My wife and I had a brief but wonderful stay. We were in sudden need for lodging late one night when I couldn't get back into my father's subdivision. I went to this Hampton Inn for a room because it was the closest Hilton property. Tori was absolutely wonderful in getting us set up with a room very quickly at 1am, and made sure that we had everything we needed for the night since we didn't have our luggage. The foyer smelled like candy, and our room smelled very pleasant and clean. There wasn't really any noise, and even the room heater wasn't too loud. I always hate the pillows at Hampton Inn's, but these were actually pretty good. Shower had good pressure, and I loved the rubber ducky in the bathroom! When we checked out at 6:15am Tori was still on duty. She asked about my well being after such a short night. It was nice that she remembered us, and that she cared enough to check in as we were checking out. I am a diamond member, so I stay at a lot of Hilton properties. This is one of the best experiences that I have had. I don't leave a ton of reviews, but this business deserves a special mention. read more

We stayed here one night while travelling out west. If you are travelling via I-80, I don't recommend staying here as it's a solid 10 minutes north of the East/West route. Be sure you are booking the right Hampton Joliet. As far as our stay goes, the hotel was under construction... Heavy remodelling included significant drywall dust, torn up carpeting, etc. Nonetheless, we still paid over $180 for one night in a remodeled room - but it wasn't cleaned yet. On the one hand, we were grateful to get a room. On the other hand, I'm not sure the room was ready to be rented yet. The staff was helpful and friendly, the food was typical Hampton Inn breakfast. The new colors / room layouts are great - the hotel is a good choice if you were in the area. I think the construction is a short-term issue. Would stay here again for sure. read more

we were moving, with a truck that would only take up 2 spots in the back of the hotel. manager told my husband " the hotel was booked up, he would have to park somewhere else" I went to talk to him, "then where do we park!?" "we will have to go to another hotel then!" he changed his mind, said we could. in the morning at 5:00 there was 50% of the parking still open , and a Dodge Ram with trailer taking up 8 parking spot alone!!!!! elevator didn't work! pool was closed (91 degrees outside) And we had NO SHOWER GEL TO WASH OURSELVES WITH. What's with garbage bags left outside rooms on the floor ALL night, smells up the hallways. Finally, from 11:00pm- 3:00am there were young adults going in and out of their rooms, talking loudly, laughing....got absolutely no sleep!!! and that's the only reason for my stay!!! for a good night SLEEP!!!! read more

Horrible Hotel Stay! The hotel needed to be closed for renovation! The renovation workers were banging, drilling and talking loudly at 6 am every morning, even on Thanksgiving! The rooms were filthy and disgusting! Very unsanitary! I did not get the Hilton Honors Member treatment. The price I paid for this hotel stay did not match the experience! A homeless shelter is much cleaner than this hotel! I became sick staying in this hotel! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!! Shame on you Hilton!!! read more

Hotel is in a great location to where my husband is working at. It's across the street from the Mall and other shopping centers. Plenty of options for restaurants as well. Hotel is a little dated but the bed are very comfortable and the staff have been extremely accommodating. read more

After a year still under construction. Non existing vending machines and the ones that were present didn't work properly again. The pool was open but 40 degrees at 7am When I brought it up to the maintenance guys ( who were in pool pump room working on pump and heater in front of me) He said huh that's weird I tempted it at 8am and it was 84 degrees. I responded with that's impossible especially since your working on the heater now. I decided to sit in the 3ft end whe they worked on it, hoping to get some heat. They walked out not saying anything. Then puts a out of order sign on door. Requested discount on stay since I'm here Friday and Saturday and was denied. Not the treatment nor best experience when not able to use all aspects of hotel. read more

