Second night at this property and so far things have been fantastic. Jo in last night and Charles was very helpful with unloading our car. Have a huge beautiful room on the 10th floor. Jessica at the bar was super sweet and a great bartender/server. Breakfast was delicious, and have been enjoying my chicken and waffles with rosemary potatoes all day long, even at room temperature.!! Amelia at the front was very helpful. Housekeeping has been friendly. Chris at the bar tonight was attentive Spent the last hour by the pool on a comfortable lounge chair and got to meet some very nice hotel guests. Bed is comfortable. Can't say anything about its location as I have not explored Chattanooga yet NEXT EVENING UPDATE!! Had some issues in the morning that manager Kay took care of before we had a chance to speak to her, and was fantastic at making things right. Again, the entire staff I have interacted with has been very personable, seemed to remember me, although I don't know why(!!!), and shown hospitality that I would expect at a hotel. 1- no parking. You are going to pay $25/day on top of your bill if you want to be less than a block away from your car 2- no complimentary breakfast of any sort. Not even a discount. 3- black mold in the shower of room 411 on the caulk of the ceiling. 4- carpets are dingy/worn/gross Aside from that, staff is very friendly and accommodating Plenty of other quality hotels that provide amenities. Hotel indigo was very clean and cute! The bathroom and shower were great and the bed was very comfortable. We did not get to use the bar or food but it looked like fun! Felt very safe and did not experience any issues with road noise- the AC kept things very quiet Staff was very friendly. Only issue is the valet parking. $25 and really no other choice unless you want to do street parking and be up and out by 8am which is not ideal on vacation. Plus tip on top of that for the kind staff just not my favorite to only have that option. read more

Valet sucks, you have no choice whether to valet and are forced to sit there and wait for them to get your vehicle. Then we waited over 30 minutes in the lobby for their so called restaurant. They said you have to tell us, they seated us and watched us stare at them for 30 min. Then the tv in the bedroom sucks. It doesn't connect to the phone and it's so dim you can barely see it during the daytime. Do not recommend this place to anyone! read more

We went to Chattanooga for a weekend getaway and decided to stay at the hotel Indigo. We were greeted by staff and checked in quickly. I was recognized for being IHG member and given an option for a gift. Once we arrived to our room it was updated and the bed was very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised about the toiletries offered. If we come back to Chattanooga, we will most definitely stay at the hotel indigo. read more

Definitely a nice little hotel with a great pool and amenities. They have a happy hour at the bar where each drink on the menu was $5. Make sure you toast before stepping out to explore downtown. The hotel beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and they smell good. But take a look at these black out curtains, amazing considering we were in town for a wedding and we needed the darkness the following morning. From check in to the request for late check out (highly suggest becoming an IHG member) to actually checking out, everything and everyone about this hotel was truly amazing. We were greeted warmly with 2 vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine at the bar. The room was stylish and modern. I appreciated that the AC unit was hidden in a cabinet with openings, I don't see that often. What really did it for me is that the bathroom not only came with the usual hair dryer but also a plug in vanity mirror that I was able to take into the room so I could free up the bathroom for my husband. Bed, pillows and comforter were top notch, no complaints, my husband even wanted to take a pillow home. we didn't!! At check out, Donovan was so accommodating that he made a cup of coffee for my husband because we missed the coffee bar and breakfast. I was in Chattanooga for work and had never stayed in the area before. The staff, from the valets to the front desk personnel and bartender were all very friendly and helpful. They give me tips on where I could find some good places to eat and watch sports, off property. The hotel is very nice and clean. My room was perfect and had a place to set up my computer for work. I enjoyed some of the craft beers and cocktails at the bar on Monday night. The bartender was talkative and friendly. She made very good cocktails. I would definitely recommend staying here to my friends and family. I hope to return soon and visit more of the downtown area. read more

I travel weekly for work and normally stay at Marriott. This time I changed it up and stayed at hotel indigo. Staff is fantastic. Super helpful and friendly. One problem you cannot hook up your Roku to the tv. I was told they have it blocked at the front desk. Back to Marriott I go. Since I travel every week for work my Roku is my way of being at home with my apps and tv without having to use the battery on my phone to cast it. My Roku already has all my passwords connected to be able to watch what I want fast. read more

