THIS IS ABOUT MANAGER SANCHEZ... Although I am a little late in writing, I wanted to take the time to share my experience during my stay at your hotel the weekend of the 16th. While the property itself was very nice, unfortunately, my overall experience was an absolute zero.On Monday morning, I left briefly to pick up my mother's birthday cake from Publix. In the process, I realized I had forgotten my wallet in my room. I parked in front of the hotel in the designated unloading/loading area and ran inside to quickly retrieve it. As I was heading upstairs, a front desk staff member stopped me and stated that I had to move my car immediately, as parking there was a fire hazard. I explained it would only take me two minutes, but she insisted I move. Out of respect, I complied without issue.However, when I returned about 20 minutes later, I noticed a van parked in the same spot. I went to the front desk and asked why it was acceptable for them to park there but not me. The employee stated they were "working." My response was simple: if it is truly a fire hazard, then no one should be allowed to park there, regardless of the reason. She refused to engage further and went to get her manager.The manager approached me in an extremely rude and dismissive manner. I calmly tried to explain the situation, but he showed no interest in hearing me out. Frustrated by his unprofessionalism, I admittedly called him an "unprofessional asshole" before walking away. Shockingly, he then escalated the situation by yelling to staff to "Call 911, call 911 now.This is where the experience became not only upsetting, but humiliating. At 43 years old, I have never had the police called on me, nor have I had any negative interactions with law enforcement. Being escorted out of the hotel in front of others was beyond embarrassing and completely unwarranted.Because of this, what was supposed to be a joyful trip celebrating my mother's birthday was ruined. I even canceled my plan to stay an extra day. As a professional content creator with over 2.2 million followers, I will be sharing this experience publicly, not out of spite, but in hopes that no one else has to endure this type of treatment in the future. I urge your management team to review how situations like this are handled. Guests deserve to be treated with fairness, respect, and professionalism values I did not experience during my stay. read more

Happy Summer '24! I visited Miami area a couple of times, and regardless of where I go I always choose Hilton. Besides having worked for Hilton in the past, it is just a hotel brand that I trust. Unfortunately of the three Hampton Inns I visited over the summer while traveling, this one was the worst. From the top, as a surprise to my girlfriend I booked this room so we could go see some family that leaved close by. Check-in of course isn't until 3, but sometimes, almost every time, if your room is ready, then they will let you check-in a little bit earlier at no cost. So I arrived around 2:20ish and walk up to the front desk, wait for the front desk person to finish helping another customer, introduce myself, offer my license and card on file, and ask if it was possible to check-in earlier. Very rudely I was met with a check-in is at 3. I kindly responded yes, I am aware, but what I asked is if it was possible to check-in early, and highlighted this time if she could check if my room was ready. I don't know if she really looked, because I don't believe she could have verified if the room was ready or not with how quickly she looked down, looked up, said no, and proceeded to do what she was doing as if I didn't even exist. Okay, off to a great start. Thankfully there was a bar directly across from the hotel, so I popped in there for a minute and waited until 3, came back at three, different person at the front desk, and call me weird, but I tend to forget the nasty people in life and their names quickly because they aren't worth my head space, but the good people, I remember them, so Zach, cheers to you mate. Even though my room wasn't ready, he was kind enough to let me use the workout room while I waited and even comped a couple of protein bars for free; my guy. The room was basic, nothing to write home to, but plenty of space. One thing I really liked in hindsight compared to one of the Hamptons I stayed at was the width of the hallways; spacious. Besides the initial issue with the girl at the front desk, the second issue was that sometime in the middle of the night I woke up and turned on a light and saw two sizeable cockroaches, one in the middle of the floor and the other on the AC unit. Needless to say when we checked out I told the person, different guy at the front desk, his response? You'll get an email with a feedback request, and that leads me to issue number 3. I did get that email with the feedback request, and I filled it out, and guess what, nothing. No call, text, email, messenger pigeon, nothing regarding it, so when I found myself back in the same area the following month I called up the hotel. I was told by the girl at the front desk, who I later found out when I got there was the same girl that got an attitude with me when I was there last time, that I would need to speak with the front desk manager. I decided since I had to go back through that area anyways to just stop there until such a time as I got a call back, mind you I was 45 minutes away, I never did get a call back. So I walk in and wouldn't you know it, the front desk manager is there. She says I was just about to call you, (she wasn't), and I'm like, ok, and explain the situation. She states that unfortunately something of this nature has to be handled by the general manager, but that the general manager is very diligent about responding to complaints. I told her that I submitted a feedback request via email a month ago and never heard from anyone. As if I was lying she said, maybe you overlook the email correspondence from the manager, because again, he is very good at getting back to people. That really pissed me off, and I kindly let her know, no, that is not the case, I check my emails including my spam on a daily basis, and I definitely would not have deleted something from Hilton, especially when I was waiting for someone to contact me. I think she understood my annoyance, but didn't offer an apology for the offense, she just said that she would have the GM contact me. Well guess what ladies and gentlemen, it's been a month, and you know what, I still haven't been contacted by anyone. I did, however, submit a complaint to customer service with Hilton International about this location, so hopefully, in the event you do stay here and have an issue, the very responsive general manager will actually get back to you. read more

