Two queen beds, ready for a nap.

This hotel had a great breakfast! I'm glad I booked a room here. I was traveling on a Friday during spring break. Half a day out, I looked online for a room around Chattanooga. I looked at their listing and thought I would give them a call about any discounts they might have. This one offered a military veteran discount of a few dollars, so I booked it. The room was very nice, the hotel was clean, everything was just as I expected. I would definitely book here again when traveling in the area.

Super clean very large rooms with huge bathroom. Free breakfast with lots of options. Loved all the autumn things place at entrance. This is Military friendly location. This place fills up fast with lots of friendly staff. Heads up the things inside snack room are a little high even for tourists location.

This hotel is located just off of Interstate 75 at exit 11. We ended up picking this hotel while we were traveling through Alabama after visiting Noccalula Falls Park. We knew we were going to end up somewhere near Chattanooga for the night, but wanted to not be in the middle of the city. This hotel fit that bill nicely. There was ample parking available on site. Our stay here was on August 4, 2018. We arrived at the hotel around 6 pm, which is what we expected given the travel time for the day, which started out in Mississippi. It wasn't busy when we came in and were immediately greeted at the front desk. We gave the clerk all the needed info and we got our room keys. Our assigned room was 505. After getting to the room, we checked things out everything looked good and in working order. After getting settled, we started to look for somewhere to get dinner. There happens to be a restaurant right next to the hotel that you can easily walk to, so that's where we went (will have a separate review for that). After dinner, we made it back to the hotel and started to do a bit of unwinding. However, my niece wanted to go to the pool, so we went to the pool for a little while. The pool was pretty busy that evening, but we made do. I wasn't too surprised since it was a Saturday night. After having some time in the pool, we got back to the pool and changed back into regular clothes. Finally, it was time to start unwinding for the evening. During that evening, I was at the desk area downloading the photos that I had taken during the day from our stop at the falls earlier in the day so that I would have space back on the phone for the next day. While I was doing that, I felt an ant crawl up my leg. I killed it and moved on. However, a few minutes later, I had a whole bunch of them on my leg, which was a bit concerning at that point, especially since we were on the 5th floor. After that, I immediately made my way down to the front desk. The manager was actually at the desk at the time and told her what was going on. She said she would be up in a few minutes to check it out and do what she could to take care of the issue. Sure enough, she came up a few minutes later to spray the area where the ants were getting too antsy. She used a different type of spray so that it didn't stink up the room for the night. The hotel (and others in the area) were at capacity, so she took care of that and also did not charge us for the night as well. This was definitely handled in a professional, genuine way. After that was taken care of, it was time to go to sleep for the night. The beds were very nice and was very easy to fall asleep. I definitely had a good night's sleep that night. The following morning we came down to the breakfast area to have some of the continental breakfast items and other typical breakfast items before heading back on the road. There was a good selection of options available. Overall, given all of the experiences, this was a great hotel. The way they handled the issues were great and that tells me this is a well run and well managed hotel. If your travels take you this way, this would be a great hotel to stop at.

    Standard pillows???

Very overprice ($300 per night) for ripped bedding and standard size pillows on a king bed.

The hotel is nice just like every Hampton Inn, however they put us in the 4th floor were they starting doing construction while we were there which we found it rude and unprofessional. Even when we ask not to be disturb, construction started at 7am and to make it even worse we couldn't even get through the hallway and when we ask the guys working can you please clear a path for us to get to our room they just told us to get around. So we spoke to the front office they were like I'm so sorry but we are full and can't do nothing about it. So this place is a bust.

From the moment I walked in, the place had that polished, easygoing vibe that makes you feel like you made the right call before you even hit the elevator. The environment is genuinely nice, some vintage Volkswagens were on display in the lobby... the kind of space that feels welcoming instead of transactional. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and, most importantly, stayed that way because housekeeping actually serviced them daily. That alone feels like a luxury these days. The location is not exactly the crown jewel of Chattanooga, but it nails the one thing that matters when you're traveling: convenience. It's easy to get where you need to go, easy to get back, and easy to settle in without feeling like you're fighting the city. And the staff? Warm, friendly, and consistently helpful. The kind of team that makes hospitality feel like hospitality. But the moment that won me over was the Little Debbie snack waiting in the room at check-in. That tiny touch somehow said, "Welcome to Tennessee, we speak fluent comfort food." A good hotel gives you a room. A great one gives you a reason to smile before you even unpack. That's exactly what this place gets right. It may not sit in the most exciting location, but it absolutely understands the guest experience. Clean rooms, daily service, kind staff, and just enough thoughtful touches to make the stay memorable. So I came in expecting standard hotel beige and left thinking about snack cakes, spotless rooms, and how easy they made the whole trip feel. Four stars, and yes, Little Debbie absolutely helped close the deal. And the VW's are a nice twist too!

