Had a group of people and made the mistake of eating at the Rooftop. Half of it was uneaten at the end because was so bad and keep in mind they charge premium prices and add a 20% tip automatically. Drinks were good but if ordering food, prepare yourself to send it back and except a very small portion for the price. read more

The best thing this hotel has going for it is the location. The breakfast was not good. There were stains and hairs all over one of our beds. I asked for new sheets and got sheets that were actually stained even worse. The beds are incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The hot tub is not hot but warm. There were spoons in the hot tub and soy sauce packets around the outside of it. I went to use some of the dishes in our suite and they were dirty. There was wallpaper peeling from the wall in our room. The door to the outdoor patio did not lock. All that you had to do was push on the door to open it. We weren't on the first floor, so wasn't concerned about somebody breaking in but we have small children and I didn't like that all they had to do was push on the door to get out to the patio. The check in process was tedious, especially as a Hilton member. It took too long when I had already requested for a digital key. The pull out couch mattress was FILTHY! The rug was dirty as well. I complained about it to the front staff. They apologized but they were booked so we couldn't switch our room. The front desk employee said someone would reach out. I did receive a text asking about stay. I advised about the room and they apologized, but that was it. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, which was a plus. There was also a gym I took advantage of while there. Parking was close by in a garage. The amenities and location was not bad but I would not come back. I planned a staycation and decided to pick this hotel because it was right across the beach and had a pier. Honestly, BEST choice ever! I can go on a rant about how much I enjoyed my stay! To save the readers time and myself from writing the longest review ever I will just leave highlights. CHECK IN: - I was able to check in before I arrived by downloading the app - picked my own room on the app - key to room was available on app before my arrive - parking $16 per day (make sure to stop by the front desk before parking your car so you can get the key for the garage) ROOM: - King suite city view with balcony 10/10 - everything in the room was spotless clean - cups, plates, soap and sponge provided BAR: - Happy Hour everyday 3pm- 6pm - bar is open til 10pm - kids pizza $10 (I do not recommend) it was worst then cafeteria pizza from elementary - drink of the month $8 on HH .. not bad - BBQ & chicken flatbread $20 .. I'll pass * spent $42 on the bar.. 1 drink, 1 kids drink, flatbread and a kids pizza. Service charge is included. I only went there once during my stay. I definitely would recommend eating/ drinking offsite. POOL: - so fun - lots of kids during the weekend I went which was great for my son - hot tub was not hot.. from what I heard they were waiting on a piece to get it fixed - rack with towels you grab on the way to pool - tables with umbrellas & beach chairs * pool area could have been cleaner. During my 3 days there I only saw the cleaning crew come and clean once at 8:30pm. There was clothes left behind, chairs all out of place. Cups and plates from bar laying around. Was it completely awful? No.. but it would have been nice to not have to look at mess. BREAKFAST: - all 3 days options were the same - someone on the other side of the counter to assist/ monitor you I guess? - waffles, pre made omelette, bread, bagels, oatmeal, yogurts , sausage egg and cheese sandwiches - overall good breakfast for being free * during breakfast crew was cleaning and keeping tables clean. I personally would have preferred not having the person behind the counter. I heard her ask a lady if she had kids in the room (because she was grabbing multiple things) what is the lady just liked to eat? LOBBY AREA: - people mingled around - pool table was a great addition - had 3 different game machines - bikes for rent - lots and lots of sitting area to just hang out and relax - 24 hour coffee and tea area ACROSS FROM HOTEL: - 1 min walk - beach - burgerfi - pizza - ice cream -lucky fish bar/ restaurant - oceanic restaurant * Hotel offers 8AM yoga. Free for hotel guest & $20 for everyone else. It's held on the 6th floor roof top with beach views. Absolutely stunning. During the end of yoga the teacher asked if anyone wanted to leave a donation. From the looks of it almost everyone did :) To end my the long review I said I wouldn't be leaving... I definitely recommend this hotel. read more

