The only quality here is the name on the sign! Room was old and worn out. Window of the room hasn't been cleaned since the Carter administration! The pool was disgusting and that's being nice. Green in color with large bugs floating in it. The breakfast was poor with only a waffle or cereal for real options. With as many cleaning ladies there you would think this place would be spotless. This morning I pointed out the homeless guy sleeping on their couch in the lobby. I think he got tired after he had his free breakfast. When the desk clerks shift ended he closed the door and left leaving nobody to work the desk! read more

DO NOT waste you money at this place! I left in after two hours. The room was filthy, broken clock, no phone. There were people getting drunk in the parking lot with the car radio blasting with the doors open. Others were drinking a bbq with their doors open. 3.5 First the good: Very friendly staff, dog friendly, they let us check in early, room was large and bed was great, air-conditioning rocked. Soft ice cream in reception!!! Now the bad: They are currently remodeling, so as of last week, only the NON-RENOVATED rooms will be dog friendly. Once the renovations are done, NO PETS ALLOWED. The room felt.... moist. This hotel is dirty! Front desk ladies have terrible customer service skills. They didn't even stop their conversation while I was waiting to check in. Then when I got my room I noticed the outside of the building smelled like urine. The actual room was incredibly dirty as well. Stains on bedding. Stains on walls. Both mirrors had smudges on them. Carpet has seen better days. I'm not even sure they changed the bedding. Every part of our stay was just gross!! I don't expect much when staying at Quality Inn but this was the worst room I've ever stayed in. Being an "award winning" location was hugely misleading. We stayed here one night when we were passing through on our way to Florida. We reserved adjoining rooms, but when we got to the hotel, they gave us rooms on opposite sides of the hotel. Both of our rooms had a HORRIBLE mildew odor that was overwhelming. The safety latch on the inside of our room had stripped screws and could be removed completely from the door easily by hand. I didnt feel at all secure in this room. There was not a single piece of fruit in the continental breakfast, and almost everything was sugary and processed. The staff was extremely friendly, but I would never stay here again. read more

Do NOT believe the reviews on here. We choose to stay at this hotel based on the reviews as we've had previous negative experiences at Quality Inn and boy was that a mistake. First off as soon as we got to the room it was clear this place was run down and quality is not a priority, even basic customer service seems not to be. The room was dirty, the furniture was all damaged and falling apart. There were also 80 construction workers staying here and because there were day and night shift people in each room and the weather was bad there were men hanging out outside their rooms drinking all night and day. Leave your valuable belongings at home. Before I get into my review I will say that they have great thing here, WiFi. It's perfect for me to stream the Astros' game while I'm working out of town. However, they're lacking everywhere else. I'm writing this review in the first place due to the fact my Apple AirPods magically grew legs and walked out of my room while I was working. I've stayed at this place for nearly 3 weeks and have not had issue with my property missing. However last Friday night, like every night I was talking on my phone with my AirPods. I either placed them on my bed or on my nightstand, the only two places they've been while I've been here. However the next day when I returned from work they were no where in my room. I turned my room upside and even looked in my company truck, even though I've never brought them out of my room, and to no avail couldn't locate them. I reached out to the manager and didn't accuse their staff of stealing them, just suggesting they may of not of noticed them in the bedding when they changed the sheets. After a few days not hearing back I again met with the manager before going to work. I ended up losing my cool because she decided to insinuate that I lost them, and that I'm at fault. I then met two cleaning ladies and tore my room apart in front them. I was then told I had to talk to the owner, but was not told when I could speak to him. I was getting the complete runaround. I contacted Choice Hotels and was told by them that the owner will take no responsibility. I went down and talked to him myself, again no one reached out to me to let me know he was on site. I was then basically told by him that they have a protocol that would of enabled them to spot my AirPods before washing the bedding. Then he told me they just made my bed and didn't change the sheets. He was simply deflecting any responsibility. I'll attach a chart of what they'll charge you if you take their property. Including their 50 dollar alarm clock and coffee pot. Other issues: 1. My guys had a an A/C break in their room and they were told they couldn't switch rooms by the hotel clerk until the manager came in the next morning. When they told me that, I immediately went to the front desk and told the clerk to call her manager, and give them a new room. 2. Mostly contractors stay here, no problem. However you get a lot of riff raff from the local community staying here. You can smell the smoke from outside creeping into your room, not to mention there were people staying here openly smoking crappy marijuana outside their room and the amazing smell crept into my room for the night. 3. Wear sandals in your room. Don't take a shower and walk barefoot. Your feet will be black in 5 minutes. I asked a cleaning lady to borrow a vacuum after telling the owner that I no longer want any of his staff in my room. She told me they need to order a vacuum and that she sweeps the carpets. I booked this hotel using Priceline. The high recommended number and great price sold me. Well I should have know it was too good to be true. The room we got was non smoking but it smells like smoke. The people next door smoked so the smell floated from under the door that connected the room. The bathroom smelled moldy and like wet door. Thank goodness I had my Lysol and wipes. The same people that were smoking also had a dog so I guess the previous people had theirs and the smell was left behind. The bed was SUPER HARD. We had a horrible night and could not get comfortable. To top it off one of the large bath towels looked used and not washed just refolded. Never again! read more

