Shocked this place has a 2.8. Have unfortunately been staying for work. The staff are barely alive at the desk. Completely apathetic to their job, but how exciting is this place for real? I've stayed multiple times and the place is dingy and not kept up. Last time a pipe made noise every 15 minutes and my towels were fraying and felt like sandpaper. This time I was left some presents in my room - a dead bug on the desk and someone's contact lens on the floor of the bathroom. And, the breakfast was worse than at other Hampton Inns. No Raisin Bran (a usual Hampton staple) and also no salsa for any eggs. I spent a lot of time at Hampton Inns in TX and while not five-star properties, those are Infinitely better. This has to be the most inconsistent hotel in the Hilton family of hotels. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are pretty bad. This visit checked the bad box. We arrive after a 10 hour drive to check in. Lady at the counter struggled to be somewhat kind but failed miserably when it came to acknowledging their Hilton Honors program. I have been a loyal Hilton Honors member for at least 30 years. After receiving my room key I inquiry about the water bottles for the room. She says they ran out of water but they have a couple fountains to drink from. There was water in their little store but no effort from this lady to please the customer and grab a bottle or two and provide this basic perk. The room assigned was okay but placed at the very end of the hall. We hit breakfast about 10 minutes after it opens and have to request coffee cups because they forgot to put them out. Breakfast was a combination of powdered and watery eggs, undercooked bacon and mushy home fries. Gross! When we go to checkout the dude at the front desk had his head buried into his phone, would not take my room key (put it in the container, says he), no thank you, no how was your stay, just kept his eyes on his phone. We like staying in Patterson when traveling back from Oregon but may have to rethink this. I have come to realize I am too old for inconsistency and that is a trait of this hotel. Perhaps the manager needs to be replaced or trained better because the employees seem to not know the basics of customer service. Two stars are very generous based on this visit. read more

This stay was very disappointing. Within 20 minutes of arriving, I found a roach in the restroom. The window shades were visibly dirty, the pool was unclean, and the fire pit was out of order. A family member staying on another floor also lost power for a few hours the next morning. The most concerning issue was being told there were no clean towels available after the first night. For a hotel of this standard, that's unacceptable. While I tried to make the best of my visit with family, the overall experience fell far below expectations. read more