Where do I begin?!? We've had problems since we checked in. Problem #1 ants in the living room…read morearea. Problem #2 the mattress on the pullout bed was horrible!! You could feel the spring coming through the cloth. #3 there was no sheets, quilts/ comforters do the pullout bed. We came back to the room and nothing was cleaned and we had no sheets etc....on our bed. #6~I'm writing this review as I sit here and witness so many guests who have not paid, enter the pool area with their children half way supervised. The adults are on the patio while the kids are running around. When we walked in there was a female attendant at the desk. I was waiting until she finished talking ( it seemed as if she was talking to another coworker) and then she stops and just stares at me. I wanted to inquire about our room that had ants and wanted to know if it had been taken care of. While I'm talking I see a group of people walking behind me. When the attendant finished speaking with me she goes and hug one of the people in the large party, and they head straight for the pool. We go upstairs to change and come back down to a pool and patio area full of people. It's over 15 kids (excluding my 2) in the pool with only 2 adults supervising. The rest are outside sitting, listening to music, playing football. I'm assuming this is a birthday party because someone just brought in some balloons. I didn't think hotels had birthday party's like this. More kids are coming and now it's only 1 adult watching all these kids. A father and son just came down to go swimming and in a matter of seconds they change their mind and turn around. Also, we were unable to control the temperature of the refrigerator so therefore the items we bought to put in the refrigerator never got cold. There was a sign saying that the ice machine was on the third and seventh floor. I went to go get ice and there was a out of order sign saying to go to the barn to get ice. I went to the bar to get ice and the bartender informed me to look to the right if I wanted to get some ice, and there was a tub with ice in it with a Scooper in it. Think of all the germs. People use the scoopers with their bare hands and put it back in the ice for you to consume this hotel has got to do better. Also, if you're allergic to cats stay clear of this place. Cats are roaming in the lobby of the building. When we woke up Sunday morning there were ants crawling in the stand where the tv is. Housekeeping does not come everyday. The trash cans remained full all weekend and we had to use shopping bags to put trash in. If you're looking for a nice hotel to stay in, please stay clear of this one!

Some of their newest renovations also include a second storage shelf that runs above the regular bathroom counter. Even properties without that extra shelf have nice long counters to hold everyone's toiletries in my family. I care more about space and functionality than whether a property even has breakfast onsite, because there's always somewhere to get coffee or breakfast nearby. This particular property, however, doesn't have a convenient place to hang your wet hand towels near the sink and counter. Nothing. There is a bar over the toilet where the fresh towels are, but nothing easy to grab by the sink. I ended up hanging my hand towel over the bottles on the wall, which worked . . . fine. But why no actual bar? On both sides, because multiple people don't want to share one damp hand towel.

We booked through a third-party site that advertised two queen beds. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the hotel only offers king or double/full-size beds. The young lady at the front desk was very apologetic about the mistake, and we appreciated her acknowledging the issue. After getting our belongings and heading to our room, we were immediately disappointed by the cleanliness. There was hair and stains on the sheets and pillows, as well as hair inside the shower. We understand that this is an older hotel, but that should never be an excuse for dirty bedding or an unclean bathroom. Someone was sent to clean the room, but by that time, my wife had already spoken with someone at the front desk, and they decided to move us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room wasn't much better. The carpet had not been vacuumed and had crumbs and toenails throughout it. Two young ladies came in and changed the bedding and vacuumed the room without any hesitation, and we truly appreciated their willingness to help. At that point, we only had time to quickly check one of the beds. After being out all day, we returned to the hotel exhausted. Since we had already experienced dirty sheets earlier, we decided to put pillowcases over the pillows before going to bed. As I was putting one of the pillowcases on, I noticed a stain staring back at me through the old, thin pillowcase. When I removed it to inspect further, I was shocked to find a large blood stain on the pillow. That was the final straw for us. We had our children with us, we were exhausted, and having to deal with these issues was a huge inconvenience. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying in the room. The young lady at the front desk was helpful throughout the situation, and we appreciated her assistance. However, she mentioned that housekeeping had been off all day, and I don't believe the blame should be placed solely on housekeeping. This is ultimately a management and company issue. There should be proper quality checks in place to ensure rooms are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before guests arrive. Old and dirty sheets, pillows, and mattresses need to be replaced, because this level of cleanliness is simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to find another nearby hotel and pay to stay somewhere else for the night. It wasn't the best situation, but at that point, we needed somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the great reviews we had read before booking. The staff member at the front desk did her best to help us, but the condition of the rooms and bedding was unacceptable and completely ruined our stay.
