After a week it was still not resolved so I called back and was told that the assistant manager would take care of it. After a few more weeks it was still unresolved and no one had contacted me with an update. I emailed the General Manager, Zaki Basalath, on August 19th and still have not heard back from anyone.

The fire alarm never went off, which is an extremely serious safety issue. I had my dog with me, and if I hadn't returned to the room quickly, things could have gone very badly. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk. They moved me to another room, but when I asked for reasonable compensation (like waiving the pet fee), the manager flat-out refused. No apology, no concern, no acknowledgment of the danger or inconvenience. Just "your compensation is a new room." A hotel with non-functioning fire alarms and faulty heating equipment should not be dismissing a situation like this. Their response showed zero accountability and zero concern for guest safety. I will not be staying here again, and I strongly recommend that management address their fire safety systems before someone gets seriously hurt.

We pulled up nearby hotels and decided on this one. Check in was super easy. The desk person was very nice and they had coffee and hot water set up if you'd like a cup along with apples to snack on. There is a mini store in the lobby with food, alcohol, essentials etc which is nice do you don't have to run out if you dont want to. We checked into a king bedroom suite and it was so much nicer than we expected for the price. It was super clean and so spacious. It included a kitchenette with dishes and a dishwasher. I could see how you would be comfortable here if you had to stay a long period of time. I wandered to the gym to work out the "all day road trip" kinks. There is a water station right outside of it and it's a pretty well stocked gym complete with exercise balls, free weights, kettle bells, yoga mats, and more. I looked in at the indoor pool and was really sad to not have a swimsuit. It was very clean and looked very inviting. Breakfast is included in the morning with an offering of breakfast sandwiches, omelets, waffles, various yogurts and bread assortments and juice. Our checkout was just as easy as checking in and we were on our way. We would 100% stay here again.

This location was less convenient for us than another hotel we stayed in during the moving process, though there are various stores and restaurants nearby. We had a disabled accessible room so it was one large space with a king bed, and this was actually more functional than the suite rooms we stayed in (also ADA accessible) elsewhere. The room "divider" was a hospital-room-style curtain that pulled out next to the bed. Elevators were the least sensory friendly I have ever encountered, with loud, high pitched dings (not fun for the cats). We utilized the pool while visiting, but parents should need the rule that unattended children cannot be there by themselves -- some kids came racing to the door (needs to be opened with key card) and banging on it so we would let them in (hell no! We are not going to be responsible for someone else's children. Finally as we were leaving they returned with their parents). Janitor also needed to clean in here as there was blood on the edge of the pool -- not sanitary. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. I will say that despite signage in the elevator talking about "crafting your ultimate breakfast sandwich," the offering was premade Jimmy Dean type stuff. A lot of noise in the halls and lobby at this hotel. Ultimately, we did opt to stay elsewhere the next time.

Check out day comes and a forced charge of $540 was put through on my card leaving me with a negative balance of $540. The $1420 transaction is still pending, and my card is f'd up! There is no charge of $741 anywhere! To add salt to the wound, no apology has been given, no compensation, nothing. Unfortunately, as I was leaving one afternoon, the manager was apologizing to a customer that did not look like me for something that had taken place and was offering rewards points for their inconvenience. Parking at their garage is complimentary and there was usually a spot open in the parking area in front of the hotel. Close to the downtown Naperville/West suburbs and about 50 minutes to Fulton market which worked for our trip. Service was friendly and engaged-Kelly helped with making our room change as smooth as possible given they were sold out of our original room type. They also have a car service for rides 10-15 minutes from the Hotel. Overall, solid option for a stay in the West Suburbs.