Sheesh! I really don't like leaving negative reviews, however, my stay this weekend was not great. When I checked in, I didn't get complimentary water bottles, being a Silver Hilton Honors guest as I have my past few visits. I'm not a hotel snob in any sense- I rack up points to use on future vacations. In our room, there was only ONE BAR OF SOAP. No Shampoo and Conditioner inclusions. So the same one bar of soap we used to wash our hands with had to also be used as our soap bar for our showers. What in the world? And as there are usually 4 bath towels, we only initially had 2. For what was invested in this room- there was no return. Lastly, I retract my comment about the pool. We can understand and do dust. It's a dusty AG area. My teenager would not dip into the pool after seeing bugs swimming. BUGS SWIMMING AND DIPPING! My thought is that there is not enough chlorine or cleanliness to kill off the mosquito larvae-- THAT WE SAW SWIMMING IN THE POOL. No upkeep, whatsoever. BOO stay. It was fine. I couldn't use my travel points because of a computer glitch, but the person was nice when we arrived. We were set up with a funky room in a dark corner and there's no reason for it. At least if there was, no one bothered to tell me. They have breakfast, with very little for me to eat. The coffee was OK. They had fresh fruit, cereals, bread, a waffle station. My husband hated this waffle. He got the red velvet one and was unamused. But the check-in and check-out were fine. Now, I wish there was some entertainment in the area. I'm thankful that I don't have to come down this way more often. We were here for my stepson's birthday and don't know if I'll come back, mainly because it may be possible to get something closer to them. But for this trip, it was good. Honest review I am on dialysis I needed to have a clean accessible bath. This place was neither we came to see family so we check in around midnight for our booking we had booked and paid for in advance. We didn't have time to see the room so we came b back after festivities around 4 30 am the smell of cigarettes and male cologne was horrendous. The toilets were filthy We left at 751 and tried to tell the front desk person I think her name was Jessica or Veronica she was so rude. So we booked for a wedding and as wedding was at 3, we requested an early check-in. The day before, we confirmed a 1:30 check-in. We arrived at 1:30 and went to check-in and was notified the hotel was sold out and we would be texted when our room was ready. So we got ready in a friends room. Inconvenient, but whatever. At the wedding reception, at 8:45pm, we were finally texted that our room was ready. Totally unacceptable! When we got to our room (2 beds) we were so happy on how clean it was. Update: by posting this review we received a threatening phone call from the hotel from a representative named "Labona." This call came today, on Christmas evening while I was opening gifts with my one year old in response to the review below I wrote last night (Christmas Eve). If you do stay here write your review after you leave or they will threaten you and your family. They justified their threats by stating: they dont appreciate negative reviews. They then insinuated I was a scammer because I have a 209 phone number and am using a hotel here? I am visiting family for Christmas and needed space outside family home due to an infant. I grew up here. Disgusting that a hotel feels the need to threaten me personally and my family to intimidate me into taking down a 2 star review. Original review: I had high hopes given this is a new hotel but I was extremely disappointed. There are some pros but many cons. Cons: - temperature. Thermostats will not allow you to adjust below 68 and wont really let room get below 69 degrees. So the rooms feel stuffy and hot. This is extremely disappointing for a hotel in the valley. Further, I requested a fan and they were all checked out by other guests. I assume that means we are not the only family hot? I guess they are too cheap to allow guests for be comfortable and set a room at 66 degrees which is pretty typical and comfy for most. I wouldnt dare stay here in the summer for the Fiesta. - early checkin. This hotel will not allow you to checkin early. They say the earliest possible, what they consider an early checkin, is 1pm. There is no flexibility. Which is a little ridiculous given the hotel is 50-75% empty. I can say this because in two days I have not seen a single other guest, the parking lot is pretty empty, and I haven't heard a peep. - cleaning. The hotel will only clean a room every other day. Again another cheap measure by the hotel they may claim as eco friendly. Just disappointing. We left the hotel requesting our room be cleaned. They said yes. Got back to a dirty room. Just disappointed. - no cribs. I request a crib ahead and it was not in our room upon arrival. Turns out they only have pack n plays unlike other hotels with roll away cribs. The lack of substantial padding meant we were up all night with an upset child. - communication: As stated above re pack n play there was confusion and requests made ahead were not followed. Same regarding cleaning. Said it would be done, was not due to policy. Should have not stated they would if they wouldnt. -water pressure. Water pressure in shower is weak. -lighting. Had to take an unexpected trip from AZ to Northern CA - we knew we wouldn't drive straight through, but were uncertain how far we wanted to drive. We spot checked a few hotels along the route to ensure we could get a room and then took off. We were making great time and decided we could push ourselves a bit further. I spent some time googling and found Patterson, CA and the Hampton Inn. Reviews looked good and the hotel was new, so we stopped and got a room. They require masks upon entry and the check in desk had the Plexiglas. Lots of signage around stating to wear masks and keep your distancing. Check in was fast and professional. We did ask for a room that would be quiet as definitely needed some sleep. We were told the room they had was tucked in the corner - perfect we thought! Not really perfect as we were right next to the exit to the outside smoking area. Apparently PG&E had a ton of employees staying there that like to smoke ALL night, so the door was banging shut ALL night...did I mention ALL night! That aside, the rooms once cleaned have a sticker across the door, so you feel secure that the room has not been entered since the cleaning process. The rooms were nice and had the "new car smell" still - being only open for a short time. The bathroom had some issues - toilet seat barely hanging on - handles about to fall off, but the water pressure in the shower was amazing! All in all it was still a nice quick stay. They kicked us out on Christmas for leaving a mixed review. We had left a fair but not perfect review because we were frustrated that they didn't offer the same crib they had offered and they weren't able to turn down our room despite promising that they would. We received a call with one night left accusing us of being scammers and flat out saying that we shouldn't be comfortable continuing our stay if we were leaving negative reviews. I had business to conduct in Turlock, but was not able to find a room in town with the combination of accommodations I wanted for my stay. I was ever able to find a suitable room available last minute at the Hampton Inn in Patterson, located a 20-30 minute drive in the country side, outside of Turlock. Depending on the route you take to get in to Turlock from Patterson. Beware the roads can be very bumpy. Lots of potholes, so drive carefully and slowly, but the view is beautiful as you drive through the orchards, passing the old farm houses mixed with the new and for a city gal, like me, the change of scenery and pace were a welcome change. The staff at the Hampton in Patterson were quite honestly some of the most friendly and most helpful service people I have encountered during my frequent stays in hotels. The song from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, "Be Our Guest" comes to mind, because the staff really all seemed to enjoy doing what they did and everyone greeted me with a warm welcoming smile from the night desk man to the reception desk staff to the cleaning staff and breakfast coordinator. Everyone was willing to go the extra mile for guests and I witnessed it being done over and over for other guests, as well as for my own needs. The hotel is very clean, and not in a cover up with heavy deodorizer kind of way, but actually clean.The mattresses were great on both queen beds in my room. I slept on both of them during my stay, and slept so soundly that I overslept on my last night, delaying my check out a little bit. I know I am a diamond member, so Hilton Hotels tend to be nicer to me, but even after having to extend my check out 30 minutes past my already late-check out time, they were exceptionally understanding and accommodating, and I was extremely grateful for that, and actually was what prompted me to leave this review. The water pressure was the only thing that I can say was an issue during my stay. when I brought the shower, water pressure issue up to the front desk staff they were more than happy to accommodate and move me to another room as soon as one was cleaned in a couple of hours time however, due to my busy schedule I was unable to make that transfer and opted instead, to remain in my room and just use the bathtub instead. I would normally take a star off for the water pressure because it was that poor however, everything else during my stay was so over the top, that I'm leaving the five stars. I'm going to give this Hotel an opportunity to address the water pressure issues which I'm certain they're aware of already. I think that the Hamptons being an older chain of hotels seems to have this problem or at least most of them that I've been to have this issue, and that is why I am usually careful in particular about reserving a room with a bathtub when I stay in Hampton hotels. I will stay at the Hampton in Patterson again when I'm in the area, because a positive atmosphere, helpful staff and excellent mattresses for a good night's sleep, far out weigh the few inconveniences that did come up during my stay. read more

