    Adjoining room "lock"
    Laura T.

The room was mostly clean. Stains on the bedding. The door between the optional "adjoining" rooms didn't have a real lock and was locked with a pen. The breakfast was a bag of treats but not food and when I called for more information I was assured there was breakfast. Overall not impressed.

Dirty walls. Dirty sheets. Stained bed skirt. Really gross motel.

This hotel is dirty! Front desk ladies have terrible customer service skills. They didn't even stop their conversation while I was waiting to check in. Then when I got my room I noticed the outside of the building smelled like urine. The actual room was incredibly dirty as well. Stains on bedding. Stains on walls. Both mirrors had smudges on them. Carpet has seen better days. I'm not even sure they changed the bedding. Every part of our stay was just gross!! I don't expect much when staying at Quality Inn but this was the worst room I've ever stayed in. Being an "award winning" location was hugely misleading. This is no where near anything but a dump.

Safety latch could be easily removed by hand. The screws were completely stripped.

We stayed here one night when we were passing through on our way to Florida. We reserved adjoining rooms, but when we got to the hotel, they gave us rooms on opposite sides of the hotel. Both of our rooms had a HORRIBLE mildew odor that was overwhelming. The safety latch on the inside of our room had stripped screws and could be removed completely from the door easily by hand. I didnt feel at all secure in this room. There was not a single piece of fruit in the continental breakfast, and almost everything was sugary and processed. The staff was extremely friendly, but I would never stay here again.

Do NOT believe the reviews on here. We choose to stay at this hotel based on the reviews as we've had previous negative experiences at Quality Inn and boy was that a mistake. First off as soon as we got to the room it was clear this place was run down and quality is not a priority, even basic customer service seems not to be. The room was dirty, the furniture was all damaged and falling apart. There were also 80 construction workers staying here and because there were day and night shift people in each room and the weather was bad there were men hanging out outside their rooms drinking all night and day. Have tried contacting/no response!

Leave your valuable belongings at home. Before I get into my review I will say that they have great thing here, WiFi. It's perfect for me to stream the Astros' game while I'm working out of town. However, they're lacking everywhere else. I'm writing this review in the first place due to the fact my Apple AirPods magically grew legs and walked out of my room while I was working. I've stayed at this place for nearly 3 weeks and have not had issue with my property missing. However last Friday night, like every night I was talking on my phone with my AirPods. I either placed them on my bed or on my nightstand, the only two places they've been while I've been here. However the next day when I returned from work they were no where in my room. I turned my room upside and even looked in my company truck, even though I've never brought them out of my room, and to no avail couldn't locate them. I reached out to the manager and didn't accuse their staff of stealing them, just suggesting they may of not of noticed them in the bedding when they changed the sheets. After a few days not hearing back I again met with the manager before going to work. I ended up losing my cool because she decided to insinuate that I lost them, and that I'm at fault. I then met two cleaning ladies and tore my room apart in front them. I was then told I had to talk to the owner, but was not told when I could speak to him. I was getting the complete runaround. I contacted Choice Hotels and was told by them that the owner will take no responsibility. I went down and talked to him myself, again no one reached out to me to let me know he was on site. I was then basically told by him that they have a protocol that would of enabled them to spot my AirPods before washing the bedding. Then he told me they just made my bed and didn't change the sheets. He was simply deflecting any responsibility. I'll attach a chart of what they'll charge you if you take their property. Including their 50 dollar alarm clock and coffee pot. Other issues: 1. My guys had a an A/C break in their room and they were told they couldn't switch rooms by the hotel clerk until the manager came in the next morning. When they told me that, I immediately went to the front desk and told the clerk to call her manager, and give them a new room. 2. Mostly contractors stay here, no problem. However you get a lot of riff raff from the local community staying here. You can smell the smoke from outside creeping into your room, not to mention there were people staying here openly smoking crappy marijuana outside their room and the amazing smell crept into my room for the night. 3. Wear sandals in your room. Don't take a shower and walk barefoot. Your feet will be black in 5 minutes. I asked a cleaning lady to borrow a vacuum after telling the owner that I no longer want any of his staff in my room. She told me they need to order a vacuum and that she sweeps the carpets. Also attached is a picture of the sticky spot on the carpet my sandals sticks to.