A great Hampton Inn location! Obviously Hampton Inn is not a five star hotel, but we still had a wonderful experience! The staff are all so kind and friendly. They were incredibly helpful to us! The hotel was clean, great free breakfast, good amenities. It was very quiet and well kept. I definitely recommend this location! read more

When I travel for work I generally stay in a Hampton Inn as I know what to expect and this location did not disappoint. I was able to check in ahead on my app and choose my room. I walked in, asked for my bottles of water for being a HHonors member and headed straight up to my room. The room was clean, modern and spacious. I made myself a waffle for breakfast and had some fresh fruit. Hampton Inn consistently delivers a good product at a decent price point. There was tons of parking and the lobby had it if seating. read more

What kept this from being a one star review was the staff. My dive boat was late. I got back to the hotel at 1 pm, which was my late check out limit. After many nights in Marriott properties it was nice to change it up at this Hampton Inn. The staff was accommodating and we had a nice room looking toward the ocean and not the busy Hwy 1. The location was relatively close to the beach. The bathroom was very up-to-date though the water pressure was lousy. The Direct TV in our room was not working. After two calls one of their tech people came up to reset the system and solve the problem. The breakfast at least had some non-packaged food items unlike the Fairfields we had been at. I always like the waffles though the rest of the hot items were weak. Overall an OK stay. read more

Bed Bugs! Edit: Manny Sanchez, the business rep will say I was confused about where I stayed. I added photos with the exact location where they were taken -- data that iPhone collects when you use the camera. He has repeatedly insinuated that I am a liar, and made this same defamatory response when I post reviews. He threatened me as well. My pictures show that he is a liar, gaslighting me, and his comments show an outright disrespect and disregard for patrons of this hotel. After staying at this hotel 9 times since September 2023, I have an encounter where I will not go back. On August 19th I stayed at this property, assigned room 614. I entered, dropped my bag on the desk, and a bed bug scurried out from under the remote. Caught the bed bug in a tissue, brought it and all my things downstairs to show front desk. Got a new room and apology. New room: Checked to make sure no bed bugs, but in the morning, saw hairs all over floor and trash left behind. Voiced concerns over issues with front desk, spoke to Hilton honors support line as prescribed by staff. Was told that hotel manager must resolve. Call hotel manager and was treated with disgusting behavior. Manager said it was hearsay. After staying in the same place 9 times in 12 months, I have no motive to make anything up or lie -- as I was being accused. Was told to call Hilton honors support. Got resolution from honors support, and 11 minutes after, I get a call from PB1 Hotels (the proprietor of this Hampton Inn) with retaliatory threats. I was told I can no longer stay at this hotel, and they will cancel my Hilton Membership. Disgusting, harassing behavior from the manager of this hotel. I was looking for a hotel to stay in after my flight was canceled . Check in was easy, but my room was disgusting. There were stains everywhere. The carpet in the hallway stinks very bad and so does the carpet in the rooms. While I was sleeping I realized a disgusting odor coming from the sheets. The lamp, tub, sheets and headboard were stained. The TV had basic channels and no options for streaming services. Towels and wash clothes weren't stained thankfully. read more

This place has a serious fire alarm issue. Was refunded fully for both nights, derek refused to work with and I quote, "my boss is non of your business, corporate doesn't talk to people like you". All Hamptons are amazing. This one is no different. We had a awesome walk in shower. I think our room was handicap accessible and had a barn door that slid open for the bathroom closet so it took up no space in the halls. Great blackout shades. Very friendly staff all were wonderful. read more

