 pm and the woman at the front desk was miserable, not hospitable whatsoever, and just kind of "meh". Why bother working in hospitality? But either way, the hotel is older and hasn't been updated. The rooms are okay, the hallways are so cold, the ice machines don't work (at least not on the 4th & 5th floor), and the elevators sound like they're ready to give out at any given second. There are rarely towels in the pool area, and if you ask the front staff about them, they're not sure where they are either- so my daughter froze in the above mentioned hallways with no towel while taking the sketchy elevator ride back up to our room. The complimentary breakfast was just okay, and good luck finding a seat. All in all, it wasn't horrible. But, I wouldn't go back. Very, very, hard to believe this is a Hilton property, I expected more. read more

Not impressed-this is a tired, older property. Greeted by 2 harried, tattoo laden guys at the front desk. While pleasant, they were not particularly welcoming or helpful. No " welcome to Buffalo, breakfast starts at...., here's the WiFi password, etc.). Not a great first impression. Lobby bathroom was filthy & unkempt. No paper towels, trash overflowing, etc. I make sure to never come back. Our room was fine, clean & quiet. Unless you have no other options, I would look elsewhere! read more

6/3/2013-I did not know a desk in an Hampton Inn room was an amenity. When I asked for a room with a desk the front desk person gave me attitude because I was only staying one night. Stayed here 1 night for a work trip. My room was very large and had a desk, couch with coffee table and a small wet bar area with mini fridge, microwave, sink and countertop. The bathroom was a decent size and overall things seemed clean.The front desk staff was helpful and efficient and breakfast was good I was a little disconcerted at how worn and outdated the hotel was in general. Shower was worn and seemed discolored just from time, carpets in hotel needed replacing and hallways had a slight odor but not in the room. I had a decent experience but would likely stay at a nearby hotel that is more updated and warm feeling when coming back to the area. read more

I stayed in another Hampton Inn on this same trip and it had a desk. This had a big empty space. They could at least put a luggage stand there. I noticed that there were few amenities here. No microwave and no mini fridge. This seemed like a Hampton Lite but at the regular price. Overpriced for what you get. read more

The receptionist when we checked in was not very friendly. She seemed preoccupied, didn't even look at me and mentioned hotel was very busy due to two weddings. As my kid wanted to make hot cocoa and no hot water, asked her and again later but no action. The night shift receptionist was a lot better, she immediately changed out the water. Hotel is decent, many reviews mentioned the noisy elevators, but the noise didn't bother me too much. I would still highly recommend elevator overhaul. Breakfast was great with chocolate waffle batter and smoothies. Ada, the breakfast attendant, was great. Because of her, I gave 3 stars vs 2 stars. This hotel is nothing more than a place to sleep if you are in a pinch. I arrived for my stay around 9pm at night. There was no one at the front desk but after a minute a young gentleman did arrive. He was friendly and accommodating so no issues with service. The hotel is definitely outdated. Old and dirty carpet, wood paneled walls in the elevator, etc. The room was clean but again, very outdated. The tv didn't work - the service kept going in and out and despite the many outlets, none worked. The lighting is really poor. Had to turn on every side light in the room to get decent lighting. Bathroom is old and drab with stained walls. The best part of the hotel is the lobby area is well taken care of and the breakfast options were good. Overall, I would look for somewhere else to stay in the future but if I had to, I would stay here again for the cleanliness. read more

We stayed here last night, arriving at 10 pm without a reservation. The attendant gave us an upgrade to a bigger room since we are gold members of Hilton. When we got to the room on the 3rd floor, the key didn't work so we had to go back downstairs for rekeying. The room, 305, was adequate, clean and large. The bedspread was bright white and looked brand new. It included a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was perfect. I slept really well. The bathroom had a huge shower and the water pressure was fine. We had breakfast the next morning downstairs. It was adequate as well. This is a good hotel to stay for one night on your way to somewhere else. read more

This rating is based on a few aspects of my recent stay. I booked a 2 queen room and was never notified they didn't have one. It wasn't until I was in the room that I saw that it was a king with sofa bed. I went down to the managers desk to let them know about the mistake and ask if we could be switched to the correct room, they said Gov rate rooms aren't guaranteed. I went back to check to see if it said that anywhere but didn't see that anywhere. The hotel itself was also more than an little on the lower quality end, especially compared to other Hilton hotels. Everything seemed a little dirtier and rickety. The carpets throughout seemed past due for a change. The tile throughout seemed dirty. The bed was springy. The ac made a lot of noise while running and then was noticeable when it cut off. The elevator shifted around when anyone stepped on. Overall, the dismissal and wrong room booking was probably what may have highlighted the lower quality for me. I also rarely stay in the Hampton version of Hilton properties. The best part and possible logic for the lower quality was the low price. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