    Great furniture.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay - Best Holiday Inn Express Experience Hands Down!…read more I just wrapped up an incredible stay at the Holiday Inn Express Pascagoula-Moss Point, and wow--what a gem! From the moment I walked in, the super friendly staff had me feeling like family. Shoutout to the front desk team--they were genuinely welcoming, helpful with local recommendations, and always smiling no matter what time of day. The rooms are seriously spacious--big, modern, and spotless. Plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds that felt like sleeping on clouds, crisp fresh linens, and everything just smelled clean and inviting. It's the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back after a long day. And the breakfast? Absolute game-changer. They go way beyond the standard continental--hot options like eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and great coffee that kept flowing. It was delicious, well-stocked every morning, and the variety made starting the day easy and enjoyable. The whole property is well-maintained, quiet, convenient off I-10, and perfect for anyone passing through or staying in the Moss Point/Pascagoula area. Cleanliness is top-tier, value is unbeatable, and the vibe is just positive all around. If you're looking for a reliable, upgraded Holiday Inn Express experience with big rooms, killer breakfast, and staff that truly cares--book this place without hesitation. 10/10, will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! Highly recommend--easily one of the best in the chain.

The best thing I can say about this place is that they had no bug issues. No cockroaches or bed…read morebugs that I saw however I didn't have any food in my room and was only there for one night. The staff is also very friendly. The parking area didn't feel like a safe place for me to leave my car, and it was a bit of a rough crowd that seemed to be staying there. One guy was intently staring at me as I unloaded my car, and there is no security for the hotel. The room felt clean, which was good for a $135 room fee (plus $15 pet fee). Also there are shelves by the sink that are extremely easy for cats to jump onto. This makes it possible for them to climb onto the extremely weak plastic light fixture over the sink. I tried my best to block off this shelf with boxes from my car, but my clever cat still managed to climb up there and wake me multiple times throughout the night. The platform of the bed is also about eight inches from the wall allowing dogs or cats a perfect hard to reach hiding spot. My brother was placed in a room next to the laundry room which also has the maids utility closet in it. He woke to someone doing their laundry at 3am, and then again at 9am to the maids laughing and talking loudly. I recommend trying to get a room that isn't near the laundry area if you're going to stay here.

When we first checked in, our room's smell slapped us in the face with cigarette smoke and…read morewater/must/mold. Very strong. The front desk actually called up to us after we got to our room to ask if we were okay with everything or needed anything. I brought up the smell and she said it's a non-smoking room so it shouldn't be that bad. It felt like a dismissal of liability but whatever. I didn't trade rooms because I wanted to be across from my father's room. Thankfully my baby doesn't have asthma or respiratory issues. We all kept waking up with runny noses and headaches though, so it's a situation. I was concerned with cleaning room staff because one of the ladys walked into my room (I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door!) and then walked out after figuring out that we were inside. Upon walking down the hallway I noticed another member of cleaning staff doing something in a guest's room, and after he left he didn't close the door. He left it opened for some reason even after he had finished refreshing the room!! More concern. To top off my concerns, when we arrived back at our room for the night after being at my grandmother's funeral we parked next to a couple blatantly having sex and smoking weed in their vehicle. I looked over so they would KNOW I saw and the male exited his car. However, when I spoke to the front desk clerk about the safety concerns I had she told me "if I don't mess with them they won't mess with me" and "we have cameras if they did try to mess with anything." After I walked away from the desk, she burst out laughing and told the other two ladies standing there something, probably making fun of me for being concerned. My husband and I were contemplating leaving immediately. When we woke up and stepped out of room door, it was an overpowering smell of weed. The staff were the only ones in the hallways. I used the laundry machines to wash/dry clothes, it costs $2 in quarters for each. There are no quarter machines so you have to go down to the front desk and trade dollar for quarters. One of the machine's detergent drawer was completely missing and detergent had leaked down the washer. The ice machine right beside it didn't work. This is on the third floor, I cannot speak to any of the other floors. I feel like I'm just adding insult to injury at this point so I'm done. I will add that one of the only redeeming factors is the breakfast and breakfast staff! The lady refreshing the food was so kind and kept everything very clean. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place to stay to chill/smoke weed/have sex in the parking lot/wake up with headaches and runny noses from the smoke inside your room this is your place. This location has signage communicating a smoke-free environment but that doesn't apply obviously. The sad part, the other surrounding hotels didn't look much better on this exit. My advice would be stay at a different exit. Having to drive a little further would've been worth not having my family's safety compromised. They just don't care to follow rules!

There was metal sticking out from the bottom of the bed (I'm assuming from the bed frame and my senior citizen husband hit his ankle on it! See all my pictures of documentation! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