I've had things stolen from me while staying at crap hotels when I wanted to save money. You'd THINK if you pay more, the better quality of service. Right? No. My stuff was stolen. Off premises. Behind locked gate. BY STAFF. And the best part is the hotel begins to treat us as if WE did something wrong and is covering up for her!! Not to mention lie after lie after lie. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This hotel is very poorly run which is a shame bc it's a brand new hotel. I have two heavy complaints. 2 weeks ago I stayed here with my children. Upon arriving we made the appropriate accommodations and requested a mobility room as those are the only rooms with bathtubs in them. I have two children who medically cannot take showers. I was please to be helped and serviced with my accommodations. Once stepping into our room the kids took their showers and settled in. The the middle of the night my 4 year old is restless and feels under his pillow in which he found an electronic cigarette and started playing with it. I immediately was furious. Having something like this found in bed means the bed was merely made- only and not sheets changed. I then decided to check the other bed as we had a room with 2 queen beds. Once lifting the comforter up, I found USED tissues in the bed. I was appalled but what to do at 2am. I spoke to the manager the next day who seemed a little irritated I was bringing this up as an issue and decided to give me a credit for the next time I come in town. We agreed, but still no apology for the cleanliness of the hotel. My second complaint lies with the hospitality, disrespectful news and refusal to accommodate a handicap room. Not only is this against the law, I was given attitude (from the lady in the front- Ashley) when requesting to speak to the manager who was helping me and knew of the issue. Once the day manager Aricelli came out she also had an attitude bc I pulled her away from a meeting to help and then proceeded to ask if I was handicap. AGAIN THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW. You cannot discriminate against me or my children bc you don't visually see a handicap. I work in healthcare. I see all types of handicaps and this goes to show the ignorance of ppl. The BBB has been contacted as this is evident failure to understand basic training or their role in hotel hospitality and general customer service. **UPDATE** Not only does the BBB have an open investigation of this hotel but I also contacted the Department of Consumers Affairs. Reading other reviews, hotel management needs to be addressed. That being said, the cleanliness, health and safety of their guest should be a top priority while also being able to accommodate the needs of the guest given situations. read more

