For a Hilton, it sucks…read more I'm an extended stayer so here's my experience after a 1 month stay Pros: -Comfy Bed -Large fridge -Not a bad Gym -Genuinely a Great front desk staff -The AC units work, honestly a little to well -Large selection of complementary breakfast Cons: (More of a timeline of events) -1st Room (301) reeked of chemicals so badly I had to change rooms due to the headache -2nd Room (208) wasn't serviced or cleaned for a week -Found potential bugs in my bed, and ants on my pillows, on the counters, and on the carpet -When the AC was off for to long the room stunk of mold and mildew -Kitchen sink loose and leaky -Shower water leaks into entry hallway -Looks like mold is growing on the bathroom walls due to no ceiling vent -Move to 3rd room (214) after getting bit by what I assume were bed bugs -Room 214 also reeked of heavy chemicals (now that I think about it, they probably oversprayed to kill bed bugs in the 2nd floor rooms) -4th room (308), no further major issues 'til end of stay -Toilet handle fell apart -Every bathroom toilet clogged up consistently, and randomly after coming home from work, needed the plunge my own bathroom roughly 5 times

The front desk, and wait staff, and housekeeping people were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel was fresh, new, modern and easy to check in and out with convenient parking. It's close to shopping, Interstate 10, Hwy 181 and directly across from Starbucks and Cracker Barrel, Olive Garden and California Dreaming a great place to eat. It's 10,000 times better than Best Western for about the same price. ( sadly I stayed there first)

It had restaurants close by, including a McDonald's literally next door and a Cracker Barrel, Logan's Roadhouse and a Jimmy John's across the street. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. They served a breakfast of eggs, sausage, waffles, etc., nothing fancy, but more than other places. Ultimately, I would recommend here.

They are also pet friendly and let our dog stay for $25 extra. When we entered to head to our room, the smell of marijuana hit me like a ton of bricks and I started getting a headache immediately. I am not exaggerating, it literally made my head hurt. We got into our room and the smell was a little better but still SO strong. We opened up the room and turned on the AC (in winter) to try to get the smell out. I always carry air freshener when we travel and tried that as well. The room looked fine (see photos) but it just wasn't cleaned well, which you can't really tell from pictures. The smell never went away and actually started getting worse later in the evening. I laid down because of my headache and luckily fell asleep so I didn't have to endure it anymore. It's ironic that they have a placard in the room about this. I added a photo of that too and because it's so close up, you get an idea of the cleanliness of the room as well. It got us through the night but it was not a comfortable stay and we left as soon as I showered in the morning. Based on other reviews, I don't think this was an isolated incident, it seems like this is common here so if it's not something you can deal with, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

I sprayed the hotel room down with Febreze which helped. After returning back from dinner I sprayed the room again. While laying in the bed I kept smelling a smelly dog around. My wife said she can smell it as well. It seems the last people that stayed in the room must have let their smelling dog sleep in the bed with them. We pulled off the blanket and only used the top sheet which helped but it was somewhat still in the sheets. The next morning my had flea bits on her. We told the front desk at checkout and she said "I'll make a note of it".... There was no sorry or concerns about it.... We also noticed at checkout about 4 couples on the same floor had dogs with them. So if they charge extra for pets which I think is like $75 where does that cost go? You would think they would strip the entire bed including blankets and comforters and wash them because pets were in the room. Also I would think they would spray for bugs so all is well for next guest. If the $75 extra for pets aren't being used productively then they should set aside designated rooms for families with pets so other guests don't have to deal with it. We love pets have two small dogs of our own but they don't travel with us in hotels. So for my review; the room was a 1 because of the smell and bug issue. The positive with this hotel; it's off the highway with easy in and out. It's close to restaurants and fast food places. The room was also quiet. They had nice small hot and cold breakfast items laid out in the morning. If you do stay here; request a non pet room and make sure sheets and blankets smell clean.

They genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, and that positive attitude creates a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. When I first checked in, I was greeted and welcomed by multiple staff members. I chose this hotel because it is pet-friendly, has a laundry room, and is equipped with a modern gym. But everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. First of all, the rooms are immaculate with new TVs that have a variety of channels, including HBO. I had a full-sized kitchen and enjoyed the handicapped-accessible room with a bathtub. The hotel is spotless and always being maintained by the staff. The grounds are also clean and inviting. The gym was perfect for helping me stay fit, and the laundry room made it easy to get a load of laundry done while I caught up on work. The wireless internet is also super fast, allowing me to stay connected with my work duties. It is the little conveniences like these that make an extended stay much more comfortable and stress-free. I enjoyed my stay there so much, and I was disappointed that I only had time to stay one night in this dreamy, lovely hotel. Even though it was hot and humid, we still enjoyed sitting for a spell in the rocking chairs that were outside our room on the wraparound porch. Our bed was so comfy, and the shower had good water pressure. Our room was beautiful, clean, and had a nice balcony. The staff were super-friendly and pleasant. Even though I didn't get to see the hotel's ghost, and we didn't experience any paranormal activity, we had a wonderful stay! I would definitely want to stay here again and stay longer.

Room access is straight from your car outside to the room door. You might park right in front of your room. I was placed in a handicap room (I didn't request this) perhaps because they were booked to capacity for Mardi Gras 2026. The small parking lot was completely filled at one point. I was on the bottom level facing the direction of parked cars, so bright headlights shined into the room. Minimum Community Amenities: They offer breakfast, but I didn't partake. I also didn't know what time they started and ended serving breakfast. There's a small pool onsite available when in season. Room Amenities: There's a coffee machine and cups placed on the bathroom counter. There's a hair dryer. There's liquid hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The SmartTV has limited cable channels and the Tubi and Netflix apps. The TV had issues where the picture would become distorted every few minutes. The phone was unplugged in my room. I had to plug it in to call the front desk and request new pillow cases and towels. There was hair on the bedding items. I had to make a case for my requested items since I was told room service had just "cleaned" the room. The window has two pull-down shades. But from the right angle, you can still see a sliver into the room on the sides. Not comforting for privacy, especially on the lower level. I wish there were a dedicated area for smokers away from the property. I try to avoid second-hand smoke if possible. Just a preference for my health... Noise level is moderate. You're very close to others loading and unloading the car for their rooms. You can hear others in their rooms, which means they can probably hear you too. Keep that in mind. Overall, the STAFF WERE NICE. CLEANLINESS is super BASIC. I felt very uneasy sleeping on the sheets and touching anything in the room and showering. QUALITY is low (think: cheap motel). Small property. The best thing about the stay was the GOOD WATER PRESSURE. The location was ok; near food options and stores along the highway. I was traveling to Mobile and knew what I signed up for in terms of commuting. I booked here for a last-minute stay in town for Mardi Gras 2026. I will better prepare next time for the quality stay I desire.