Exactly what we need while passing through Mississippi! From the moment we walked in for a late evening check in the staff greeted us and even walked my husband out to the parking lot to show him where he could park our boat and trailer! Really great stay for a excellent price. Our room was perfect. VERY clean, smelled great! Bed was "average" but all bedding was clean and like new. The manager on duty was exceptionally polite and all other staff seemed very friendly and professional. There is a soft serve ice cream machine in the lobby (my son loved it!) Stayed here overnight as a pit stop from Las Vegas to Tampa. Great customer service. Room was very clean. They allow pets and had plenty of grass for them to "use". Breakfast was enjoyable as well. They actually had hard boiled eggs and a waffle maker along w/ the usual continental breakfast items. Ruby Tuesday is next door along with multiple eateries and gas stations nearby. We stayed here for one night. It looks like your average inexpensive hotel with room doors opening onto the sidewalk and big picture glass windows. The recliner's upholstery on the seat had a large tear and wasn';t that comfortable. That being said, I think it was a very good motel. The room was spotless. It had a microwave and refrigerator. The lobby was very pretty. It was decorated for fall and Halloween. They had what resembles a Christmas tree, except it was covered with Halloween decorations. Someone spent a lot of time on that! They had free self serve ice cream in the lobby. The breakfast bar had a great variety. They had an iron to make your own waffles. They had hard boiled egge. Cereal, pasteries, bacon, and many other options were offered. It was very clean and well stocked. If you can get over one or two cosmetic problems, you should find this to be a great place to spend a night. They also have an excersise room and a business center. I have stayed here for the last three nights. The hotel isn't deluxe but it is kept clean. You can tell it is an older building but they keep the place up. I slept great when I was there. The mattress and bedding was comfortable. The room we had was a king and it had a refrigerator and microwave which was handy. They also serve a continental breakfast that is more than just pastries. so i have stayed at this property in the past years and have never complained about the issues I experienced because i was there on a DISCOUNTED RATE- The first year i booked here i was contacted more than 30 days before my reservation was for an was told my credit card was declined.( It was actually expired) When i asked why my reservation had been cancelled i was told because they couldn't charge my card, I was a little confused why they were charging my credit card over a month before my arrival but I gave them my new expiration date and they billed me in advance. Now, i learned from this mistake in the future that even though they dont tell you they will bill you that far in advance they do. So The next couple of years i booked the same weekend, same hotel same discounted rate and have had several issues over the years like no parking being available., Rooms not being cleaned, one year the floor was sopping wet in front of bathroom door and a giant blower fan was in there, The swimming pool was also dirty THIS YEAR however was different. I didnt get a phone call, instead i received an email that my reservation that i made 90 days before my arrival date had been cancelled. We are still 30 days away from our vacation. So i called the hotel, I was told by some poor desk clerk that the notes on my account stated that it had been cancelled because that "special rate" was not permitted that time of year.To which I replied well i booked it right through the Choice Hotels website it was in fact available. She said only 2 of those rooms for that special code can be booked. I had 2 rooms reserved. Then i was told that someone else had used that same special rate code and booked rooms for the exact same time and their reservation had came in first. (Please note that I booked these reservations at 12:05am on the first date the reservations could be booked, SO unless someone else booked their reservations in the 5 min it took for me to book mine in the middle of the night I dont believe it for a second) I believe what happened is this is big weekend for the coast and they can charge much higher room prices and i had a super discounted rate. that was probably supposed to be a black out weekend (no Special rates) I'm pretty sure the manager would have had to answer to the owners about dropping the ball. So instead the Manager decided to inconvenience me and my entire family. Had the General Manager bothered to call me and not just send a email we could have maybe paid full price (I had 2 a discounted rate and 1 at full price) Instead i had to have the desk clerk cancel out my 3rd reservation because only the 2 on the discounted rate were cancelled and i don't think 7 people can fit 1 room. So, watch your reservations people because the management is up to shady business practices. Also, Hotel is not really worth more than $25 a night which is what my discounted rate was for. I have since booked at another hotel and me and m family will enjoy our time in Mississippi and be sure to tell everyone i know How SHADY this place is and how DIRTY they did our family. read more

Rooms are ok. Toilets seem to not work properly. I had to change a couple rooms. Wi-Fi works on and off every 10 minutes so if you rely on Wi-Fi, choose another hotel. Breakfast is subpar...McDonalds tastes better. Some staff is friendly, some are not. The pool had leaves in it. Seems like no one keeps it up. You get what you pay for. read more
