Hampton Inns are my go-to when travelling in the US. I know they will have clean, comfortable rooms, and generally a pleasant experience. This hotel is the same. However, my check-in at Moss Point was totally unprofessional. I had reserved online, so presented my ID and credit card to the receptionist. She thoroughly scrutinized them, then asked me to verbally clarify a couple of points about my address. Then asked for my phone number! There was a gentleman hanging out at the desk that had been chatting with her when I arrived who stood by and listened to the whole exchange. It was upsetting. I am a solo female traveller. I hope they do some training with this young woman. read more

Oy. This property was rough and needs a lot of attention. My husband said "if this was our first Hampton Inn stay, I would never stay at a Hampton Inn again." It's really not a good reflection of the brand. First impression, had to wait more than 10 minutes to check in because there was no staff to be found. Once an attendant did show up there was no apology for our wait and she was on a call on her EarPods during our check-in. A few of us were waiting. The lobby had dirty walls, furniture and ceiling that was water damaged. Second impression, our bathroom floor was soaked from a leaky shower head. Room walls were disgusting with marks everywhere and wallpaper was ripped in many places. Furniture outdated and bed super uncomfortable (cheap and bouncy). Only saving grace was clean sheets. Lasting impression, three different groups waiting for the elevator for what seemed like forever in the hot hallway on the 4th floor because there was only one working elevator. People were riding it up just to ride it down because it was taking that long. Other couples noted how it was worse the other days. Recommendation: Do not stay here. It's not worth the money. The service, comfort, and cleanliness were all a miss. read more

1-Star Review - Extremely Disappointed with Our Stay My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Moss Point/Pascagoula, MS (6730 Highway 63 N) from October 9-12, 2025, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. When we arrived, the front desk lady was very kind, but the room was absolutely unacceptable -- dirty coffee cups left behind, rusted lamps, filthy lampshades, stained walls and curtains, and a musty odor throughout. The sheets even had what looked like dried blood, and the bathroom wall was falling apart and patched up. The coffee setup was placed in the bathroom, which is completely unsanitary. The breakfast area was just as disappointing -- missing ceiling lights, patched walls, and very limited food that was not restocked. When I spoke to the manager, Mr. Patel, he showed no concern and never offered the Hampton 100% Satisfaction Guarantee that Hilton promises. We were moved to another room, but it wasn't much better -- frozen water bottles left in the fridge and the same musty smell. This property is not up to Hilton standards and needs serious inspection or renovation. For the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable. We will never stay here again, and I plan to escalate this with Hilton Corporate for a refund or compensation. read more

Five stars for staff, because they were very attentive and helpful. The hotel itself needs a facelift but the room was clean and I slept well. The only complaint I have with ALL Hilton hotels is that the pillows are worthless. Breakfast was good and the breakfast area CLEAN! five stars for the that! The other nice thing about this hotel is that they are close to a Ruby Tuesday and it is good. The only difficult thing about this place is getting to it. Do not make a Uturn at the light. You need to go all the way in and take the frontage road. Busy traffic too. All in all, our quick nights stay was good. I would stay here again. read more

I loved it here! Lots of parking, super comfy bed, fluffy towels, full bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower-and they were great! There was also good smelling lotion in the bathroom and really nice employees. Also free breakfast, great location right off the freeway and plenty of parking. The only reason why it's missing a star is because the pool was filthy dirty and it couldn't be cleaned till the next day which we would already been checked out and my babies cried ugh but other than that , Everything was great , the bed was so comfortable and Ms Zasha was very friendly and accommodating plus she answered all my questions the room was clean and cold with a hot shower we over slept the 6am alarm and we would totally stay here again!! read more

Wonderful experience here. We got into a Kind bed suite which was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast in the morning has a lot to choose from and is good. Great location if you are wanting to go to cruisin the coast without being in all of the traffic constantly. I will be booking this hotel again in the future. read more