We got a king suite for one night as we were just passing through. The hotel is modern and conveniently located off the freeway. However, that was the issue for us was how loud the road noise was. We asked the front desk to put us in a room that is quiet, but I guess it's impossible at this hotel. The room was clean, avg. size. The valet people were the kindest staff. They have a restaurant and bar on site. We had breakfast and it was just your average hotel food. The room had dual thermostats. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good water pressure. The downsides to the room was there was no full length mirror, and you could hear people and dogs in another room, plus the road noise was very loud. Even with ear plugs its was loud. I've stayed at this Hotel Indigo a couple of times, and each time has been excellent. The people working valet are your first interaction, and they're always so polite and willing to help. Let me know about free street parking starting at 6 pm if I didn't want to pay for valet. The front desk reps are very helpful, also. Even provided me change so I could fill the parking meter. The room has been cleaned the times I've stayed and it is very quiet. You have the regular shade on the windows, then also the blackout shade, so you can get some sleep. The Wanderer restaurant is open till 11pm, but I've only tried the breakfast, and I would recommend the Cowboy Breakfast so you can sample a few different items. The location provides easy access to the highway, and you're walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants, the McKenzie Arena, and anything else you want to check out. read more

Checked into the hotel Indigo for an overnight in Chattanooga. We like IHG hotels because they are just a bit nicer. We booked the king suite so we could enjoy the living room separately from the bedroom. It's well done in this hotel. The room is clean and well appointed. They provide Valet for a parking lot that's on property. Like I can look into the parkinglot that my car is sitting. Why Jack people for $? They have a restaurant and bar in the lobby. Also there's a Peet's coffee kiosk there too. Def would stay again. read more

Lots of good tips to consider before staying here. We'll start with mandatory valet parking. Of course it's convenient, but it's also expensive and makes you feel obligated to tip the valet personnel because, well, that's how they get paid. I don't mind tipping at all, but I don't like the surprise of an added cost to my trip and I never appreciate feeling "obligated" to pay for a service I never asked for in the first place. It's not the valet's fault though, so want to make that clear. But, they do take Venmo, CashApp, and Zell if you're in a situation like us where you don't carry cash. Next up is there are no microwaves in the rooms. Very inconveniencing when you're the type that brings home leftovers to eat later...hoping for some delicious hot food from your last experience, only to realize you have to eat it cold or throw it out? read more

We didn't plan ahead and wanted to stay close to downtown and not far from waterfront. This hotel was a bit more than we usually spend but it was very comfortable and space.. they have a small coffee pot with a few diff coffee choices and creamers with sugar. The bathroom was really quite spacious. Our room came with beautiful walk in shower. The decor was interesting. Parking is not free. You can valley for $18 a day or if you could get into the parking garage across street it was $10 a day. The valley parking was right next to hotel and was super convenient. Our bed was very comfortable and soft top..we enjoyed our stay because we could walk 4 blocks to waterfront. There's no cabs just Uber and lift and public transportation. I would stay again! There's even a bar downstairs on main level. You can go to restaurant on site or order room service. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect with the hotel's proximity to the highway, but the hotel was surprisingly quiet (YAY) and a great location close to/within walking or shuttle distance of many restaurants and attractions downtown. I appreciated that they have an in-house restaurant (that starts serving breakfast at 7!) and an onsite coffee bar (including lattes, etc., not just drip)! #coffeesnob :D The staff are very friendly and helpful, too, and always greeted me with a smile. The room and parking prices were quite a bit less than other hotels, which was ultimately my selling point, and I was impressed that the quality was still high up there; they obviously didn't compromise on that! It's OK, the bed was OK, the bathroom was nice. I had been looking forward to staying in a Hotel Indigo since I first learned about them several years back. I prefer Kimptons, so if there is a Kimpton, I'll stay there. I like the IHG brand. OK, so my room was ready very early, cool! My status was not acknowledged. I had to bring that up. At Kimpton and Holiday Inn, I'm thanked for being a Diamond member, and there are perks for being the elite, which is one reason I continue to stay with IHG, I like their loyalty club. (I mention it not being mentioned because in the surveys the hotel sends out, one of the first questions asked is "Was your Diamond Status acknowledged?") Big downside... no microwaves in the room and no free tea/coffee like Kimpton has. I travel with my own tea to make it if there is none available. They also had no microwaves in the room. Apparently, there was a microwave available on every other floor. My floor was not one, and it was not advertised. Knocks stars off bigtime. As my loyalty check in bonus, I did get free breakfast; I used my free breakfast to get my tea. Valet -- it's a small lot, and I could see my car. Valet was expensive for an uncovered parking lot. Just let me park my own car. This was a dumb unnecessary expense. Charge for parking with a gate to keep non guests out, that's fine, but not for valet. Overall, I'll stay at a Hilton in the future if back in the area, the other brand that I like just as much as IHG. If I see another Indigo, I'll choose a Holiday Inn over it if there is no Kimpton or a Hilton brand. read more

