Horrible Hotel Stay! The hotel needed to be closed for renovation! The renovation workers were banging, drilling and talking loudly at 6 am every morning, even on Thanksgiving! The rooms were filthy and disgusting! Very unsanitary! I did not get the Hilton Honors Member treatment. The price I paid for this hotel stay did not match the experience! A homeless shelter is much cleaner than this hotel! I became sick staying in this hotel! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!! Shame on you Hilton!!!

My wife and I had a brief but wonderful stay. We were in sudden need for lodging late one night when I couldn't get back into my father's subdivision. I went to this Hampton Inn for a room because it was the closest Hilton property. Tori was absolutely wonderful in getting us set up with a room very quickly at 1am, and made sure that we had everything we needed for the night since we didn't have our luggage. The foyer smelled like candy, and our room smelled very pleasant and clean. There wasn't really any noise, and even the room heater wasn't too loud. I always hate the pillows at Hampton Inn's, but these were actually pretty good. Shower had good pressure, and I loved the rubber ducky in the bathroom! When we checked out at 6:15am Tori was still on duty. She asked about my well being after such a short night. It was nice that she remembered us, and that she cared enough to check in as we were checking out. I am a diamond member, so I stay at a lot of Hilton properties. This is one of the best experiences that I have had. I don't leave a ton of reviews, but this business deserves a special mention.

A table rolls out so we could end are fancy Wendy's. Carry in. Lol

We walked in not expecting to get a Hotel tonight and Gabby was very pleasant. She hooked us up with a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb and water. Very nice! Rooms were all taped up showing they were clean really good. Thank you for your help.

Selfie-mode at the Hampton Inn Joliet!

You know how the people make the places...well from our check In by one of the friendliest, most cheerful young ladies ever, I knew this was going to be a great stay. The level of professionalism and genuine welcome was outstanding. As we stood there, I noticed the other young lady had the same level of cheer and customer service. Our room was a king with a pull-out sofa for our son. He needed an extra blanket and they took care of that immediately. Room was cool and comfortable. We got a great night's sleep, and the next Morning as we were leaving, I was greeted by Amit!!! Talk about the cream on top. He made sure our stay was pleasant and even grabbed us snacks and a smoothie after breakfast hours. Who does that?! Amit that's who. In this age of crappy customer service and a shortage of kindness, the Hampton Inn in Joliet off of Mall Loop is a breath of fresh air. We would stay here in a heartbeat! Thanks, Amit and those sunrise smoothies were amazing!

I loved their complimentary breakfast so much. Their facilities were very clean and neat. I can't wait to come back for their Jacuzzi room

The company I work with hosted an event here and it was a great experience. The venue was lovely…read moreoverall and offered a very positive experience. Here are a few staff members I'd like to highlight that were absolute champs during our event. Anthony - this man was everywhere!!! From responding to urgent text messages asking for HVAC adjustments, to vacuuming the floor himself, to placing salad plates on the tables. Anthony was a huge help and consistently professional and reliable during our 2 days. It was a great pleasure to work with him. Karina - she was part of the serving/kitchen staff. Apologies for not remembering her title, but she was wonderful. It was evident that she took pride in her work and in getting things right. She was always on the move making appropriate adjustments and was always open and happy to take questions and/or requests with professionalism and grace. 2 Small negative comments 1. Conference room cleanliness - the conference floor/carpet needed to be vacuumed. NOTE: there was an event right before ours, but the made a bit of a mess on the floor and it looked a little unkept. Anthony himself did a lot of vacuuming for us to help clean up the main room. 2. HVAC - in the smaller meeting rooms, the HVAC was really loud and difficult to hear speakers over the noise. It also seemed difficult to get the air to those rooms turned off so the noise would stop during the speaker's time. Anthony did try multiple times to help in this area. The hotel stay was also pleasant - the room was clean and up-to-date. The gym was HUGE and had great equipment - weights and cardio machines facing the beautiful scenery outside. The outside of the hotel was also beautiful - a little pond and gas fire pit that's turned on in the evenings. The hotel restaurant was also wonderful - great food! And since our event used the in-house food, the food provided for our event was similar quality to what was served in the hotel restaurant. It was delicious! Stayed at Best Western Joliet Inn & Suites recently and overall I'd say it's a decent budget stay…read moreif you're not expecting luxury. The lobby is actually pretty cozy when you walk in and they have a separate breakfast room with a daily menu posted for guests. I personally didn't try the breakfast during my stay, but it was a nice touch. They also have a pool, laundry machines available ($2 each, quarter style), products available for purchase in the laundry area, a snack/drink machine, and an ice maker. No fitness center though, so keep that in mind if that matters to you. There is also a $100 deposit required. One thing I do think people should know beforehand: the hotel uses well water. Some people may not care, but I definitely noticed it, especially in the shower and sink water. If you're a Diamond Select Rewards member they give you complimentary bottled water, which I appreciated. Staff was pleasant enough -- no issues, but nothing super memorable either lol. One thing I did find odd was the strict "no outside guests" rule. Parking is in the back and there's PLENTY of it, which was nice. My room itself was clean and the furniture wasn't in bad shape at all. Room came with a microwave, refrigerator, work desk, and a decent-sized 55" TV. Now for the downsides: the walls are EXTREMELY thin and there's a huge gap under the room doors, so you hear EVERYTHING. If you're a light sleeper, I honestly would not recommend staying here because it was busy and noisy even during the week. The bathtub is also very small, definitely not ideal if you enjoy soaking, and the shower curtain looked like it had seen better days. The towels were also pretty small and cheap feeling. Overall though, if you're in town on a budget, don't plan on spending a ton of time in the room, and just need somewhere convenient to stay, it gets the job done. Plus it's not far from the casino and several food spots.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at Best Western, 4380 Enterprise Dr., Joliet,…read moredeserves one. I stayed 4 nights (close to $600) and had to extend my room for one more night due to an evening flight. I rebooked online and was hit with an unexpected $30 charge. When I asked for an explanation, the manager, Roy Patel, could not provide any written policy to justify the fee. I don't mind paying for good service, but this felt like unnecessary penny-pinching. Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. For a brand that prides itself on hospitality, this was disappointing. Our company books hotels regularly for multiple road crews and spends thousands weekly. After this experience, we'll be taking our business elsewhere and advising our network to do the same. Transparency and customer service matter--sadly, this location failed on both.

That said, the management could use a little more flexibility when it comes to guest service. Check-out is at 11AM, and when we asked for a late check-out, they gave us until 11:30. Really? Thirty extra minutes? We weren't asking for the moon--just a couple extra hours to get on the road. Not sure why the strict policy, especially considering the place isn't exactly packed to capacity. All in all, not a bad stay--but the hospitality could definitely use a more human touch.

Now the second room was better stain wise, some small stains here and there on the actual bed, but the blankets and sheets were clean, but then, my mom noticed something when we were heading off to bed, an insect. She says it's a roach, I personally didn't know whether or not it was a roach, because it was quite small. This hotel gets one star due to the horrible rooms, AND the loud slamming doors and talking through the night. Upstairs smells of marijuana, which management can't but also can control their guests and correcting them. On a better note, the pool was of size and clean. The pool was the only decent thing of this hotel.
