Walls are thin - we could hear our upstairs neighbors quite loudly. Breakfast was fine. Decent selection of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit and yogurt. I was hoping for some southern options like the fried catfish in other photos but they didn't have it when we were there. The dining room is nice and felt elevated with real plates and silverware. There is also a bar in the original carriage house. Overall it's a unique place to stay. The historic mansion is nicely decorated with plenty of charm. I would consider staying here again the next time I'm in the area.

We checked in and apparently the hotel was sold out. The night shift manager said he was unsure how that happend, but he called a couple guests who had booked rooms to confirm their stay, and someone cancelled. The rooms were large, and clean with a mini fridge and microwave. They offered a complimentary hot breakfast and the woman who was in charge, was very friendly and accomodating. They have an outdoor pool and spa as well which is nice.