What a clean hotel! The bathroom was spotless and spacious. The shower was very clean and spacious also. That's a pet peeve of mine and the very first room that I seek out and if there is a smell of any kind. I love the fact that there was not carpet on the entire floor only a trim around the bed. The room was spacious and the mattress and bedding just cradled me right in there. I didn't hear any noise. During breakfast, our small group of friends chatted up the GM and the chef. I really wish that I could remember the name of the nice front desk representative who gave me the bottle of lotion ( in the black vessel) from her desk because I inquired about purchasing the balm, conditioner, and shampoo. You guys need to sell that trio. They smell wonderful! Also, I want to thank the GM who offered and made a "to go" cup of green tea for me when he noticed that my hands were full with luggage and bags. Stellar service and hotel. They received 4 stars because there was only one working elevator that we had to wait 20 minutes before it arrived to bring us down. Thanks to the chef who made a special vegetable and egg white breakfast wrap with seasoned side potatoes It was yummy. read more

This place is awesome. I stayed for a couple of nights while passing through as I wanted to explore the area. It's in a pretty good location near some restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is really nice and very reasonably priced. My room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. I ate at the bar in the lobby the first night. The food was really good and there was a good local drink selection. I also ordered room service and it was so fast. All of the staff were so friendly! Parking is valet but the cost wasn't outrageous. Only downside was that a lot of channels weren't working on my room but I wasn't there much and I was able to stream anyway. Also, the hotel failed to clean our room for our second night although we specifically made the request, and they refused to give me our IHG membership discount saying it was my fault that I did not use the app, or specifically mention it when we decided to stay another night after initially booking, although I had noted my membership when I made the reservation. We decided to use our Chase anniversary night and booked a night at the Hotel Indigo in Chattanooga. The room booked was for a King but I called ahead to request a room with two queens. Thanks to my status, they upgraded me to a 1 bedroom suite that had a sofa bed and a king bed. Check in was a breeze and the staff extremely courteous when checking in. We were offered our choice of floors and let our daughter pick - she picked the top floor, the 10th. Big mistake. There really aren't "views" from this hotel so there's no reason for a high floor. The elevator is also pretty slow. In retrospect, a lower floor would have been better. Here's what we appreciated: Our king suite was plenty spacious and decorated with muted colors. The bathroom was spacious and the small vanity area was appreciated and fantastic space as the bathroom counter was quite small. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful. My daughter raved over the comfort of her sofa bed and our king bed was also extremely comfortable. The air conditioner units worked really well to keep the room cool. The minifridge was appreciated as were the waters in the room. Requested linens for the sofa bed and extra pillows were swiftly provided. The valet was also swift to bring our car back around each time. Here's what knocks this stay down from a 5 star stay: Our room oddly had fake thermostats. I really have no idea what the purpose was for these but super weird, right? The air conditioners are in front of the windows and light comes in from behind them. Therefore, the rooms don't have total blackout conditions and once the sun is up, your room is bright. Like, really bright. The rug under the sofa bed curled up and we kept tripping over it, over and over again. These aren't showstoppers but after staying in many Hotel Indigos, I just felt like this one had a few pockmarks in comparison to what I expect from the Hotel Indigo brand. We loved the location and walkability. I highly recommend grabbing dinner at Scottie's on the River and brunch at Ruby Sunshine!!!! read more

Nice hotel. Great for pets: terrable management. We just needed to stay and rest for ONE night on a very long road trip. The TV would not work in one room. They told us someone stole something from the Tv that is why it would not work? The girl today acted as if she was annoyed with us wanting to change rooms but I found out this morning she was new and left on her own the night before. This is a management issue. Terrible thing to do to a new employee and great way to loose one that might be valuable. The new room TV's also did not work and would not pair with our phones to watch something. Could not figure out how to call front desk using their phone. Every button we used made a loud buzzing sound. read more

Centrally located in Downtown Chattanooga near practically all the best spots to visit during your stay. I was lodged here for work and I was very impressed at how immaculately clean the grounds and rooms are. The front desk staff were very cordial and welcoming. The bar and snack stands are open and in the evening food is served and can be ordered straight to your room. Price for the food however is very expensive so I would recommend venturing out to one of the many restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and will look forward to a return visit should my job send me back to Chattanooga again. read more