After having a beautiful stay for months, on my last week, my room was wiped out. When I say wiped out, I mean cleaned out! From my toothbrush to my dog bowls and everything, from jewelry, to a laptop, taken. When management was called he didn't come in to investigate. He waited until the next day. I called him, and he never returned any calls since. The staff was kind and nice but I guess the house keeping staff are thieves! Either that or management! Either way, I filed a police report and getting an attorney. Lost almost 4k worth of items! Don't trust this group! We stayed here overnight before my husband finished his Open Water scuba diving training. We drove from Cape Coral and were late arrivals. We were able to do contactless check-in and room entry via our phones. The room here provided a good night's sleep and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. It was clean and there were plenty of outlets for charging devices and flat surfaces for luggage. No complaints; we'd be happy to stay here again. read more

Really enjoyed my stay at this location. Plus, as a Deaf traveler, I always ask for the Sonic bed shaker alarm. Well, the young lady at the counter wasn't aware, and told me that they could give me a wake-up call. I told her that I wouldn't be able to hear it. She asked the General Manager, Joel H. I wanted to give this hotel 4 Stars -- I couldn't. I've never been to hotel where you are given one, yes one, wash cloth and two towels! At least 2 wash cloths and 4 towels. My husband and I shared the one wash cloth because housekeeping wasn't available after hours. They had a wonderful breakfast there with omelets, fried potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal and assorted fruits. My contention is with fruit. We took some fruit to go. My husband bit into the green apple he took. It was rotten inside. I had an orange which I could not peel. I cut it later (thinking I could slice it), there was no juice and and it was hard. On a positive note, I must say that our room was clean and updated. The staff was very nice. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would! The service and professionalism is horrible! I called to let them know I would have a late check in due to my flight being delayed. We got in at 1 am, got to the hotel to find out the receptionist CANCELLED our reservation. Additionally there was an issue with our payment as we had a lost cancelled card on file. Instead of calling for a new form of payment, They just said "well you weren't here, plus your card was declined..." Long story short we were left scrambling to find lodging at 2 am because they were full! We have always had great service from the Hampton inn as we are loyal Hilton property consumers- steer clear of this joint! You'll be left without a room and a proper excuse as to why! This location is outdated and management is poor at best. I was told at the time of booking the reservation that there would be no cancellation fee but that changed when I had to cancel due to business changes. My recent stay started with a broken elevator at check in that required me to lug my suitcase up 7 flights of stairs at the end of a long work day which was not exactly a pleasant experience. Otherwise this hotel was ok. My room was decently clean when I arrived, I noticed a few spots in the bathroom that could have been cleaned better but nothing terrible. The breakfast that was included was fine. I didn't interact much with the staff outside of the elevator incident when checking in so can't say too much on that front. It was the cheapest hotel I found in the area that didn't have atrocious reviews so it was about what I would expect from that situation. read more

Where do I begin with this hotel. I noticed that one of the 2 elevators weren't working and that was never fixed the entire 5 days that we were there. I checked in go into my room and wanted some background noise so I wanted to turn on the tv but I couldn't find the remote so I checked underneath the tv stand and what did I find....dirty socks. Went to the front desk and they moved us to another room. 2nd day there I had to ask five times for the room to be cleaned just because we had gone to the beach the day before. after the 5th time of me asking they "cleaned" it. The hotel blanket was just thrown on the bed and it was half ass job. checking out we find out that the second elevator is now out of order as well and we had to bring down our luggage 4 flight of stairs. A good place to stay. My brother and I had rooms at the end of the floor and enjoyed peace and quiet. The hotel appeared to be new. The king room was well appointed and actually had enough light to read. The window had a darkening shade and a more decorative shade - no problem with sunlight. The bathroom was excellent - a walk-in shower large enough for my 6'5" height and good water pressure. Plenty of counter space room. The bathroom sink was missing the aerator in both of our rooms. The desk clerk said that the City had recently performed a water system test that damaged every aerator in the hotel and replacement parts were on back order. Not a concern, just a strange occurrence. A single sliding "barn door" covers the bathroom and closet. Practical but not my favorite design. Breakfast was the usual Hampton affair with one notable difference: the hotel offered, for the first time, homemade smoothies for breakfast. They were fantastic! They were also quickly devoured. Make sure you grab one as soon as they are brought out. Overall - I would stay here again. read more