Nice hotel other than misleading staff. Long story short I forgot my ring which we called and asked about a day or 2 after. Someone stated they didn't find nothing and then turns out they did. They stated they would hold the ring for us to pick up but since it's a far drive for us we then requested to have it mailed. We were told at the time that they couldn't mail it in. We left it at that and then called back again and we were then told we had to buy a shipping label in order to have it sent. Fast forward to today I received a call from the manager stating that she ended up putting the ring in an envelope with a stamp but yet she failed to notify us at the time. I'm super upset because it's been over a month now and of course i never received anything and wasn't even aware it had been sent. DO NOT STAY HERE!! First we arrived this past weekend to find out there were no downstairs room available. Not only did we send an email, but spoke to Lexi 48 hrs before we arrived that there would be no problem when we checked in. The front desk young girl informed us she was on her own for the first time ever. She obviously did not have much training since she had NO knowledge or had any communication to her about our accomodations. Right away she called a mgr on the phone to find out what to do. We were told there was nothing for us and offered a refund to us. So we decided to talk to the supervisor Aracelia and she told us that her own staff Lexi that she has no idea on the layout of our hotel and provided us with incorrect info. Since it was late and we had a disability fundraising event to attend early the next morning, we had no option but to take the upstairs room. As we entered onto the elevator we smelled smoke throughout the hotel As we unpacked we heard loud noise outside near the pool. By 10pm we called the front desk to contact them to quiet the big party down from our room. They continued to scream, play inappropriate music, slam gates, smoke, drink and have other friends come and go till 4am in the morning. The next morning we woke up to staff with no masks on near the breakfast area. No social distancing or masks were being worn based on there website on covid precuations. Notified the new staff we were very upset and shame on them for not doing anything to allow other guests to keep others up all night!! read more

Staff here was just rude. We had a woman that works there walk into two of our rooms without even knocking. She just barged in. We told the MOD, and he did not even seem to care. Ontop of this, we asked for room service and only one bed was made, and the garbage can was empty but there was no bag put in after. They did not even give us towels after two days of asking. They ran the fire alarm without warning anyone that there would be a drill, so we were freaking out that there was a fire. Also, no staff was wearing masks. We live in Patterson and we told our kids that once the hotel was built that we would try it out. Something fun to do but when the pandemic hit we decided to wait. After being in our house for so long I decided to call and ask about cleaning and safety procedures. After talking to staff off and on I decided I felt very safe. We arrived and all of the hotel staff was wearing masks and I could tell it was very clean. We were welcomed by two staff members in the lobby. We checked in and then headed to the pool. While we were hanging at the pool we saw staff cleaning and asking if we needed anything. Our stay way so amazing that I decided to reserve three rooms for our daughters 14th birthday. Our family enjoyed another two days there. With the most amazing service again. We even had one of the guys bring us all cold waters and Lysol wipes. Wow! My Mom and Dad are nurses and felt that this hotel went above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe and happy. Kind of felt like you were hanging at a friends house. Was having some work done on our house in town so had to stay for 6 days. The room was spacious and for the most part clean. A couple small pieces of a wrapper on the floor that was missed by housekeeping. Bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows to choose from. Thermostat is somewhat controlled by front desk. Had to call to get them to switch my AC/HVC to cool from heat. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Will suggest family visitors stay at this facility when they come to visit. read more

Extremely disappointed . Every Hilton experience except 1 has been terrible. I'm going to sign up for another club like Hyatt. Go with Hilton if you love dealing with reps who do not care and if you like breakfast without eggs with no empathy behind it. Hilton won't do a thing to make it right. Go with a company who cares. We choose this hotel because of how brand new it is. We're visiting from a far to spend Mother's Day weekend with our mom and thought was a great spot to come stay. First off let me tell you, Richard (the front office manager) greeted us with a smile and is such an awesome manager. With a smooth check-in, he made sure we were well taken care of with any of stay needs. It's a awesome feeling knowing your being taken care of and when they go out of their way to make sure of it! Richard went ABOVE & BEYOND!! You will love knowing you're in great hands and that's how we felt when staying here at the Hampton's. Everything is GREAT!! We booked a room, got to the hotel and they said they had our reservation, but they were sold out of rooms. So, we had to go next door and get a room, mind you, at 9 p.m. There was a man with a four year old that experienced the same thing who stood in line behind me. So, today I noticed they charged my credit card almost $180 and now have to wait 3-5 days for them to credit my account. No apologies were mentioned at all by the manager. Be aware of this hotel, seems to be a normal practice for them from reading other reviews. I will never stay there. Deserves zero stars. read more

Ashley at the front desk was very helpful with getting me checked into my room. This was my second time staying here and it was wonderful. Breakfast was good and room was clean :) 5 stars!! read more