The highway noise is unbearable. As a traveling salesman, I stay in hotels every other week and most are near or in close proximity to busy interstates. This property has the worst noise barriers I have ever experienced. Since they were completely booked, they would not switch me rooms. The property is going through a remodel now April 2022, if they change the windows it might help. However, I will not be staying here again. The fitness center is mediocre. You know how the people make the places...well from our check In by one of the friendliest, most cheerful young ladies ever, I knew this was going to be a great stay. The level of professionalism and genuine welcome was outstanding. As we stood there, I noticed the other young lady had the same level of cheer and customer service. Our room was a king with a pull-out sofa for our son. He needed an extra blanket and they took care of that immediately. Room was cool and comfortable. We got a great night's sleep, and the next Morning as we were leaving, I was greeted by Amit!!! Talk about the cream on top. He made sure our stay was pleasant and even grabbed us snacks and a smoothie after breakfast hours. Who does that?! Amit that's who. In this age of crappy customer service and a shortage of kindness, the Hampton Inn in Joliet off of Mall Loop is a breath of fresh air. We would stay here in a heartbeat! This is my second stay at the hotel and I will be back each month to this hotel. It's not the closest to our warehouse building nor is it a perfect hotel as renovation is under way. This place is almost identical to the Joliet I-80 location. Same layout, same number of floors and same rubber duckies waiting for you on the bed. I'm going to be lazy and say see my Joliet I-80 review and then add the fact that the decor feels a little newer and the location is better since there is a mall and other shopping really close by plus a ton of places to eat. My family and friends stayed the night here to enjoy their pool, hot tub and awesome breakfast. When we arrived about 6pm Friday night we were greeting by the warm staff. They were so welcoming! We played in the pool, sat in the hot tub and went back to the room were the bathrooms were stocked and clean! The staff on the morning crew was just as friendly as the night crew! The breakfast the next morning was amazing! We had so many breakfast choices from fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas, oranges, yogurt, oatmeal, omelets, sausage, waffles, English muffins, cereal, donuts and bagels to coffee, tea and juice! We will certainly be back when we need another "staycation"! Thank you Julie Turner for making us feel so welcome. read more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel over Christmas and have stayed there before. The hotel is not clean at all. Found a used condom wrapper next to the coffee area in the room. We would NOT recommend this hotel at all. There are new hotels in the area that we were not aware of. We'll be staying there next time. read more

Great place to stay!!! They are remodeling the exterior and I was nervous at first about the noise, but there wasn't any. Ashley checked us in and was so helpful. The room was amazing and so clean. The hot tub and pool was very nice. Very close to I-55, but we didn't hear any traffic. The free breakfast buffet was good!! read more

Clean, comfortable, good value for money. I was originally placed on the first floor and the desk staff took the trouble to put me in a room on the third floor instead. The next day I had to scan and email some papers and the clerk, Ana, kindly scanned them in the office and emailed them to me so I could send them on to the recipients. A hotel filled with such a wonderful staff. The lady who tends to the breakfast buffet is one of the hardest working women I've ever seen and the front desk staff could not be more accommodating or friendly. When I left clothes in the room after checkout they overnighted me a package to my home with nothing in return. Stayed one night it was clean and seemed like it was well maintained. Didnt notice anything too bad but the only down side is its right next to i-55 so u can hear all the traffic. You're right infront of a mall that has a theatre so thats a huge plus with lots of restaurants around. Military members can get a good rate! I would stay here again read more

Be leery of this establishment. My best friend found out that her rat of a husband has been seeing "escorts" here for the past year. He found these girls in the Back page ads and this, among other Joliet hotels is where they set up shop and have their clients meet them. read more

Kudos to the staff at Hampton Inn in Joliet. We arranged to have around 15 families stay there for our daughter's wedding. The staff was very helpful in setting up the event. Unfortunately, the wedding was cancelled under emotional circumstances and we had to scrap all our plans. The staff was very understanding and even went out of their way to let us know when a couple of rooms had not been cancelled so we didn't have to loose any money. If I'm ever in Joliet, I will definately use this hotel! read more

I was in town for a week to conduct genealogy research. The room was fantastic, clean, quiet, and all the amenities in the room were so convenient. The Wi-Fi was as fast as I needed it to be and best of all the room was dark art night no annoying lights or shears to let the sun in at sunrise. I would stay here again. read more