Very nice establishment. comfortable rooms. but unfortunately the place needs facelift on the inside .the walls look dingy and need to be repainted due bad spots everywhere and scuffs on the walls. Other than that which I can only give this place a four out of five. I would definitely recommend it over some of the other hotels around here. With this (a) being a Hampton Inn and (b) being in Moss Point I had pretty low expectations when I found out I had to stay here for a night passing through town on business. However those fears were quite unfounded as this turned out to be a great hotel stay at a mighty fine hotel, even if it doesn't have an exclusive zip code. Immediately upon walking into the hotel you are struck with the tremendously pleasing smell of cookies. This awakes the mythological Cookie Monster inside of you and just puts you into a good mood. As the Earth starts to shake around you, you notice nothing but the cookies. All of the glorious cookies. The smell permeates the lobby as you later need to peel yourself away from the lobby and actually go up to your room eventually. But the smell slowly fades out the further you get from the lobby and a little piece of your Cookie Monster dies inside - not an important part like the nose or the tongue, more like an appendix or possibly back hair. The woman at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful and just all around awesome. She got us quickly checked in, let us know where everything was, the info about breakfast and the fitness center, and then we were off to the rooms. She even gave a follow-up call a few minutes after I got into the room just to make sure that everything was fine. Everything was fine. They provided coffee for the coffeemaker, unlike certain Hiltons where you need to call back down to the desk because they forgot to replace the packages. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. This is damn fancy, at this point it is almost nicer than my apartment that I never get to see since I travel so much. I like this place chiefly for the free cookie the woman behind the desk let me have, And the wafting smells of other cookies to be had, COOKIE TIME But now that we have addressed the good let us discuss the bad. 1. Breakfast buffet - the oatmeal smelled like wet dog and tasted like it was prison-grade food. Just horrendous. Good thing it is a buffet to save the day with those "bagel topper" breakfast pizza kind of things they set out. Greasy as hell but edible and sometimes that matters. It is a free breakfast though, can only expect so much here. 2. The real reason why I struck a star from their rating is the soaps in the bathroom. Their soaps are the "suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked" in the parlance of Homer Simpson. The soap literally stuck to your body, both the face bar and the body bar were basically like getting coated in corn syrup and whatever else disgusting you might say. The shampoo left my hair waxy, like a prison-grade shampoo. However the severe low point was in the conditioner because it smelled so bad I literally thought I was chloroforming myself. It affected my chest and I got light headed like I had roofied myself, it was just a bad experience. If you stay here do not use the conditioner unless you want to chloroform yourself - that is about the only purpose of it besides chloroforming other people, which is mostly against the law I hear. If you stay here bring your own soaps and shampoos and whatever else - you do not want to use this unless you have served a nickel or two in the pen and this is your first night out in the free world, the soaps and shower experience will make you feel right at home there, sport. Had there been additional cookies upon checkout I might have given them back the star I struck for that awful shower experience. read more

I am often in Pascagoula / Moss Point Mississippi on business. When traveling there I prefer to stay at the Hampton Inn Moss Point. They have a great staff that does a great job keeping the hotel nice. It is the best value for the money and it is very conveniently located. The free breakfast is perfect and they make good coffee; which is very important. read more

Our family typically stays at Hampton Inns. No matter where you go, you can expect the same friendly staff. They are especially helpful with... A cup of milk for the little one just before bed. Delicious continental breakfast in the morning that varies each day. Yesterday day they served delicious egg, meat, cheese on a bagel slice. Today they had omelets. Also each day there are donuts, danish, cold/hot cereal, apple/cranberry/orange juices. read more

My HH account had a few points left, I cashed in and stayed at the Moss Point, MS Hampton Inn. I arrived after midnight and hit the deck immediately and slept like a baby. The Hampton Inn is an affordable alternative to HGI. The Hilton brand is reliable. My experience includes consistently CLEAN rooms, professional staff, TASTY breakfast, free parking, all in convenient locations. Hilton Garden Inn is my first choice when in need of over-nite accommodations. Hampton Inn provided a relaxing, comfortable stay...I'll add them to my list for future stays. read more

We stopped here on a road trip. The staff was nice and sweet to my little ones, Getting them crayons and coloring pages at breakfast. The room was smallish. We brought a packnplay for our baby to sleep in. When we put that up, there wasn't much room to walk at all. For us, we were just there to sleep, so it was fine. The room was clean except the floor. The carpet was literally sticky. Yuck. Made sure we kept our socks on. We like staying at places that offer a hot breakfast. This had a nice selection. I love the waffle machine and they had all the toppings including whipped cream. This day they had turkey sausage , potatoes and cheese omelettes . The egg was wierd texture to me. My husband made a breakfast sandwich out of it and liked it. Overall this place was fine for a road trip stay, but if we were staying longer we would need a bigger room than what we had to be comfortable. read more

This hotel has it all. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast bar is great. The people who work at this hotel are wonderful. On the way out, we met one of the owners who wanted feedback about his lovely hotel. We make treks to New Orleans and this is a great choice for the overnight stop. We will be back here. read more

We stayed here during the Summer when we were headed to Florida. This is a newer hotel and well worth paying a little more for a night's stay. The room was very clean and the shower/tub was really big. Other than that the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast is included and is excellent. We'd definitely stay here again. read more

This whole area smells of fish. This hotel has faulty AC units, either freezing or hot. Seems hotel is old with upgrades lacking. Slow drain, no Matt's on shower, smelly room etc. read more

This is a nice, very clean location. The bedding was really comfortable, soft, clean and we slept well. I wish the shower had better hot water. It wasn't terrible just not as hot as I would have liked. This was an alternate choice as all the hotels in Biloxi were full. We would stay here again. read more

Wife had to stop in Moss Point, MS during road trip. It was unexpected. Front desk was nice. Room appeared clean but obvious ceiling issues or possible patch work in bathroom. She mentioned they put all the coffee items and individual coffee maker in the bathroom, which she thought was disgusting. She thinks they should have put it near the microwave or anywhere else but the bathroom and cannot get it out of her head. So that's why the three stars. read more
