Wasn't sure what to expect when I got here but I was pleasantly surprised. The place is clean. Much much cleaner than other locations I have been to the rooms are spacious. We rented the 2 queen room set up. Below are what I liked and what I didn't like. Liked 1) cleanliness 2) staff politeness and professionalism 3) size of rooms 4) quick elevator 5) pool. Not big . But just enough to enjoy 6) they have coffee available all day 7) free laundry 8) snack section where you can buy things 9) pet friendly 10) digital key card for rooms Dislikes 1) door to the bathroom is a sliding door that is shared with the closet. No sense of privacy in the bathroom as often times the door slides open on itself. The door can also be removed accidentally off the hinges which can be a danger for kids 2) limited parking. It's easy to come and not have a space. 3) the breakfast was mediocre. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs and the sausage was not to my luring or my wife's. 4) little to no good selection for children's breakfast. All cereal are jamp packed with sugar. Fruit loops and frosted flakes as well as rice crispies. 5) key card issues. My card had to be reactivated twice. Once on the day we arrived. And again on day of departure. 6) Hot Water issues. Kept jumping out the shower because the water runs cold without warning. Despite the things I didnt like, I truly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to others.

I was told that before I made my stay here this hotel was brand spanking new at the start of the pandemic. It somewhat looks like that is the case as most things in here look brand new, but some things look as if they have been misused since no one was staying here. I will get into that more later on down the road. Checking in and any dealings with the front desk were smooth. The employees were attentive when dealing with you and nice enough to give you the basic information you needed to get to where you need be. The rest of the staff, maybe could use some work. A lot of them are not approachable. They were nearly absent from what I could see. I say this because there were things that could have been taken care of rather quickly, but were completed in a swift manner without care. One thing that sticks out were the trash receptacles in the hallways. Even though it looked as if they were recycling, all bags were of the same color, so I doubt they were recycling. As far as the room. It looked well put together. But over time I did find a few things that could have used a little attention. The bed was comfortable, and where I spent most of my time when I was in my room. I appreciate that there was a seating area, I ended up using that as a staging area for my items. The area where you can put your clothing/suitcase is kind of a nook that is hidden behind the barn door that is the bathroom door. Remote was in a plastic bag to show cleaning, and I enjoyed the use of the tv, even if I used it for background noise. The bathroom was pretty good. What I enjoyed most about the bathroom was the shower. Finally a place that gets putting the shower knob at the back of the shower. What I didn't enjoy of the bathroom is the barn door. I closed it once and it nearly came off the track. The elevators run slow. There is a huge area for pool and work out. What I did enjoy and used here was the outside patio area. It was nice to sit out there and just take in the air. The hotel is situated on the main stretch of road in the area, but the patio area is situated behind the building and far enough the road that you don't hear too much noise. There is a wetland of sorts out back that you hear the natural noises. Ducks and geese are flying in and out at a constant. Breakfast is served every morning. Lots of parking. Wifi service was solid. TV channels are basic. Information for nearby attractions available. Gym/pool. Pretty good stay.

Hilton corporate did make this right, still would recommend avoiding this property if you have the choice.

They're even more spacious than they seem in the photos. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I guess it's old Victorian decor. They have flat screens in all the rooms and just huge comfy beds. Awesome fluffy pillows and everything you could want in a place. It's worth the extra couple of dollars to not have to stay at the travel dump. It's within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants, Lebanon Valley College, a small movie theater and the Annville library (a favorite place for me as a kid). It's a few miles outside of Hershey and I'd highly recommend it as a place to stay if you're looking to come into the area for whatever reason. Amber, the innkeeper was fabulous. She took great care of us and anticipated our needs. She set out umbrellas for us to use when the weather seemed rainy and answered all of our questions. Great conversation, lovely garden in the back with a koi pond. The breakfast was solid. I took some pictures, check em out. There was also a baked grapefruit, something I never had but was really impressed with. And don't sleep on the banana nut muffin. It looks like it's out of a boxed recipe but that was easily one of the top 5 muffins I've had my whole life. My wife loved the place so much that I can guarantee we'll be back all the way from California. :)

The house is absolutely gorgeous, the environment is very comfortable, and extremely clean. Amber the Inn Keeper is friendly and treats you like family, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend!!!!! Pros: Beautiful house and atmosphere, wonderful accommodations, comfortable, delicious food. Cons: B&B sits on Main Street so traffic can sometimes be noisy, although this isn't the Inns fault, this house has been here since the late 1800's. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone.

It was the worst hotel we ever been to. Our door to our room was a safety hazard (would not close easily and when you tried to enter the room you had to pretty much body slam the door to get it open). God forbid there is a fire you would never get out. The owner was drinking and very confrontational and used nasty language to my husband. He told us we were not following policy because my husband did not have his shirt on outside in the back of the hotel, so my husband went in and put a shirt on and complied to his demand that we were not following policy so we asked for a copy of the policies and he got confrontational and said they don't have a list and said we were to leave the hotel. It may be the only hotel in Myerstown, Pa but I would recommend going somewhere else.

When I entered the room their was giant cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and gaint stains on the floor. We asked for another room, and it was the same as the first. This reminder me of a horror show. The place smell like a combination of fish, mildew, cigerates. What topped it off for me was the toliet had black stains on it, and it was disgusting. The next morning we supposed to get a contential breakfast( if that what you would call it). The breakfast was as horrible as the place they had bread, some fruit, cereal, and package mini pastries. They did have orange juice but it was frozen. Their was a waffle machine and a batter machine, but it didn't work. I was so glad to get out of the Rodeway Inn. I will absolutely not be returning to this place ever; unless you want a horror show experience.

During COVID, we liked that our room had its own exterior door & that we could eat breakfast in our room. Our room was beautiful & decorated in floral lavender. The bed was comfortable & the fireplace made it very cozy during a very cold & snowy weekend. The inn & grounds were also gorgeous & well kept. We would like to be able to explore more of the inn's common areas when we return post COVID. We LOVED the breakfast. It was unique and absolutely delicious! The blueberry breakfast cake is something you should not miss! We also took advantage of the couple's massage at the in-house spa. It was professional, relaxing, & exceptionally well done. Karen & her family are friendly inn keepers & we look forward to our next getaway with them!

The one we booked apparently had "maintenance issues", so we were placed in another room that we really weren't happy with. While it was functionally fine, it looked like it was straight out of a Golden Girls episode, and really wasn't what we wanted at all. We checked the refrigerator in the room and discovered that the previous occupant's leftovers were still there. There was also a dirty sock under the bed. Not even way under, I just bent down and saw it. It was also $25 cheaper than the room we booked, but we weren't refunded the difference. We really should've been informed beforehand that the room we booked wasn't available so we could make other plans. At the very least, we should've been refunded the difference between the room we booked and the one we ended up with. On to breakfast.... Unfortunately, it was nothing memorable. Fruit, a small cup of eggs and ham that my husband said tasted odd. French toast that was doused in sugary strawberry syrup. After we left we got breakfast at a diner nearby, which we DID enjoy. So overall, not a great experience. I think we would have enjoyed our stay a whole lot more if we'd actually been able to stay in the room we booked, but as it stands now, we probably won't be going back to the Berry Patch.