This is one of the nicer Hampton Inns I've stayed at. For my purposes the location was ideal. Right next to an expressway but there was no traffic noise to be heard. The property is clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to be helpful. Because of its location there is no view ... a shopping center on one side and a freeway on the other. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. My room was lacking a desk, which was not an issue because I was not there on business, but if I had been the lack of a desk would have been a negative mark. There was a decent flat screen TV with an adequate number of channels. Up until the morning of checkout there was only one small negative - everyone in our party of 6 (spread across 3 rooms) remarked that the bottom of the shower/tub was slippery and there was no bath mat. Once shampoo dripped down to the tub it was a challenge to stand up without sliding around. The other item only became an issue the morning we checked out. As we ate breakfast in the room off the lobby an oblivious hotel worker pushed a large red laundry basket through the lobby and out the front door. The wobbly wheels on the cart being pushed across the cobbled tile was so loud we couldn't talk over it. The hotel worker actually looked like he was purposely trying to make as much noise as possible by aggressively pushing the cart. He did this not once, but 4 times, right in front of the desk clerks and guests. I have never seen a staff worker do something like this, even in the most basic no-frills motel, but in a place like this it was inexcusable. I was shocked that one of the managers didn't take the opportunity to train the worker that he should have used a service entrance or at least a more remote corridor door rather than to push his cart through a crowded lobby. This incident took points from the hotel's management ... it illustrated a lack of understanding of their guests' needs. I arrived a little early to the hotel so the room wasn't ready, but the staff was still very nice and accommodating. I was able to knockout some work in the lobby while my room was being prepared. Once the room was ready, the front desk came to me to check me in. I was also pleasantly surprised at how large and nice the room was. This Hampton Inn is average as compared to other Hampton Inns. Maybe even a small step up from other Hampton Inns. The poor review is for one reason: the bed! We got a room with two queen beds, supposedly. The smallest queen beds I've ever seen. These were double beds, not queen beds. On top of that these beds were horrific. They belong in the garbage. We slept in one bed and after a bad nights sleep then moved to the other bed in an attempt to get a better result. We approached the desk manager about the beds and all they could offer was "do you want to change rooms?" No we don't. They did nothing to mention of the other room would have a bed that is any better!!!! My husband could barely walk for the first few hours every morning due to these stupid beds. I even considered sleeping on the floor the last night we were there. When we were checking out we informed the front desk that the condition of the beds was so poor and all they said was ' I will inform the manager." read more

Had a really nice stay with my granddaughters. Beds were comfortable, love the pillows! The pool was being repaired when we arrived and didn't open until eight on the one night of our say. It was loud and crowded that night. In the morning the front desk graciously extended our checkout time. The girls were able to swim alone in the pool for about two hours. Stayed here as part of a large group. The front desk was friendly and professional when booking and more than happy to answer the many questions we had. The logistics behind booking this many people for one event were difficult at best but the service provided was exceptional. They worked with us to ensure everyone had a good time, always ready and able to assist with directions to local attractions. Nothing was too much to ask and we asked for plenty! Decent hotel, but not up to par with the Hampton Inn name. No fridge in room, saggy, squeaky mattress. Lumpy pillows. Heater/AC was an under the window box unit with no thermostat contol other than high and low. Took all night to get cool enough, this was in April! Take my warning, never take your Honeymoon night at this establishment. In short... They have Poor customer service, poor guest assistance and complete lack of respect and sympathy. I was booked for a honeymoon suite weeks in advance. After an error made by the hotel I was placed in a standard room at 5 am after all of the chaos of finding me a room was said and done. After many countless hours spent talking to "guest assistance" I was offered one "be my guest" certificate good for one night in a standard room and 44,000 Hilton Honors points. THE original agreement made with Hilton Guest Assistance was that we would get enough points for TWO nights in a HONEYMOON suite. There end of the deal was never uphold and they have zero respect for the guests. For someone with such a prestigious "management" as the Hilton, I certainly expected way more out of there attitudes and the way they treat others. read more