My fiancé and I stayed here for a wedding, and we were impressed! This hotel is five stars for: 1. Proximity to Pompano beach and restaurants (it's less than.1 mile of a walk to several restaurants and the gorgeous pier/beach). 2. Amazing friendly staff and great service. 3. This hotel was just recently built, and all the amenities are new, and functioning, the design is very clean and well thought out. 4. Room was very spacious and SO clean. 5. What an awful person they have as a manager here. An utter embarrassment. I asked after we had to check out if I could jump on their wifi later in the day for a Teams call when we checked out and the nice person at the desk said that shouldn't be a problem. When I returned of course she wasn't there anymore and no one seemed to know any guest wifi passwords I could use for my meeting. I'm a Hilton Diamond member, probably staying with them almost 90 days a year and I've always been able to get a guest pass if check in early before the rooms ready or vice versa. This manager wasn't having it no matter how much I explained or even showing her how many Hilton points I've accumulated- over 150K. Her condensing tone almost pulled me out of calm and poised professional character. We have stayed at this location or the Embassy Suites in Deerfield for Spring Break for years but never again. I'm going to out her on every social platform I'm on. What a horrible experience. read more

We've been in Florida for one week. We started in Niceville Florida traveled all the way through the panhandle. Stayed in a couple of best westerns and they really were the best. For the money we paid we got much more. Now we paid the most here at the Marriott and definitely didn't get value for our money. They want to charge you for everything no microwave in the room the coffee pods don't even work in the coffee maker. Cleanliness is not the best but it's OK. Not happy with the hotel for the money. The employees did a great job. I charge $35 for a wristband that we can't use because of the weather doesn't make any sense and Wi-Fi we never needed it. Because Verizon is very strong here in this area. So it's just a waste of money definitely did not get my value.. read more

Right of the beach and pier! It felt clean and updated and frontdesk staff super friendly. My son had an audition and I needed to kill some time. So asked if they had a bar and the result is; yes a rooftop bar! Now those are my favorites! No parking on site but street parking right in front (paybyphone , $3.75/hr) or a large parking lot right next door ($2.50/hr on weekend and I believe a $1 during the week - creditcard only) Walked back and went to the rooftop. Had a nice draft beer (happy hour 5-7pm and $5 beer/ $6 wines) and was able to kill my time efficiently. The rooftop has a lot of seating, as well as sofas and fire pits. Live music and a good vibe. I am sure corporate events also rent the space. View of the beach. Unfortunately it was very very windy and cold last Sunday so don't have pictures but when I am back in Pompano Beach I most likely will enjoy another drink on the roof and take some decent pictures again. Restrooms clean, bar clean, friendly staff, friendly people. I am sure the hotel is great too by the vibe I felt. read more

This was our first time here and we are from Fort Lauderdale but we wanted a change of scenery so we went down to the beach. Ended up crossing over to this rooftop bar that was mentioned by an employee who worked on the beach. It was very quiet not busy but it was great weather with it being windy on a hot rooftop. We went straight to the bar and ordered drinks which it was happy hour, $10 Tito's which I was happy about! Our bartender was such amazing energy, I had to ask how to spell her name as it was very unique, Sinit was her name. I honestly think without her this place would not have been a fun experience. It was the weekend afternoon and about 5 people there. She also recommended this truffle pizza flatbread that was amazing!!! Hopefully they get busier for that vibe but I'm giving it a 5 because of the Bartender making experience great! read more