I would stay clear of ever making a reservation at this hotel. I had booked a reservation at this hotel and was traveling by air to get there. I was notified that I could check using the app before arriving. I checked in mid-day on the day of my arrival, indicating I would arrive after 10pm. When my plane landed at 10:30 pm and I turned on my phone I received a call from the hotel front desk saying they had no room for me. The hotel would do nothing to attempt to rebook me anywhere and refused to give me any assistance. I have lodged a complaint with Hilton and they have not followed up with me. I have been an honors club member for years, but I think it is time to go elsewhere. read more

I'll start this off citing that I attempted to contact the general manager (at the time of this review) Joel Tutein multiple times to see if he could provide any insight into these problems and was ignored. After multiple follow up attempts, I figured my next best option is to help someone else avoid the problems we had. We are diamond members and typically don't feel compelled to write reviews either way, but since I use them so often to determine where I should stay, felt this was worthy of a contribution. Night 1, the fire alarm went off twice during the night, once around 2AM and then again shortly after 7AM. Both events lasted under a minute and we attributed it to 'bad luck' and went on with our day. Night 2, the fire alarm went off again shortly after 7AM and we approach the front desk who was less than helpful and attempted to blame "kids" for night 2 and was "surprised" to hear it had happened the night prior. This meant either the staff at this hotel doesn't communicate at all or they are hoping to leverage ignorance to avoid addressing the problem From previous experiences I know that a kid pulling the fire alarm would fully trigger the system and require a visit from the fire department to validate it was truly a false alarm, where the short duration of the alarm sounded so far made it seem more like a bug in the system. We were partially thankful of this as it meant we didn't have to evacuate, while simultaneously disconcerted that the fire safety system may not actually work at all. It got worse. Night 3 we arrived at the hotel (Christmas night) and were advised that the elevator was broken, staying on the top floor, this meant 7 flights of stairs. The front desk attended shrugged off the issue (he wouldn't have to go upstairs after all) instead of offering any alterative accommodations. We left the next morning at 4AM to avoid getting woken up by the fire alarm. There are so many hotels in the Pompano Beach area that you're much better off staying somewhere else and trying your luck there. It's unfortunate all around, I recognize that it may be that Joel Tutein has just been handed a bad situation and can't do anything about it, but he would have had to try to explain that, and evidently that's not worth his time. On the positive side the building is relatively new and seemed to be in great shape (just needs a new elevator and fire alarm system). In my opinion, the best case for the property is that they are bought out by a different hotel chain and/or go under new management. read more

The hotel itself was fine, no problem, good complimentary breakfast. Stayed there from 7/13/22 - 7/30/22. I didn't really get a good deal on my stay as I'd hoped. This was truly disappointing, as I was thrown out of my own property for trying to escape slavery and exposing human trafficking (yes, that's correct). I spoke with Maria, the sales liason, and she was very professional but basically only saw dollar signs. I explained to her my situation early on, telling her that I wanted to stay for awhile until I was able to find a new place to stay and asked for some help in getting me some temporary lodging, as I didn't have enough funds/liquidity to be able to afford to stay there long term. She put me in touch with Derrick, the hotel manager. Unfortunately, he was very hostile and told me as the manager, he needed to "establish credit" otherwise he couldn't do anything for me. He kept cutting me off and being hostile while I tried to explain my situation - very rude!! Unfortunately I wasted all of my remaining funds on the place & getting my things into storage and am now homeless in Broward County. I will remember them making sure to go through all of my cash and then letting me fend for myself instead of getting me some help. His hostility and failure to try to find help for me is ironic, because on the Hilton Corporate page the company claims to be against forced slavery and human trafficking. read more

Very fresh and clean! Light breakfast with scrambled, coffee and bagels is included. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Shout outs to Tanisha, Kevin and honorable mention to Diana who walked straight into the wall looking the wrong way :p A small gym with treadmills and dumbbells is available although I opted for coffee and the news instead... It's a quick Uber from Lauderdale by the sea so considering the price and freshness I would definitely come back when in the area. read more

I had a very good time staying at this immaculate, clean, professional hotel. The staff were very friendly even the other guests staying at this hotel was very friendly and pleasant during my stay. Kenny the maintenance man was extremely professional and help when I had a clogged toilet. The area where this hotel is perfect because it is 10 minutes away to Pompano beach and 10 minutes the other to Fort Lauderdale. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. I would definitely stay here again. They even have a laundry mat on site. Never seen that before. The swimming pool looks brand new and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Florida. read more
