So far, this hotel has been a great place to stay for a quick trip to "the cities". It isn't in Minneapolis or St. Paul, but both are a quick shot on the interstate away. Also, even though the interstate is pretty much right out the window, we haven't been able to hear it at all. The hotel is clean, bed is comfy, rooms are nice with the TV, microwave, fridge, and free internet*. The people at the front desk were polite and helpful. The pool, hot tub, and workout room are all kept clean and were a nice break at the end of the day. The towels at the pool appear very tiny, but are actually fairly normally sized. Actually, the towels are really the only thing I can find to complain about. They're kind of thin and scratchy, but they get the job done. :-) All-in-all, we'd stay here again. *A note on the free internet: Speedtest.net reports it's a 20mbps down, 6mbps up connection. Definitely quick. Note: I didn't mention the free breakfast because I haven'.t really experienced it. We were going to go once, but it was pretty darn busy. We went to one of the nearby restaurants instead, which worked out very nicely.

The nightmare started at check-in. I always use the pre-check-in feature to get my mobile key and head straight to my room. When I arrived, the manager on duty actually tried to argue with me, claiming that using the mobile key process was "illegal." After that absurd power trip, they made me wait forever for a room. Despite my request for a high floor near the elevator, they stuck me on the first floor. Then came the key fiasco. The physical key didn't work. The mobile key didn't work. I hiked back to the desk, the manager made a new key, and--shocker--that one didn't work either. His excuse? He told me the mobile key takes "10 minutes" to activate. I stay at Marriotts constantly; that is a blatant lie and a pathetic attempt to cover for their broken system. The property itself is a total letdown. It looks drab and dated for a relatively new hotel, and they don't even offer EV chargers. I usually choose this brand for the consistent quality, but this specific location is absolute garbage. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

Lots of options for casual sit-down or grab-and-go meals. And if I need groceries, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are close by too. Plenty of parking spaces in the shared lot with the Residence Inn. Rooms are clean and spacious with a couch and desk if you want to get some work done in your room.

I was a bit put off by a large group of very loud men watching the football playoffs in the lobby. Good game, I'm sure, but they were very loud and shouting expletives. My room was nice, but I was surprised to see how wrinkled all of the bedding was. There was also debris on the floor. The bathroom was fully stocked and had cutely folded towels. My window faced the freeway, which was moderately noisy, but the high quality draperies helped block some of that out. The shower was clean and had great water pressure. The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable and the pillows were all different sizes and not comfortable whatsoever. The room had a Keurig, refrigerator, microwave, and a nice selection of coffee and tea. It was quiet during my stay, with the exception of checking in. I did not utilize any of the amenities. I'd stay here again but would probably ask for additional/different pillows next time.

We travel 6 months out of the year touring so we have stayed in many hotels over the years and this is at the top of the list of memorable hotels! Starting off I called ahead because one of our friends was going to be arriving earlier than us and I wanted them to be able to settle in before we got there. The manager took care to accommodate this request which was very much appreciated. The location was great for us being less than 30 minutes from the venue that night in Minneapolis. Parking was ample and felt very safe. The hotel itself feels very luxurious, modern yet still comfortable. The perfectly soft beds were a welcome reprieve for us after we arrived late after a show that night. We loved the way the room was set up with a separate living room and bedroom area. The hotel has many amenities such as a fully equipped workout room, a pool and hot tub, pantry with snacks (amazing when you don't want to leave the hotel for a bite), and a great large breakfast! You could spend a week here and not feel bored or cramped into a tiny hotel. We loved staying here and would love to come back when in the Minneapolis area! #SponsoredPromo #CambriaHotel #ChoiceHotels #MapleGrove #Minneapolis #HotelStory #Entertainer #TravelIgnite #IgniteHospitalityServices

Upon check-in, my card was charged for May 1-4th, as that was the original reservation. Upon arriving in room, found bed linens threadbare, towels threadbare, wet spot on floor of room between beds, and pillows so old/thin that they had to be doubled to make a decent height, leaving one with a 12 x 12" square pillow. I had to ask for more towels and toilet paper. Asked for room cleaning, never got it....only soap was replaced (which I didn't need). Breakfast was a joke - very little dry/stale food, constantly ran out of food, plates, plastic ware. When I asked the desk clerk to replenish the plates/plasticware, she was rude and took a good 15 min to do so. I had a need to check out on May 3rd, one day early. Upon check-out, clerk gave me a receipt that indicated I would receive a credit for the one day I paid that I would not be staying. Never received the credit on my card. Multiple emails were unanswered. After multiple calls, finally had a very rude and surly clerk named Jessica refused to process a credit. First she stated I would lose the 20% member discount on the 2 nights stayed. When I pointed out my credit was more than that amount, I'd like the difference, she then changed her story to "I didn't give them 48 hours notice". Next time I have an emergent event, I guess I'll have to plan it?? Definately a poor property, not work the prices charged. STAY AWAY! There are many other properties to book that are much better.

The breakfast was reasonably robust for covid-times but evening social hours had been cancelled. The biggest hang up I had about Staybridge is how outdated it felt. It seems as though the hotel rooms had not been renovated since the late 90s or early 2000s. Finally, even though the room was generally clean, I wiped down the air vents, and the cloths were quite dirty. Aspects of this stay were not great, it overall it was a satisfactory stay.