Plans were made for us and another couple to have a long weekend in Branson, MO but when a winter storm hit that area, we had to change our plans at the very last minute. We were scrambling at midnight trying to think of a place we could visit and decided on Chattanooga. Whew! Found a place to visit, now we need a hotel. My friend found Hotel Indigo and I agreed that it looked like a good place to stay so I made reservations at 12:30 a.m. on the day we were to arrive. On Thursday, February 24, we set out for Chattanooga and didn't arrive until about 6:00. What a lovely hotel. We walked in and Aaron took care of checking us in. He was so nice and welcoming. I asked that we get rooms away from the elevator and he gave us the rooms at the end of the hall and as far away from the elevator as possible. He gave us a list of local restaurants but also suggested we try the bar/lounge there at the hotel. We went to our rooms and unpacked. The rooms are large with a very nice and big TV. The room and bathroom was clean and stocked. The shower is large and easy to get into and out of. So that first night we ended up at the bar downstairs for dinner because we were just too tired to go out. It was 70 degrees and was so warm compared to the 28 degrees we had left. The bar was set up so part was inside and part was outside. The weather led us to sit on the outside and it was so nice and comfy. The bartender (we didn't get his name) was phenomenal and he was there all three nights that we were. He suggested great food choices and poured an awesome drink. He was so friendly but not intrusive. The temperatures dipped during our stay and one night it got very cold. When we got back to the hotel, the bartender asked what I'd like and I said "something warm". He told me to leave it up to him and he brought me the best hot toddy I've ever had. We ended up going to the hotel bar all three nights we were there and most of it was because of the great service and drinks. The only complaint I have - and it's not really a complaint but an observation - is that the bed was way to soft for me. I'm more drawn to a firm bed and this was not. If you like soft beds, you'll love it. The bed doesn't deter me from giving this a five star rating. The great stuff far outweighs the bed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Chattanooga. read more

One of the best last minute hotels that I have ever stayed in! From the initial conversation with Emma to the last minute revisit with the valet guys- nothing but TOP NOTCH. There was 2 rooms available online Saturday morning. By the time I got my credit card they were gone. Called, just to see..... spoke with Emma, who was patient and took my name & number "in case" another room cxled. While at breakfast at the Sewanee Waffle House, she called with 1 available room with a king bed. I volunteered to sleep on the floor, better than in the car. We got there,she was at the desk when we checked in and said "oh Hi Brooke ". Another awesome. Whisp d into the man doing our checkin and poof we had a room with 2 beds Breakfast at the Wanderer was amazing too. And plus, with huge elephants surrounding the building and a beautiful one eyeing you in the lobby bathroom- how could you go wrong. I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it. Hotel Indigo is my favorite hotel design ( except there is no microwave in the room for heating up my water in the morning but they do have microwaves at this location on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th floor . ) This was my first time at this location . Quiet and convenient. They have valet but if that doesn't interest you there are parking meters (free 6pm-8am) and parking garages right outside the front door of the hotel . This was by far the cleanest Hotel I've stayed at while traveling for business. The garbage was never full ( this may not seem like much but it tells me , they pay attention to detail ) The Fitness center has a Echelonfit mirror workout & so much more. The entire staff was friendly. When I passed the front desk, I was always greeted. The hotel restaurant had very impressive cuisine . If you want modern , clean, and attentive service in a hotel that makes you feel like you are on vacation and not staying for business , then this location will take you there . Our extended family met in Chattanooga for a quick 24 hours together. We had a different evening planned, but plans changed due to the weather, and our large group was walking with no destination in mind, with two toddlers who had skipped naps and meals, and the folks at Hotel Indigo welcomed our wild bunch with open arms in their dining room. We were welcomed immediately, and all of us had fun with the chess board, the life-sized Jenga, and the comfortable seating. They pulled tables together for us and took our large and complicated food order with good grace. Meggan (with two G's) was a super star, and we are all grateful for her hospitality. The food was delicious; drinks were cold; company was friendly. We hope to come back soon. read more

Our experience here was just so so. While the Hotel looked like old bones that had been cleaned up and had some renovations done (nice lobby, bar/outdoor seating look great with lighting and decor) our room while nice had a terrible shower faucet. While that's not a deal breaker, it was glaringly bad for a room that looked pretty nice. Our next issue was both nights while we slept something in our room a few times popped loudly like settling wood. It woke both my wife and I up both nights multiple times half terrified/half laughing like wtf is going on. Because they decided to hide the HVAC unit in the furniture that temperature shifting could have been the issue with the furniture. We attempted to use their fitness room both mornings but it was terribly small and with the other 4 people in there it was awkward to even move around as it was more a cardio room crunched into 200 sqft. Probably why you can't find many pictures of it on their website. On our last night we had more issues when we went to the bar with drunk people basically making everyone miserable and management not doing anything about it not to mention the bar in the weeds. For the price I paid will probably stay at the Westin next time. Was looking for a relaxing weekend getaway and came back more stressed and not particularly well rested. read more