Many restaurants close by. Our family spent 4th of July and we watched the fireworks from the rooftop. It was an amazing experience.They offer free breakfast which is so convenient on the way to the beach. I recommend the rooms on the second floor with pool access from your varanda. On Feb 22 & 23, 2025 we stayed at the Home 2 Suites in Pompano Beach, FL. This hotel does not care or accommodate people with disabilities. Beside the issue with the parking described below, the ladder in the pool was also broken. We need a handicap parking space due to my boyfriend's disability. Upon arrival there was an open Handicap parking space and we parked in it. A few hours later we noticed a vehicle parked between 2 handicap parking spaces on the white lines intended for wheelchair accessibility. We went inside to communicate to the front desk and was told they would investigate, Later on the parked car was still there, my boyfriend could not get into the drivers side door and we inquired again, The woman at the desk, Stephanie, said it was her car and that she was entitled to park there due to an injured foot. She laughed and mocked us when we took her picture. We tried contacting the manager on duty and was told there was none. Throughout the weekend there were parked cars in the handicap spots with no handicap tag or license plates. On Monday, we asked to speak to the General Manager. My boyfriend spoke to the assistant GM, Maria and she indicated that it was ok for Stephanie to park there because she had a doctor's note. This is not ADA compliant. We called Hilton corporate to file a complaint and nothing was done.The assistant GM received the photos and never replied back. read more

We go on a girls trip every year. This year we picked Pompano Beach. My husband who is a Hilton Diamond Member gifted us points for our 3 night stay at Home2 Suites. I walked in to see if there was anyway to check in early. We were all tired from traveling. Jenny at the front desk greeted me. She was so sweet and kind. She said our room wasn't ready but would call me when it was ready. I asked if there were any upgrades we could get with my husbands status. I figured I'd ask since it wasn't the weekend and I was hoping for a bit of a bigger room since there were 3 of us girls. She said she would do her best. About 2 hours later Jenny called and said our room was ready and that she thought we would be pleased with our new room. Were we pleased? ABSOLUTELY, YES!!!! Our room was on the 5th floor, wrapped around the corner, we had an awesome ocean view. Jenny clearly went out of her way and we really appreciated it. She is an asset to this hotel. We all can see her going far in her career, especially if she stays in the hospitality industry. What a pleasure for us to have such a young, professional, and honestly, a nice person to have at our hotel for our stay. Very impressed!! THANK YOU, JENNY!!!! We really enjoyed our stay. read more

Today, 7/05/21, my wife and I went to the new Fisher Family pier, as we have done previously. It was beautiful. We also stopped in to see the new Home2 Suites/Tru by Hilton. We met Tybria at the front desk. She was as nice as she could be, and very amiable, as she reviewed the amenities of this great new addition to the revitalized Beach and Pier area. It opened only 4 days ago. The lobby is nicely adorned with beautiful art and and there are nice meeting areas and prívate cubby work stations. The Pool Area is very nice. What we enjoyed the most, was the expansive roof area, which gave fantastic views of the Ocean, Pier, Oceanic, Beach House, and retail stores, etc. Everything is so close and only steps away. There were cushioned chairs and heaters, for a cooler night. A nice bar will be enjoyed by all and the whole roof area was a great place for live music and dancing. For those folks who want a nice vacation or just a few days to unwind, this Hilton property is for you. Stop in and see Tybria. You will be very glad you did. Went to the roof bar and two things i did not like it, music is bad during Happy hour, and drinks are way too expensive, a house vodka soda 14 dollars during Happy hours, i will not go back w those prices. Owners should know the average income of pompano beach before they charge those prices. read more

Awful. Room dirty. Pillows have dirty stains. Bug (spider or some other fast brown bug??) ran across pillows when I moved them to see if the other pillows were also stained. Curtain huge brown stained. Polyester sheets and comforter is a polyester bed skirt! Bathroom sliding door into room dirty. Hot water for tea downstairs was room temperature at best. Hotel is dog-friendly, but the area is not. Restaurants around hotel are few and either too expensive or too loud. Not a winner for us, sadly. read more

This hotel is and unexpected 5 star! I pulled up at night and thought - oh gosh where I am I? I was pleasantly surprised ! Rooms were UBER modern, clean and very cool. The entire hotel had a welcome vibe - high ceiling lobby - lots of well thought out hang out space for families AND work travelers downstairs - computer stations, tv's etc. Great grab & go station 24/7. The staff was super friendly..... Everything with a smile. The pier and beach are right there !! I was on business and got to walk the pier with my coffee in the am - what a view. Highly recommend this sort of unlikely candidate for ocean side. read more