I had a garage fire just over a month ago, and my ALE (Renter's insurance) booked my stay at this hotel. Apon getting settled, I noticed there was water on the lower shelf. No biggie, I wiped it clean . Well, I ordered a pizza, and the next morning, it was drenched . I notified a maintenance guy about it a day goes by and nothing. 2 or 3 days later talked to Mike or someone at the front desk, and still nothing. So, eventually, I ran into Jenni (housekeeper) and she went directly and talked to management about the refrigerator and I also started getting annoyed of the toilet that makes a screeching noise until the tank is full. Nothing happened until I finally got annoyed enough to contact ALE solutions. I get a phone call back from the hotel, and they went on to say they had no records of myself making any such complaint(s), but they'll get on it.. oh, they did, too. I came back, and the toilet was fixed, and a new refrigerator was there. Now while I should of been satisfied I was so annoyed that I didn't say crap and basically called me a liar. Hell i didn't complain that the room I checked into was pretty dirty as far as the carpet went (looks like that room hasn't been used in a month). Then at one point, maintenance was in the middle of swapping locks from card to card tap sensors, and my door shut properly 60 percent of the time. So finally, I go and ask about getting checked into another room on Sunday and they turned me down. I basically was about to make a call to make other arrangements to go somewhere else, and I get a knock on my door that they'll move me . Okay, sweet. So I moved into this new room and while stuffy I was pretty happy. Well, then I get notified that I had to leave earlier and make other arrangements for another hotel while I was at work . A bit perplexed, I went to the hotel that night, and "Andrew" pulled up my account, and there were no notes, and my stay was approved until the 25th. So this morning, I get another call from "ALE" explaining that I need to be out by the 13th as the room is booked. Hey how about give that room 147 to those people since at least it was okay for me to put up with a dirty floor the first week (I didn't even complain about to you guys about, loud people that stayed up all night doing a boot dance of some sort for 2 weeks. Naw, the only thing of my initial gripe was water dumping all over my freaking food, and eventually, the toilet became ridiculously annoying. Hell I didn't complain about the construction workers using the two rooms and I( also agree with how he has had to do the renovations is the most bizarre way which becomes annoying for guests and difficult for contractors to get work done efficiently). Kim and Desiree didn't bother even trying to make any other arrangements nor seem concerned of the fact of any of the bs that I put up with what so ever. I'll never stay here, and I'll be sure to let others know of 2 weeks of bs I got to deal with. Don't worry, Kim and Desiree. I got plenty of pictures and videos to share with anyone who wants to know what a great 3 star hotel with such a caring accommoding management team you really are. Andrew cool , Anthony cool , Jenni exceptional cool! Decent breakfast though I get up for work at 4:30 so mainly took part of that on the weekends. Otherwise screw this place.

I travel ALOT for work and stay in extended stay hotels across several brands more than 300 days a year. This location has been horrible. The breakfast offerings are on the level of continental breakfast status. The brand used to offer full breakfast options. Not so much anymore. Everything comes from individually wrapped options that can be seen in a vending machine. This location does not even have a waffle maker. The eggs never seem to be fresh, even if they are powdered. The towel quality at this location is motel status as well as the cleaning. I had to clean the rust stains and floor of the shower before I was able to take a shower. Let's get into the staff. 1st issue - I called the front desk to request weekly cleaning. It was in the evening and the young lady said I will put you down for the future date I requested. The day the cleaning was supposed to happen, the room is not cleaned. Remember, I am here working so I am gone during business hours. So, I contact the front desk, they have no record of me requesting weekly cleaning. Fine can I get on the schedule? And can you bring a set of sheets and towels, and I will do it myself for this week? Sure. I proceed to remove the sheets thinking I would be getting a replacement set. 2 hours later still nothing. I finally go down to the front desk, of course it is not the person I made the request to 2 hours before, so this person has no idea I made the request. They go and get my replacement sheets and towels and the night proceeds. 2nd issue - The dishwasher had a minor overflow in the kitchenette, I cleaned it up and requested maintenance to repair the issue. They came when I was not in the room and did something. I use the dishwasher again and there is water in the bottom of the dishwasher, I request maintenance again and remained in the room while waiting for the repair. Two gentlemen arrive and put a bottle of something and start the dishwasher. They request I throw the bottle away after the cycle completes. One of the men tell me to consider washing the dishes by hand. I asked him why that would be necessary since there is a whole dishwasher in the room that should be repaired. He chuckled and left. Before the cycle can complete, water is pouring out everywhere onto the floor. I call down to the front desk to let them know that there is water everywhere and the lady that answered proceeded to question if I was requesting a repair. I explained that I did not know what needed to be done for the machine, however there is water everywhere. She put me on hold, when she came back, she said she would note the file for a repair. I proceeded downstairs to get more towels to clean up the water. I not so calmly explain to the front desk that water was everywhere. Since you are not going to send anyone up to correct this issue, please give me some towels to help soak up the water. I explain that I did not need a repair at that moment, I just needed assistance getting water up so that my stuff would not get wet, nor would they have an incident with the room next to me or below me. That was still not enough towels. Still no staff came to the room to assist. I went back down to the front desk and loudly request additional towels and that I really needed assistance with getting the water up. The dishwasher had been stopped but there was water still pouring out. Finally, she requested the initial maintenance person to follow me back to the room. However, he did not have a clue what to do. Finally, the maintenance manager came and made the correct repair. Fortunately, nothing personal was damaged. I cannot say for the flooring under the sink or cabinets. Nothing is smelling and I kicked the kick plate, and it has not crumbled. 3RD Issue - Currently the hotel is booked up for months due to a catastrophe in the area. The public areas are not cleaned regularly and trash is continuously overflowing. I work in a customer facing business, I cringe that this level of customer service seems acceptable. Especially in HOSPITALITY.
