    Horrible experience!!!!
    Nikiya M.

Here it goes, there should be a way to rate a hotel 0 stars because 1 star is too many for this hotel! But since I have to give a star then 1 star would suffice just due to the fact that the staff is friendly and the 24 hour coffee in the lobby stayed hot and fresh! I checked in late Saturday early Sunday morning because originally I was not getting a room, I was going to go home; but i ended up checking in, and I was given room 211. Around 5:30am i was awakened out of my sleep, due to feeling like my arms were on fire and itching like crazy! I turned the light on and looked at my arms and noticed they were red, swollen, and had bumps on them. So I jumped out the bed, threw the sheet back and low and behold there was a bug crawling around fast. I grabbed my phone and recorded it. I got dressed quickly and went to check out, showed the front desk the video I had of the bed bug crawling around aimlessly on the bed, and then I showed her my arms which were swollen and red, she was very apologetic, provided me a refund, and apologized some more! What I realize is the hotels cannot tell at times I guess when a person might bring something in with them. It is quite possible that housekeeping won't even notice while cleaning since they have a strict timeline for how long they have to get a room ready, but NO ONE should leave a hotel swollen and bitten! I had to purchase cortisone and benadryl in order to help alleviate these symptoms! I have never been bitten by a bed bug, never even saw one...but now I've been bitten by one and I am suffering for it. No matter what hotel you stay at, check the beds, check the sheets, bring lysol, protect yourself!!!!

    Mildew and mold

Very ok. Luckily I only needed to stay here one night but the top comforter which was supposed to be white was covered in stains and looked gross. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Mold and mildew everywhere. Would never stay here again

Hairs on the toilet.... not mine!

Second stay at this property, probably last. The staff was okay at check in, not overly friendly. What made this stay horrendous was the cleanliness of the room. The coffee carafe was cleaned with a pine cleaner, the only clean item in the room but it rendered it useless. As the night went on I noticed more and more areas of disgustingness. Hairs on the toilet, funk in the shower, a child's handprint on the window, dirty floors. It appears that this room may have been dusted and vacuumed, that's it. Definitely one of the most unclean rooms I've ever stayed in, not typical of a Hampton Inn

Our room was very generously sized and the kitchenette provided an impressive amount of counter space. I was very appreciative that we were allowed to bring our dogs, it turns out that Residence Inns are pet friendly! There is TONS of parking including pretty close to the side doors. Check in was seamless, there was no line and it took about 2 seconds. Part of that was because the person didn't provide us with any info whatsoever regarding the hotel or the breakfast or any amenities. Contrary to another review I am seeing here, there was no traffic noise and there is no "major highway" nearby. There is a street adjacent to the hotel but I didn't notice a lot of traffic. We could barely hear anything from our room. The bed was soft and comfortable. The shower was spacious with a moderate amount of water pressure. There was tons of space and countertops for me to put my gazillion toiletries. There are also two restaurants within very minimal walking distance as well as a dunkin donuts. Wawa is a short drive away and you can be certain I made myself very well acquainted with the staff here in just a few short days. The 2 stars is because on our last night (thank god it was the last night) I was returning from my last pee before bed when I noticed a baby cockroach crawling on our bed, its little likely disgusting feet caressing the sheets that would proceed to place near my face. Needless to say I killed it and promptly flushed it down the toilet but was horrified by that experience and spent the rest of the night wondering how many others were hiding.

I am writing this review to not only have their money but perhaps their lives from filth. When we arrived the owner seemed Pleasant at first and brought us to our room. After he left I noticed some weird stains on the blanket covers when I pulled down the blanket there were stains all over the sheets. He came into the room and said he didn't see the stain on the sheets but he would take my word for it. Maybe he's half blind. I have no idea. He brought us to another room which seemed better but we didn't check it out because we were going out to dinner. When we got back we pulled down the sheets to not only find more stains but crumbs and the refrigerator had half-eaten food from the people who had the room the day before. I called another hotel at midnight, left there, and paid $200 to find a decent place to sleep. So I'm out $200 plus the money that I spent for that hotel. That should give you an idea of how horrible it is. No one leaves a hotel and spends $200 at midnight looking for a new place to sleep unless it's a god-awful hole. On top of that, he is a rude mean horrible prick. I tried getting a refund and he told me I was making things up to get my money back which makes no sense because it was midnight and we had already checked in. I hope this place closes soon I hope his family and this man suffer a horrible fate and go broke because no one will book a room in this s*******. The hotel is for sale so that gives you an idea of why he's even less interested in taking care of paying customers. People need to leave bad reviews to help put them out of business before they sell it for a profit and help not put food on their table. I should have taken pictures of the many stains on the sheets, the crumbs in the bed, and the half-eaten food in the refrigerator, but was too grossed out. My son and I just needed to get out of there. My son and I were completely horrified. Please take heed and RUN for your life!!!!
