We stayed for 6 days. Wendy was wonderful regarding clearing up any scheduling issues we had. Amy was amazing concerning adding more days, getting anything extra we needed, and being such a pleasant, delightful professional to speak with every morning. This type of service is now rare. My family is so appreciative of the help Amy and Wendy gave us, especially during a prolonged medical emergency. We just wanted to make sure management knew and understood our thanks.

When we arrived downstairs for breakfast at 8:15 am (still 45 minutes before the end of the breakfast service), one of the kitchen crew looked at my family of 5 as if she were instantly annoyed that we we existed. My daughter even asked whether we did something wrong. As we walked around the food presentation area to survey the breakfast options, it looked like an entire youth football camp had just ravaged the place. Seriously, there was next to nothing left. One piece of bacon, one egg, a couple yogurts, a few pieces of fruit remnants, one sad little pastry, and a crust of oatmeal at the bottom of the bucket (check the pics, I'm not making this up--although I wasn't quick enough to photo to egg/bacon before Sally Sunshine yanked the bins and stormed into the kitchen). As a Hilton Honors member and a very frequent traveler, I will say that I have rarely experienced such poor customer service at a Hilton property. Yet, apparently at this Hilton property in Davenport breakfast is NOT the most important meal of the day (or at least serving edible food with a smile isn't all that important). Staff were friendly, though not outgoing, I wandered for a tiny bit clearly looking for where to check in, and the person could have called out to me, but didn't/ Not a huge ding, but also a missed opportunity to provide service. Room was clean and comfortable, if oddly shaped. Bathroom had everything I needed, and was spacious. The connivence to the next door River Center, where the conference took place, was perfect - I could easily cross the street, or if weather was inclement, could take the skybridge. I have found the owners to be accessible but not overbearing. I stay for consecutive nights and am always offered assistance in the middle of the stay. I've stayed in 4+ rooms and have had a clean room (much cleaner than any standard hotel chain) the appliances all work, hot (almost steamy) water is available for showers and each room has it's own a/c. This hotel is priced appropriately and in my opinion is a good value for a comfortable stay.

My mother in law had the party room checked out which worked fantastically for us. We were afraid of being too loud for other guests but as it turns out we bothered no one. The dining room attendant is fantastic. She helped us encourage our five and three year old to eat breakfast and rewarded them with a small package of Oreos. She was on top of the food and was constantly filling empty containers so everyone could eat. I would recommend the hotel to anyone passing through or if you need a place to stay for a weekend.

Not sure when the room and hallway were renovated, but it must have been recently. The bed was super comfy, the room was immaculate and quiet, and I had a great view of the wonderful holiday decorations that light up John Deere Commons this time of year. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful, especially Kristy, who directed me to several things, including the retro neighborhood liquor store so I could buy a "getting in" gift for Christmas Eve dinner. In the time of Covid, I appreciated that they enforced face mask use in the common areas. Didn't expect much from the complimentary breakfast bar due to pandemic restrictions, but lucked out... they had the Activia I eat for breakfast every day! The breakfast bar and dining area were very clean, and there was fresh coffee 24 hours a day. Can't imagine staying anyplace else when I visit the Quad Cities again.

If you walk straight, there's a cupboard that has snacks and drinks. There's a locker that was espresso color wood that had kitchen gadgets such as cork screws, grilling tools, blender, crock pot, waffle maker, etc. There is also a door that leads you out side where there's a tables, chairs, and grills. The place even has a laundry room and work out room. I stayed in a studio suite that looked lovely and modern. The room had espresso cabinets filled with cups, plates, and glasses, a microwave, sink, stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, a work desk, brown leather chair, another chair with white and brown accents, a picture of the sun rising above the corn fields, a big tv, a beige chair near the bed, and the bed was absolutely comfortable. The bathroom had a huge mirror with a modern light that went the length of the mirror, espresso color wood cabinets, espresso color wood shelves, and a hair drier. The shower had the shampoo, conditioner, and body gel on the shower wall, which made of aloe and smelled lovely. I wish I had taken pictures of the place and the room. Due to the new covid pandemic, the hotel was taking various precautions such as glass between you and the guest service rep. Also, the rooms were thoroughly cleaned between guests. If you wish to stay longer, there was a sign in the bathroom about house keeping only cleaning your room a few times and that you could pick up extra towels, soap, etc at the check in desk.
