Strolled down to the restaurant here at the hotel and ordered me a steak salad. About 15 minutes later out came the salad. Up to the room I went. Open the salad container and found an abundance of salad and a decent amount of steak. They didn't ask me how I wanted the steak, but it came medium to medium well. That's fine. You get a ton of salad and about eight strips of steak. Just what the doctor ordered! Everything about the salad was good. You get a choice of five different dressings. I went with the Italian dressing. It wasn't over the top tangy, I found it to be just right.

I was not informed that they were under construction until I arrived. The front desk employee said they stop everyday by 530pm. He did not say they start around 750am though. After a long day I got ready to take a shower and realized there were no bath towels in my room. I called the front desk and was told they would bring some right up (this was 10pm). About an hour later, still no towels the front desks calls to say things got busy and they were coming right now. I received 1 bath tiwel and 1 hand towel (I requested 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths) around 11:45pm. Hopefully, once the renovations are completed this location will be a better representation of the Hilton brand. Currently it felt like a cheap roadside motel.

We were on a very quiet floor. The beds were comfy. Rooms spacious. Went on a weekday and was told there was a complimentary Managers Reception. Thought nothing about it and was greeted with a full blown meal with some delicious wine. I believe it was all you can eat but honestly one plate was enough. The morning buffet breakfast was ample. The staff seem to be on point and quickly serviced. As everything was available i did not need to reach out to staff. Check in and out was so easy. So yes, i'd definetly return again. The hotel is very nice. Rooms are decorated beautifully and bed had great linens. I prefer a firmer bed but still it was comfy. Not quite the typical marriott furniture. For example, an area rug over laminate hardwood floors. And a cart that held the mini fridge, safe, and Keurig. I am a lifetime Marriott platinum member and we enjoyed the benefit of their complementary breakfast. You order off the menu (not buffet) and it was delicious. There is an outside patio area with comfy chairs and firepit...shares the space with the attached restaurant (Jazzboline). Would have liked to try the attached restaurant, but yelp reviews made it sound terrible. (I depend on yelp reviews). We stayed in the courtyard room behind the main building. Windows do not open and no pool. We were traveling through town and stayed one night. Kinda glad it was just one night...the area was just okay. Upon pulling up outside it doesn't look like much, but once we entered the first thing we noticed was the amazing décor. The customer service from all the staff working the desk and lobby café was also excellent! Checking in was smooth and perfect, she hit all the topics and was very happy, professional, and engaging. She told us lots about the property and gave us an excellent lunch recommendation too! Once we got into the room, it was perfectly decorated just like the common areas we saw upon entering. The tile inset on the bathroom floor and shower floor looked amazing! The bedding was great, flat, and comfy too. Ergonomics of the room were also designed for ease and comfort! They also have a Cadillac Escalade that they use to provide free rides to guests... Anywhere in the area within 5 miles, typically running until midnight! We were fortunate to grab a couple of rides with Marty, who was very engaging and helpful! He took us to a work reception nearby and told us to call him when we were ready to be picked up, which we did and he promptly came back to get us! Shower pressure and quickness of the hot water was perfect! TV also worked perfectly! We enjoyed our visit so much that we'd return to the area just to stay at this hotel again! Highly recommend staying here when in the area! I average staying in 1.5 Marriott properties weekly and based on the poor and inconsistent service at many of them, I wish the management here would train the others on how to keep a property beautifully clean (this place has been here 7 years and it looks brand new still!) and how to provide great service!

Clean being the most important. It was spotless. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The pool also looked dated but was crystal clear and immaculately clean. In the morning, we enjoyed a tasty breakfast with fresh made waffle, eggs and yogurt (there was more. This was a very good breakfast with lots of options). The coffee and hot chocolate were excellent. I want to mention Lorne as he was there both nights of our stay. A lot of hallway noise in the evenings, so we did put on some music/white noise. Overall, another good location for date weekend.

They should never ever be trusted by another hockey tournament company to host their teams participating in their stay to play events. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in guest safety or basic hospitality. The most alarming part of our stay was a man who was not an employee of the hotel repeatedly following our children around the property and taking photos of them. When we raised this serious concern to hotel staff, they did absolutely nothing. They in fact admitted that they "hired" this man, who was obviously, not at all with it to follow our young children around. There was no attempt to investigate, and no concern shown for our children's safety. We were made to feel like we were the problem for even bringing it up. Any hotel should treat the safety of children as a top priority. The fact that this behavior was ignored is beyond unacceptable and incredibly disturbing. In addition to this, staff members were unfriendly, unhelpful, and outright rude except for Donna, their server/bartender inside their bistro. Donna was the ONLY good thing about this whole establishment. Requests were brushed off, questions were met with attitude, and there was a general lack of professionalism across the board. We left feeling unsafe, unheard, and extremely disappointed but we will be heard! No family should ever have to feel uncomfortable or worried about their children while staying somewhere that is supposed to provide security and care. I would strongly advise families especially hockey traveling families who do this all the time-- and especially those with children -- to stay elsewhere. DO NOT EVEN GIVE LISA A CHANCE. She showed the worst customer service and safety concerns of our young children that I have ever experienced. Beyond all of this, please look at pictures our families have taken of the unsafe and poor quality of this place, it was truly disgusting! They truly deserve a ZERO STAR!

Hotel is crisp and clean throughout, rooms are comfortable and we did not notice any cleaning issues. It's not something I would take a star off for, but mainly because it's Buffalo. We were annoyed that the rooms had motion sensing thermostats. Even with the mild weather that we were visiting during, the lack of air circulation while gone always made the room uncomfortable to return to, because it was stuffy. Thankfully, it would be cleared up within 20-30 minutes, but being outside all day and wanting to comfortably relax when you return, it kind of puts a damper on that... and I don't really know what kind of savings it presents. It's easy enough for an AC system to maintain 70 degrees when it barely gets above that outside. Anyhow, thanks to the climate, a minor annoyance. Would stay here again! 4 stars Stayed here…read morefor 2 nights on a work trip. Overall, the stay was good; however, one night I found 2 bugs in the bathroom. The hotel seemed clean, but bugs that looked like roaches do not make someone feel comfortable. Positives - I was able to get an early check in. There is a water bottle filling machine on the first floor. The vending area (sodas and snacks) has very reasonable prices. The gentleman at the front desk, Dan, was the nicest hotel clerk I have ever encountered. Overall, the hotel was fairly clean. The towels and bathroom amenities were great quality. The WiFi worked great. See pic: Large (used) trash bag by elevator trash cans - the large bag is provided in room for ease of keeping the room clean and disposing of larger items. This is a great idea being the hotel is next to a sports facility. I can imagine this would help families clean up properly behind themselves! There was also a notice that they are upgrading the tvs to being "smart". While this didn't happen during my stay, it's a positive for future guests! Negatives - The bugs on my first night. The breakfast buffet was just meh. Although there is plenty to choose from, the first day the cheddar egg omelette was old and hard to cut through (breakfast at 7:30am), both days the yogurt was kept in a basket (dairy should be kept on ice), the waffle maker didn't cook all the way through (and no spray to help get the waffle out, so the outer part that was cooked stuck to the waffle maker), and by 7:30 on day 2 they were out of quite a bit of the fresh fruit (the only healthy option). The temperature in the room was hard to control - it doesn't let you select air or heat. 73 was cold air, 74 was like a full blown heater on blast.