Our daughter made a surprise visit this holiday season! Sad news is that we had guests already in our spare bedroom. So we had to find her a local hotel, real fast. I called the hotel directly and got Val on the phone. I feel that from the moment she answered, I was in good hands. She is wonderful! I explained the situation, and that I fully understand it's holiday season, but I was desperate. Val to the rescue. She was so accommodating and told me that we can have a room. I told her I would call her back. I spoke to my wife, and we agreed to book the room. Instead of calling, I walked over to secure the reservation. We only live a block away. When I walked in I was greeted by the front desk. And sure enough, it was Val. With Val was Donavan. It was at that moment I realized, it wasn't just Val. It's the culture. Already I saw well trained and well managed employees. Thank you for providing exceptional people like Val and Donavan. As a side note: We became such good friends so quickly, I gave them nicknames. I've stayed in many hotels in this area and all over and this was most enjoyable. The staff is wonderful and cleanliness outstanding. I work for disney resorts and for the life of me have never encountered a better customer service team from the front desk to housekeeping and the breakfast food and beverage crew. Everyone was attentive and went above and beyond. My grandkids had the best time and loved that a few of the staff even called them by name. Easy, professional, friendly checkin . Room had more than enough room. Very clean. Great layout of hotel from free arcade games , foosball, and pool table. Pool and hot tub clean and nice . Pool deck with tons of chairs, tables and scattered umbrellas. 6th floor roof top bar with entertainment! Little area in front lobby for snacks/drinks. Free coffee around the clock. Continental breakfast , very nice . Staff impressively keeps up with the mad rush of hungry tourists. Parking garage next door--- $21 night , in/out whenever. Great family vacation! We spent 2 days in this hotel and we didn't want to leave!! Lovely hotel and it is brand new! Location - fantastic! Just a few steps away from the beach and the best restaurants in Pompano! Amenities - we loved the pool on the 2nd floor. You can relax in your room and watch the kids swimming, because our balcony was just a few steps away from the pool. The Gym - has all the equipment needed and a great view to the pool. The room - very spacious and clean. The Breakfast - we enjoyed the morning coffee a breakfast a lot. The bright and happy colors in the hotel made me and my friends feel so positive during our entire stay. The rooftop is the perfect place fo events! We watched the 4th of July fireworks from there and it was perfect! We will be back soon :) read more

Nice but very expensive. They add an 18% service charge on everything and don't make it particularly obvious. The waitresses all say that the hotel gets a piece of that and that anything additional would be appreciated. Exactly why am I paying the hotel a service charge?? read more

Stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend and loved it! The location is top notch! It's literally a 1 minute walk from the beach and the Pompano Pier, lots of dining options in the area within walkable distance. We were very pleased to find a full size fridge, microwave, sink and even a dishwasher in our room. Truly a great option for families on extended stay. Anyone traveling to this area, I highly recommend this beautiful new hotel. We attended a wedding a few weeks ago here at the rooftop. The wedding itself needed very few decorations due to the amazing views of the ocean. It was convenient to stay at the hotel as well. We stayed at the home 2 part & the rooms were very clean & modern. It even had a fully stocked mini kitchen with dishes, cookware, utensils, ect in case you want to cook a little something. Great for traveling families as well. There was a bar on the rooftop that served food & drinks. Also we were able to go downstairs to get breakfast which was included in the price of the hotel. Now as far as the location, you can walk across the street & your at the beach! It was awesome. There were many restaurants to enjoy within a block from the property. This place is a winner in my book. Can't wait to come back. read more

I seen this hotel through my Hilton app and was impressed with the pics so I booked a night. I was disappointed once I got there. Although they have a cute setup I was no longer impressed with some things that unfolded.This place provides dishes because they have a kitchenette in the rooms but in the room I had, the dishes were dirty in the dishwasher. The garbage disposal didn't work so the sink water wouldnt go down in the sink. I didn't have any bath soap to shower with and there was blonde hair in the sheets. I'm pissed because this place was $400 a night and it turned out not to be worth it. I'm sad that I had to spend that kind of money and not have five start service. I will not be returning. read more
